I would only recommend this hotel to an enemy. We arrived at 6:30 pm and our room was still not ready. No explanation. We were told it would be just a minute. 15 minutes later I asked about it since we had dinner reservations. I was told by the front desk not to worry, the restaurant was close and I didn't need to change clothes. We finally got a key. When we got upstairs house cleaning was still in on our room. It took another 15 minutes to get our luggage. There is a club next door that plays loud music until 2am. Even from the 9th floor you can hear the music. Hard to sleep with pounding music coming into your room. Housekeeping usually came fairly late in the afternoon and only replaced some of the towels. One day we got new towels but no hand towels or wash cloths. The valet lost our car. They finally found it. Unfortunately the car they found was not ours. Our truck was parked on the street instead of the parking garage. When they finally got it to us it was covered in tree sap and we had to immediately take it for a carwash. (they charge $30/day for valet). I complained about our overall stay. I got no apologies. I was told a manager would contact me but I still have not heard from anyone.

Nice hotel. Great location if you want to stay in Buckhead, walkable to Lenox mall. However hotel is a little older, beds are uncomfortable and parking is $30 a night.

Went to the Palm Atlanta for dinner and drinks. Expensive, but well worth the price. Fantastic food, good choice of wines and a lovely ambience. Would definitely recommend this place.

I stayed at the Westin Buckhead July 27 — July 29, my stay was less than great to say the least. What was suppose to be my birthday trip turned into a disaster. My friend awoke to bed bugs literally crawling on her pillow! We informed the front desk of this issue they sent someone to come look and just offered to switch rooms like it was nothing no apology was given nor refund. My friend is now having to visit urgent care due to being bitten multiple times. This is ridiculous on a hotel brand that is held to such a high standard. I’ve called to try to speak to a manager about the issue just so conveniently he is out the office.

This hotel is top notch. Great bar and the room is comfortable and quiet. The hotel is close to shopping and other great bars in the area. The restaurant has a wonderful menu with great chefs. I have stayed at this hotel and have had clients have events their and everything has always gone smoothly. Great place in Atlanta to stay.

The hotel was a great view. It was very pricey, but didn't seem to stand up to the image. The bathrooms were not cleaned for over 24 hours. The response was that they were short staffed. We had over 200 people there for 3 days. They should have had more staff added for that weekend. Getting our parking tickets validated at a discount was a nightmare — only one staff member for 200 people daily. And I noticed the regular parking prices was outrageous if you were staying at the hotel. So you pay an arm and a leg for the room; then turn around and give them your neck for parking each day. What a joke!

Love the Westin! Best beds and customer service. Rooms are always clean. They could stand for newer microwaves. Although they are a little outdated in the bathrooms, I still enjoyed my stay.

Very nice and clean. Modern and upscale. Lots of amenities made attending an all-day event comfortable! The staff was extremely courteous and friendly as well!

Spacious rooms. The location is so convenient. Walking distance between the mall and so many restaurants. Fantastic how they have workout clothes for “rent”. Very well maintained Westin property.

Stayed here for 3 nights. It's a nice hotel. Location is very good. The Lenox Mall is just a 5 mins walk. It's not the tallest building in the area but has some good city views. The Lobby is beautiful and the Restaurant bar offers pretty wide variety of food and drinks. There are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity. If needed, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Great location. The Saturday night before Easter there was a problem with our phoned in reservation. I have to report… Marquese was there at nearly midnight working the front desk and he got every thing seamlessly worked out. He told us later it was his first night on the job… never knew!

We were very disappointed. We booked and paid for our room in advance, drive 8.5 hours and they did not have our room. They double booked. We paid for a double bed, and had to settle for a king bed with 2 kids with us. This suppose to be a top class hotel, they did not try to do anything for the inconvenience, not even a simple jester of picking up the parking tab. Wow.

Nice area and facilities. Parking is a little high but that just comes with Buckhead. Rooms very nice only complaint is bad water pressure in the shower. Overall would recommend!

This place is beautifully done. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was large enough so we did not feel crowded. I will definitely be back if even for an in town staycation.

Arrived to the hotel to be told the room we had already paid for was all full and I would have to pay extra bc there was a wedding going on. Paid for valet parking however we waited over an hour only to have the valet complain bc someone didn’t show up to work. Was given a free drink coupon only to be told by the bar it was no good. Can not get a manager to get in touch with me. The hotel was nice but dirty, employees not friendly and not happy at all with all the extra charges I was charged.

We reserved via Priceline, so we got a good deal on the price of the room. It was my wife and I 10th year anniversary. Our room was on the 16 floor with a nice view. The hallway light by the closet didn't work, but everything else was amazing and super clean. The room service breakfast was delicious, but the price for valet parking was horrific $39 a night! But the valet guys got our car quick each time and was very attentive to us (opening doors and helping is in and out). Very polite staff, wouldn't mind staying there again!.

