Booked this hotel through hotels. Com. Price was great and the common area in the lobby/bar area was clean and modern, very pretty. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable which is why I gave 1 star. After leaving the lobby, everything went downhill. Everything outdated, ceilings had water damaged spots, paint peeling, dirty windows, flickering light fixtures, etc. In our room, the headboard was peeled off, fitted sheets were on the bed inside out, dusty air vents. I wouldn't stay again…

$70 on line and additionally $60 in person The ONLY reason we booked here was because the night before they said we could check out at 3pm the next day. We arrive and the lobby is GREAT. We book our room… the account says around $70. End total is around $200. The floors on each side of the bed is wet for reasons I don't wanna know. Bath tub is stained with dirt. It was whatever but for $200 a night knowing we would have normal check out…? Let us know.

This is really great, and for the first time that I visited it, it was so exciting.

It is the paradise of buyers. Everything is not always the go, but looking good you done real good business. It is necessary to retain at least a whole day to have time to do everything.

You should see it. Super great. There is a shuttle bus from one gate to the other.

My stay was good. People were nice. But hotel rooms seemed as if they were being fixed on but they were never finished. If they put a little bit more care into the building and rooms this place would be awesome.

Stayed at this hotel a few years back when it was a Holiday Inn Express. It was much nicer then. Wasn’t a bad experience, for last minute one night stay. I was given a late check out which was cool. Staff was friendly.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The hotel would have rated a 1, but the only comfort was the comfortable beds and the staff was friendly. However, that was it! The pictures make it look like a renovated upscale contemporary hotel. But in this case, the pictures are VERY deceiving. Repairs are all shoddy and sub-standard. There was mold and rust in the bathroom that has been there for years! Paint is chipping off the walls. Absolutely, NO upkeep. It took me 10hrs to get an extra blanket and be told there are no extra pillows after requesting them 3 times. I will post pictures so you can see the real hotel room.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Save yourself the frustration I have never in my life been treated so rudely ever! Looks nothing like the pictures displayed here the entire hotel is disgusting! I had so many issues checking in the front desk staff was unbelievably rude I spent over an hour trying to check in for a room that I paid for completely in full only to be threatened and treated with such disrespect from the staff here! I witness several parties turned away for rooms they had paid for in full already because of hidden fees and groups of people in tears because they had no where else to go and they were hours away from home. The front staff alone is reason enough to book absolutely anywhere else. On top of the worst staff I’ve ever encountered my room was disgusting shower was dirty the sink was broken the handle was ripped of we had to get maintenance to come fix it so we could have water in the bathroom, the hair blow dryer was ripped from the wall and on the floor, the ceiling had large slices in it as well as the head board to the bed was cut up as well as there WERE BUGS AND LIZARDS IN THE ROOM! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I can not believe they continue to stay in business the way this place is ran! I didn’t believe the reviews I read when choosing to book! Don’t make mistake please book anywhere else other than this AWFUL hotel!

The location of this place was nice, the outside looked great. When you walked in, it looks great. Start walking to your rooms and you get a funky odor. Other guest we came with had a running shower, non working toilet and were told they had to wait till the next morning to get it fixed, they finally switched rooms. The bed was the best part. I will never return or recommend.

Descent hotel. There's a nice pool. No breakfast included tho, only a Starbucks counter and a small place for breakfast buffet. Nice rooms. Beds are comfortable. No fridges. Some rooms issues for the people I was with, their room cards didnt work. Had to change room twice. Lots of spots to eat around and a good parking lot. A nice little hotel to stay if you're on the go.

The attention is very good. Very well located if you want to do shopping and some night outings.

This is a very well used hotel. The hotel lobby and pool were renovated nicely. The soccer field looked great and was well maintained. Front desk staff were nice. Going to the rooms we noticed the quality of the work severely dropped through the halls. They cut corners with everything. Nothing more than a paint job with no prep work. You can tell they just painted over everything without cleaning or sanding. Everything else was out dated in the rooms. Every piece of furniture had scratches. The first room we had to switch out of for reasons I hope they fix. I feel bad for leaving this review but it was just filthy.

