Very happy with our stay. Rooms are clean and well taken care of. Loved the many outlets available throughout the room. I did not like that our room only had a shower and no tub. If the hotel had a hot tub with their pool I wouldn't have minded, but it left me wanting something to help relax after being on my feet all day. Breakfast was definitely better than average, but not amazing. I would've liked more drink and fruit options. Other than quantity, the quality was decent for being free hotel food, but with as nice as the hotel and staff are, for some reason I was expecting a little more from breakfast. But still, I was satisfied. I definitely recommend and I look forward to coming again.

Weekend vacation very friendly and helpful staff. Especially the front desk. Great breakfast with lots to choose from. Was not to impressed with the room. Queen room very small. Pillows soft and flat. Nice bed and linens. Microwave needs to change takes forever to warm your food. Fridge was a pain in the ass getting open because it too tall in the closet its in therefore you have trouble to open it. Room doors needs door tracks under doors other guess can hear every move outside and inside. Even the hallway lights you can see under the door. Wonderful staff. Clean hotel.

Very clean room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They have a little store with snacks, drinks, and accessories. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

HOTEL: solid hotel, clean, nice and clean pool. Friendly staff. FOOD: food is nothing special. Don't expect too much here. LOCATION: direct at the beach. This is the best thing. Everything else: take your car to explore.

We visit this hotel every year. It is conveniently located to almost anything you would want to go do. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. It has been recently renovated since we visited last. The rooms are very nice and clean.

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Drawback is that the walls were too thin. You can hear the people in the hallway and the next room like they were in your room.

It's hard rating a hotel, everyone has different expectations. The bedding is no Westin experience, but if you know that going in, can you really dock points? Channel line up is poor, but at least I could connect my Fire TV. Others are restricted this. Breakfast was typical of the brand. Surroundings are new and fresh. Bathroom has controlled hot water at the sink, good for children, bad for adults.

Complimentary breakfast. Coffee was always hot, even at night. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Soft bed. Couldn't have asked for more.

I won't ever stay here again. They charged me for an extra room and it took several weeks and SEVERAL phone calls to get it corrected. This was my worst Hilton experience EVER. I called ahead of time time to see if I could check in ear the employee told me yes but once I arrived the person on duty would NOT accommodate me at all. She told me I would have to reserve another day however I had already booked for that day as it was 2:00 am so the app wouldn't let me book there or at any nearby property. I ended up sleeping in my car in the parking lot. She offered no resolution. As an Honors Member I don't feel like I receive anything extra and will taper off my usage once I have utilized all of my points with them.

The rooms and service was nice. Didn't care for the people at breakfast who used their fingers to help themselves to food. That was gross.

Phone was in unsetable Call front desk… she can't help So as I try to explain what it was this woman absolutely would not listen to me the customer. Aggravating yea Still no biggy. As she shut me up five times because she could not stop talking about things she had no idea about… talking over me that many times Pisses me off.

They are friendly and accommodating. Always in good spirits, very professional. My stay here was lovely and so is the Hampton itself. Breakfast was great! Adelle was especially sweet. She was a wealth of information for me during my stay and I enjoyed chatting with her all the time. I want to thank you all for being great at your job. People take notice.

One of the better Hampton Inn around. Room was nice (for a HI). In a good location with quick access to a couple of major roads. Equal distance from downtown Jville and the beach. Free breakfast and lunch bag for all. Some negatives. Views from hotel are very poor though because you are surrounded by a gas station and an apartment complex. Pool is small and outdoor. Gym is small with no weights and maybe just 1 treadmill and bike. Overall worth the money, but don't expect more than a 3-star hotel experience. 4/5

Awesome place! Very neat and tidy room. Extremely modern! Loved it! I was surprised with how cheap it was too. Guess that's all depending what time of year you stay though.

Great staff and good rooms. The high ceiling on the first floor rooms are great! I felt right at home and the location was perfect.