Nice hotel. Was there for a conference. Had to call 2 days in a row before we finally got the maids to come clean out room and change out the towels. Other than that the hotel was clean and there were a lot of great places to eat and shop right there around the hotel!

They took my vehicle after I had a session with a client for only 1 hour, client said to charge their room, now they won't return my car, this is very unprofessional and now I am late for my next appointment, I am as calm and professional but it is going on 3 hours, about to call police.

We had our son's 17th birthday weekend gateway w/friends here. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. LISA at the front desk should be cloned for all Starwood locations! The rooms (2 adjoining) were very clean nice & spacious enough. Nice accommodations (great indoor heated pool). Prime location for shopping, dining and entertainment. Great stay! Highly recommend.

I attended a wedding there recently and I thought the place was nicely managed. Staff seems very attentive to all the guests. Also the place looks very clean. Valet parking service was great as well.

We were told that the view from the Sun Dial (the bar on one of the upper floors) was incredible and when we arrived there we were not disappointed. The view from the bar is absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic photo opportunity.

Friendly staff remembered me from a previous visit. Drinks were strong and served fast. Excellent!

The guestrooms are older but clean, the bathrooms could use a renovation, stocked with the standard white tea and aloe scented toiletries, and our double room had a single bathrobe but no slippers. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the second floor lobby is inviting, and the location is adjacent to a highish-end shopping mall (there's a Neiman Marcus).

Excellent stay, stellar service. Regie at the front desk is THE BEST! Words cannot express how great Reginald is. Best in class customer service and because of him I’ll come again. Checked in on 10/26 and he gave excellent tips on where to visit, food, always addressed every request in a friendly yet professional attitude. Room was great, clean, comfortable. We didn’t like the restaurant on site and thought the food was mediocre but that’s ok because there are lots of nice restaurants around. Will definitely stay at the Westin Buckhead again.

We are locals, attending an event, but spending the night. Arrived at 4pm for a 5pm event. Waited in line at registration until 4:30, at which point we were told there were no available rooms. They gave us access to the gym to change into our clothes for the event. We left a phone number to be called when a room was available. No offer was made to hold our bags, so we had to keep them with us during the event, a significant inconvenience. We never received the phone call regarding our room readiness. At 6:30pm, we ran into the person in line behind us (from 4:30pm) and found that she got her room upon checking in. We brought ourselves and our luggage (without the benefit of a call) to the desk at 6:30pm and were promptly given a room. Management at the hotel and the staff, in general, seemed to have no sense of urgency in handling the line of ~50 guests waiting to check in. With the price I paid for this room (almost $200), plus the $29 to self-park my car and $6.50 for a bag of chips and some M&Ms (late night snack), I felt as though the service and the experience should have been better. The room was nice and comfortable, I have no complaints about it. I would not choose to stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it to friends or family. An offer of a refund for the parking fee would have made me feel less “gouged, ” but no such offer was made.

Great place for a business function. The staff was exceptional, humorous, and accommodating. The parking was a little hefty … I was there for a business function and had to get there early for seating so I was there for less than 9 hours but had to paid the full $29 overnight rate. Right next to the mall which is great. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance also. Though the food there was pretty good.

Absolutely amazing experience! I was greeted by Markese who made feel like family from the very beginning. Excellent customer service from check in to check out. I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday there and they helped his birthday wishes come true. I will definitely be back again.

Upscale hotel in the middle of Buckhead. I love the smells of Westin hotel. You can go anywhere in the world and the soap smells the same. Walk in to the lobby and a welcoming scent greets you. It is inviting and let's you know your sleep is going to be quality. Buckhead Westin is no different, and being right next to lenox center has it's advantages as shopping and entertainment options are within walking distance.

I did not stay as a guest, only attended a conference held in their conference rooms, but I have to say that overall I was impressed. The room was incredibly spacious, witb plenty of seating for well over a hundred people, and the acoustics were phenomenal, I never felt like I was struggling to hear. There was ample parking in the attached parking garage, with valet available if you wished. The conference room was clean, as well as the bathrooms. Overall a very pleasant day, and I would definitely consider them in the future for an event of my own.

The rooms are fine. Nothing super great about the place. I have had much better experience in lower rated places. Prepare to be nickel and dimed, you don't even get free Wi-Fi.

Simply Awesome! Room was great, front desk was very helpful in finding delish meals, and my daughters and wife loved, loved, loved the amazing high end shopping at Lenox Mall — just steps away!