As you enter the Sawgrass (or as my wife kept accidentally saying saw mill or saw dust) hotel it seems like you're in for a treat. Very nice and updated feel for the lobby, but if you take a closer look you'll see it's falling a part and as you round the corner toward the rooms and elevator it becomes very clear it is a facade. The ceiling suddenly drops on the first floor once you reach the section for the rooms. This was one of the most disappointing stays at a hotel I've had. We moved rooms twice because of filthy rooms. Our second room's bath tub looked like someone had taken a stroll through a coal mine and then taken a bath and no one had cleaned it. The first room had a terrible odor, not just the room but the whole floor that smacked us in the face as soon as the elevator doors opened. The stairwell smelled of urine and it was very potent. Our third room was better, but the bathroom was still not very clean. The saving grace to get two stars was the front desk staff. They were very gracious, understanding, accommodating, and friendly. Each time we came to them with a concern they moved us to a new room. They even upgraded us to a suite. They were also not surprised by the complaints/concerns. The cleaning staff may be another story. I don't know if they are understaffed/overworked/lazy/or just incompetent but they do not do their job well. Just know what to expect if you book a stay here so you won't be surprised. The food at the hotel wasn't too bad.

Great Hotel. Breakfast is for a fee, buffet style, eat all u want. Beds are comfy and big, clean everything. Staff is excellent. Big Lodge area with pool and gym. Big parking lot. Wish they had room service and dinner. They were very commdating when I had to switch room. I would stay here again.

My husband and I were disgusted the next morning after finding hundreds of bugs (shown) all over the bathroom, the desk and walls. We brought pizza back to the room and it was infested with the bugs. I tried to call the front desk to find that, not only was the phone extremely filthy and outdated, only the speakerphone had sound… the directory buttons did not work either. I had to press 0 multiple times to get the front desk. They said someone was coming, but after waiting an hour and seeing problem after problem like water damage on the ceiling, we left! I showed video's of the infestation at checkout and the only thing they did was credit the resort fee. Nothing off the room at all! They need to update and get an exterminator! RUN AWAY!

First impression… No lights in the main parking lot around side of building. Appears they splurged their budeget on the lobby as It was very inviting and modern. Envision a 6story Motel 6. Peeling paint on many room doors and sparse room appointments. I will say the Bed and pillows we're comfortable. I did not get out to the pool area as I arrived late and left before daylight. Would Not recommend unless $$ are your only consideration. $20 resort fee.

Comfortable Hotel, spacious room and bathroom too, close to malls, good attention but the Internet service did not exist, very slow, a lift did not work, comfy beds, TV Ok. Parking and despotic areas very good.

Looks great. Clean for the most part. Wish the female front desk staff was a little friendlier but the male staff in the breakfast buffet and at the front desk along with housekeeping made up for it. I would book again thanks to the exceptional pricing and location.

I was not staying there; I was attending to some demtro clients of this nice looking Hotel. You have a natural grass Fulbito court, a pool after the lobby.
The receptionist was very friendly. The days I was there was a lot of police security because the Peruvian football team stayed there and there were fans everywhere.

NO HOT WATER! 2 of the 3 elevators are broken. Towels felt like sand paper! The bed was comfortable. They charge you a resort fee… there aren't any resort features! A pool in a Florida hotel is a given, it isn't a feature that merits an extra fee. Restaurant isn't open, bar was closed, coffe shop was shut down. What is going on? I understand they are doing "upgrades" but come on!

Excellent value for money, if you go for a walk this hotel gives you the comfort you need, no luxuries but enough in hygiene.

So this hotel is undergoing a renovation but it seems to be on the downswing. It's still very affordable, the room was nice and very spacious, clean and functional but not fancy. The elevators were dirty, some of the windows were dirty, so a good cleaning would pick up their game some. Bottom line, if you get a good deal then go for it but it's no Hilton.

