Cozy spot. Our sink had a crack and the ironing board cover was dirty but overall I say the stay is worth the money. Very clean and comfortable bedding. Our housekeeper Mrs. Vicky was beyond nice and sweet!

They are Horrible the worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. We booked our rooms online and got the keys to two rooms they gave us a key to someone room that was already occupy the other room smell like seafood and pee. They didn't want to give us other rooms. The receptionist is very rude no hospitality at all, I work at a hotel back home in Arkansas this will stand back home. I seen cracked heads and ppl begging just out around the premise all night. Housekeeping didn't replace towels after we gave the dirty ones to them and I ask could they clean my room it never happen. This hotel could be better if they replace the staff and have security around.

Would give it a half star if I could. Checked in, got room 142, air conditioner broke, literally laying on floor. Moved us to another room, 216, no sheets on beds. Upgraded us to a deluxe, room 218, toilet didn't work, maintenance came and "fixed" it, only to get a call from office saying that toilet will work enough for tonight, and maintenance will be in our room at 8 am to repair properly. Go to beach, come back, use toilet for first time, still doesnt work. Call office. Nothing can be fixed til morning. Wants to move us to another room, at 9:50 PM. I physically walk to office, get gloves, and fix toilet myself. Then daughter brings me a German cockroach she caught, for me to kill. Hello. Health dept will be called along with BBB tomorrow.

I would have given the place a higher mark, because the property isn't bad. However, the maids are rogue savages. They relentlessly pound on the door starting at 8:30AM and even if you tell them you are still in the room, they continue pounding and try coming in. I told her I would leave by 11. At 10AM the whole same thing played out yet again. I mean… really? REALLY. So if you stay here, either leave before 8:30AM or be prepared for showdowns. That's how they roll.

Got stranded when fuel tank was ripped by freeway debris. Paid high price for basic room Saturday of very busy weekend and thankful to get it. As expected, wasn't more than a "crash pad" but slept wonderfully. Reserved Sunday & Monday nights in one of their Superior rooms for little more than one prime time rate for basic one. All staff has been sympathetic to our difficulties and bend over backwards helpful. Location ideal for someone stranded afoot. Upscale rooms very comfortable. You should be aware of heavy turnover so floors do not get attention like at home, maybe keep house slippers near.

The staff is very kind and accommodating. The first room we were in did not have a working phone and iffy Wi-Fi. When the a. C went out, they were very quick to put us in another room. In the second room, everything worked perfectly. I had to take off 1 star simply because the water pressure is very light and because we had to switch rooms to get everything to work. All in all, I would rent from them again.

Very decent. I had a king room. It was very clean. Had a desk area large TV and the bed. No room for anything else. No coffee pot but 24/7 coffee in office. No pool. Most of the people were nice. I did not have the same experience at other nearby hotels.

(0 STARS) Very filthy, nothing worked! We had to fix the TV, A. C. Didn't work thank God it was cool outside, and the tub wouldn't drain properly. Although it's a non-smoking hotel the room reeked of smoke and triggered my allergies. The room overall was old and dirty I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

We reserved our room one month in advance online. When we arrived the office receptionist was very nice and quick to get us a room even though we showed up an hour before check-in time. First impressions of the room was they were fairly clean (but there's always room for improvement there). It was a nice big room. Plenty of room for the two adults and three kids we had. We actually put an air mattress down for one and still had plenty of room. Now day two didn't go quite as smoothly. There was no housekeeping while we were out. We came back to our room in the same condition we left it all of the towels still in the pile where I left them for housekeeping. So at 10 at night we were looking for somebody who could get us clean towels for baths. As for location it is close to good restaurants and shopping. It is also very close to I-10 so when it get quite there is road noise. But its not bad enough to keep you up at night.

Rooms were available when other places didn't have any but I can see why. Its more dirty than not, rooms have not been cleaned well at all and we found a blunt roach laying next to the phone which means house keeping is getting high or they just made the bed and call it clean. Its supposed to be non smoking so either way, someone was lit and it wasn't me. Floors have a month of dirt and hair so wear your shoes! Glad this is only for a night, kinda scary area also. I would NOT recommend this place unless its the only option and its a short visit. We just need sleep. They got 2 stars because they had 2 rooms for me when no one else did.

The first impression you get of a hotel is its customer service. After an exhausting 500 mile drive, we received a very cold and " don't bother me" attitude from the front desk lady. She did not look at us not even once. She had her eyes fixed to the computer and would ask us the necessary questions looking at the computer. That is definitely not what I would consider a friendly and welcoming service. On the other hand, I have to admit the room was clean and it was very quiet which it was good.

