The room is comfortable, and the money value is great. Except the false fire alarm at 4:50 AM due to the sudden system issue, the limited choice of breakfast b/c of Covid, and the unstable internet (occasionally), it is overall a comfortable room and worth the money. Hello Admin, Please help me to say "Thanks" to the night staff, an old and nice person (I think his name is John). I was upset when I was waken up by the false fire alarm twice, and this affected my trip. However, his nice and sincere attitude gave me good impression of the hotel, and I understand it was a sudden, unlucky, and unintetional incindent. Thus, I do not give any low rate for the hotel in Google, Booking, and Facebook. Regards,

Convenient location, friendly staff and very clean.

I usually have good service with choice hotels but this time I didn't. My husband was taking a shower and the shower head came loose and hit him in his eye. We called the front desk to report it she wasn't even concern and management was either.

Courtnee was awesome… friendly and had some helpful suggestions and info.

Room was nice and clean and staff VERY nice! Downfall is it’s not close to really anywhere. We ended up moving hotels because of that reason but it was a nice place to stay.

I don’t complain about many things but, The CLEANING STAFF STEALS from the guest! My entire jewelry bag was stolen during my stay. They even stole my child’s Pink V Tech watch from her bag. Who goes through guest’s bags besides a CRACKHEAD! I hope the necklace that housekeeping stole from my luggage gets caught on something and chokes them. And while they are at it, pick up a book and read the meaning of “Do Not Disturb”. Clearly the sign doesn’t mean anything and was disreg…arded when housekeeping came in and made 1 of my beds and not the other and went through our luggage. This gesture alone was almost their way of saying yes we came in your room and what are you going to do about it. The “General Manager” John Moradi (Not sure if that’s his real name) does not take guest complaints serious. John laughed at me and told me “It isn’t my problem”, “Did you file a police report? ”, and stated “My employees don’t steal and they have worked here for 5 years”. News flash buddy, your employees do in fact steal. The hotel also has roaches and they are used to them, considering the response that was given when we called the front desk to spray for the bugs. The response was “Is there a lot of them? ” I refuse to pay $163.87/ night to sleep with bugs and be stolen from!

Comfy beds, amazing staff. Breakfast doesn't have much variability, it's mostly bread but it's decent for what it is. What makes it stand out is the hydro-massage beds and bar inside the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is about as good as a capitalist hotel in the middle of soviet Russia. Looks and feels like it was thrown into the middle east and shot by 33 predator drone missiles. The food tasted like what I imagine leukemia feels like. Looks like hotel Rwanda had a failed abortion of a child. I'd rather stay at Auschwitz for a week than here for one night. The front desk was empty, the girl was back talking to her boyfriend. There was a used condom on my bed. Which my girlfriend and I did not notice until we were in bed. — 1 rep. Oh, and I was there at the same time as gamer grill and I too saw the black child being chased while he was naked.

Alright so let just get to the point. When I got to my room it was still a little dirty and I was like okay that was fine so I fixed it up my bed and the room a little bit. Then when I tried to leave the place to get me some lunch my car as stolen and then I had to walk and get a rental car. And then when I got my room the room and a ton of bugs and there was this Mexican family next to me and they were also complaining about the bugs as well. So I went to the elevators and then it broke down on me. I have to give this place a 1/5 because of the messy room and the bugs everywhere and the service in general. I paid about $500 just for a few nights which really made me mad with that price. Ps. I saw a naked black 5 year old child running by the pool. And his mother was chasing him with a towel. And I was shocked and felt terrible and I pretty sure its child porn now.