My room was somewhat comfortable and though I didn't use the resort area, it looked nice and inviting. The staff were nice and welcoming as well. That being said, I do believe the 1-Star reviews about the cleanliness of the rooms. In fact, as I was checking out, a gentleman was downstairs telling the guest services agents about urine stains on the ceiling, the disgusting condition of his toilet and no hot water for 2 days.

Good value for money hotel. They are renovating so you can see some work being done. The lobby is all new and all the facilities are being updated. Enjoyed my stay here. Got value for money. Lots of travellers. The pics do look better then the rooms look inside. Bathrooms still a little dated. I didn't have warm water in my shower. Staff were super friendly and over I had a good experience.

The first day the hot water did not work, cleaning the room x part of the maid is lousy only arrives and tends the bed, eye ask you for deposit 60USD x night.

We had bad experience, stayed 3 nights and never cleaned the room, we had to go down to make the claim and there they gave us towels and sanitary paper. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I don't recommend it.

Front desk clerk upgraded me to a suite because I had my son and his friend with me when I checked it. That was very nice. But… My room smelled like cigarette smoke, the mini fridge had mold in it, theire room was infested with ants and the hot water was broken so I could not wash my behind. I called the front desk and asked to be switched to another room but was told that they were completely booked and that they could spray a deodorant in my room, spray a pesticide for ants and someone would clean out fridge. At nearly 1 am the, clerk call my room to let me know that he had not forgotten about me and someone would come asap. He asked if it was okay but I was exhausted and agitated and told them to come in the morning. He said they should be able to check me into another room for my last night's stay. When I left the next morning I just took all of my things with me anticipating a call that my room was cleaned or moved. Never received a call. I did not go back there to stay my last night or to check out. Very disappointing and frustrating.

I DO NOT recommend this hotel. I’ve seen better rooms and have gotten better service at a Motel 6. Employees are rude. My room had no hot water; then turned into no running water at all! The rooms are dirty and have an odd smell. The beds are comfy though so a well deserved one star is enough I think.

Horrible experience. First they sent us to a already slept in room. 2nd room the bed's were made, but the room was not clean. Room smelled, Stains all over the carpet, one room key never worked. The room key that did work was temperamental, sliding in and out several time to get to work. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. They were installing carpet in several room near mine, loud and smelled of glue. I will Never stay at this Hotel again. Many other nicer options at this price range.

Spacious room, great amenities and great location. The reason I've given this hotel 3 stars because the check-in person did not give us any information of the hotel like if they have vending machines or ice machines or when they service alcohol. Also when we used our bathroom there was hair on the counter, floor and toilet. When we took a shower the bathtub did not drain properly so water was up to my ankles. The front desk did have room service to re-clean the bathroom but she still missed some of the hair on the floor. When you have 2 tv's each of them should have a separate remote. I will show pictures to them but not sure if anything will be refunded.

The lobby, hallways, and elevators were in disrepair. The shower was not only cold, but had very low water pressure. I understand the hotel may be undergoing some repair, but it should not be open for public consumption. The staff were nice and trying their best, but there is only so much you can do when ownership does not have the right systems in place and the physical facility is a mess.

