The worst hotel I have ever been in. Smelled of pee, the door wouldn’t shut because it appeared to be kicked in at some point multiple times. No refund was given because the lady at the desk said she saw nothing wrong and that her rooms look like they do online. This is absolutely not what we booked, not what it looked like online, and not at all acceptable. We weren’t looking for anything glorious, just a safe and clean place to rest our heads. We instead received this which we stayed in for 10-20 mins and got no refund back from.
Don’t expect to get what you see online when booking with Western Inn.

These shysters charged me a smoking fee with no proof that I smoked in their room. Saying the maid had pictures that they won’t produce and that the room smelled like smoke but have me on their surveillance system smoking outside. I understand that there are non smoking rooms, but there is no such thing a no smoker rooms. $150.00 because they made a mistake and they won’t offer any evidence that I smoked in their hotel. Stay away unless you like getting bilked. The manager Sam Raja is also a condescending unprofessional scam artist. There will be litigation.

We booked this room in a rush over the phone, upon arrival we immediately had a weird feeling; the front office was locked, there were guests pacing around the parking lot that was empty for all but four cars. Nonetheless, we decided to go forward with the reservation as it was late and we were tired. After getting to our room we further realized the bed was infested with bed bugs. We left with a refund, only to realize they had charged us twice for the room making that refund null. The would not accept responsibility for the charge and I was left to file a claim with my bank. Do not go here. This place needs to be shut down.

BEWARE! I booked online sight unseen. Drove 5 hours to this place. It is not a place where I would feel comfortable at night. Its a dump. Upon arrival I noticed that there were quite a few homeless and the surrounding derilict buildings were a concern. I told my wife that let’s at least check out the room. My main beef is the beds are not of good quality. My wife took one look at the bed and said “hell no”. We asked to look at another Room. The bed In that room was old and trashy looking. Wife said “hell no”. We requested a refund from the “manager”. We were refused. She actually made the comment if she refunded every time someone asked that they wouldn’t make any money. She was more concerned about keeping my money than taking care of our concerns. That was the craziest thing I ever heard from a hotel manager from India. My friends from India would never make such comments to their clients. Anyhow we told them that we would not be staying and that we would post a review warning other potential customers. This slum lord owner needs to invest in new beds, paint the building and have an armed security guard on the property. This place is not worth $133 a night. You. Were. Warned. Regards, DE.

Staff was friendly. It was actually a lot nicer inside than what I expected from the outside. The floors and walls had recently been done. Exactly what you would expect for the price. If you want something a lot nicer, pay more for a different place.

False advertising this place is trashy. Its nothing like what you see on the website. I refused to stay there. The staff act like they don't see all that mess, people walking around looking like zombies.

This was the nastiest place I have ever walked into! I can't even describe what the bed looked like! It was brown with I don't know what all over it! It had holes in it as did the sheets! There was an open electrical box with open breaker bar! You could have stuck your fingers in and touched open wires! Not safe by any means! When we complained to the manager his response was he's heard it all before and he doesn't care! We tried a different room with the same results! But the second one had huge hair balls all over the floor and what looked like blood all down the ac unit. Plus the AC didn't even work in the second room! Needless to say we didn't say here! We were told that they would not remove the charge from our card no matter what we said. We will be calling the building inspector asap! We were also told that the only way we could contact the ownow was by email and he would not give us her name. Please save yourselves the trouble and do NOT stay here!

For everyone that is looking for a hotel close to the Naval base, please do yourself the favor and DO NOT stay here. I wish I would have spent the extra money to stay at a nicer hotel because the western inn must be the most disgusting place I’ve ever had to stay in. This hotel is extremely dirty and the management is terrible. Within my first two minutes after checking into the western inn, two huge men came from behind me and tried grabbing my bags to “take them to my room for me” (they didn’t work here). When I finally got into my room, I felt relieved because it was huge and SEEMED to be cleaned until I took my shoes off. There was so must dirt on the floor I could feel it on the bottoms of my feet and then I checked my bed. There was dirt and stains in my bed. I called the lobby on my phone (because the phones you have in your room don’t work) and I asked if I could have clean towels and sheets… they never came. I ended up spending about $65 on towels and soap from the near by cvs to clean/dry myself after a shower and to sleep on because the bed was that gross (I have never been so happy to buy soap and towels in my entire life). Every cab driver and Uber I got into warned me and told me to “ be aware of my surroundings”. This hotel is full of drug dealers and prostitution as well. When booking this hotel I was deceived and I wish I would have spent the extra money on a hotel that was closer to the naval base, cleaner, and with good management.