I booked a reservation well in advance for a meeting with an old friend. The price on the reservation was shown to be $84. After only a two night stay I was charged well over $300. No damage had been done so I decided to call and ask about it. The person on the other end refused to even walk to the computer to be able to check the reservation number. I am not pleased with this outcome and I will never be using this "Hotel" (very loosely more like run down motel) ever again. If I wanted to pay $150 a night it would not be in this place for sure. It would have been at a place that doesn't offer "interior corridors" as one of the main amenities. Sure am glad I paid the extra for the pleasure of walking down the dirty hallways. I would steer clear everyone and at least spend $150 a night at a place that is worth it.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn North. Well actually the only pleasure that I got was leaving the place. Although they do offer such amenities as bus parking, truck parking, and even normal parking. I did not enjoy it as much when they turned it into a make shift baseball field. Someone cracked my windshield with a baseball, but how can I get mad at management over that? The speaker phone amenity was also on the fritz when I tried to call room service they only keep screaming free hot breakfast though the loud speaker. There was also a nice woman named Claire that was also staying there at the same time. She woke me up at 4 a. M. Complaining about how there were so many bugs and that they kept crawling all over. Overall, I would have given this place a solid 2/5 if it was not for the Claire lady in the room next to me. I suggest trying a different hotel. Unless you know for sure that Claire is not staying there.

Wonderful front desk associates, very friendly and helpful. Common area is great. The HydroMassage Therapy chairs really sweetened the stay. Hallways are a little murky but the rooms are great. Clean, nice beds and plenty of pillows.

I have been to hotels where they had bed bugs and had to switch. These rooms were nice and comfortable and I didn't find any bugs. The breakfast was fulfilling. I enjoyed my stay. The staff were nice and always welcoming to talk to.

Very clean and well located hotel! Easy access to beaches, shops and cool down town area. The rates were very reasonable and the lounge and breakfast areas very clean and well kept too. Highly recommended. I’d give it five stars if it had a better lit parking lot and more hooks in tge bathroom, but it’s a solid 4.5 stars!

This was my second stay at comfort inn desk staff was wonderful maids where very nice breakfast was really good and the server was very kind and helpful toward my son who was mh/ mr she help him every day to get his food god bless her such a sweet person. Room was clean and beds where relaxing and full of comfort. Will stay again if I need a place to stay. Family comfort there. Was not near the beach but it was close to travel to beach.

Hotel was clean but building is bit old and outdated. Staffs were helpful. It is located near interstate highway and easy to get around the city.

Great friendly, polite, personable staff. The room was nice and the bedding was comfortable. The rates were a little high, but the prices are increasing all over St. Pete. The massage chair was incredible. Did not use the pool. The only problem was not enough storage space. There are only 2 drawers for clothes. Lots of empty walls space, this could be used for drawers. Breakfast was good and replenished often. Overall, when we visit again, usually 3 times a year, this is definitely a keeper.

This hotel is conveniently located off the highway, and within just a few miles of the beaches. Mrs. Bertha, the front desk rep, was genuine and very helpful. It offers great amenities like specialty coffee's, Hydro massages (one complimentary), open bar to beer and wine, fresh bakery items, ice cream bars, and more. A little something for everyone. I've been here 3 nights so far and Jenna has been very nice each night. She is Nice, attentive, and have great customer service. I will be recommending this hotel for my family and friends.

Comfort Inn north is a awesome place to stay, from the moment you arrive you're treated like it a home away from home… I've stayed here maybe 70 different times in 4years. I'm a truck driver so it's super convenient for me to park the truck easy access to the interstate 10 minutes from downtown St Petersburg… I choose to stay here when in St Petersburg. Thank you to John, Suzie, Judy, Cecilia, John, and of course Maria…

The hydro massage is the best! You get a free 10 minute massage with your stay. We actually purchased an additional one for $5 because we enjoyed it so much!

Always enjoy my stay here. Very safe customer service oriented establishment. I'm going back just to try the new hydromassage chairs lol. Great Service and affordable prices.

I really enjoyed my check in by Allen. After 14 hour trip with a friend, I was ready to unwind. Some places I have stayed always had stuffy shirt employees but Allen carried a particular sense of humor that intrigued my friend. He is truly a delight. I checked out early so I was not able to enjoy the breakfast but the stay was comfortable for the night.

3 nights Jan 25 — 28 in room with one king bed. A good stay in a comfortable room. Easy on & off I-275. Liked the night light in the bathroom, the paper towels provided, and the refrigerator. Good lighting, bedding, water drainage, heat & A/C. Complaints are that bathroom counter space was limited to a shelf about 7" deep over the sink and toilet, the only place to hang a towel or washcloth to dry was the one hook on the back of the door, and Wi-Fi dropped me so I had to log on several times; usually have stayed connected in other hotels. Cracker Barrel is the only dining near by; others are 1 — 2 miles away. Worth the price.