Came here for a convention. The hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. Don't hesitate to ask the front desk if Wi-Fi is included in your room price. For me, you purchased it and then it was refunded off your bill when you checkout. Overall my stay was nice, but I wish it was a bit cheaper.

This is a nice property in a good location. The rooms are in good condition. This is the only Westin I've been to (in the US) with a lounge (for those with access). There are stores and restaurants in walking distance. I would avoid the Palm restaurant in the lobby.

Nice spacious rooms, great and super comfortable beds. Water pressure in the showers were sub par for such an expensive hotel. Staff was slightly abrasive and at times made me feel as if I were being a burden to them and that to assist me would be greatly inconveniencing to them.

Literally the best experience from a hotel that I have had in a while. The valet staff made us feel at home right when we stepped out of the car and the front desk staff was so friendly super attentive and even though we arrived around 9 at night she found us a better room on a higher floor with a view and gave us access to the executive lounge for complimentary breakfast! We booked through Priceline so this was even more of a shock that we were being treated so well. The bathrooms were a great size and the complimentary breakfast was pretty decent and the security of the elevators I loved! The location was perfect right beside Lenox mall so my boyfriend and I were able to walk over to The Cheesecake Factory with no problem. This hotel knows how to do customer service and I'll definitely be back! Hats off to the Westin Buckhead!

If I could give no stars, I most definitely would. The hotel is very clean and fresh feeling. But from the moment I stepped into that building it was experiencing the W, only worse. So someone booked the reservation for me as a gift for hard times. I walked in and headed for the concierges desk. I was rudely acknowledged by not one but three extremely nasty kids… Great I have 20 year olds acting like snobs and speaking down to me. Now mind you I'm having quite the bit of a personal situation going on and I'm sure they can sense the sadness and stress on my face and in my voice. I needed an electronic CC authorization form I was informed I couldn't do that when I asked why the guy said with an attitude head shake teeth sucking and all "ummm because it's 48 hours in advance to your check in time. " — I say "sorry didn't know that I booked in a rush at 4am in the middle of a crisis, what can I do for you, is there anything or anyone who can possibly help? " — he sneers and gives a half mocking guffaw and says "guess you gonna have to get someone to wire you the money for you, don't know what to tell you… " He walks away all sassy and disappears. — 5 hours I spent in that lobby. 5 hours. I finally had someone send the form to me only for me to fill it out 15 times before it going through. Now I'm so annoyed I get on the phone with Spg and I'm told "let's do something for you". — ha what a joke.

First the positives: Great Location and hotel is well maintained. As a Platinum SPG, I stay almost 100 nights at year at Starwood properties. This property is well below average. The first two nights of our stay we were unable to get to sleep until after 1am due to the noise in adjacent rooms. This is not acceptable for a Westin. Security did take care of the situation, but only after multiple telephone calls to the front desk. Several calls to the front desk took over 30 rings to get someone to answer. Again, not acceptable. Management was indifferent when we brought this to their attention. We were told that on the weekends, no actual management was onsite, only supervisors. We were also told that we could not leave a message for the hotel manager, but rather we needed to email him. When we asked for his business card, we were told that they were not supposed to give those to guests, but they could write down his email address for us. Other areas that need attention are room cleanliness and front desk wait times. We spent an unusual amount of time waiting at the front desk while one or two staff helped customers and three or more stood behind the counter an visited. Given the number of problems we had on this and prior visits, we will choose a different hotel next time we are in this area.

I hated our entire experience with this hotel. We booked this hotel for a birthday weekend 2 weeks in advance (prepaid) and when we arrived to check in, they gave our room away! I was infuriated to know this because that was the whole point of reserving and paying for it in advance! We arrived early in the a. M. We were driving all day and hadn't had any sleep. They were out of rooms of course. We had requested a high up floor so that we would get a great view that was all we wanted. The receptionist was not helpful at all and there was no manager on duty at the time. We we asked if we wanted to stay at a hotel nearby and then move back to their rooms when available. That is such an inconvenience I do not know why they suggest that. The staff did not own up to the mistake they made giving our room away! On top of that, we got charged anyway for both nights we booked. Keep in mind we did not stay there because everything was messed up. We ended up staying somewhere else. We had asked for a refund while we where there talking to the receptionist. She gave us a refund statement and we still got charged. This happened recently and I still haven't heard from the hotel to correct their mistakes. Worst experience ever. I expected much more professionalism from them but was highly dissatisfied.

" that hangs out with the Super Lightweight Boxing Champion here at the Westin of Buckhead. We only stayed one night a this super fabulous hotel located near the Lenox mall and that's all it took to get me to want re-visit this place and stay again. The bartenders are great and can really make a good range of mix drinks. Our room was a 2 Queen sized beds with a very spacious bathroom and very modern and up to date. Very impressed with the leaf shaped soap, that's what really got my attention. As I woke up at 6:45 am I also had the great opportunity to check out the early Friday morning sunrise view of the city. Great stay!

