We had an awesome 10 day stay there. Our dog was treated as a guest, like us. So cool, you should stay here.

The staff are always very helpful. We are always treated as family — in a good way. A welcoming smile and all the amenities one needs for a great extended stay or just a stop along the way.

Most excellent service, warm and friendly staff. Go to Oak Harbor and stay at the Candlewood.

Great amenities in room. Clean and maintained building, staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything needed in room to cook and keep fed. The cupboard available had everything else we needed.

Wonderfully appointed suites with modern amenities. Rooms are clean and spacious and have excellent bathrooms and basic food storage and preparation facilities (full fridge with ice maker, range top, microwave, sink, as well as pots and pans, and dinnerware for two people. The staff are very helpful, from directions to recommendations for places to eat or activities to participate in. Best place to stay on Oak Harbor!

Not 1 complaint. Friendly staff, clean nice place and friendly to our 3rd (fur) child. We don't stay in hotels often but if definitely recommend this place! Thanks guys!

Free laundry and very nice gym. I would recommend this place for extended stays as rooms include kitchen and it has a room with food for purchase and you can borrow kitchen supplies, games and movies. I loved that housekeeping was by request too instead of everyday. It could have used a bigger dresser as we are 2 people but the current one was enough for us for the time we were here.

Most amazing and customer experience based hotel I have ever stayed at! We were able to book their last room. Two adults, one kiddo, only one queen bed. I asked if they had any roll out beds for the kiddo to sleep on and they did not. I said, no problem, shes 6, she can sleep on the floor lol. We check in, go to our room and they had went to the store and bought a brand new camping cot for her to sleep in! As we were heading out to our activities for the day we asked if they had actually gone out and bought that new today. They said they did because they didnt want the kiddo to have to sleep on the floor! Wow! A++ service. They also gave my daughter a few gifts from their front desk basket! Never been so taking care of at a hotel. Will be coming back and staying at any Candlewood we can. I cant say enough good things. I'm still amazed at their kindness. Thank you Candlewood for doing business the right way and going above and beyond!

Enjoyed our stay. The room was nicely layer out. I like how the free laundry is located in the fitness room so if you are inclined, you can burn calories while your laundry is done. They don't have an ice machine, but you can stop by the front desk where they will give you enough ice till the room refrigerator ice maker starts making ice. Overall, it was a very good stay.

The hotel looks fairly new inside and out. It has a decent exersize gym and free washers and driers for laundry. My room was average size with built in kitchen. Price is average for the area and type.

I love that I have a kitchen. The staff has been really nice. The Chinese restaurant right next to us delivers to us. If you're lazy it's perfect.

With greater than adequate rooms and superb staffing, Candlewood Suites is an excellent choice for travelers with business in Oak Harbor lasting anywhere from a few days to more than a week. Although this hotel lacks a pool, it more than makes up for this through it's extensive selection of movies for rent on site for free, free access to small kitchen appliances, and a general willingness to please it's customers. For anyone seeking a classy, unfettered hotel stay on the island, please consider Candlewood Suites as an option that will offer you a little more of the comforts that you take for granted within reach of all that the island has to offer.

Awesome after just 3 hours of checking in. Plus we got a bottle of wine free, complementary because of our 27th Wedding Anniversary.

My son and I traveled to Corpus Christi to see his father and spend some time together as a family. The room was very clean and big enough for us to have some space but not too big for our son to get into trouble. I really enjoyed being able to check out movies that we could all enjoy and also loved the pantry area full of snacks that you can buy when you need a little extra. The location was really great and all the staff was super friendly and nice. We have made Candlewood our go to place for visiting Daddy.

Very nice hotel. We are here for an extended weekend to attend a shipmate's retirement. Hotel has been emaculantly clean. Hotel staff very friendly an accommodating. They have a free modern laundry.

My family and I stayed here for about a month when we had our house worked on. Great rooms and love where they are located!

The check in was fast when we got in (it was pretty late) and the concierge was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall pretty quiet during the evening.

Candlewood Suites is the best hotel in Oak Harbor for biz travelers. Clean, modern rooms, and a friendly staff. Avoid Best Western during the winter months as the hallways aren't heated so the hotel feels very chilly. Lastly, Acorn Hotel isn't highly regarded by our company HR team so ignore the positive reviews you see on Yelp.

Love this place. Stayed over a month with my family. Excellent staff, clean and spacious suites, free laundromat in the hotel. Close to everything. Definitely recommend.

Great place to stay, very clean and the staff was amazing. Melissa the night manager was a rock star and did a fantastic job of taking care of our needs. We had a curve ball in our travel plans and she went above and beyond in customer service.

Great comfortable place to stay, between the San Juan Islands and Port Townsend/Olympic National Forest. I found this place randomly while looking for inexpensive but good quality hotels to stay in outside of Seattle while on honeymoon. Found this one randomly and am very happy with it as is my new bride. Great if you are staying in the area for a couple of days as you get a studio suite with kitchen (great to relax or chill in) and was a much needed place to relax in after a few high paced days in Seattle.
