That they inform their guest that the pool is closed due to no water. A few of us went to the pool in our bathing suits and got their I was dark and no water in the pool. We were very disappointed. other than that I give them a 5 🌟. Very nice place to go to get away.

Nice size rooms, the waiting for a call to be able to use the room is something else.

Could not sleep, … the people next to me was very noisy. Paid a lot for the room and then they wanted us to pay for breakfast? I will never stay again.

The hotel needs many upgrades and the hallways feel like a sauna. They need to reduce the prices of the room if not going to upgrade it.

The staff here is rude. If yiur not black they don't want to help you. We were treated very badly. Arrived a little early was told to come back later. To the girl no I need a room. She got my number said she would call when one came available. We went and had lunch came back and they were checking in a lady of color. When u asked if my room was ready I was told no. So I told them I was calling corporate then all of a sudden a room came available. It was a crappy room. The next morning was told I needed a mask but the customers of color did not. This is the most rude racist place I have ever been too. I need someone from this hotel or the corporate office to contact me.

I came here for work and my work dropped the ball but the lady at the front desk Dekeitsha Watly was nothing but help she calmed me down made me feel ok and even fed me breakfast. She couldn’t give me my room do to policy because my company booked the reservation under her own rewards card so I couldn’t get in without her card! Thank God for great employees like Dekeitsha! She was amazing and deserves a raise. She did all this while being slammed with checkout and helping with breakfast. She’s a Keeper and I hope holiday inn express rewards her becsuse she deserves it!

This hotel is extremely outdated.

Guest services was very accommodating nice friendly and professional.

I "lived" at this hotel for 8 days. The best part of my experience was the amazing staff. Everyone I encountered smiled, was professional, friendly and really went our of their way to accommodate my needs. Thank you for a great stay.

It was very nice to meet the staffing. Everything was fine and If I had to go get a hotel I would come here again and again.

So should of chose a different place, but it was late & money was tight. Terrible customer service & the 1st room we got the room was nasty. There were dead bed bug of the floor & in the bed. The sheets had nasty brown stains on them & pubic like hairs on the pillows. We showed pics of room to night manager & he gave us a half ass response to the disgusting pictures, like he knew it was f’d up. So we got a 2nd room. And had to sleep on top of the bed sheets under the soft brown blanket. Other bed in 2nd room was dirty also. Would recommend not staying here ever even if your finances are low. Won’t be coming back EVER. Would rather drive Extremely tired & be a risk to other on the road then stay here again.

I stay at motel6 (since the upgrades) often when I travel. This by far was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. Upon check in @2: 30 I was told my room was not yet ready. Fine with me im early and I have things to do so I told the manager I had no problem waiting. 5 mins later he handed me keys and I proceeded to my room. I noticed all the nice rooms near the office, but as I started to get closer to my room I noticed the condition of the property was not kept up in the back portion. Also I noticed all of the Black guest are huddled in this one run down back area of the motel. I hesitated to walk into the room and sure enough, my fears were warranted. This room was so dirty, dead bugs in the windows, food on microwave and fridge, cig burns on the bed, old towels from before the upgrades, hairs everywhere. And the smell was enough to make you vomit! After letting the manager know that this was unexceptionable, I was given a proper room near the front office. So to sum it up The management is Racist and must think all Black people are accustom to living in Filth and squalor or that Black people will ruin the new rooms. I will never book this place again. And their pool didn't pass inspection so that was closed as well.

No stars, the worst motel 6 I've ever stayed in. We got two rooms the first one had pee all on the toilet and old cups left behind second room had all open used soap bars and dirty shower we where able to change one room witch was better but not the best. I would never stay here again nor recommend it. We where offered nothing for our troubles. It made me click one star to post.

The room was clean and spacious. Great location. Price was affordable. I will be visiting them again soon. I just request cleaner face and body towels.