The staff are exceptional. I am a long term guest at comfort inn north and I get treated with nothing but love and respect. The breakfast is amazing and it is something there for everyone even the picky eaters. I will always choose comfort inn north as my home away from home. The room was clean and tidy and smelled very fresh. Some repairs are overdue in the bathroom, the shower curtian rod was loose on the wall and the toilet did not flush unless the handle was held. The breakfast was so-so, plenty choices to choose from because it is buffet style. I would stay at this hotel again.

Way way overpriced and they took advantage of the storm in every way possible, which is disgusting to do to other human beings. All the hotels in the area that did have power were sold out. Had no choice but to stay here during the hurricane because I had NO power for 6 days and live with a toddler along with his godfather who is a also a Vietnam veteran with leukemia. They wouldn't even offer a military discount, no discounts at all and they were sold out because of the hurricane. They were charging almost 200 a room with tax and "fees" when people were only staying there to have electricity and air conditioning. Updating this: The breakfast girl does a really great job and was very nice. Front desk really needs work along with some hospitality training. The bathroom had hair on the floor and wasn't properly cleaned along with poor bright work in the bathroom. I'm sure the staff doesn't even know what bright work is though. I managed the front desk AND also the back of the house (mainly housekeeping as an executive housekeeper and front office manager for over 10 years with Marriott) for hotels. I actually started out with Choice hotels at a Days Inn property. I can say this property does not meet their standards.

The breakfest is nasty stale bread, eggs left out till green, they say you can't take food to your room, because they don't want food in rooms yet they sale food. To cook in room. The staff is nasty a bad attitude. Arrogant with guest, they want to charge for everything breakfest suppose to be free, yet they say you need a ticket for breakfest or tip. The supposed office center you are only allowed one fax and one print, we we're told go get a iPhone we are old school well cant afford that they aren't proving them either. Then they try anything to back charge you for deposit. The rooms aren't clean the linins in room are old and dingy.

Would never come back to this specific location. The comfort inn brand and or choice hotels brand has been more then satisfying on my previous 19 stays this year. They are courteous and inform you with any changes of pricing and or charges to the card you are using. This location did absolutely nothing to make me feel being apart of their establishment was important to them.

Staff was not very friendly. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights & only received room service once. Had to almost beg for bath towels & extra washcloths. Will not return or recommend this place. Only bonus was the nice breakfast & host.

So I was here for a few days with my brother for a wedding down at St. Pete Beach. let me first start off and say the staff is fantastic, we got in late from our flight and the staff got us checked in no problem. The great ladies at the front desk answered our questions and gave great advice for seafood restaurant not far away. The breakfast in the morning was great with a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. The location is very convenient, a 20 minute drive or an uber ride to the beach. As well as easy ride to downtown St. Pete. The overall hotel room was great with plenty of space and the bathroom was good as well. Our room came with a mini fridge and microwave. The free Wi-Fi also was a nice feature when traveling. If you are looking for a place that you want to do the beach as well as explore the Tampa/st Pete area this is great spot. It's not expensive and what you pay is more than plenty. When I go back to Florida I definitely will stay again.

I love this places is beautiful and I can't think of any other words because this was a magical experience.

Every time I pass by this hotel there's a few people sitting in the side parking lot on the hotel picnic tables doing drugs and hanging out for extended periods. If I walk my dog the way that passes the hotels fence it's always pot smoke, rap music and trash left around. Not a good family spot. Hey saw your response and thought that it was pretty funny actually. Yes I am absolutely sure that it is your hotel if your on the corner of 54th right by 275 with the comfort in sign outside. Sorry by picnic tables I guess I should have said the benches you have in the back left corner of your parking lot. Very strange you don't know about any fence? Seems to me there is a long cyinderblock wall closing the end of your parking lot off. Also the number you left for me to call you is not a real number. I am literally watching a drug deal happen in your parking lot beside the block wall as I type this. Not sure why you think multiple people are confusing your hotel with another on here id try something better than that for a response next time you receive a bad review.

