I just checked in today, and I'll reserve my final opinion until I taste the coffee in the morning. I'm a Marriott/Hilton guy that spends 127 nights in hotels every year. This hotel was halfway to my destination… there were things about this hotel I'm not used to… the hotel is massive! I can't imagine the housekeeping staff could keep up with the complaints or reviews. But you get what you pay for… I had to realign my toilet to be flush with the wall, push back the shower to be plumb with the shower wall… but in different hotels, I scrap all the marketing ads in the hotel… it's not a 140-180/ nt hotel… after looking at the reviews, I had to check… didn't find any bedbugs in my room… after all that, for what I look for… I had a very quick check in, the lady at the desk was friendly and professional… the buffet next door was beautiful, but way too salty… it's a decent hotel worth the money and amenities… but I don't think I'd feel comfortable enough to drink the tap water… but maybe I'm a brat.

The rooms are nice and spacious, have all the commodities you need (small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc) The hotel is nice shape, not ran down. The staff are polite. The air was already going when we got to our room. Most important the price is reasonable :)

The hotel is conveniently located close to main street and the highway on the north side of town, several shopping malls, both fast food and finer dining establishment including a sushi/asian fusion buffet on the hotel property. They have a very nice indoor swimming pool for lap swimming or kids to cool off and have fun. My room was less than 65.00 a night and we'll appointed with a full size bath/shower, king sized bed, safe, ironing board, 32" tv, excellent air conditioner, and was pet friendly. I enjoyed my stay in the Madisonville area, and this is my fourth time staying at this Days Inn. I've never had a problem and always have been treated well.

Rooms are clean and cozy. Quiet atmosphere. Rooms are reasonably priced.

I am giving this hotel the highest of ratings for quality. Yes there are nicer looking hotels but not for this price. We stayed 12 days at this hotel and were treated like family. The owner was on site most days working to redo the entire place. The staff were fantastic and everything was clean. I plan to make this hotel a go back for sure and this owner also has hotels other places and I plan to go there as well. Can not beat this place for the money. Why pay more for less.

Stayed here when we were visiting my dad and stepmom. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. If you plan to visit the area, I recommend that you stay here.

The rooms are ok for the most part I guess. The Wi-Fi is horrible and the owner and maintenance guy tend to give you dirty looks anytime you walk past them. The front desk staff is nice for the most part except for the few that dont want to say hello to you let alone help you with anything. Oh yea and when I confronted the front desk people with the fact that even though I had the do not disturb sign on my door that I felt that people were in my room since every time I came home from work my air conditioning was magically off and they then proceeded to tell me that the owner goes into rooms no matter what to look around and make sure everything is ok and turn the air conditioner off to save on bills since its the "slow" time of the year. Totally and completely felt like my privacy had been violated and god only knows what was touched or rummaged through. If not for the fact that it was paid for by the company I work for I would have personally left and found a different place to stay such as the two hotels beside this one. After my stay here this time around I will make sure to specifically request to never be put back in this hotel ever again. I would advise anyone not to let the pool drag you in this hotel. Save your money and spend a little extra to stay at a place of quality and integrity.

Not the best hotel. But not the worst. The lobby is very nice. But the rooms are way outdated.

Was very happy my mom surprised me with a much needed getaway so I could just vedge. Had a hard time getting into room. My mom reserved it early this morning, but I had to leave and come back TWICE before they had cleaned my room so I could even stay. I was told the first time that it would be cleaned right away. So when I can back TWO hours later, it still hadn't been touched and the housekeeper that told us was gone and the one in his place didn't even know. Over half my stay was over before I could even stay. Out of 5 lamps in the room only two worked. The room was stuffy when I got here so I turned the air on and it sounded awful when it came on.

Enjoyed my stay. Loved the Olympic sized swimming pool. Also there is a great Chinese restaurant connected to the hotel.

This place is usually very quiet. All of the employees are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are comfortable. The staff is friendly and the owners are very gracious. If you need a good room at a fair price, this is the right place.

The food and people were great. Had great attitudes.

Hotel was ok, but needed updating to compete. Room was large and well appointed but looked like a room from 1987.