I am highly dissappointed with this hotel. The inside is old and it smells moldy and is very outdated do not let the pictures fool you. This is not a resort but I was charged a resort fee for the lack of the nonexistent amenities. You will have to pay an extra $18 for this crappy place. They are charging extra fees to renovate the so call hotel. The room I was assigned to the toilet did not work and the water pressure is very low. The toilet flooded the entire room and the unsanitary waters even reached the hallways. I've tried to call the front desk numerous times and it took forever for them to answer and the janitor took a while before they cleared the flooding that leaked into the hallways. This hotel needs to be shut down until they are completely done renovating. It would have been courteous to let consumers know that you all are in the middle of renovating. Had I've known this I would have never booked my stay there. This is my first and last time booking here. I recommend no one to stay at this run down hotel. Stayed at this hotel last week & will not be returning. I would probably give this hotel, 1 star (maybe). The room that was first assigned to us had no carpet in the hallway and all the wallpaper had been turn down. Who assigns guests to a floor that is being renovated and no one on the staff mentioned anything about it. Went in the room and it was a terrible musty smell and the carpet in our room was filthy. After complaining to front desk they reassigned us to a floor that wasn’t being renovated. The carpet in the room was still filthy, no coffee pot, no microwave, no fridge (these items I thought was pretty standard for most hotels. The pressure on the water was almost nil. Had to have a very cool shower, (no hot water), the bathtub didn’t look the cleanest. Felt dirtier after the shower than before. Will never stay or recommend this hotel.

I will never spend my money at this hotel ever again. I was supposed to spend 3 night from Nov 1-4 room 210 at this hotel. This hotel needs to be better all around. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times with no problem until recently. First, the resort fee has increased its now $19 a night. I also didn't like the staff the manager Amber was not pleasant with her explanations of new policies, she didn't care about our prior stays at this hotel, while saying the other hotel staff were not doing there job prior when they offered us the balcony. We have stayed here more then 2x in the last 6 months and never had a problem. I also called prior to arrival and was told the balcony is upon availability, not that there is an extra cost stated Amber the manager its now 25$. The renovation was going on and I don't believe anyone should have stayed on that floor because the plastic panels near the floor are also pulled out alittle someone can have an accident. I also had a room that had a urine scent. I have never had an experience like this from this hotel but I will not be going back.

The worst… No hot water in the a. M. Hard beds wake up with backaches, dirty rugs, no hotel amenities. Horrible guest services. Only good is the entrance decor. Stay away!

I don't know who give them a 3 star rating, but they need to be fired. I had to switch rooms twice, both times my room had ripped headboard, paint pealing dirty carpets. The staff was helpfull but this is a old rundown hotel. I would stay away if I were you!

A diamond in the rough. This place us beautiful minor renovations to the hotel but I definitely loved the staff and the ambiance of the hotel. Can't wait to see when it's fully remodeled.

This Hotel was damaged by the Hurricane — We have stayed in the past — — n o more! No amenities what-so-ever. Our room had no blankets and no bed spread. The TV had no remote. The halls were completely devoid of any carpeting, just glue residue. On the evening we were going check out we left a 7:30 a. M. Wake-up call. It never happened, when we questioned to clerk at the desk — He ask who took it. We have never in 49 years of traveling ask the clerks name who wrote down the wake-up call. The only amenity that was free was a iron and ironing board. Who vacations to spend their time ironing?

It's a nice hotel. Don't speak Spanish good care not included breakfast but it's away from everything there are not many shops nearby.

The friendly and collaborating reception staff, in the rooms there is nothing more than the beds and a TV while other hotels for the same price per night have microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker and clear you get water and the free breakfast and cleanliness as you I consider it better but enough. Another favorable point is the proximity of several establishments to mobilize by car.

No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker, 2 days no hot water and had to take ICE COLD SHOWERS, no washcloths, no complimentary breakfast. One morning the housekeeping woke up my sleeping baby after we already spoke. The last morning I was woken up at 8am by banging like someone was hammering nails into the wall. That was after my ice cold shower the night before. The "do not disturb" sign has no meaning here. The people at the front desk act like they have no idea how to handle any situation because they're not allowed. Smh… dont waste your money or time!

If you love your family dont stay here. No hallway carpets, stained room carpets, my room chair had an off color cushion from replacement, no hot water in the morning cold shower), $12.95 buffet breakfast, renovation work starts really early, On arrival I was noticing the quaint 70s era furnishings. The furniture in the room needed to be updated. The hotel is clean and inviting. The staff here are extremely friendly. The service was fantastic. The people made the difference. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

I was waiting for my Condo to be ready and I had to stay here on and off for two and a half weeks. The place is nice and well kept. The staff is very nice and helpful. Its a smaller hotel but the pool is nice and the location is great! I will stay here or send family and friends and customers here!

