5 stars on fridays other then that 1 star the fell on friday nights is nothing compared to any other day of the week for some reason fridays are full of life and awesome people Saturdays the bouncers are alot more strict and the people are alot more stuck up dont go here unless it's a friday.

Getting home from club now. Haveto to say. Extremely disappointed! Music sucked.

As soon as I walked in went straight for the bathroom. Stood in line for 15min as there is only one urinal. When I got in the bathroom attendant told me if I kept talking trash he was going to have me thrown out. The weird part was he was looking at the wall when he was yelling. I asked him if he was talking to me. He repeated himself, I told him I did not know what he was talking about as I had not said anything to him. He grabbed his radio and called for security as if I was threatening him. Two bouncers came and grabbed me mid stream and walked me out. Left out of there dumbfounded. Took my 3 friends I came with, called the 2 girls outside that I went there to meet and I spent my money in Soho and had a good time there instead. This place needs to check their bathroom attendant. A couple more toilets would be nice as well.

Excellent Happy Hour Spot for 18-24 year olds. $10 all you can drink.

Im here for Latin night and its not alot of latin music being played.

It was alright. Bathrooms need to be remodeled. Drinks are way too expensive. They charged my card more money than they had to. Watch out for your bank account when you go to that place.

Went on a Tuesday at 11 and started off the night by paying a $10 cover charge. **Was aware of the guest list but the link wasn't working properly. Cons: Got on here to read reviews and noticed a review about using credit cards. I checked my bank account and the charge that was on there was double what it should have been. Hostile door guys: When I got there, there was a cocky door guy holding up the line to let people in. When I went to walk in there was a door guy blocking the door way. Even got bumped into for no apparent reason. I'm 6'2 215… these guys are either underpaid or more concerned about who their competition is. Drink Prices: After I paid $10 cover, I bought a Redbull Vodka which was $10. And tipped $2. The charge on my bank account ended up being $25. Underage: I'm not aware if underage (under 21) are allowed but the door guys had no issue handing out drinking wristbands to underage. It was pretty obvious after talking to a few women (18 and 20) that this was a normal thing. Witnessed the 20yr old throwing up before I left. Pros: The atmosphere and setup of the bar wasn't bad. I've always enjoyed the different venues within the bar. Probably one of the busier bars on a Tuesday. … I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

I hate this club, went on a Friday night (Latin night) the music is good, I like the style and vibes of the club, but they LET TOO MANY PEOPLE IN, every song I tried to dance too I got hit in the face and was ready just to get kicked out and fight these drunks that don’t know how to not jump around and realize it’s too small to be doin the most it’s good and all but they should only allow a certain amount of people in. I feel like it’s worst than prana on a Saturday night honestly! At prana it doesn’t get pack enough that your hitting people in the face like that. Other than that, club was nice.

Joe the bouncer tends to let only "pretty" girls in. Even if he knows they are underage. Kicked my best friend out on her 21st birthday for "sneaking her underage friends in" even though he let them in in the first place. Very shady place. Surprised the cops didn't shut them down yet. Tells 19 year olds to "come back at 10 o'clock" I just find it to be a unethical environment. Stay away from here. I am of age and always have been since I started going there. Shady security. Watch out.

I retract my last review my advice is go on friday night latin things get popping really quick so get there at happy hour. Cool place to hang out but if you like dancing that dance floor gets crowded very fast so fell the crowd out. Before hitting the dancefloor.

Great service even with lack of bartenders. I love that it has 3 different rooms. It gives you options of 2 different types of music. And a middle area to talk and meet people without loud music.

Frankly, I'm 44 years young and I have no clue what these folks in theri 30's and 40's are yapping about?! Dude, it's a party club where you go and do THAT! My wife and I skateboard down there from our house on Albany… the bouncers even agree to hold onto our Loaded and Carver skateboards in a secure location while we go in and party… Wife is 37 and I'm 44… we simply haven't had one issue there in over a year of living in SOHO / Hyde Park! So far = HPC is a class act imho. Skate Rat at 40+… get it!

After all these years still a good vibe and a great place for good music.

Dont bring your sad friend who wants a good time they take you outside when u do nothing wrong and take off your band when noone is looking and just rip you off dont go here rip off.

Saturday offered an all you can drink option from 9-11 for $10. The outside patio area is very cozy until it gets busy; however there are many steps and it can be a little precarious for those in heels. The inside bar has a dance floor and seating against one wall.

Smoke machines and strobe lights were done in both rooms was overkill. Too smoky and the strobes were flashing constantly at times, hard to see or focus & I didn't even drink anything. Bartenders were adept (I got water) and polite. Music good! 2 diff rooms but 2nd room by bathrooms were not labeled. I didn't know there were there till half way through my night, maybe they should put some signs on the doors.

Hyde Park hotel is beautiful and unique really feels like home only boutique styled.

Cure, quitr and rather secluded. Staff was personable and friendly. I would definitely recommend to others.

One of the best hotels in the entire state of Florida. This boutique hotel has loads of charm and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I recommend the "Sweetheart King". Italian marble floors, the softest bed in the world, decadent two person shower and hot tub. You cannot get any better than this.

Unique place, unlike others I have been too. But it is very nice and clean and the rooms are filled with smart tv's, fire places, and other cool things.

The rooms are kind of cute and have full kitchens despite being really small. The construction was going on right across the hall from me and woke me much earlier than my hungover self would've liked. A warning from the front desk would've been nice so I could've put in ear plugs. Speaking of front desk, they have movies you can borrow for free and the girl there is super cute.

Hyde Park Hotel is phenomenal! Our room had a king bed and a full kitchen with silverware and plates. They have free DVDs to borrow as well as satellite channels. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. Our room was very clean and in good repair. They were painting and renovating the second floor rooms as well. The next time we find ourselves in Tampa we will certainly return.

Fantastic! Genuinely awesome. This place is run by the best staff ever. I'm talking so down to earth they treat you like family or friends from right when you meet them. They are flexible, willing to meet your needs and the rooms are amazing! It makes you feel like you're at a BnB in north Carolina the rooms are so great. Seriously cozy comfy beds and the kitchen in my room was fantastic. The rate is TRULY the best part. Any other hotel in that area would be minimally TWICE as much without all the safety, amenities and care that Hyde park hotel provides. It's historic Hyde Park. Come on you have EVERYTHING right nearby. I'm gonna stay there again for a couple of days this week for 2nd interviews in the area. I recommend to all and anyone who will listen :-) :-) :-) also check out couldn't be easier (drop your key in a wooden box! ) It's GREAT. :-).

This place is amazing, it has a lot of character to it. Tho it has a few things not perfect or mint condition, its well worth it. Id live here if I could.

We recently visited the Tampa area and stayed in this hotel. It is in a perfect location. It is within walking distance to Hyde Park Village and we discovered a fantastic little restaurant within about a half a block called Daily Eats. Even though it is close to a number of restaurants, shops, etc. It is tucked away on a very quiet street. This may have been the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As you have seen in other reviews, the room was a little small but it was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed out stay very much and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. Oh, and you really can not beat the price.

Was refereed here by TGH. Turns out to be the worse place to stay. Seems like home to a bunch of party college kids. Can't sleep for all the screaming, yelling, and doors slamming. Unable to reach anyone at the front desk, even called the emergency number. I would rather pay more and have someone on duty than to save a few bucks. Not concerned about their patrons.