We had 7 rooms rented for work. 11 guys staying in them and 7 out of 11 were ate up with bed bugs. They moved rooms and still several were once again ate up. We stay in a lot of hotell for work and this is one of if not the worst we have ever came across. Very gross and painful for my guys. 3 have had to seek medical attention for there severe bites all up and down there legs and back. Please be careful if you plan to stay here. The only side note of positivity about the place is the clerk Melissa who works there is very nice and took care of us. The owner is the exact opposite and very ill toward guests who think bed bugs shouldn't be part of your stay.

I've been in days inns before but buy far this year is the best one I've ever seen and I will come back for pleasure not for work d.

Just checked in and was very easy and quick. Rooms are much nicer then I expected. Also they have semi parking.

It was decent. They were the only hotel in the area that had availability at the time. The hallways seemed a little sketchy and the rooms a bit outdated but the lady in the office was really nice, the rooms were clean and there was NO bugs. I would stay again.

Have stayed here on previous trip. It's close to places to eat and the rooms are spacious, staff was very friendly. Have enjoyed both experiences.

Our roomed smelled like someone had lived and smoked in it for 20 years. Roaches came out to visit. Beds had springs coming up through the covers. Bathroom was filthy and no water pressure in shower it dribbled at best. Staff at front desk rude. Waited 30 minutes to check in while front desk clerk argued with a customer on phone. Should have turned and walked away then. Only saving grace was the pool facility it was clean and well maintained. No security locks on outside doors anyone could come and go. Breakfast was unappealing and just nasty smelling. Save yourself the hassle and pay the extra $15 a night and go to nicer place.

Motel needs updating! Safety concern, the outside doors are not updated meaning anyone can walk in at anytime. I asked the front desk clerk and she stated that the doors to the outside do not lock although they have the keys slide as if they do. She stated they will be but not as of yet. She also stated that they have security cameras however No one is monitoring the cameras continuously. My point is this if you are gonna charge full price for your "amenities" and more importantly when we check in you go to the point to tell us how to use the key to get back in the motel from the outside, don't you think the doors should be secured? I know we all want to feel safe when traveling and you put us in the rear of the building with no security. Toilet seat moves, mattress is old and worn out to the point you seek into the center. Lesson learned although we could not get a refund on the room I felt non secure and luckily we went a mile down the road and found a secure motel with the Marriott.

The bed is very comfortable, the cleanliness is very good, the rooms do not have bad smells, although they are not modern they are very comfortable.

Best hotel in madisonville ky. Rooms are great and the price us well worth it with the staff that's included.

Always had friendly staff and nice stay. The pool is lovely.

Booked the rooms for company who came in and had dogs. Very dog friendly facility. Dog rooms are in front so minimum problem for others in hotel. Room was clean but not updated and needs to be. Staff very friendly plus the rate was fantastic. 4 rating was as they need to upgrade the rooms. Old fashioned and need it.

Went to the Chinese restaurant located there. Fodd was good, server attentative, all of that was wonderful. Has gotten a bit pricey. 25 plus top for 2?

If I was able this rating wouldn't have a single star. The service I got was terrible. Every morning around 9 I was woke up by loud knocking and someone screaming housekeeping. This is normal but after saying (loading enough for him to hear) no thanks he continued until I was forced to get out of bed and ask him to stop. I spent 4 nights at this hotel and this was repeated every morning. I will never come back to your hotel and will tell my friends about my horrible experience!

Decent room. Good common area. Easy access. Perfect for road workers on a budget.

Pretty nice place great space in the rooms for gatherings they have a expertise room and pool. Something for everyone. Also a bar and a Chinese restaurant connected to the hotel. Very clean and customer service was great.

Days inn was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and rather amazing. And the location was perfect.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and really clean. All in all it made me wish that I was spending the night instead of just attending a meeting. I may have to go back and stay, even tho I just live right here in town lol.

Everything was great on the surface, the hotel looked clean. The rooms were comfortable, the pool is huge and 9 days into my stay I realized that I had been shredded by bed bugs and had the worst ear infection of my life from the pool that was not properly maintained.