It's a good cheap place if you have no other option, but be warned housekeeping will just walk in whenever they feel like. Even if you do put the privacy sign on the outside, they will walk in on you changing. And if they don't walk in, you get a wake up call every morning at 9:00am from them beating on your door until you answer (again, despite you having a privacy sign). However, they were always apologetic and nice after walking into your hotel room when you obviously were changing, but I still had zero privacy. The people at the front desk were very nice as well. Yeah, if you want privacy in the morning, not the best place but other than that it was just fine.

This motel is terrific and a great bargain. The manager is Fyzal and he works hard to make sure all guests are satisfied — — goes over and beyond. He conveys this attitude to his staff and they are friendly and accommodating. This RRI has recently been remodeled and greatly improved. Removal of the smoke and pet urine saturated carpets was a great improvement. Hardwood and tile throughout — — much cleaner. The parking lot is now very bright, with all light bulbs working and maintained. Multiple security patrols nightly are comforting. If you need a clean, friendly place to stay near West Florida Hospital at the right price, this is your spot. The only realistic improvement I'd suggest is to change cleaning products. There is a harsh chemical smell in the rooms. Warning: entry can be a bit hard to find. If you are coming from the north on Davis, Plantation is a small, difficult-to-see road on the right by Ticket Sports Bar. Its even trickier coming from the south. You have to make a U-turn and come in by the Waffle House, wind your way to a small road toward the back that comes from the mall and take a right on Plantation. Even after 7 stays in less than 2 years, I still get lost. It's worth finding, though.

Pretty good hotel for the price. Very basic and bare room but worth the price at $47 or so. No complimentary breakfast or anything like that. They have a refrigerator and microwave and a decent TV. All in all well worth it for its price point.

Clean, inexpensive, good location, and an owner that aims to please! The owner saw I had booked online for a handicap accessible room and he called me to confirm that the room he was saving for me would adequately meet my needs. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I checked in and found him to be friendly and very helpful. Oh yeah, and the room was a nice size, clean with a comfortable bed and a good bang for my buck!

Definitely budget friendly for the frequent traveler. Has all the basics to sleep. Within walking distance to food. But non-smoking room still smells like smoke.

No use not ASEAN beds have to be claiming always because they change sheets is a Ascó

At 11:30 at night some other guests decide to srart fist fighting across the way. Woke me up out of the bed. I have my 8 year old in here with me. I heard screaming opened the door looked across the way their room door was open it was spilling out the room I mean literally fist fighting made me scared for my sons safety. I have heart problems. The night shift employee acted like they got mad at me for complaining. Might be pet friendly but begging to wonder if its kid friendly. For the price of this place that is unacceptable. May be pet friendly but I would reconsider if you have your kids with you. Took almost 25 minutes for security to get here then I am not even sure if anything was done about it.

The receptionist are the greatest, Lashonda and Lisa are very professional and courteous I wouldn't trade them for anything always smiling and good listening ears and just down home good people… their Boss is awesome very attentive to your needs and he makes sure that your stay is very comfortable. Stopped here on my way to Tampa. The lady behind the counter was nice and in a good mood. I told her I liked her hair and treated me like a friend. That was about 4 months ago and I still remember it. The room was pretty good but it was the service that hammered in the 5 stars.

Opened door and strong odor of cigarette smoke. Son thought it maybe the heater that was sitting on the counter but it was off. This is suppose to be 100% smoke free. Took off my shoes and floor is sticky and dirty. Went to jump in the shower and loud shrieking noise from shower but barely any water coming out. Finally able to take shower and water will not drain stood in at least 2" of water. Not to mention we got a room with double bed and one spread had stains. Only 1 wash cloth and 1 towel to share between 2. You get what you pay for that's for sure. If I wasn't so tired from driving I would keep on going. Will be up all night just checking on my vehicle & uhaul people running around everywhere. Asked the clerk how was the crime rate around here. Stated there is always a lot of "tourist", it's pretty bad if "tourist" ride bicycles around the place and people walking from one motel to the other. Yeah I won't be back ever… ✌

Killed 3 roaches first night. Lady in south building 2 floor north east said she killed 10 roaches an hour in light and that was after they sprayed 2 times. Hair from past people on floor and bathtub. Could feel springs in bed. Floors filthy. Wouldn't have stayed there another night but no other hotels due to hurricane Irma. Office staff was slow to check people in. Check bill for daily room safe charge. Would NOT recommend staying here. Must be specific to this location and poor management as red roofs are usually decent.