I stayed here during Irma the hurricane through fema and I must say staff is ok but the manager is very rude and prejudice he checked all these people in during Irma just to tell them a week later they can no longer stay at his hotel unless they pay 200 dollar deposit till end of stay, mind u this was never told to anyone till a week after staying here which is wrong if fema victims can Offord to pay that they wouldn’t need fema help so if u can’t pay the money u have to leave and go else wear which is discrimination because no other guest have to pay these fees but the fema victims the manager has no heart or respect for people and what they going through would never stay here again due to the manager being prejudice and I wasn’t raised that way.

Scary place, so cheap that all the crack heads seem to hang out there. Was visiting a friend who was staying there. Room was clean and spacious. Rest of the place was not so inviting.

Very attentive, understanding and polite to guests under these conditions following Hurricane Irma. I would recommend it. Prices are as I would normally have expected and I would return as it is right off the hywy and relatively close to my home.

I was very impressed with the kindness and compassion shown but the staff while we had to evacuate our home. The manager was on site helping guests brings their things in.

Very friendly clean and comfortable beds great breakfast staff is great like the exercise room laundry facility is nice in the hotel couldnt ask for a better place to stay.

Hotel is good for business travel, overnight stay while driving on I-275, etc. But not for a vacation. Located too far from beaches & other attractions, pool is very basic, almost no outdoor area, no dining, & very small bar. Beds & pillows were very good. Not the best area. Should have fence around parking lot and / or security. If you buy BlueGreen vacation at Bass Pro Shop, tell them you do not want this hotel for 4 nights.

Located right off the 275 ramp. The bar area was quite small, not much of a beer selection. We spent our time in one of the banquet rooms (also quite small) but very clean. The staff seemed very friendly while we were there. I noticed two massage lounge chairs located in a 'quiet' room, that was pretty cool. Unfortunately I didn't have time to test them out. Overall I'd say the place was 'cozy small' and clean with friendly staff.

I was told a room with 2 beds could only have 4 people. I told the manager Julie there were 2 adults and 2 children that were staying and 2 other children would not be staying just visiting she said okay took my money and imprinted my credit card. 10mims later she calls me at the room tells me the 2 additional kids have to sit at lobby can't be in room. Meanwhile she also ran my card for additional funds of 179.82 when my room was 182.19 and she could never te me why she did, took me having to have my bank call her on the hotel phone for her to give me refund. She wouldn't give me refund from the info I pulled up on my 've phone. I also found out info later that Comfort Inn said they welcome ALL children no capacity there are extra beds available. I was never offered that. Just wondering my children wasn't welcome.

Me and my boyfriend have stayed here while on business and the front desk staff was very friendly, the cleaning staff was superb, the room was immaculate when we got here, and they asked us if we had everything or needed anything. The cleaning lady brought us by towels and shampoo and everything we needed. The staff is absolutely out of this world! The rooms are immaculate and I am 1000% satisfied. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again myself!

The hotel is very outdated, but the Front Desk agent was super friendly and incredibly kind (the female, sorry I forgot her name). If I ever go back to the area again, I'd definitely rather stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites across the street, but for the price, I definitely didn't hate the hotel. The one thing I really disliked was how… small everything was. We weren't in a special accessible room, yet everything felt super low. I'm 6 foot, but I've never been in a bathroom where all the features were so low. I was taller than the shower head and the mirror reflected my abdomen, not my face, haha.

I want to say the reason this is such a poor rating is directly because of the owners son. We asked for an extra comforter due to my wife's back and he had to come downstairs to see exactly why we needed it. A simple yes or no would have sufficed here but this individual evidently has a control problem with the comforters. It is Sunday evening and the place is only 1/6 occupied at best and yet they had none. After explaining to him his bed hurt my wife's back and she is forced to sleep on the floor he wanted more info. Well mister, I think you have plenty of info. So I tell him I am very unhappy and instead compromising, he flatly says no, something he could have done over the phone and not wasted our time by making us wait in the lobby while he got dressed and came downstairs from the top floor. Adding insult to injury… we get to our room and he has cancelled our keys. Prick. Yes I said it, Prick. So back I went and as I entered the lobby, the receptionist ran to the machine and made us new keys before we got to the desk to inform them our key was an issue. I tell you this because he CANCELLED our room key hoping we would leave, instead of us getting a freakin comforter. This toad is a first class ass wipe. It is rather unfortunate because the entirety of the rest of the staff was tremendous throughout our stay. By the way, we had asked for and received permission earlier in the day for a comforter. Yet, we were forced to deal with this narcissistic little man.

