Really nice and clean. Many restaurants near.

Nice and clean everybody's wearing masks standard distance good breakfast yada yada yada.

The staff was horrible and rude. No COVID precautions were taken at breakfast area. Room was moldy and had a roof leak, the water from the ceilings keep dripping on our heads as we ate dinner. I left a previous review through my IGH rewards and the manager made false claims saying I did not stay at the property with my reward points and that they had spoken to my husband and he apologized for my actions but my husband said that is unprofessional unacurrate and there was nothing to apologize for except for how rude and unprofessional and unclean the hotel was that we were staying at for a fathers day getaway. This hotel and staff including manager is horrible, horrible, horrible, do not stay here.

Very nice and clean. Breakfast is best ive seen in a long time. Pool was closed for painting but I think I would have not done it on a saturday in a full house.

First time using hotel towels and sleeping on the sheets. I love this hotel. I always walk with my towels and bed sheets, this time I did not have to use them. Keep up the good work!

Whenever I visit family in the DeLand area, my mother and I tend to stay here, at the Holiday Inn. We both love staying here, and the hotel is always kept up. Checking in early sometimes is a breeze, because usually, hotels don't allow early check-in or they might charge a fee. I've had to check-in early twice on two different trips, and was never charged an early check-in fee. The breakfast is awesome, and is one of the perks of staying in any Holiday Inn franchise hotel. Since I like to sleep in, I'm usually the person to eat last. The breakfast bar offers a lot of options from food to drinks. It's a great and healthy start to your day as well. I definitely suggest any and everyone to stay at the Holiday Inn Orange City location!

My stay was really nice. The rooms were very clean with all you need necessities such as hair dryer and microwave and refrigerator. Coffee maker in room was nice. Breakfast was good and the cinnabon sweet rolls were a really nice extra. The customer service was very polite and helpful aswell.

Great place to stay. Rooms nice and clean. Pool just the right size. Breakfast was perfect many choices. Close to highway but didn't hear any car noises. Close to gas station and restaurants. Walking distance so after a couple of hours in the car it was just what was needed. Not too far of a walk but just enough to shake off the sore back side.

Super nice staff. We had to change our reservations and length of stay several times and there was never a problem. Beds are a bit softer than we prefer but that was only glitch to multiple day stays.

My home away from home while visiting family and friends in Florida. Professional and courteous staff. Always feel welcome when we visit. Keep up the good work.

We typically only stay at Holiday Inn Express… just a word to the wise… make sure they are not having a wedding or any other type of loud function because if you are on floor 2, you will hear EVERYTHING and management won't tell you up front. So if your tired and ready to relax you will have to hear thumping music if they are unable to move you to another room or if you don't choose to leave. Not happy with this location. No apology, no discount offered, no apology for not telling us up front… what a great anniversary night I had.

The staff is friendly hall wall smells fresh. Bed rooms are comfy ac works. Only downside I think is the pool area to small.

There are only two hotels that I stay at Holiday Inn Express is one of them the kids enjoyed the pool we enjoyed our food for breakfast the cleaning staff was okay do not speak too much English. Building was clean and cool.

I stayed on this hotel for one night with my friends. I was relief that it is well located, since we were just girls staying over, so we felt safe. Is very close to the highway, and there are many options to eat around. The personnel was very polite and helpful and breakfast was good enough.

This hotel definitely deserves 5 stars. I have stayed in it for events at Daytona International Speedway and have had a good experience every time. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are amazing; almost better than my bed at home. The staff is also friendly, and you're greeted with nice brick architecture around a chimney as you walk in the door. I highly recommend it!

The worst holiday day inn express ever was told this morning for the first time ever in a holiday inn express that they didn’t have to give me a coffee until 6:30 then I said that that was unsatisfactory then can I get a milk and a yogurt an was told that they don’t unlock case until 6:30 and they don’t have too omg then was told to shut my mouth by they person working there in broken English just in the last 14 weeks have stayed in holiday day inns and never received this kind of service hell the last on the person was very acomadating made me feel at home but not here and the room is half the size I don’t no how they are keeping a franchise here.

