Just checked into this motel today. Went out to dinner and when we returned to the room our TV would not turn on. So I went to the phone to call the desk but no cord connected the phone. After walking to the desk to report the non functioning items a maintenance person showed up. After twenty minutes he switched out the cable box then the TV itself with no luck. All he said was I needed to switch rooms.
Frustrated I walked back to the desk where the clerk was cold and indifferent to my situation. I tried to ask for another room on the ground floor but all he had was one on a higher floor with no elevator! I’m elderly and can’t lug suitcases up stairs. Frustrated still I asked for my money back. He required me to returned the key cards to him rather than leaving them in the room. Very disappointed! One out of five stars…

Their beds are heavenly. Super thick mattress and I’m going to sleep well tonight. Has the feel of a cabin retreat. I love that the tourists shops and restaurants are a two block walk. (Best location) The West Yellowstone entrance is just down the road. Gas station is across the street and a nice park as well. I scored a good deal!

Awesome place! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They pointed out all the great places to eat and things to do in town. Rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast was the highlight of my mornings. I never imagined I would miss a hotel room but I can say I loved staying here. We stayed for 7 nights with my 14yr old and 2yr old and they loved everything about it especially getting fresh cookies at night as a treat. It is within walking distance of anything in town. If you are coming to West Yellowstone this is the place to stay. Cannot wait to book our next trip! 5 stars for sure!

We had a wonderful stay here, wish we could have had a lot longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really comfortable rooms and a nice filling breakfast in the morning. Thank you for a wonderful Fathers day weekend! We will be back.

This is our second stay in two years. The reason we keep coming back to Crosswinds Inn is because of Jacquie and her OUTSTANDING customer service! Her friendliness and professional courtesy are FANTASTIC! We will always return to Crosswinds Inn and recommend friends as long as Jacquie is still there!

Awesome — price very reasonable with excellent sleeping comfort. Best we’ve ever had. Excellent room, microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer, iron & board, 9 course free breakfast, lots of hot water, & most of all had my favorite stress free bath products — spearmint eucalyptus Staff there was very nice. Lots of other free services. If we are ever back in West Yellowstone, MT — this will be place we stay… thank you.

The staff, the room, the food — all as good as it gets. Plus the staff knowledge of the area, where to go and what to look out for — excellent! Also big thanks to the owner's son for sharing where to see Moose, many thanks! Lisa and I got some awesome shots… we will be back for another visit from Australia sometime soon! :)

For the three nights we stayed, there was nothing special. The beds were comfortable enough, the pool was a good temperature, and breakfast was okay. Unfortunately, we had a room on the ground floor and the guests above us were noisy. Additionally, the shower drain was clogged and drained water slowly. It isn't the greatest feeling to be standing in dirty and murky water after hiking around Yellowstone all day. On the other hand, the first night there was an issue with the TV and when my dad called the front desk someone was sent over immediately. The ladies at the front desk when we checked in were also nice. There was a slot machine that gave nothing, but required a nickel if you wanted to try it. One of them gave me a coin so I could pull it. Overall, the experience was average.

We stayed at Crosswind Inn during our visit to Yellowstone National Park. The hotel is good and their breakfast has more variety than our hotels. They have both warm and cold breakfast, which is good. The staff are friendly. Overall, I would recommend this place.

For what it is, it is hard to beat: A basic hotel with all needed amenities, breakfast and pool included, right in the middle of downtown and right near the entrance of the park. Staff is superb, very helpful and professional! Rooms are ok, some are dated, however there was continued effort visible to renew all rooms during our stay. Breakfast is quite good. Thumbs up!

Best place to stay. Staff goes above and beyond for you. Very clean and spacious room. Some special touches like 2 suit case holders.

This was a great spot on the 4th of July. Our rooms faced the street the parade was on. We stayed two nights and I have no complaints. There were 8 of us and we enjoyed the location. You could walk to everything you needed. And the park is not even a mile down the road. The breakfast was good and perfect before heading out for the day. Rooms are clean. My only issue… price. Come on guys you know $250'ish a night is not ok. You're good. Not $250 good. Still had a great time.