Manager was the best (we related a bit cause we r both on the "crazy" side of mental society (i hope u all understand, I mean crazy/fun/optimistic/happy'go'lucky side) along with night manager (good-luck trying to pull one over on her). In a so-called rough part of town, we felt very safe. My whole family came to visit our Marine. Housekeeping help was tremendous at accommodating all our needs, without us feeling like we were a bother. It's been since March, but can't wait to revisit, and this is were we will stay hands down. Thanks to u all.

The cleanliness is lousy, there was hair on the bathroom walls, in bed there was dog hair and a strong cigarette smell. Too expensive for one night.

SLEEP IN YOUR CAR RATHER THAN STAY HERE OR KEEP ON DRIVING! Room smells of smoke even though it was a king deluxe, '100% smoke-free' COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE! Tried to keep in mind the humidity and etc. At first they were small and as the night has come along they keep getting bigger. On the floors, on the walls. Nothing is safe from them. AC is filthy and looking at it you can tell it hasn't been once thought of for a cleaning. The air coming out of it was worst than sitting in the hot, old smoke, roach infested room. Not to mention the mold slowly growing out of the vent. Very much so visible. I did a quick sweep of the hardwood floors with anti-bacteria wipes when we came back from dinner and noticed all of the tiny roaches and the wipes were filthy. No one can tell me these floors have been cleaned recently. Me doing it is probably the first time in over a week that they've been done, judging by how the wipes looked afterwards. (The once white wipes when done we're gray and black) Blood on the sheets and cracked paint. Blood in the sheets are most definitely from bed bugs and casings from their bodies were on the bed sheets when pulled back. Don't let them take your money. Pay whatever the cost and stay the hell away from this place! Sleeping in your car is better than being in one of these rooms. Make sure to cancel before 6pm check in day because for some policy they have they charge you then, not when you arrive? I would give zero stars if I could. Now excuse me.

I really enjoyed my stay at Red Roof Inn. It was clean, nice, quiet and peaceful. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The housekeepers did a great job. The location was great and the price was affordable. I will recommend Red Roof Inn to all my friends and family.

Very disappointed! They don't honor their own coupons… don't put them out there if you don't honor them! Booked it for $76. & because my husband entered the wrong date you make him pay an additional $14. $76. Is way more than your room was worth for one night! When people are tired and don't want to search for another place, you take advantage! When we opened the door the smell of the room stunk so bad. Then when I looked around the room, I noticed stains on your bedding and the decor is so out dated. You had stains in your toilet and the cover on your air conditioner just popped off and hit the floor. A little advice Red Roof Inn… You make a killing of your rooms by over charging, use some of that money and clean/update your rooms! Very unhappy customer!

The room was clean and roomy for a cheaper hotel. There was no pool and the ice machines were broken. The TV channels needed to be upgraded. The location was easy to get to and from. The front desk was courteous and responsive. The grounds were clean. People hung out on the walk way until midnight and their conversations were easy to hear. Walls and glass too thin.

Stain on the sheets, took it off went to the lobby to ask for clean sheet and apparently the houskeeper who was incharge of cleaning that room was in the lobby at the time and said I'm aware of the stain but there is nothing I can do, we'll yes there is, you change that stain sheet and put a unstained sheet on the bed, front desk was nice, the guy who walked over to get me clean sheets was very nice, the room wise was a different story, dirty bathroom floors, broken toliet seat, a room for 4 had 2 towels, not even a half of roll of toliet paper. To top it off while leaving with our children they had a used condom outside on the walkway. Thankfully it was just one night as we was passing through.

This was by far a mistake to stay here! Rooms was nasty with nasty bed sheets! Room was hot! Didn't have much toilet paper are bath towels, and the kicker was walking to our truck to find a used condom on the ground, mind you we had our kids with us! NEVER AGAIN!

I've been calling around and researching for an hour to find a hotel that allows an 18 year old to check in. So excited to find this one, however when I called to double check, the woman who answered the phone was pretty rude. She cut me off immediately to announce they had no open availabilities when I just asked for an age requirement then hung up.

Red Roof Inn in Pensacola Florida is a clean room newly renovated, well slightly renovated they got a new sign features, new lighting and I put new paint on the walls and added new bedding and new furniture but overall is the same Red Roof Inn has been here for over 20 years.

Okay for price. Low water pressure in shower and toilet. Door lock got stuck a few times too.

Rooms were nice, staff was nice. Nice place for a quick stay!

Friendly staff willing to take care of your needs. Rooms are decent with modern TVs. They do keep safes in the room and charge a refundable safe fee.