Very spacious rooms with a good assortment of pillow types. Breakfast is included and is a very busy with guests in the morning. Located right off of Interstate 4. About the halfway point between Daytona & Orlando. On-site pool, workout room, and meeting rooms.

They were super sweet and left the breakfast open a few minutes for me to get breakfast since I have such a hectic schedule… most places tear it down a couple minutes before… they care! Everything was hot and fresh. It was fully stocked. It’s taken care of with ♥️! The room was immaculately clean. It smelled nice even the heater sme…lled nice (because most hotel — heaters stink when you turn them on but they keep them clean) The beds are super comfy and the linens are soft. The room was very spacious and it came with a Keurig, microwave, and large refrigerator. Towels were large, soft, and smelled fresh.
Water pressure was nice the hot water was nice and hot. With the toilet, I had to hold down the handle while it flushed but I was on the top floor.
It was easy to get in and out of. It’s near the interstate but the hotel is quiet! There is a gas station right beside it so if you need anything it’s easily to walk to.
Alex is SUPER, Janay (I may have misspelled that) breakfast girls, housekeepers everybody was super nice… and the overnight girl (I did not get her name), she made me a grab and go bag and she was super sweet and even called me to check on me because I ran late that morning. I loved it! Great Job!

Check in was quick and easy. The room had 2 queen beds and they provided a crib for the baby. Room was fairly quite and we'll maintained, the only problem was the tub drain needs to be replaced the stopper would not stay up. Breakfast was good and check out was a breeze.

The place only had 1 of 2 elevators working for the week I was there, which can slow things down. There was also no sign of anybody working on the broken one the whole time indicating a culture of not caring about maintenance within the hotel. Other than that, it’s your standard holiday inn. AC is frosty.

Very nice rooms. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff is very friendly. A little higher prices but it's definitely the best in the area.

The banquet room was a reasonable price and the manager was very nice and caring.

Spacious room. Plenty of amenities — 24 hr gym, small pool and hot tub, a below average breakfast but with a ton to choose from. Very nice for a fairly cheap and clean stay for my family on way to our Disney Vacation.

Love the cleanliness. Breakfast was good and Beatriz was very friendly. She kept the pancakes coming. The pool would be great if it was heated. All night coffee would also be nice. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay at.

The staff was very nice and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast is included with your stay but none of us cared for the meal. The service was great but the food not so good.

Comfortable night sleep and clean. Our room had been recently reappointed so everything was clean and a great shape for this chain hotel/motel. Located just off Interstate 4 it's close to all the box stores and amenities of DeBary. It's just a 15 minutes away from the Central Florida zoo and within 30-40 minutes of other great places to day visit: DeLand, Winter Park & Mount Dora some small towns with character.

Wait a second, the website boasts, "Our luxurious hotel… ". Doncha think that's slightly misleading? It's extremely misleading! This small hotel, directly on Saxon and I4, behind Racetrack (gas station) is not luxury. It's okay for a night or two, when hotels aren't having a price war or if Daytona's sold out. I wouldn't pay any more than $98.00 night. The pictures on the websites do not appear to be of location. That is not their pool; I'm looking at the dirty, debris filled pool as I type. The rooms are extremely dated and tired. I've stayed here a few times and was terrified to walk barefoot on the dirty carpet. Housekeeping slides the vacuum in the door, of every other room, makes two, five foot passes, and off they go. I do appreciate that the cookie cutter HIX breakfast, I normally aviod, offers wrapped options, trays, and bags! Normally I get a perplexed stare when I ask for either a "to go bag" or a tray. "YOU WANT A BAG?! WHY!? " Such a small request. The common areas are clean and cheerer than the other HIX's favored institutional motif. Most of their breakfast areas have you feeling as though you're eating in a state mental institution and next you will line up for meds. The room's walls/doors are paper thin. You hear everything no matter what, everything. The jacuzzi room, that receives a few mentions, is straight out the 80's and doubles as a shower floor.