Very Fussy people that live here allow their children to be loud all day! Night shift staff amazing! The morning staff very rude also I believe they let the community harrass hard working paying customers. You can't walk outside without people in the community trying to start a fight with you! Typical People of Atlanta rudeness employees that will not allow you to sleep. This motel have roaches crawling around the walls, uneven floors and beds are breaking down. My self was woken up only 2 hours of sleep from a long day of work by one of the workers POWER WASHING THE DOOR! If I was walking out to go to work I would have been soak by the employee POWER WASHING the whole door purposely. BBB should be reported about this business.

Surprisingly decent. Clean. Nice water pressure from the shower. Fridge. Microwave. Only complaint would be the sheets/blankets don't breathe too well, but that's about it.

Surprisingly nice for a motel and one that's ok the cheaper side. The fridge in the room does not work and has not been replaced yet. I have to say though, I was pleasantly surprised. So far.

Simply disgusting. Floors were falling apart. Stains on the bed and blankets. The towels were dirty. There was a layer a dirt and dust so thick over the television that when I blew on it, a cloud of dust formed. There were dips in the floor that when I stepped on it, the floor sunk in. The bed was so old and uncomfortable that I could feel the springs in the bed. There was continual drug use all around the property. It was disgusting. And that was the second room they put me in. The first room was even worse. The only reason I stayed was because of how late it was. I am seriously considering filing a complaint with the health department. I have never seen a hotel that was that horrid. That place should be condemned and the police need to be notified of the prostitution and drugs that are being trafficked through there.

I stayed in room 204 at the Union City location on flat Shoals Road. The floor in front of the sink is about to fall ln… The sheets were dirty! The towels were dirty! The air conditioning unit was full of dust! And the floor had not been swept or mopped in weeks! However, the leasing customer service agent was very friendly and attentive. The rooms need desperate Attention and the property is in need of a facelift.

Terrible service. Constantly given the run around when trying to get a room even tho I made a reservation (arrived around 8am, was told to come back at 12 and still didn’t get a room until after 2). Room was barely livable. Refrigerator and microwave were dirty. So were the bed sheets. Plumbing problems with the sink. Bathroom toilet and floor dirty.

It was filthy. Floors walls broken up furniture Hair balls on the floor. Stained bedspreads. Worse place I ever stayed. Would appreciate a refund.

I made my reservation for 3/21/18 in February. On 3/23, I called and let them know that my Greyhound bus would arrive at 3:45am Wed 3/21, and will I be able to check in at that time. I was assured that it would be no problem and someone would be there to check me in. When I arrived, the night Mgr. Said no vacancies, turned on his exaggerated Indian accent, and insisted that I leave. I called the Union City Police (case # 18-002725), they said they couldn't do anything and I would have to sit in the "Waffle House" restaurant for the next 6 hours. I expect to be reimbursed for the Wed stay. I complained to the Motel 6 headquarters (Incident # 137 2817) Needless to say, I am furious over this incident and have every plan to continue to pursue this until I get a reimbursement for the night/morning I had to spend in the restaurant like a homeless bum.

Too bad you can't give negative stars. This place is so bad that the rats and roaches won't stay here. I've stayed in some bad places, but this is the worst I've ever seen! Stains on the bed sheets, spread and pillows. The walls were covered with liquid stains and other unknown substances. There were ashes all over the table and counters, as well as on the bathroom door mixed with hair. There were pubic hairs all over the toilet, shower curtain, and tub. The entire shower and toilet appeared to have not been cleaned in weeks! Outlets were exposed, the top of the microwave was covered with ashes and dirt, the lap cover was stained with something brown, the towels were not even folded and were just tossed on the counter, there was a gap about and inch and a half wide under the door, and there was a white powdery substance in the AC unit… THIS PLACE SHOULD BE BURNED TO THE GROUND IMMEDIATELY!

The staff was good and not worth the 1 star. The hotel itself was fully worth 0 stars. It needs a total remodel. The bathroom door was falling apart the bed felt like it was from 1970 and the floor was uneven and soft in some spots. Again the staff was friendly!

