Fun place, good music helpful staff and great food!

Dirty, no service, unfriendly, no housekeeping, no fresh towels, no garbage disposal, run down rooms, pool dirty, all in all not worth a star…

I’ve never been one to leave reviews, especially bad ones. But BUYER BEWARE with this hotel. Worst experience ever in a hotel.
I’ll start by saying they have no staff barely. There’s no receptionist or anyone to speak to in person if you need help. You have to call them.
It was 11:30pm, my friend and I went to down to the pool because we could see there were people still swimming. Sure enough all the gates were open and it looked like there were about 10 people swimming and enjoying themselves. Because there’s barely any staff we assumed they must just leave it open all night. Well then this lady comes banging on the gate. Because of the banging with her keys in her hand you can’t understand what she’s saying. So everyone just continued to stay in the pool. Well, about 15 mins later she comes back and just starts locking the gates without saying a word. So now we’re locked in the pool area. She then has the nerve to call the cops on us. She LIED to the cops and said she told us 3 times to get out. We had no choice but to hop the fence. Suppose I hurt myself having to jump the fence? Because she certainly didn’t come back to let us out. Then I call her and let her have a piece of my mind. She calls back and says well there’s a sign that says pool closes at 10pm. Welp, first of all I didn’t see it and secondly why was the pool left open? Such a joke.
We have encountered a gross room. No lights in the room but one bulb.

I have been a travel agent for years and I have to say this hotel has by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never book a client here ever again. I would rather sleep with roaches than deal with their staff's horrendous abuse of myself, my client, and the Expedia agents who were trying to help us. They are crooks and their policies are garbage and meant to steal from unsuspecting customers. They avoided calls and emails from expedia for multiple days to ensure it was past the point to modify vacation dates and stole money from my client. For days she did not stay at this hotel. Avoid at all costs! Possibly the shadiest place to stay in America. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible.

Unaware of construction going on at hotel. No where on website did they mention it. You don’t have access to all facilities and they charge you a fee per night for them. Construction dust and material all around. Garbage left in front of our room. We called and complained they switched rooms for us. The next night seemed okay until about 5:25am when a room decided to have which seemed to be a party. Loud music and the smell of marijuana seeping into our room. When we called the front desk at first there was no answer for a few. Finally after calling again the guy didn’t seem to understand or could careless. He said he didn’t hear anything. He gave no effort. Told us that he came and knocked on the door which was not the case because we were waiting for him. This hotel and some staff just don’t have the knowledge of customer service and don’t really care about the well being of their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Pictures are not what they seemed to be online either.

Went there about 7 years ago for my honeymoon. Loved it, it was clean and everyone was friendly. I wanted to go back this year, for my anniversary however, no rooms are available I am sad. I would recommend this place, maybe if I keep checking there will be a room open lol…

I stayed in this hotel in March and it was an amazing experience! Every member of the staff, from the cleaning lady to the manager and waitstaff, was incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well decorated. The room was nice and clean, and the restaurant breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to the hotel is a yummy sushi restaurant with bottomless mimosas on Sundays. The hotel is also very close to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Reserve and the beach. If you’re in Boca Raton, I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. You’ll leave refreshed and relaxed.

If you like staying at a place that is not properly stocked for you stay and being told you have to get your own towels from across the hotel property, then this is a great place to stay. How can a family of four properly shower with two towels.? We will definitely find a different place to stay next time we're in town.

My family and I spent a few nights at the Boca Raton Plaza Hotel & Suites in Boca Raton. We came for a time of relaxation and worked away from home. Our experience with the staff was great, especially the assigned housekeeper. The housekeeper took great care of our room daily. The customer service staff were vigilant in making our stay enjoyable. Also, during our visit, we meet some lovely guest and had pleasant conversations with them.

Love this hotel, it's so relaxing. However, the front desk girl could use some people skills. Eating while checking in was unprofessional. Pretty much felt like I was bothering her when I was checking in. She didn't even look at me. I was talking to other guests who said the same. Tiffany, on the night shift was very kind and helpful, though.