Nastyyyyy! A straight dump the sheets had hair on it. The pillow was so flat and looked molded. The bed mattress had holes and piss stains on it… They will tell you no smoking or you will get fined but soon as we walked in the room smelled like smoke and mole. I felt so discussed just by sitting on the bed and I just knew housekeeping didn't wash them sheet and she caught an additude with me when I asked for new sheets. The aircondition was so loud I could barely sleep… I wouldn't let my Dog sleep in a place like this I would advice no one to stay at this dump its redicalous… I'm just soooo thankful that we didn't have any bedbugs in our room… I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE ZERO!

So I was pretty much talked into staying here and for the lack of a better word kinda a crack shack in a shady area. The rooms were pretty big and the staff was nice they seemed to attempt to clean the rooms but they drank like mold and mildew. A lot of shady looking folks around I would not stay here with my kids and quite frankly wouldn't stay here again but it was cheap and there was some stuff you could walk to. Next time I'm in Pensacola the Motel 6 is better if u are on a budget. I didn't have a problem with bedbugs Thank God.

We stayed there a total of 4 nights. First night was a party zone till 4 am in the morning. House keeping was very slow and sloppy, received 1 fresh towel and washcloth per person every other day and 1 roll of toilet paper. We got an attitude when we asked to at leased sweep the floors. My service dog had to go in an area to the back of the motel where is debris from the construction, broken glass and mirrors on the ground. We will never stay there again. Also we were charged 60.00 p. Night while online is only 55.00 p. Night.

Nice large room for a cheap price not far from. Beach.

By far the worst hotel I have ever been too. No plugs anywhere got multiple cords running everywhere I think a safety violation with receptacle uncovered. Dont waste your time here for real.

The pics are miss leading but you get what you pay for. This place probably seen its better days in the 70's. Not a great area and they do the best with what they have, I think. One star is for no bugs, one star is for maid service and one for a comfortable bed even though box springs was stained. Sirens all hrs of the night but my car was never bothered.

Worst Hotel ever! Bad service I recommend people not to come here. Plus the Lady that owns it has a Very bad attitude.

Extremely sweet and helpful staff** Very spacious rooms. The entire room was very nice and relaxing. The room had been cleaned very well. Paint and flooring both looked very recent. A nice quiet room. It just felt like a home a way from home. Flat screen TVs didn't hurt it's charm, either. Also, I had a pet and she was okay with that with a small deposit. Very pet friendly place. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends! A++

Nice place for me and three kids from 5.5 hours away. No bed bugs in room 108. Only one roach which was easy to remedy as an exterminator. My girls brought all their necessities and said there was not enough rack place to put their towels in bathroom, no big deal I Say. It was perfect 65 degree weather outside. So didn't need heat or air, but I am sure they worked. I was told the next morning that there was no complimentary coffee, so I went across the street and received senior citizen coffee for free at Whataburger. I'm only fifty two but maybe resemble all the other vagabonds in the neighborhood. Not a bad adventure for $83 and two queen size beds.

The place is very clean, the staff are great, and absolutely no sign of bugs. Me and my wife stayed here for three nights and it was comfortable and an overall good place. The only problem was rowdy college kids making problems, but they were made to leave. I would recommend this hotel and come back. Also it is fairly inexpensive.

This is the most horrible motel, I ever stayed at. They moved us 3 times on count t of No Heat, No Cable, Internet didn't half work. And I requested our money back and they refused.