It was just we needed while traveling… a resting place that was clean no extra stuff to pay for and pet friendly. Just don't get a room near the highway side of the hotel. It was so noisey. That was my only problem with this place. Other than that I have found my pit stop for rest when I am traveling with my pets traveling past ATL.

It was kinda loud outside at first but the rooms was great and the beds were very cozy. I'd go there again but it's not a quite environment.

Don't understand why there are hardwood floors. The beds are old school springs. The only good thing was the water pressure.

Customer services was this Motel 6 focus. Clean and secure. I stand three nights and would stay there again. I dropped my coffee in my room. The next day the the cleaning staff washed my floor and it was all cleaned when I got back to my room. Pet friendly with trash cans available throughout their property.

Other than local prostitutes tricking out if this property and few drug attics around. I checked in at night. What I first noticed was the staff security on property. (Very nice) it's quiet property is fenced and that makes me feel better, being that the woods and trees are close. The room size is good I have no complaints. The bathroom was clean. They give a good amount of towels soap and rags. Very nice touch. The flatscreen is awesome it's 32 inches wish it was bigger. I have paid more and have gotten worse. They have HBO and many more channels. They have a fridge and microwave in the room. I am very satisfied with the number of great amenities for $50 a night. I can't complain this place you get what you pay for. It's looks rough on the outside, but great in your own room. Before I forget the pool is clean and looks nice.

Over all the room was OK since it was short notice of my flight cancelation. The bathroom floor was crack and unlevel, toilet seat loose move doing each use. How ever I was happy to get a vacancy doing that winter snow storm. Got no sleep the last night in because the neighbors next door were having a domestic fight and sound they were coming thru the wall. Had to call the front desk.

The room was dirty, the floors had not been cleaned. There were stains on the blankets and when I requested the sheets and blankets be changed I was told they have no access to linen after 4pm and I was given towels. This was the worst Motel 6 I have ever been to. It felt like I was at a pay by the hour motel. Motel 6 is usually great and clean. We will never come back to this Motel 6. There was a group of us that rented 3 rooms due to our job in the area and none of us will ever come back. This experience makes me leary of Motel 6 period. I had no idea that this was acceptable practices for this company. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

I asked for no cleaning staff til after we left. They remembered, but gav us more tp and towels, when my son asked at the office. I paid 1.25 for shampoo in the vending machine. It had 2 packets. I assumed I would have to use both to get my hair clean. One was plenty and I have saved the other for another trip. No complaints.

I like where it is located. Price point was very reasonable. Food, gas and highway accessible. The first room assigned was not clean — — rm 234. Then we were assigned room 235, the coverlets had grease stains and spots. They need to do a better job cleaning room and make sure linens clean and not wrinkled. Staff was courteous and heard my concerns.

Pretty decent hotel, fair price. My room was clean. Waffle house and gas station right next door. I like this hotel and have stayed here a few times. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS… The Indian guy, with all the rings on his fingers, at the front desk is a JERK. I was coming to pay to stay a another day he was so rude to me, I almost changed my mind about staying AND I'M A RETURNING CUSTOMER. With his attitude this hotel will lose business get rid of him!

Rooms were clean and stocked. I love that there was Direct TV to watch. Mainly needed a safe place to stop at before I drove all the way back home after a business related trip. Door was hard to open but with help from the front desk we were able to get in. Staff was very nice.

The staff is rude, overnight. I don't know what's going on, but they're quick to hang-up the phone in your face before you're done asking questions about the hotel. It happened twice. I doubt the hotel is overwhelmingly busy at 1:16 am. Everything slows down at night. If they're this rude before I'm staying, it has me 2nd-guessing if I should even spend my $ here. Just by the poor attitude, I won't be staying. You don't just treat customers or potential customers any kind of way and expect them to pay. It's not like anything free is being given out. Check your attitudes, Motel 6 Union City employees.