Not my best stay but nice overall services! I recently stayed here for 3 nights with some friends and enjoyed the stay. The pool is small but they have a hot tub. The roll out bed I slept on was kind of painful but I've slept on worse. The room service was prompt daily and neat. As would be expected from any hotel. The breakfast selection wasn't very big and there wasn't really many choices which is disappointing. Clean facility overall from what I could See and decently fast Wi-Fi. Though connecting to it and it's reliability was mediocre. It would disconnect me at random times but I can tolerate it.

Worst stay! Mold in rooms, large group of people (20-30 people) yelling and shouting. Eating rice all the floor. Staff isn't great. Asked for room service yesterday still waiting for them to come. Don't recommend to stay here.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were amazing! It looked like they had a pretty good breakfast selection, however we did not eat there because we met with family at another location. This hotels pricing was well worth the money spent!

Love Holiday Inn Express. Hotel is very clean with the most comfortable beds. The hot breakfast is delicious! We stayed here to go enjoy the day at Blue Springs and it was conveniently close by.

Average hotel in the $100 range. Room was decent, great amenaties. Pool was nice and very clean and had nice hot tube. Nothing too special though. All areas were well kept and staff was courteous. Wish price was better but still a great stay.

Delux Room haha. Everything was falling apart and filthy. AC so loud you couldn't sleep and the front of the unit fell off several times. Refrigerator was missing a leg so when opened it leaned forward and contents fell out. The whirlpool tub sounded like a construction site when turned on. Light fixtures missing covers. And the carpet was just plain nasty. I could go on but I believe point made. And yes, this was supposed to be a top of the line room. My advice is stay far far away from this place. We won't be back.

Convenient location, clean updated rooms, didn't try breakfast though it is complimentary. Doors say they lock after a certain time, they don't, so if security is very important you might want to confirm they fixed it.

Great hotel. Everything is clean, staff is friendly, and we slept like babies. Holiday Inn isn't the same chain it was 10 years ago. We were very happy and surprised. We will return here on future trips to the area.

I stayed for one night during a long drive. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of pillows of different firmness. The Wi-Fi was free. They were also generous with the free breakfast. Overall a good night's rest before getting back on the road.

One star is tooooo much! If I could have given a Zero I would have. After sitting on the interstate for 5 hours because of a 5 car pile up, my minor son and myself were thrilled to finally arrive at our hotel at 2 am. As we pulled in we were a little intimidated by the characters sitting around the front entrance, which I thought was a little strange, considering it was 2 am and quite chilly. As I went to check in I was told my credit cards were not an acceptable form of payment. (My Paypal credit card was one of them). I explained I had stayed before using the same cards and was then told it was because they were not physically backed by someone like Chase! Hmmmm, last time I checked Paypal was more secure than a lot of the banks! I then asked to speak to a manager but was told no one was available and he couldn't provide a number either. The front desk clerk offered no solution besides saying that's their policy, offering to send us some where else and directing me to call back tomorrow. I cannot tell you how many Holiday Inns I, or my family, have stayed at in my life but after this attempt I can assure you we won't again. After a slight panic, I went on Expedia found two local wonderful hotels in Orange city that both said they'd be more than happy to accommodate us. Not only did we get checked in immediately at the new hotel (with the same rejected credit card) we saved $49.00 a night for the EXACT same accommodations. Hmm. 3 nights X $49.

The front desk clerk, I can't seem to remember her name very unique name. The lady with the beautiful smile, when we arrived at the hotel it was pouring rain she offered us a fresh towel to dry off. Some how our reservation was made at a different location, she immediately called the hotel and cancel our reservation and got us a refund on it. She rocks! She bakes fresh cookies as well. Great service and hotel will be back.

Could not have asked for anything better! Jamie and Pete were fantastic along with the rest of the staff. We were in town for my fathers 80th birthday. There was about 30 of us — they gave us a block of rooms on the same floor and went out of their way to make sure we were all comfortable. They even allowed us to use the common breakfast area for the "Big Surprise" as my father had no idea that all his children, his grandchildren and great grandchildren were there. The rooms were clean and updated, the breakfast in the morning was wonderful with a wide variety of things to choose from. The special touch of hot from the oven chocolate chip cookies was the topper! Great Job Jamie and Pete, we will be back soon! Mary Albertini (Nelli Birthday Party)