Just needed a bed and shower for the night. This place was just that. Nothing fancy just a place for one night. Got in around 6ish, they had my reservation all set. (I planned 3 days in advance. They were booked when I checked in. If your a picky person and plan to stay longer this place isn't for you. Online shows you pictures. I'm picky but I just needed a place for the night and on a low budget. ☺

Rooms are recently remodeled, wood floor and new bathroom… bed must be replaced soon. But if traveling in a budget mode I'll recommend it!

You get what you pay for… On the plus side — the room was inexpensive; The negative side — not a good place to stay with kids! It is infested with alcoholics, drug heads, and very loud neighbors!

The rooms were very nice, the part of town the hotel was located in was a little shady, but I never had any issue with anything under the hotels control.

I had booked my room two months in advance and they gave me a room with a broken lock. The bathrooms are disgusting.

This place is disgusting! Room 119 looked as if it was built in the 70's and never touched again. The bathroom looked like it was a dirty public bathroom, large pieces of the light switch plate were missing, the t. V was extremely old, but the icing on the cake-bed bugs! I left the room at midnight for a refund but all they offered was a different room, slightly better because it was renovated, but just a complete waste of money.

This place has to be condemned! This place was a total dump! I'm not kidding I'm ashamed that the city of Pensacola allows an establishment like this to run and operate. It looked abandoned, the rooms were so disgusting and moldy and the restrooms looked worst than those of a gym or prison, they looked like the ones in Alcatraz. People we had to make a stop and had no choice so we booked it on line and paid $79 for this place what a mistake, we were scared to even touch the sheets, this place was so unsanitary. I'm warning you, do not stay here you are better off just sleeping in a rest stop I promise.

This doesn't not deserve a star at all! WORST HOTEL! We were given a room where there was abdomen rooms next to us. We walk in and it had a very HORRIBLE smell I just couldn't not be in there any long I had my shirt over my nose. The mattress was all torn up the covers had a stain on it and my daughter walked bare footed for a few minutes her feet were dirty and behind a curtain was a locked door. I couldn't even use the restroom I felt so disgusted. We requested to get a refund or a different room. Well we weren't able to get a refund he said he can get house keeping to change out the covers it took her a while to come and not only was it house keeping it was the manager and she had the worst customer service she kept asking what the issue was after we repeatedly told her to altleast change covers she laid on the covers and stated "look I'm laying on it" my thought was well I guess you liking sleeping on dirty covers. So she continued to give us attitude so of course we told her she has bad customer service and we told her to keep the room we're leaving. This hotel smells, it's dirty, bad customer service, disgusting covers.

Trash. Drug and roach infested. Front office staff brushed it off like nothing of that thing existed here. Wouldn't expose a homeless person to this filth.

Roaches in the room. Sheets have stains and there are open holes in the wall to the outside. Only suitable for crack heads or kids who don't know better. Not the cozy bed I was looking for after a long days work. Watch a heroin addict nod off while trying to eat a plate of taco's. A couple ladies of the night looking for some $. Wouldn't recommend this place to someone who is homeless.

Honestly … the outside does not do it justice. I picked the hotel online cause it was the only one I could comfortably afford on short notice. I got there was wondering what I got myself in for. I checked in and the lady at the desk was very sweet and she offered me great customer service. I let myself in the room and found it exceptionally clean. Yes it does need updating and they are in the process of doing so. I believe this hotel just switched hands recently and they are trying to do things right, the inside then the outside. I will definitely stay there the next time… if I can afford more or not!

Doesn't deserve a star. Read this before paying. When checking in the manager questioned my pets and said she was worried my lap dogs would chew up the place, so I expected a decent room. No. The room was filthy dirty. The shower had mold all over including the ceiling. Also the shower stem was held in by a screw but would just fall off. The shower floor was so slippery I fell and bruised myself up. The TV barely worked. The hotel staff stood outside of our room folding towels, talking and disturbing us. The room had bugs. The microwave didn't work. There are gaps under the door and above. Pillows were black. Air unit barely worked. After staying two nights bc I prepaid for them my entire family had the flu. Disgusting.