The room is great and plenty of hot water. If we ever come back this way we will stay again.

Having never been to W. Yellowstone, I wasn't sure what to expect for $300+ a night. Let me say this is an updated motel that wouldn't go for more than $100 a night in most cities. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean but small, and the breakfast was good. The downside, it's a pricey motel, the wood floor of our room were filthy (we had black feet after walking barefoot on it) and for $300 a night, they should provide better towels (they are cheap, small, and thin).

My husband and I have stayed here two different occasions. The rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is hot or cold if that's what you want. They have something for everyone! We stay in the early summer so it is a bit pricey but affordable compared to other hotels in town. Not a bad drive to Yellowstone entrance! We will stay again!

Too expensive… poor quality breakfast. It was so comfortable the room though. Great personal treatment.

The room was very clean and up-to-date. I love that the soap and shampoo was from Bath and Body Works. The beds were extra comfortable. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a lot of variety.

Employees were great. Sad thing are the Orientals on the buses, they would not go to bed up all hours, and no respect for other guest.

Slept good lots of pillows.

Spotless, comfortable room with very cute and unique decor. Pool was super warm, which I loved since it was cold outside! The only minus s the pool is in a separate building very near but still a chilly walk outside. There is a changing room in 5he pool area. Breakfast was very good.

Rooms are good, breakfast is very good, very close to park entrance.

The room is just amazing! It's so nice and clean. Couldn't ask for anything better. I've stayed in other motels in West Yellowstone that are dumps compared to this. And this was the lowest priced in the town! I highly recommend Crosswinds you won't be disappointed.

Really nice place to stay on your way into Yellowstone or as a base for exploring Yellowstone. Very good breakfast, with make it yourself pancakes, bacon, biscuits, yogurt, fresh fruit, good scrambled eggs, and more. The kids loved the pool, which was great for burning off energy after a long car ride. It was very well located in town, just half a block from a big city park and several nice restaurants, including the Mexican restaurant in a bus which has good food. The room was large and attractive and well maintained and well-maintained.

It's a decent place to stay but WAY over priced. This is a prime example of price gouging at its best. Supply and demand dictates but management should be ashamed.

Great customer service. Loved the rooms it was a nice get away. The breakfast wasn't so good (I'm pregnant so maybe my taste buds just are picky) but I would recommend it to anyone who goes there.

Clean room, friendly staff. Pretty much exactly what you expect from a hotel room. Prices were very expensive, but I suppose that's what you deal with in a tourist town.

Very pricey for a hotel at Yellowstone West entrance. And there is nothing special other than the antique styled baths. Breakfast is alright but not that great.

Front desk people were helpful, impatient. Treated me like I was stupid. Room was fine, adequate for our needs. Clean room. Comfy bed. We crammed 2 adults and 2 toddlers in here.

The continental breakfast is decent, didn't rest that well, mattress was shot.

Decent Inn with clean and furnished rooms. Breakfast was also good. There is no campus for this inn just like most other inns in west Yellowstone.

I cannot thank you enough for our wonderful stay! We had three rooms and needed to have the wheelchair accessible room. The staff was very friendly and managed to get all of our rooms next to each other. The rooms are large and comfortable, and I love the decor! My grandkids loved the pool, and we all appreciated the nice breakfast. But the best part? My 3 year old granddaughter accidentally left her much loved stuffed bison behind. Anna found it and not only mailed it to her, she included a buddy so he wouldn't be lonely and a lovely card. Talk about going above and beyond — my granddaughter was ecstatic and we really appreciate a business that cares so much about a little girl. We will definitely be staying at Crosswinds Inn the next time we go to Yellowstone!

Yeah, good price, I dont care the breakfast good or not, but the internet is really slow.

I showed up late everything was close in town, the gentle man behind the counter re opened the continental breakfast so I can have something to eat after my long drive. Thank you.

Safe, great value, friendly front desk, room clean and nicer than I expected. Bed very comfy. Nice new TV. Would stay here again.