This place is a true DUMP! I had a horrible king size room. Sink was clogged, bugs flying around in room, foul smell from bathroom all the time, lumpy bed, extremely dirty hardwood floor, mix match furniture, small TV, poor lighting. And stain on sheets. Will NEVER stay again!

The place smelled like urine there were roaches on the sink, beds, and shower which also had public hairs on the walls. Gross is the only word I would use to describe this particular days Inn.

Rooms are excellent and spacious… Would recommend this place anytime.

My husband went to the hotel and had about 50+ bed bug bites the next day. Will never go back said next time if the other hotel is booked he'll sleep in the truck:

Wasn't so bad as when we pulled in but as we got in our room things changed. Its not remodeled like it say on Google. This place is a dirt pot. Call down to front desk and ask for a rollaway bed they dont have any. But yet they still charged me for a 3rd person when there beds our the size of a xl twin. The people around us keep us up all night. If I could get my money back I wouldnt be staying here again. But that wont redund my money so im stuck in this pot hole.

I was doing training there for the fire department. The pool area and locker room were very clean.

The food was really good. But our service was terrible. We waited for our crab forever. Then we asked the server and she said "oh they'll bring it when it's done. " She was also chewing gum the entire time. And when I got the wrong wine she yelled at the cashier who made the mistake all the way across the restaurant, then made ME tell her what was wrong. Rediculous!

There were butt cheek prints on the walls, bugs, and hair all over my room gave one star because it made me.

Checked in late at night. The hotel was dark and dirty upon first entering the building. When we get to our room the carpet was nasty then I go into the bathroom and turn on the lights as about 10 roaches go running under the bathtub. My husband didn't want to leave some we stayed but slept with the lights on to keep the roaches away. Will never ever stay at this hotel again!

Great service, lovely people, comfortable beds, and one of the best Days Inn I've ever stayed in. This is a beautiful hotel and I recommend it to everyone.

Disgusting! do not stay here unless you don't mind bloody sheets, insects and poor plumbing.

My wife's review that other sites refused to publish! The ONLY! Reason we stayed here and didn't go running away is because we traveled with our dog. This was the ONLY pet friendly "motel" in the area. I would have happily paid triple to not stay here! Upon entering our room we were greeted with a musty smell of old shoes complemented by left over rotting yard clippings. The carpet was of emerald green and had been pulled away from the walls and managed to bunch up like a toddlers bedding, making the ever obstacle from the door to bed something from American ninja warrior. As I lasted my bags by the door my husband walked to the bed to only be greeted by our own personnel welcoming guest of a GERMAN cockroach as it crawled across the bed. If you are not familiar with these they are of the dirtiest nature and if travelled back with you to your own home, cost hundreds to get rid of! My husband knowing me. Did not say anything until our second night, knowing Id run for dear life! I entered into the bathroom to be overwhelmed by the decreped fixtures that seemed to be replaced sometime. Never. I felt as if a shower would assist my 5 day nightmare I was about to endure. I turned on the shower to find nothing more than a stream of water only to be described as not more than someone peeing on my head. Oh this was going to be fun. I exited the shower with the cardboard/ sandpaper they provided for me to dry off with. Glad I didn't bring the exfoliating body wash.

The beds were comfy but the room has a funky smell. The pool was freezing cold both times ive stayed here. The hair dryer didnt work. The maids were rude to us. Check in lady was nice to me so I was pleased with her since I drove 7 hours to kentucky. But all in all okay hotel.

Nothing special. Internet is laggy. Rooms smells funky. Old TVs. Bed wasn't uncomfortable.

I was there for 3 nights and I would say this is great place for the money. The first room the A/C was broke but I got another room ASAP and it was clean and the Wi-Fi was fast. I do not eat free Hotel Breakfast anywhere I travel. But the coffee was good. The staff was very friendly. I read review about dirty rooms and bad carpets and things but that was not my experience. For the price this was a great room.

They gave us a room with blood on the bed. Low staffed so I had to get new bedding myself and put it on. Fire alarm went off a couple times during the night. Bar attached. Music was to loud.