Came down from Georgia for a funeral. Fla. Traffic and road construction may throw your GPS off. When I arrived 3 hours past check in, the front desk was very helpful. I didn't expect much after reading previous reviews but I enjoyed my stay. The lobby smelled wonderful with a calming scent. My room was clean. Sheets clean. No problems. I will stay here every time I come.

Hotel itself was worth the price. Brandon at the desk was extremely helpful and sweet!. Edgar, the maintenance, was also very helpful! Elevator issues, key pad had a trick to it, and slow on bringing towels. Other than that, pool was nice, room was clean. Overall, nice place to stay!

Nice lobby and pool area. Poor service from front desk staff. We needed help carrying our bags to our room and they said "Sorry, we dont have a bellman" and then refused to offer any assistance. Also, shuttle to mall runs only ever 2 hrs on Saturday, however we were told it runs continuously when we checked in on Friday. Having a hotel binder in the rooms with detailed information would be helpful. Most hotels have this convenience, but they do not.

The room was for American standards OK. The Check-in queue was very long, as we noticed some rooms were not yet ready.

This was a nice hotel. We stayed 2 nights. I was a little concerned by some reviews I had read. It could be so much more, with a few more tweaks. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The resort fee is a unnecessary. It isn't a resort. The restaurant was just adequate. The food was good but the menu was limited. One of the elevators was out our entire stay. This didn't cause us any trouble. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there gain.

Worst hotel in Sunrise area. Priceline will land you here through their express deals stating it as 3 star and 7+ reviews but u end up staying in a dirty and poorly managed hotel. The staff is extremely rude, they will intentionally make you wait at the front desk. They go inside for no reason while you wait there. They also charge an additional 15$ per day. The rooms as very old and dirty. The house keeping is horrible and they didn't put towels for 3 out the 6 days I stayed there. Will never stay their again.

Check in was very slow and poor customer service. Our room wasn't ready on time and we had to wait over an hour. However, the room was better than I expected reading reviews, rooms were decent and clean. Do not eat at buffet, especially for breakfast. Extremely overpriced for what you get and quality of food. How can you screw up breakfast?! It's the easiest meal! Do not seat there.

Stayed at this hotel earlier this week. Check in was great, front desk staff were very polite and professional. Lobby had a nice presentation, absolutely loved the decor. The room was big and spacious which included a bar fridge and microwave as well as a separate living room seating area. A suggestion would be to add coffee makers to the room. It was conveniently located near the highway, and Sawgrass Mills Mall. Front Desk were very accommodating allowing me to print off my boarding pass. The hotel was clean and I would definitely stay there again while in the area. It was very busy with a lot of guests checking in. You know it's a great hotel when pilots and flight attendants stay here. We saw at least a dozen flight crew during our stay.

Unless this place can do a complete turn around, I don't see the doors staying open. Holiday Inn was smart to unload it. The place was filthy both inside and out. The same trash and empty beer bottle was right outside the front entrance for two days. The hallways were dirty and smelled bad. The furniture in my room looked like it may have come from a thrift store. Banged up, chipped, and cheap. The "high speed" internet was far from high speed and I actually had better luck using the internet service from the Lowe's nearby. No coffee maker, refrigerator, or microwave in the room, yet I was charged a "resort fee" on top of the price of the room fee I had already paid online. Even though there is not a coffee maker in room, there is no complimentary coffee in the lobby either. The restaurant menu that is online must be for another place completely because at lest 85% of what is shown online is not available in the restaurant. The menu is very limited and they were out of what I ordered off the menu. I saw people get up and leave their food on the table and also overheard them complain to the manager for being charged $18 for a "salad" which was a bowl of wilted iceberg lettuce. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any price. I will have to say that the entire staff was very nice and that was about the only positive thing I can say. I hope this place can turn around and survive for the employees working there.

