The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and unfriendly that night. I'd just buried my father that day and my flight was delayed. I was stuck, having a bad day already. But in no way would I ever take my bad day out on a complete stranger who was in no way responsible for it. Delta sent to this place. They will hear from me. First, no greeting, no smile, no eye contact. Gives a family of three 1 king bed without asking us what option we want. Obviously this ain't it. We walk into the room. See the bed. I call down and told her there are three of us (again). She tells me I have to come back down. Fine. I leave everyone and all of our bags there. We've been through enough with this city of an airport and missed connection. There's a woman standing at her counter but she obviously knew I was there because she waited until I was starting to explain the situation to the gentleman before she let me know she was working on it. Not at all friendly and very far from apologetic. She simply wrote the room number on the key and pushed it over to me without another word and again no eye contact. So badly I wanted to flip her off but that would be stopping to her level and after the day I've had burying my dad across the country, missing a connection with 6 bags and 1 tired 10 year old. I didn't complain further about the lack of towels, bare bones room and dirty toilet. It was a lesson to my daughter (I shared this with her). If you are miserable at your job, get another. If you're having a hard day, don't take it out on customers who may have had it worse.