The rooms were good for the price and the hotel was clean. The housekeeping didn't supply enough towels and the shower curtain needed replaced. But overall good workers and a nice stay.

The customer service was really helpful and nice came down to pensacola for one day, great price and nice neighborhood and im used to staying at laquintas but this red roof was not bad at all. Very impressed.

Room is very clean and the beds are comfortable. It is also near the airport, making it a good place for overnight stays.

This is where the drug dealers and hookers hang out. Security patrols the lot. The room was Filthy. The walls had gunk all over them, the carpet smelled lime urine, the furniture was broken and the extra safety latch for the door was missing. Did not complete my three night stay there.

DO NOT STAY HERE! They have bed bugs no matter what room they move you to. I stayed in 2 different rooms and the same problem… The manager is never there to make a complaint to I've been leaving messages Lori Brown never call back… I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE! Unless ur just nasty… A lot of illegal activity going on here also!

The room did not smell that good and the bed sheets were not to clean I was to tired to look for something else 3 star because the service was good enough.

Was NOT worth it even at $60! I stayed here with my family after along drive through storms from Austin, TX. The room smelled musty and pungent with pee. The carpet felt dirty and grimy. The toilet and floor in bathroom was dirty, I took pictures to prove it! The ceiling light was not working. The ice machine was out of order. If it wasn't so late and we weren't so tired from the drive we would've changed rooms.

Good place for night. Good for money, clran enough.

This place is an ideal place to stay at. The ac works great and the room was neat and tidy. No sign of roaches or bed bugs. Slightly tiny but hey it had a decent price tag — plus the room smelled like peaches! Convenient outlets. But the shower head was kinda jank but it worked fine and got the job done and the door seal was jank too. Kinda sketch but hey, there are a lot more sketchier ones. The staff was nice, the lobby was clean. Recommend.

My son and I, and then my sister, stayed at this inn the first week of May, 2015. We were there a few days, for a family reunion. Though my son had a problem with his room, it was resolved and neither my sister nor I had any problems at all with our rooms. It was clean and very quiet. I slept well and seldom do in a motel. I would book here again, should I return to Pensacola.

My grandma work there don't try them they ain't got no bugs or mold y'all must be the one with the mold and bugs so if you don't like it you can get to hiking.

My BF stayed for a week on a business trip, here's what he had to live with! Roach motel, with a courtesy condom wrapper, not the condom, just the wrapper between the sheets! Not even so much as a "sorry" from management when reported and ask for the sheets to be changed. Daily housekeeping consist of making the bed, not changing the sheets, and throwing some clean towels on the bathroom sink. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THIS ROACH MOTEL! Just trying to help future victims :).

This hotel was absolutely horrible. Upon check In, the lobby smelled like cigarettes and the room I was supposed to stay in was full of mold on the walls and doors. There was dirty linen on the sink countertop and a Kleenex was stuck in the peep hole. When I went to the lobby I was only asked if I wanted another room, and my room had already been charged to my card (not supposed to be done until checkout). I said that I would not stay at this hotel and the receptionist gave me a receipt with no confirmation number on it for confirmation of cancellation. I had to go back to the office to ask for a confirmation number. Overall, this was a horrible experience and I WILL NOT STAY in another Red Roof Inn.

Such a nice place! It really exceeded my expectations. It took me a long time to choose a motel for Pensacola, because it seemed that all of them were either way over-priced or they had horrible reviews. This one had alright reviews and a good price, so it's the one I chose, and I was really pleased with it! The room was very clean, it looked new and in good condition, and the staff was friendly and professional. Keep in mind that the price is low because it's minimal — it's a bed, bathroom, shower, A/C, TV, and Wi-Fi. There are rooms with a fridge and microwave for a higher price, but if you need someplace with a pool, continental breakfast, laundry, or a restaurant, you'll need to go elsewhere. I was staying for four nights and needed a clean, comfortable bed and a clean, undisturbed place to work during the day, and this place suited my needs very well. I would stay there again if in the area.

After reading several reviews, my room was better then expected. Clean, contemporary, with very comfortable beds. Obviously an older building, but well maintained. I had the deluxe room. Flat screen tv, microwave, fridge, all working fine. Very quiet property with nice grounds. Wifi connection was solid. Would stay again.

Practically no amenities at this hotel, but I only used the room as a place to sleep before moving on to Port St. Joe. The bathroom floor wasn't very clean, but everything else was adequate. It's in a fairly quiet place, but not very close to the beach. Overall, a nice budget place to stay as long as you don't have to stay long.