The View is Great. But if you Are a shower Fan Look no further. Best water pressure, and duel head, hand held shower options. I wasnt exspecting it. But now I compare every hotel shower to it.

This hotel was pretty solid. It was in a great location, with restaurants in walking distance. Service was alright, took some time for them to address a problem. Aside from that they are friendly and courteous. I stayed two nights and enjoyed it. It was what I expect from a hotel of this level. If you can find a deal, stay here.

I attended a seminar here. Nice atmosphere, good in general. Coffee bar was ridiculously understaffed and a long impatient line formed while the poor girl tried to keep it together. Weird and inconvenient that there is no source of soft drinks outside the lobby. Average, as upscale hotels go.

I went there for a conference. It was amazingly beautiful. The front desk people were kind and directed me to my location. When I was leaving the I was politely greeted by the staff. Great experience!

The Westin was a very clean hotel and very polite staff. I was there for a conference and everything was in great shape. My only complaint would be the lack of information regarding parking fees. Parking in the hotel parking lot ran me $15 a day.

Westin Buckhead, you have exceeded my expectations on so many levels. I am impressed. It's very rare to find a hotel that looks after the little things for their guests. Our entire family had the most incredible weekend and we will absolutely stay at the Westin Buckhead every time we visit Atlanta. Thank you, Quentin, the manager on duty tonight, for making my daughters night by helping us with a big bowl of sorbet. You and your entire staff deserve a round of applause. Congratulations on an outstanding team delivering top notch customer service.

When my friends come to visit Atlanta, I usually recommend this hotel for their stay. Everything is within walking distance (Lenox Mall, Whiskey Blue, Tootsies) and the decor is beautiful. Recently, my friend hosted an all-girls "staycation" here and we were upgraded to the 19th floor. The views were beautiful and the staff was so pleasant and accommodating. We'll definitely be back! The only drawback is the horrid traffic on Peachtree Road and the lack of self-parking (which causes a major backup at valet).

Beautiful hotel with great service.

The bed was okay, certainly not up to expectations of a "heavenly bed". No amenities whatsoever in the room other than coffee. No mini bar, no bath toiletries, no robe and charged for Wi-Fi. Room service is very expensive. Thee room was clean and large. I will probably opt for another hotel next time, which is next month, as it's just not worth the money.

Subpar house keeping, nickel and dime fees for common amenities (who charges extra for Wi-Fi anymore? ), astronomical drink prices at the bar ($18 for one beer and a small cocktail), boring rooms, tiny mini fridge. Too expensive for what it is.

Had been so looking forward to a Westin experience. The bellman took my suitcase out of the cab and then disappeared. Got up to the registration desk and the man assisting me was more concerned with the two gentlemen who were checking in with a different Westin registation person next to me. He actually stopped working on getting me registered and into my room in order to take notes for what dinner reservation these other two guests were looking for. He never explained anything about the hotel and its services — just handed me my keys and said thank you. Eventually figured out how the elevators worked on my own. I got up to my room and it had two double beds instead of a king bed. Called the service number who apologized and offered to send up a glass of wine. Next day — room was made up, but the coffee cups were not replaced. Also, discovered that the electric outlets at the desk did not work. Only effective electric outlents were in the bathroom. Nothing by side of bed or anywhere else. The shades on the lamps were torn and worn. Just not impressed. Had so much better service and accomodations at so many other locations that I have stayed at across the U. S. Why is it I can stay at very inexpensive hotels and have free Wi-Fi, but stay at the Westin and my company has to pay for it? Overall — not impressed. Not sure I will ever stay at a Westin again.

While I enjoyed my stay at the Westin Buckhead and loved the refreshing fresh water with lemon and cucumber each day, I found my experience after the stay to be the worst of any hotel I ever stayed in. For perspective, I left 3 items of clothing in the room that were important to me and notified the hotel of this that evening. While, it was my fault to leave them, every hotel has a responsibility to return lost items or compensate the guest for them under fair and reasonable circumstances. These were left in a drawer unused under the Television. While everyone promptly returned my emails and provided kind words that they would help, the fact is that after 11 weeks I was told by an insurance company, Zurich, that there was no proof that an employee stole the clothing after investigation and therefore I am not entitled to anything. The last thing I wanted was to incarcerate some poor employee, let alone get reimbursed at someone's guilt. Despite fully documented emails, they assume, I made all this up. We were talking about $250 after a 3 night stay. I am a preferred Starwood member but am disappointed that so much of my time and energy resulted in proving that the customer is wrong.
