Was one of the worse experiences I ever had, there was 2 tv's in the room neither one didn't work, the floor was filth, they tried to charge me an extra $20 for clean linen, we had to buy our own toilet tissue, when I checked in I told them there will be 3 guest they didnt have blankets and covers for the let out couch… It was a mess! PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY…

This hotel is very close to the beach. However it's far from other attractions such as Lincoln road or the south beach volleyball courts. We have everything we need in the room. The bed is nice and big. Our room came with a stove and fridge. You will be pleased staying here.

Good place to stay. Be careful with some rooms that are not in good conditions and are very noisy.

This hotel was the worst hotel I have been to and stay in omg where can I start first off me and my family paid a month before hand to stay in a five person hotel when we got there they told us it wasn’t available even after we paid then made us wait four hours to only give us a one bedroom hotel for 5 people then after dealing with that they kept coming in are room messing with us telling us we could not have visitors even came in while we were undress Naked! And yelling at us threading to kick us out of are room we didn’t have any tails or rags the few we had we had to wash are self with are own money they wouldn’t give us enough tissue for the bathroom the floors were so dirty flys flying all around everyday it was so crazy and they would be so disrespectful we didn’t have a real breakfast it was only a donut and coffeee that’s it this hotel need to get shut down and they need to get all fired because they had this man just staying at us when they enter are hotel without are say and just looked at us naked like I have never felt so uncomfortable disrespected by a hotel employees in my life the lady even was touching are things and she even pushed my sister this hotel don’t deserve no stars but I couldn’t even post the review without putting something.

STAY AWAYY! This place is one othe worst places I have ever stayed in. This place is disgusting, my room was never cleaned after the last person who stayed there, throw up on the floor, glass in bed and the kitchen floor and pubic hair in my sheets. After complaining for hours they switched me to a “ supposedly better room” when I got in the new room the door was broken there was no hot water and no toilet paper or sheets and they didn’t fix the hot water until the following day and never brought any toilet paper. My vacation here has been a total nightmare! Please stay away from this place the photos dont even match what the rooms even look. This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star ratting.

The hotel is older. We got a 2 bedroom. The smaller bedroom had a good mattress but bad support. Pool is small but amenities are here. For the price… for the areas. Fair.

Don’t bother, save your money and go to a real hotel… Horrible service… The water in the hot tub was merky dark green the entire stay. We were there 5 days. Never again.

Would give zero stars if I could. We went for spring break and booked three separate rooms. Upon arriving during check in time, one of the rooms was not cleaned yet and we were forced to wait an hour after check in time for them to finish cleaning. The man at the front desk said they would give us a complimentary dinner due to this but failed to do so by the end of the trip. The rooms, even after a 'thorough cleaning' were very dirty, with crumbs and such on the floors. The shower/tubs were missing handles and needed a good deep cleaning. It felt very unsanitary. In one of our rooms, the bathroom did not have a door but rather a curtain and there was no shower curtain so we were forced to shower out in the open. The pull out couch was destroyed and the fake leather on the couches was pealing off. Additionally, there were nat-like flies in the rooms. There was construction in the main lobby of the "hotel" and the elevator buttons on the third floor did not light up, so you had to hope that the elevator registered what floor you wanted to go to (there were three floors). Overall, the mercury hotel is rather a motel and I would not recommend that anyone stay there. The only reason we did not switch hotels is because we could not get our money back for the 5 night stay. I ended up booking a hotel for one-night further down the street in order to take a good shower. Extremely disappointed with the experience here.

My room was dusty when I checked in. Also the towels didn't match and no soap in the bathrooms. The whirlpool in the hotel didn't work. Also for the first two days of my stay the cable in the room didn't work. Only thing that I enjoyed is that the hotel is located close to most attractions. This hotel did not meet my expectations.

Very good location Excellent decor and cleanliness. They were missing crockery, utensils and the receptionists were more willing to settle the complaints.

Unfortunately, being in a beautiful and turístic place, the services such as Wi-Fi cable are scarce and malfunction, as well as the maid service, they give that desire.

Good location, rooms were nice. Elevator license was expired.

Wonderful staffs who are always ready to help. Booked this hotel last minute and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. Hotel is near the beach and you can rent some beach umbrellas from the front desk.