Very unprofessional and rude staff. My friend was approved for a 12pm noon check out instead of the normal 11am. At 11:30am the house keeper rudely came barging into the room. She stated that she was not told of a late check out and "needed to leave. " This was followed by an even more rude call by the person currently at the front desk stating there was not note of a late check out. Even though it was approved first thing in the morning. Rooms are adequate at best. There are much better places to stay locally for the cost. Do not stay here.

Never been the type to leave reviews but felt compelled to say that my experience here was amazing. Everyone was pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile. Questions were answered any concerns were addressed immediately.

I loved the facilities. Pool was beautiful. Room was nice, loved tiki bar, food was good. Staff was atrocious. Front desk was rude, waitresses also, only 2 stars are for property. Still waiting on a refund 2 weeks later, not family friendly. Also saw cops and shady characters at night. People live there?! Not sure … too may properties near there for that kind of treatment!

The lobby was beautiful. The pool was nice as well. The tiki bar was awesome. Tonya at the tiki bar was fantastic. She made a bad experience into a great night. The bad was the rooms. You can see entry door has gaps where not lined up and sealed. The bath room needs work and carpet and floors need replaced. The patio door need replaced as the whole room is supposed to be remodeled and the only remodeling is new paint that has a bad paint job. We complained about the room when we first arrived and they offered another room that was just as bad so we kept what we had. Had problems with waitress Kat as she does not understand that a guest does not want to wait 25 — 30 minutes after they are done for the bill. A big scene was made. Danielle listened to complaint and assured us this would be corrected. We left some suggestions for improvements in hopes that they listened. The tiki bar is like a neighborhood bar with great friends that we met and enjoyed talking to Irene. When I think of the tiki bar, Tonya and Irene I want to come back. But then I think of the room and bad experience with Waitress and I say no. Also with exception of one desk clerk they were nice. With all the complaints we had they did nothing except state they are going to take care of it. The restaurant food was good the waitress was rude. Other staff was nice. If they clean up rooms and improve on a few attitude this could be a nice place. If you try make sure to go to the tiki bar even if you don’t drink.

We love this hotel and the staff are so kind! Very clean! However, this past time we experienced a homeless man hanging out by the pool (around 9pm) and digging through peoples things. Need a little more security out there! Or maybe a way to verify that you're a paying guest.

Our stay here was excellent! The rooms and facilities were very clean and the room was quite spacious. The restaurant on site was also great. The price per night is more than fair for the service offered. This is a hidden gem of a hotel and if you're staying in the area I'd definitely recommend it.

This seems like a 60s hotel renovated maybe in the 90s. Bedrooms are clean. Bed was very comfortable. Shower water was dirty and wouldn't drain. They took a $100.00 deposit (which was refunded after stay) on my room up front for reasons I don't understand. There's nothing in the room worth $100 other than a damage deposit. Rooms open up to outside like a motor lodge.

Nice affordable hotel. They have spent a lot money and tome into the lobby and surrounding areas. Rooms are a little weird. Cables running everywhere, two TVs in the same room (? ) I guess to each two shows at once and you select which one you wanna listen to? Some rooms = no windows. Our fridge did seem to leak something out underneath it one morning and it was cleaned up but I don’t think it was fixed. The fridge did also smell like milk was spilt in it and just wiped up. No breakfast.

Loved it! I’ve never felt the need to sit on a hotel room porch before, but ours was so pretty I couldn’t resist! The hotel restaurant was good too.

Nice getaway place. The restaurant has a great menu and the food is really good. There was karaoke senior citizen band that kept things lively. They rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were nice and not too soft or hard. Lovely staff.

First the room was above noisy A. C. Units, the toilet continually flushed until my husband fixed it temporarily. The toilet seat had a burn mark, although it was no smoking in rooms. The paint was seriously peeling off the closet doors. Bed was uncomfortable as was the couch. My daughter was sick and I requested a late checkout so she could sleep until we returned from church (it is Easter) instead of 11 wanted 12 and was told absolutely not, the hotel was fully occupied. That was a lie. I saw a man come in and get a room around 9:30am for that night until Tuesday. I also saw many empty rooms the night before on a walk, shades were open, it was obvious. Desk staff was really rude about refusal for late checkout. My daughter said no one came in room at 11:00 checkout time. She stayed in room until about 11:20 anyway. They cant clean every room at the same time. It was not good customer service, won't ever go back.