The staff was wonderful, but the clientele was sketchy and there was very loud yelling and loud music at 1am. I thought I was about to hear gunshots the way people were acting in the parking lot. I realize you cannot control who rents, but maybe security in the overnight hours might solve that issue. The room was very clean and better than I expected for the price.

I'm staying here because my flight out of Atlanta cancelled until morning and everything else is booked on Labor Day weekend. I don't trust the beds, so I got some Lysol spray and a cheap throw blanket to sleep on. The bathroom looks like it has been half-assed cleaned and there is a lot of noise from outside, especially the neighbor's car alarm. Next time I have a flight out of Atlanta, I'll bring a tent just in case, and pitch it right off the Interstate. Be just as restful as this.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean, considering this is a very old property. Morning coffee but no breakfast. There was no extra charge for dogs and since I was in town for a dog show with two dogs, that was a big plus to me. Other places wanted $10.00-$25.00 per nite per dog extra! There was an area for dogs to potty with trash receptacles. My only complaint is a neighbor who was very loud late at night (screaming etc. ) and another that was creating a disturbance during the day. Neither were aggressive to other guests, but still unpleasant. There is supposedly a note security guard but he must have been ignoring the commotion!

The location of the hotel was excellent for the trip that I had to take the next afternoon. I was not expecting much and the price was decent for the area and the close proximity to the airport. Nice clean room and good staff.

Stay away! By far the most dilapidated room I have ever stayed in. Thank God it was not an overnight stay… I did not sleep in these beds but they were filthy. The front desk staff was nice but that is the only good thing I have to say about this location. Please spend a few more dollars and get something better. I'm usually not one to complain but I was very uncomfortable and checked out as soon as I could.

Its ok for the price. The outside is waaayyy worse then the inside!

I stayed in room 218. The room stunk. The air conditioner cover was broken. When we informed the attendant at the front desk, he said he was aware that the air conditioner cover was broken and that they did not intend to fix it as it was "safe". I have stayed in several other Motel 6 hotels and have always been overall pleased by the quality of the staff, and the cleanliness of the hotels. This hotel was a sore disappointment. I would NEVER stay there again.

Unbelievably clean I check beds from the mattress to each in every sheet & there are no stains no signs of bugs, spacious, convenient to highway clear cable tv… I'm in the front so it's pretty quiet great room for the price… Only reason it's not 5 star is because of course it's not luxury but most defintely get your money worth.

Nice basic budget motel. Staff was welcoming and understanding. For the most part it is big free. You get what you pay for, beds we're wore in, counter tops weren't really clean bathroom & shower was filthy but for the most part I saw no bugs and that's the biggest concern.

Perfect place for me and my German Shepherd! They were nice and welcoming, even complemented me on my dog! And Dog-Lovers know, it's all about my dog! In addition the room was clean and had everything we needed! They even called to make sure we didn't need everything else. Easy drive to the Atlanta airport and PetSmart! For $50 for two people and a dog, you can't beat this place and the nice people!

Not the best area of town but its location felt safe enough. The motel was cleaner than some I have stayed at and had some updates such as a LCD TV and bowed shower curtain. My only complain is the non-adjustable shower head, which had so much pressure it was almost like showering with a fire hose. But that is far better than no pressure at all and the water temperature was consistent and as warm as you might want it to be. The bed was comfortable enough but had light blankets. Normally this would not be a problem but Atlanta was experiencing unusual cold and setting the heater to just the right temperature just was not possible. On my last night there we had a power outage the lasted to 1:30 AM. The power outage was because of the ice storm so nothing the motel could do about it, but having no heat in the room meant that you had to rely of the bed blankets more than normal. For the price of the room I would stay there again when on a tight budget.

Now that Motel6 offers wireless, they are worth another look. This particular motel is a diamond in the rough. It's clean, quiet and safe, and the value is absolutely outstanding. If there were only shampoo packets in the rooms and bigger towels it might have garnered 5 stars.