Room clean pity that the staff do not make any effort in French near Beach and city center to get to the airport bus n 150 one street above.

The staff is awesome and very helpful. The 219 big more than enough mmm space. Only bad thing is parking I love how close it is to the beach. Car not really needed great shops all around.

That's a standard hotel with clean accommodation, nice staff and reasonable price.

I know this is the cheapest solution in South Beach, but when I was there I had the bad luck of having a night with a thunderstorm, and since I was at the last floor, we had water coming from the ceiling. When we told them that we had this problem, they looked surprised, they came to check and did absolutely nothing. Suggestion: ask NOT to be on the last floor to avoid this problem, if you wanna stay here!

I would give 10 stars if I could. We were displaced because of hurricane Irma. We came here because it was the only hotel with 1 vacancy. The staff here has been nothing short of amazing! They truly care for our wellbeing and have been the shining star on a very scary week for us. We dont know if we have a home to go home to but the 3 days we have spent here have been a Godsend! God bless the staff at the Mercury Hotel!

Ask for room 315! It is the best in the whole place!

Room number 315 was the best hotel experience I ever had! The staff was nice.

Had a great calm experience at the Mercury. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Price is right for the location. The building is doing renovations thru out the whole building so expect to see some modifications here and there. Recommended.

If I could leave no stars I would. This hotel was trash, the hotel looked nothing like how it looked in the pictures my friends and I wasted so much money. It is not worth it at all. Also they do not clean the room for you there were ants in our bed the bathrooms were dirty the room smelled like dead RAT. Our bathroom ceiling started to leak and the only thing they did was put a trash can in the middle of the bathroom. Nothing was fixed it was such a horrible experience I would never ever advise anyone to stay.

Worst place to stay, mold in the bathroom and shower. There are roaches in the rooms, the sheets are dirty. And when you ask you for room service for a room that you receive dirty, they try to charge you $35. My door wouldn't even lock, so the safety of the place is out the window. The pictures do not match the room that you get. The pool area is a mess and they close the pool early so don't even try to ask. The hallways smell like smoke and weed, the wall are very thin you can hear your neighbor and the people walking in the hallway. You can the hear the night club and the people yelling outside of the night club so Surely you won't get no sleep. The place is biggest false advertisement that I ever seen. The only thing that was good about the place was the pizza place in the back.

Didn't stay at the hotel, only came to check in at apt and get keys, but nice lobby, friendly staff.

Clean cool and great location. Front management staff very helpful. Parking can be pricey 20$ pay in advance all day 3 blocks away. 4$ hour in front of hotel, 2$per hour behind. So if you can do without a car and uber, bus or shuttle around in South beach I would!

Filthy place. Amenities are not working properly. Pictures on the website do not represent the reality at all. Furniture is broken, fridge is not working, bathrooms are dirty. Makes me wonder if anyone cleans it at all. Overall not a great place to stay. We could hear every noise from inside and outside of the hotel. If you are looking for a little cheaper place for a college crowd to party it's the right place for you. Not for families.

This hotel needs better people answering their phones, rude just hangs up on you before they know what you really wants, with a start like that I would not book or recommend any one there!

Nice place comfortable, parking should be close and free.

I am still in dispute with my bank over a 150$ deposit that I have yet to see from this hotel… I paid 226$ on my bank card and 300$ in cash to stay at this hotel in January for my Birthday weekend. It is now April and I have yet to speak to anyone from this hotel. I have spoken to Kim, Richard, and Chris. The location is nice of course but for me too many people had the code for the room I was staying in… I found things out of place in my room after coming back from a night out. I have contacted to Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Beru of Florida to report this hotel as fraud. And what makes this even worse the people who I came with got there 150$ deposit back in cash and they left 2 days before me.

I hated it it had bugs in the bed the air was broke the customer service was bad, the bed was hard the couch bed felt like a jail bed all springs.