If you stay in the main building, the rooms are better and quieter. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site has really good food and great staff.

Visited the restaurant in the hotel, "My Place" which has excellent food and reasonable prices. The hotel looked very nice so our next trip to Boca, in April, we are going to stay at the hotel and see how we like it.

This hotel could have been very nice. What brought it down was the dirty carpet. And dated furniture. Also… the cleaning of the rooms was very ad hoc. Some of the staff were super friendly while some others did not look too happy and wanted you to know they were not happy. Not what you expect in the US.

The best of the area… we have lived very nice moments here.
It is an excellent place to rest… the. Rooms are very comfortable… good beds… cozy… nice bathrooms… good television… the. Kitchen is tiny but has coffee… microwave and Minibar… hair dryer and iron… besides closet and safe the pool area is very beautiful and quiet. They also have an excellent bar and restaurant… beautiful lobby and leave you tidy bedroom… Wii… lift… free ice machine and laundry… besides the gym.

This place is awful! It is a dump and deserves to less than 1 star. The room smells the floor carpet it's old and the window curtains and decor are old and dated. The mattress is also old and the pillows are cheap and flatten as soon as your heads hits them. Tha shower head had a weak stream and the bath did not drain well. I almost want to run outta here but I came in on a busy weekend and all other area hotels are all booked. Would not recommend this place at all! This place feels unsanitized and unhealthy.

Totally fantastic stay over Christmas! Our first Christmas away from the U. K. As well. We picked this hotel as a bolt hole near to wear our son and daughter in law live as it was a very decent price for Christmas. We had a lovely room for myself, my husband and 6 year old son. Very clean (which is a major importance to me). Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, especially Danielle and Maurice on reception. … We ended up eating quite a lot in Our Place for breakfast and some evening meals and I couldn’t fault it. Good price, good service and good food. Our 6 year old spent so much time in the pool he moved up a group in swimming lessons when we got home. The area was fine for us. You need a car but there are shops in walking distance (us Brits walk everywhere! The beach is a 20/25 min walk which we did too! If we go back to Boca we will definitely stay with you guys again Love from Helen, Stewart and Dylan.

Stayed in room 311 Bathroom sink clogged w water after using. Kith sink clogged w water after using. Sliding door to balcony is ready to separate from wall. Plenty of pubic hair for every guest. Not ours. Don’t spend your vac dollars w this dump.

This is not a hotel; it is a motel; rooms are accessed from outside. The room had uncleaned toilets and water damaged luan doors. Ice maker was out of service and no coffee, clock or writing pads was provided. This hotel is old and it looks it. It took 14 minutes for hot water to get to this room. Website shows beautiful rooms but I saw no evidence of anything other than a run-down, overpriced motel. Staff was friendly but I would not recommend staying there.

This is a repeat visit for us. The room is fine. The front desk at check in was not very friendly but others working there since have been better. The restaurant has been good morning and night, with good customer service.

Very nice and comfortable room. Bed was wonderful. A/C leaked onto carpet and they didn't fix it or change our room; key card reader on door didn't work and had to be manually let in; they didn't change our room, maybe they were completely full. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff.

Did not like the place at all. The front desk was very rude. The bathroom I stood in the tub and water squished out from the bottom and it smelled like sewage. Ask the cleaning lady about the tub and getting another room and she said all the tubs were like that. There was constantly water on the balcony from the air conditioning dripping. When I ask for a discount because I wasn't able to shower because of the stench in the bathroom. The front desk lady fought me tooth and nail and did not want to give me any sort of compensation until another person walked in to rent a room. Then she gave me a $10 a night discount because I wasn't able to bathe just to get rid of me to rent another room to someone behind me. A lot of weird characters coming and going it sure seemed like it was just a rent a room by the hour situation. The place really needs to be shut down and overhauled in a big way.

They totally forgot my wake-up call in which I lost the job interview that I was going to be going for so my suggestion is if you're looking for a cleanliness and punctuality and proper room service treatment from the front desk this is not your place.

