I recently stayed at Georgia Gameday Center and I could not believe the unprofessional behavior that I dealt with from the staff. I came down to the front desk one afternoon and had to wait over 10 minutes. The reason I waited so long was most likely due to the loud noise they were causing with their yelling and laughing. When the staff finally realized I was there, three women and a man all came out of the back. There should be a staff member at the front desk at all times. Along with their unprofessional behavior, they obviously don’t have a dress code because leggings are not suitable for a business environment.
The service and the people here are great! Love that the rooms have a small kitchen and laundry! Just a couple blocks from the busy downtown area!

A coworker and I stayed at the gameday Athens in September on the 7th floor, 2018. Parking for check-in was very inconvenient with only 2 spaces and 1 was taken up by their oversized shuttle and the other space was very awkward to use. Finding the room we were assigned was difficult due to the numbers being engraved in a chrome plate with the same coloring almost impossible to see without a magnifying glass. Upon check-in I found a USED hand towel in the nightstand beside the bed (YUCK! ) and then ANOTHER used washcloth hanging on the bar inside the shower stall. I have never, ever found used dirty towels left in a hotel room before; that is unheard of! I doubt the cleaning service had cleaned and sanitized the shower stall and left the dirty wash cloth hanging in the shower. The eating utensils were found to have food particles left on them. The actual unit was nice and had nice decorations, however, after finding the used and dirty towel and washcloth and dirty dishes, I felt the entire unit had not been cleaned at all. I will not be staying at this hotel again!