This Hotel Words CAN NOT describe my exprience at this hotel! Lets start off driving up to hotel to unload my car the loading zone for the mercury hotel was occupied with a truck and bucks all over the place so I went to look for a parking spot for a hr. Entering the Hotel you see lobby once you open door you smell pinesol saw two men one with white hair and other he look hindu but I belive he was spanish, well I gave them my name they both were acting really weird when I check in no introduction they say parking 5 min away walking LIES 10-15 min away parking we had the Penthouse one of the guys toke us up to our room they dont use keys they use pin code, room was nice but as per website it said 2 bedrooms they refer the living room as bedroom we had a nice balcony but the doors did not lock so if heavy wind comes the doors will open we call the front desk told them if they could fix it they said no we said ok no problem 10 min later I hear someone coming up the stairs and it was maintance guy told him ask if I can help he said he coming to fix door well why he didnt knock? why he just random open the door walk upstairs there are guest here we are paying for staying.

What I wish I knew… We travel often and although it was the first time we used FlipKey we have used Homeaway and AirbnB. Of all the properties that we’ve rented, this was the first one we disliked. To be fair, the pictures on Flipkey correspond to the apartment and the location is great, but the negatives, on our family view, far outweighed the positives. Below is a detailed account and I certainly hope management and owner look into it: 1. Noise, Noise and Noise! The apartment is located above a trendy restaurant with a busy outside patio. The room’s window is directly above the patio where the buzz of people talking and laughing loudly can be heard until after 1:30am. After the restaurant closes, comes the cleaning! Then you hear employees talking loudly and moving, pushing and shoving tables and chairs on the patio to inside the restaurant, with no care at all for those sleeping in the building right above. I couldn't sleep until after 2:30 am most nights and I have a heavy sleep! To make matters worse, to the right of the building is a popular club “Story” which is busy and loud from Thursday to Sunday. On the Saturday we were waken up at 4:30am by a group of drunk clubbers enticing a fight near our window… How terrible to be waken up by a shouting fight at dawn! 2. Unsecured Miami Beach is known for above average crime rates and I felt unsecured by the lack of any system in the building besides a few video cameras.

Excellent location to go to ocean drive (3 blocks away) and the beaches of Miami beach (2 blocks away) and stroll along the Avenida Collins, close to everything
Good price, but nothing fancy in the room ideal for sleeping and nothing more.

At $65 per night this is a very good deal. However, I give the overall hotel a 2.5 stars for quality. Service is what you would expect at this level, the basics and nothing more. The quality of the rooms is lacking. The hotel is in a good area but needs updating. We were in a room near the club so we could here the music until the early morning. The pool is always in the shade, rooms need painting and present a dirty unkept look. On the positive beds are comfy, roomy room with a seperate couch, and there is a small frig. Overall not a horrible place but don't expect more than the basics and at the price I got it is a good deal.

Nice hotel especially based on some of the other hotels at South Beach. They've apparently done some renovations since last year. Carpet is nice in the hallways and the room was great. Beds were temperpetic and excellent. Cesar and Amy were very nice at the desk.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. I suppose I should have checked the Florida BBB, as there are 53 complaints against this hotel with only 1 of those taken care of by the hotel! The location of this hotel is quite a ways from 'downtown' miami beach (took me 1 hour to walk there). However, if this was the only problem this hotel had, it would not have bothered me. First of all, the carpet in the hallways looks as if it's had one too many college parties on it. When I came into my room (which I paid $120/night for) I found it small. The bathroom smelled a little of feet and moderately of urine. The radio was on and was broken so the only way to shut it off was to unplug it. The shades were ALL broken so they could not be moved up/down/open/closed. Since I was there for 5 days, I found out that the remote control didn't actually control the volume or channels on the TV and the microwave was just flat out not working, no mattery what plug I tried to plug it into. I told the front desk about my remote control and my microwave issues but neither were fixed during my stay. There's no breakfast or internet to your room, so don't ask. To add insult to injury they conveniently forgot or 'couldn't find' the buy 2 nights get one free advertisement under which I reserved the room and I had to argue at the end of my stay to try to get it. In the end, this stay cost me $100 more than what was promised me over the phone when I made my reservation.

I recently stayed at The Mercury South Beach (formerly Mercury Resort). The new manager was friendly &professional, and the hotel rooms were very comfortable and featured contemporary style furniture and decor. Below the hotel there is a great restaurant called NEMO. And the beach is only a 2 minute walk. For the quality and price, you cannot find a better deal in South Beach Miami.