Good place nice bar and restaurant but would love Wi-Fi or being comp something for not being told that is out before checking in.

We spent a week and the housekeeping ladies are very welcoming. If you book online you get a great price. Cost $300. Plus $100. Deposit. Rooms booked online are in the older building. Rooms are clean. Only trouble I can think of was all A/C units leaves water across the outside hallways. Just be careful walking. They have a restaurant and bar within and by the pool is a Tiki bar. Locals and visitors alike are nice. Enjoy yourself and relax.

I travel a lot. And this was indeed one of the cleanest places I have ever seen for the price. I would highly recommend it.

The lobby and common area are sleek and renovated. The balcony entrance guest rooms are can but shabby. Bath and shower out dated. At least there's a tiny fitness room with televisions yet outdated treadmills and stationary bikes. I didn't have a chance to try the tiki bar and pool. It's not a destination l. More like a place to flop while visiting friends or relatives. Adequate.

My hotel room was clean and up-to-date, the outdoor pool is heated to a very comfortable temperature it also has a hot tub. The tiki bar was enjoyable for a quick drink. The Our Place restaurant in the hotel had a great atmosphere the servers were kind, the food came our quick and was delicious. The wings are the best!

The hotel was old but somewhat refurbished. My door knob for the room was falling off and the paint on the walls were chipped. The bed wasn't very comfortable. However, my room was very spacious.

It's nice & quiet place the rooms are decent house keeping is not so friendly. But besides that is I liked it. Front desk only guys are nice &try to help u out &answer all kind of questions.

I stayed there last night. I arrived after driving a long distance and was very tired. I just wanted to shower and collapse in my room and go to sleep. I opened the door looked in the bathroom there were dirty towels on the floor the shower was not clean, 8hair in the tub. There was trash and a dirty towel on the sink. The rest of the room was very clean and neat. However, I went to the front desk they send housekeeping out to redo the bathroom. They got it right the second time, I will not be back.

I do not recommend this hotel. Room quality was much lower than expected. There were people being abusive to each other and screaming at the parking lot on 2 of the nights we stayed there. Didn't feel safe. Staff was pretty absent. I don't think this hotel should be part of Hotwire selection.

Staying at the Plaza for a few weeks while house hunting. The staff is great, very friendly and they have a good little restaurant with a tiki bar! However the free unlimited Wi-Fi is straight up awful! It's unbearably slow and your better off using your mobile data. The rooms are spacious and clean though the TVs are very small for the room. All in all not a bad place to stay.

The hotel is not bad, quite clean and cared for. The facility is a bit old, but I didn't find any problems.

Very nice place I hear that the restaurant especially for breakfast is very very good according to the local people I know here. There was plenty of good hot water in the shower the rooms and the bathroom was very very clean and the tmobile wireless data speed was about 40 megabits per second. There was a very good safety handhold in the shower. I was in the North Building which may or may not be newer but my room is very clean and the mattresses were comfortable the room was not big but it was adequate.

Very nice place, however during my stay renovations were taking place and the control of debris and dust was minimum… but overall it was a good place. Linen was replaced daily. Rooms were quite spacious, and the price was very fair. Was satisfied with my stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights 3 days in may and I was very well pleased with the hotel entirely. I hosted a small party in one of the rooms and it was amazing. The room was clean, the ac was NOT loud. The staff is soooo nice, the housekeeper was very welcoming and she gave us extra things we needed. The pool is heated, the jacuzzi was nice. The fitness room was very simple and I was pleased. I love how close this hotel is from denny's and it's literally minutes away. The front desk help was very nice as well. Now what I didnt like at all was that early one morning the loud as$ fire alarms went off for almost ever all because a person was smoking in a non smoking room. That ruined my morning, glady that was turned around asap. Also the manager or whoever in charge of lost and found sucks. My husband lost his SOCIAL SECURITY CARD in the room and its been months and staff never responded to our calls. That is rude and completely unprofessional. Also the parking is snugged.

Good service, the pool and jacuzzi are not so bad.
The gym is minimal. This quite close to shops, gas station not far from the beach.