This hotel is super clean, staffed by very helpful and professional desk clerks and has a nice clean pool. Its not in the greatest neighborhood but is right off the highway exit and centrally located. Location is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. I have stayed here before and have always been satisfied with my stay. I am always able to find a good deal on a room at this location.

Noisy Airconditioning with disabled controls, refrigerator noisy and useless, tiny bathroom. Breakfast lower quality level. Too expensive for the value.

Was there with a large group, over 20 rooms, for several nights. Overall the place is not too bad. It looks fairly nice, both outside and in. Nice entrance way, clean looking. Elevators are the slowest I've ever been on. You can stand there waiting on them upwards of 3-4 minutes, and once in, they shake and make a ton of noise as they move. The review of the people that work there are mixed. Some seem nice and fairly friendly. Others seem rude and can be bothersome. I did not interact with the manager or staff directly, but heard from others in the party that they can be very difficult, not at all easy to work with. Does not have the feel of a chain or luxury hotel. Just something about the atmosphere there makes you feel like more of a local motel. My room seemed fairly clean, but then again all rooms usually LOOK clean. I know one of the people in our party was torn up by bed bugs. They did switch them to another room, but that's not a good look. I've been to this place a few times over the last 2 years. There's mismatched paint in places, patches, damage in the elevators, paint on door handles, etc. Since the first time I went there, they've said they were under renovation, so it's been 2 years now, they are still under renovation? Granted I didn't super inspect the place, I don't remember exactly how everything looked from before, but from what it seems, they haven't done much of anything in those years. Looks the same from what I can remember, but I could be wrong.

I did not likely it bad service and the beds were as hard as rocks it was low quality and enjoying my time! they had bed bugs! me and my mom were atein up.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Not the most updated design, necessarily, but it met my needs for a just-above budget hotel. Decent breakfast and a nice pool. Fitness room barely qualifies as such.

HORRIBLE customer service! Started from the first phone call to make reservations. In the middle of the conversation when I asked a question of price, I was hung up on. After traveling for hours in bad weather and arriving at the hotel the service got worse. The old man at the desk was very rude. He asked for my ID and my credit card. I had already paid over the phone for one night and said I would wait till the next day to decide if I was going to stay another night. When he swiped my credit card, I asked if he was charging me again and why was he swiping it. He rudely replied "cause my boss told me to. " I was still calm and polite at this point and said I understand your boss wants you to, I'm just asking if you are charging me again. He said"NO! " Well when he handed me my receipt back it showed he did charge me again. He continued to be rude when I asked him to debit my account back. Not a good first impression at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Well upon checking in already didnt like it its a non smoking facility… I was all the way on the 5th floor so I hated to come out and smoke. The beds were very hard. Wifi sucked it was slow pretty much I didnt like it / the a. C. Sucked. The only good thing was shower excellent.

My family and I checked in on 11/14/15 around 3:30pm. There was a small mix up /glitch with the name the room was register under, at no fault of the front desk clerks they were very prompt, and helpful fixing the error. The location was fine and within reason of the James Raymond stadium. The room was okay, didn't feel clean, the rug should be replaced, more lighting rooms are to dull, and better paint (happy, cheerful colors) other than that the service was really good.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The people were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. I wanted to bring the king size bed home with me. There was a slight leak in our window from the torrential rains we had, and the staff offered us another room across the hall, but we declined as the problem was minor. I did appreciate their service to resolve an issue we hadn't even noticed. We saw no bed bugs, no roaches, everything was clean and I hardly even saw any maid service while in elevators and hallways. It seems that new management has done good things for this hotel and it is worth staying in.