They are still renovating this hotel, but we have stayed there twice (Jan 2017 and June 2017) and both times our room was clean, comfortable, beds & pillows were comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, front desk staff very helpful. My only complaint would be that the rooms are somewhat small. But if you are really only there to sleep, the rooms are fine. If you are planning on spending significant time in your room then you may get a little claustrophobic.

Great staff members! Great breakfast and pool is cleaned every time I have went out to swim! My room was very clean and they cleaned it every day! I only wished they keep the hot tub but other that it was a great experience! :)

Great personal, very clean rooms, and comfortable matresses and pillows. Great complementary breakfast, everything was fresh and great coffee. I was mislead when I made the reservation. Their are no rooms with two queen beds and sofa bed. In the future, this property would be my first pick in this part of Jacksonville. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

Service was great but due to the large event that we attended it looked like they weren't ready for the amount of people booking rooms. 1 guest was sent to our room (around midnight) by mistake. Our ac is in poor condition but functions. The room was clean and staff was very happy to assist us with anything we had issue with. I'd stay here again but they should be more prepared for large events in the area! (And not send guests to the wrong room at midnight! )

Very nice Hampton Inn. Convenient to the highway and easy to get in and out of. The parking is sufficient and the hotel is well maintained. I don't know how new this particular hotel is but it feels brand new. The rooms were very clean an bed was comfortable. I would say this hotel is a little more than you'd expect from your typical Hampton Inn.

Lobby smelled like body odor. Our toilet wouldn't flush properly, so we were provided with our own plunger. Not a bad stay but the little things count too.

The beds were hard but the duvet was soft. The place was clean and customer service was very good. Free breakfast buffet was extreme! Large selection! Over all I would stay there again.

Great place to stay. Only complaint for me are the beds are little to firm for me but that's just me. Great breakfast in the mornings.

Do not waste your time or money staying here. I had the unfortunate displeasure of staying at this "establishment" (for lack of a better word). I reserved a room with my HHonors # and had a late check in. A clue to what type of stay I was in for should have been when I called to confirm my reservation and the woman at the counter answered the phone with nothing more than a hello and a confused tone of why I was calling. She informed me that, " oh yeah, I already checked you in" when I called to verify. Once I arrived, no one was at the front desk, in fairness it was 4 o'clock in the morning… why would a hotel clerk be at the desk? After searching the lobby for someone to assist me, I was checked into my FIRST room for the night (morning). Once I entered the room I set my bags down and immediately checked the beds. I pulled back the sheets and discovered hairs in BOTH beds. Hair was on the sheets (on the bed and where the pillows were). I called the front desk and informed the woman at the desk. She apologized and offered a different room. I gathered my belongings, exited the FIRST room, and headed back downstairs to the lobby. I was given another key to a different room, but on the same floor. After entering the 2ND room I checked the beds again and, thankfully, found no hairs. I set my belongings down and entered the bathroom to take a shower and discovered HAIR once again. This time the hair was on the floor and the toilet.

Location is good for EverBank field. Friendly staff, but the hotel needs an update as it is aging.

Room phone, air conditioner, vending machines, door and card readers were all broken to some extent. The staff was mostly pleasant when speaking to guests, however I heard several of the front desk staff complaining to each other (presumably during shift change) about guests requesting to change rooms and what the cleaning staff encountered. This seemed highly unprof.

Stopped by on the way to Disney. Everything went smoothly, breakfast was great, no hassle with any services!

The rooms are really nice and affordable. Perfect for a few nights stay. The breakfast crew is extremely friendly, as well as the desk staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

If I was yall I wouldnt go back they dont change their sheet an covers everyday.

I have been to this hotel 3 times. The staff is very friendly staff and rooms immaculate. However this time there was a fan on all night in the bathroom which was very loud. It could not be turned off because there was no switch! Not good! This was the only disappointment. Will return again.

