The hotel is currently under renovation so, I'm sure it's going to be even better of a stay when it comes to comfort. Customer Service is what brings and keeps customers. However, my issue was the service provided.
It started at check-in. My family arrived around 1 or 2am. Prior to arriving I called approximately 3 times, no answer. When we walked in no one was at the desk, but you could hear someone in a deep sleep snoring.
Myhusband and I knocked and banged for their atten…tion. Finally after over 5 minutes of yelling and banging to wake her, she comes from the back and apologized. My husband sarcastically asked if she had a good sleep and she went on to tell us she's pregnant and tired.
We asked about our discounted corporate rate, since my brother in law had to walk in and make the reservation for us earlier that day, I was quoted 1 price and charged another.
The next day around check out I called the front desk to ask to extend for another night. No answer. When I walked downstairs, once again no one at the desk, no one around.
So I went back to my room to file a complaint.
The manager later called me and ranted on, via voicemail and when we spoke, about things that were not my concerns and then began to tell me that her front desk person, Julie, wasnt sleep, because that's she'd told the Manager, Tammy.

Updated rooms and nice amenities. What threw me into a 5 star rating though was breakfast. The scrambled eggs were actually from eggs and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The hostess was also extremely courteous and professional. Thank you!

Rooms are recently remodeled and nice. Internet on the 4th floor didnt work well at all hope this will be fixed once the renovation are done.

The hotel was nice but the overall experience was unprofessional to say the least. My family and I stayed for a family reunion. The rate that was quoted was not honored. When asked to speak with management I was told they didn't work on weekends really! I also called several times no person to resolve this issue. How can you over charge someone and think that's ok and do not follow up to insure great customer service. Very disappointed!

I normally stay at Holiday Inn Express every where I travel. I want to first say I was upset with this location in Douglas, GA because my card was over charged but it was corrected once I showed my confirmation e-mail so please hang on to your confirmation e-mails. Secondly, it was a family reunion going on and they were loud. I do not plan on returning to this hotel as much as I love Holiday Inn Express at this location because they’ve turned me off. I drove from Chicago to Georgia and this happened so I will try the Hampton or Fairfield Inn & Suites next time I am in Georgia…

Nice curtious staff. Great location, very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Clean rooms! Would rather have an outdoor pool though.

Most friendly greeting. Room was clean, cool, bath well stocked and clean. Continental breakfast well stocked. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, etc. No bacon. Lots of muffins, etc. Parking easy and plentuful.

Very clean. Friendly front desk staff know the area and were able to direct us to a great place for dinner. Spotless rooms and a great nights sleep!

Staff nice, rooms ok, no fan in the bathroom to filter out everyone around me smoking in the bathroom of their non smoking rooms. So my non smoking room smells like weed and cigarettes. That alone will make sure I never come back.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable atmosphere and lighting. We stayed in a double suite room. There was only 1 mirror, and it was in the bathroom. The mirror never fogged up when you showered, though. The pool is indoors and heated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The 4th floor was recently renovated. Very nicely done! The pillows are labeled as being "soft" or "firm". Very clean room. In room 405, the hot water and cold water are backwards in the shower. Full breakfast available.

The bed was super comfortable and the staff was great. The room was excellent overall and I'll definitely recommend to anyone.

Exactly what you would expect from a holiday inn. Good for passing through, but nothing special. Currently undergoing renovations.

We spend our evacuation from Hurricane Irma at this hotel and the staff was extremely courteous, accommodating, and worked diligently to keep everyone comfortable. The rooms here are large, clean and inviting. I sincerely appreciate all they did for us evacuees even when many of them had issues at their own homes from the storm.

I stayed here from 8 September through 13 September 2017 because I had to evacuate as a result of Hurricane Irma. They waived the no dog policy which was wonderful. They provided a wonderful hot breakfast every morning. They had internet. They cleaned rooms rooms everyday. They were at capacity and and still were above and beyond.

This hotel was nice. We enjoyed our stay. Clean pool, very nice employees, and good location. The only downside was the breakfast. There were a lot of options. However, the taste of the eggs/omelette and pancakes was a no for me. Maybe I'm just picky. Overall, I really liked this hotel.

It was during graduation, there wasn't a room in town every motel was full — and they managed to find me a room, it was clean and comfortable, it cost me a bit more then I wanted to pay but it was well worth it!

Clean hotel. Comfortable beds. The drains for the sink and shower smelled like they were connected to the sewer though.

The hotel was good overall. The bed was a little stiff and uncomfortable, but overall, it was good. Friendly staff + near the restaurants/shopping in Douglas. Would recommend for sure.