First time we stayed there it was okay. Not the best place but you get what you pay for right. I woke up with bed bug bites all over me. Told the staff which they're trained to see them and find them… And not only that but was told you can't see bed bugs. Stayed again with 2nd chance my son n law was eat up as well… Along with my 2 year old grandson. My grandson is sick from all the bites on his legs ankles face hands. Health department will be called… Oh btw they are in the process of remodeling. I did ask to speak to the manger which was told was out of town. But they were next door at the circle motel… Asked for a refund no that wasn't an option asked at least a free nite something move us to another room no I was told we could leave. And I must mention we were displaced due to our house burning down… No compassion nothing… So based on what I have said y'all make your decision… Good Day.

While the motel definitely needs an update room was clean and bed was comfortable. The area hotel is located in is not the safest area. Advertised a pool, coffee maker and blow dryer in room none of them are there. My advice pay the extra 10 or 20 for a motel in a safer area.

I stayed her for a few weeks over the summer while looking for an apartment and for the price this is the best place in the area. No bugs in my room and everything functioned properly. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and as I said, if you're looking for a $$200 a night hotel room this is not for you, but for an affordable room this place is most comfortable and practical.

After hunting around, this was the cheapest offer on this side of town. Clean rooms, quiet atmosphere, no breakfast.

Dirty carpet, bathtub didn't drain properly while taking a shower. Comfy bed. Clean smelling room. Found a grey hair in a wash cloth. Staff was alright. Good location. Wi-Fi was horrible except at the front desk. No pool. Large room. Just grimy.

Absolutely the rudest front desk workers EVER! I was told on the phone we could check in at 3:00. At 3:45 when we arrived our room was not ready! The room was clean but smelled of garbage because house keeping left trash bin outside of the door. In the middle of the night in July the air quit. When I told the front desk she said ok we will check it. Very hateful.

Me and my SO enjoyed the nights stay. The hotel looked a little used but not terribly run down. The bed was very comfortable with no bedbugs and the front desk was very friendly.

This is the worst experience I've ever had. I've never been more uncomfortable staying somewhere. The rooms are absolutely disgusting. I woke up plenty of times throughout the night itching to only find bed bugs in the morning. Sick! I took a shower and the bottom of the shower was sticky and hollow. The room had holes in the walls/cracks throughout the ceiling. The baseboards were falling off and there were only 2 towels. There is no pool like it says (even if there was I would never swim in it because the place was so disgusting) full of people drug dealing and who knows what else the fire alarm in our room was hanging from the ceiling too and the bathroom door does not shut. Also holes all throughout the shower curtain I don't think this business even changes the sheets. If you're reading this review and think your room won't be this I can PROMISE you it will most likely be worse. Not family friendly there were guys rolling drugs up right outside of our room on the balconies. Im trying to find a corporate number and call because THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN I don't even want to give one star but I have to.

This was an experience. It taught me life lessons. I mean the "spend the extra $15 for Motel 6, ya dummy" kind of life lessons. I have used gas station bathrooms that were cleaner than this place. I was legitimately afraid of getting mugged while walking from my car to the room, which had no door # on it. This brought back memories of growing up in the ghetto. Good times, good times.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke, no phone in room, Wi-Fi poor/ intermittent. Rooms are old and in need of maintenance. No pool as pictured. Bathroom door would no close, not correct door. Rugs sticky and a/c filter dirty and stinky. Pictures do not show accurate. Hotel is very old. I very poor upkeep.

After reading the reviews, I was very nervous about this motel. Driving through the neighborhood did not help to ease my anxiousness. But for $55, you don't expect too much. The hotel room definitely needs updating and I wouldn't trust leaving my wife there by herself, but for the price, not a bad deal. Bring your own shampoo! They do not provide! Also, no locking hatch on the door and it looks as though someone has attempted to break in on multiple occasions. But if you're cheap like me, you can look past these things for a quick place to lay your head down…