Our stay was the first weekend in July 2015 Pros & Cons Pros: Pros: Staff was super friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent for a hotel and included with our price. This hotel is very close to dining, shopping and gas station. Bathroom & Beds were clean Cons: This Hampton Inn is in urgent need of renovation. We were told that renovations would start in August 2015 (we will see — from reading other comments it looks as if they have been telling people it will be renovated soon for years). The carpet in our room needed cleaning so badly that we would not walk on the carpet without flip flops. The chair and ottoman were stained and completely disgusting. You couldn't have paid us to touch them. The room had a slight funky musty smell. Our room had the LOUDEST a/c unit ever. This made it hard to sleep. I was very glad that I had antibacterial wipes as I went over everything we would touch several times. We did not ask for another room because we were there on a holiday weekend and the hotel seemed to be pretty full. Not only that we figured the rest of them were probably just as bad. If they renovate this hotel I'll be happy to stay there again. If they don't we will find a different hotel when visiting Jacksonville.

The staff are above excellent at this hotel. We came to Jacksonville to visit with family and were so very pleasantly surprised by being treated like family by every member of the staff that we came into contact with. No request was too small or too great. A few of the people who come first to mind are: Jereme — When checking in I kept changing my mind about where I wanted our rooms, how close to each other etc. He and Taleshia handled my requests and changes like pros. Even though I was tired and grumpy from the trip they both treated us with respect and kindness. The rooms ended up being absolutely perfect! During our stay I stopped at the desk and asked him about things to do that would interest all of us (ages 2 through 57) He suggested several spots and each were perfect Taleshia — She assisted Jereme in getting us the rooms per my request, even going as far as to leave the desk and go check a couple of rooms on the upper floor. I found out that she was not feeling well but you would never have known it from the way she did her job and went above and beyond during our entire stay. Any request we made of her (extra towels, etc. ) was met with amazing speed and professionalism. Mary Ellen — She was in charge of the breakfast all but the last morning we were there. We are amazed at how well she kept everything stocked, the cleanliness, and her going above and beyond.

Fairly nice, would stay again. Nighttime staff kinda incompetent but the bathroom was spotless as were the beds — That's all I want, That's Why 4 stars.

I bought a product on amazon, the official Harrison received the package the day 10/24/2014 4:47 pm. But not handed me the package and manages just said the package disappeared. We should be able to give a negative star.

I made reservations at this hotel pending a week long stay in Jacksonville. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I went to my room which had a foul odor of cigarette smoke and mildew. I asked to be moved to another room which smelled better but had no refrigerator and the microwave had to be moved to the floor. The hotel staff was pleasant and they offered to move me again. A staff member explained that the hotel is up for renovation soon. I immediately within the first 10 mins of my arrival called the Hampton Inn on Southside Blvd to check availability. Not only was I offered a new room (suite actually), that was much larger, cleaner and nicer, I was offered the suite at the same rate as the rate at this hotel. Hampton Inn should not even have their name applied to this hotel. This hotel is at best, one star. The pictures do it no real justice.

Tub needs some cleaning. AC struggles to keep room cool. Breakfast obviously needs two people monitoring the food levels. You can't let both main coffees go out at once and it doesn't take more than ten minutes to prep your oatmeal. Front desk is hardly occupied. Bed is comfortable and room looks clean.

I stayed 4 nights in July 2013 and found this to be the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. Complaints: Room door did not close by itself, Wi-Fi was extremely slow, bathtub was dirty/moldy, shower rod was falling down, rug of room was dirty, stained, and worn out, TV remote had to be replaced twice, cleaning staff had a unfriendly attitude, coffee was cold, orange juice was warm, front desk was unavailable in the daytime, and when I informed the front desk of my displeasure, they simply said that management was not available and they would leave a note for them to call me. 3 days later I am still waiting for the call. I emailed Hilton, and also received no reply. I will NOT stay at this Hampton Inn again.