Horrible management. Booked king bed 6 months ago and confirmed a week ago, but when I showed up they told me 2 queen beds booked explaining it was because it was booked through Priceline I am only entitled to a Run of the House 2 queen standard room. They should have told me 6 months ago but instead deceived me and tried to stick me with 2 queens when I showed up. After 20 min on phone w Priceline they refunded money in full and we booked at Marriott Courtyard, which I would rate a 10 star after Sawgrass Grand/Priceline experience!

First, to call this a Hotel is a joke. 1 star on a good day. Motel describes this place. No customer service! Only 1 elevator working, I could continue but want. As I left this hotel this past Sunday morning 24th of January 2016, I left behind an expensive pair of athletic pants hanging in what they call a closet. I called concerning this matter, only to have the inept employees: Louie and Danielle act as though I was interrupting their day. No on has returned a call or email concerning this matter Where is the so called manager?.

Nice room. Very clean and quiet. Staff very professional and polite. Lobby's decor was cool too! Will definitely come back if we vacation in Florida again. As far as the cost, we got a nice corporate discount through the job so it was worth it!

Bad service, takes a long time to do the check in, it was a hotel holiday in but now remodeled to average and poor service. In the fourth suite, there are cushions of skin pictures with dust, and when you ask for extra towels it takes 2 to 3 hours in traertelas, the restaurant is very expensive, and there are several services bad running as the elevator, the dryer in the bathroom, one TV channel, etc. Nothing Recommendable for families.

I gave it one star because there is no option of zero. First of all, the room smells really bad. When we arrived in the room, the AC was off. I guess that is why it makes a such bad smell. Then, I noticed that the AC setting is unusual, there is a big hole in the wall right next to the bed. It is only loosely covered by a board. I talked to the manager in the front desk, BTW, he is really rude to me, rolling eyes all the time. He send an engineer to my room, who told me every room's AC setting is like that. I only wish I can upload a pic to show you. To summarize, don't waste your money on staying in this bad smell and bad service hotel.

Choose another hotel. Had to call front desk twice to bring towels, maids only left 1 one day, and none another day. The lobby is very fixed up and modern looking, but the rooms are old, carpet is dirty, sheet rock damage. Parents also stayed in this hotel an c plied of a room reeking of smoke. I understand it's not the fault of the hotel if some idiot guest decided to light up in the room, but if the maid that cleaned up knew it smelled like smoke, then why did they assign the room to someone. This is the opposite of hotel hospitality. As advertised, I already knew this, but the hotel does not have complimentary breakfast. The young lady at the little coffee shop was very nice. They charge an extra $15 "resort fee". As another reviewer posted, this no resort. Also the place has no sign by the entrances, making it difficult to find. The only way I even found it was because my GPS took me to it. Stay away!

Got a deal thorugh hotwire. Hotel was ok — there are things here and there that are falling apart but in the grand scheme of things, it was clean and no bed bugs. Service and staff are hit or miss. We waited almost 15min to check-in because they couldnt find our reservation. We had to go through our email and even had to call hotwire — but then a more experienced staff showed up and we were checked in with a click of a button. While doing this, there was a huge commotion going on with a manager and 2 guests. I overheard the whole conversation. Hours ago, the guests requested bed sheets as their rooms didn't have any. The hotel clearly forgot, I know this because when they were asking the second time, the staff up front had no idea what they were asking except one guy — he knew what they wanted bc he forgot to get them the sheets the first time. Just went downhill from there when they asked to speak to the manager. Manager was very defensive and wanted to take them to a private room when all the guest wanted was sheets! Anyway, very frustrating and unprofessional even as a bystander. I could have solved this for them in seconds… So while the hotel tries to be classy — maybe like a Holiday Innn — there are flaws in staff that will prevent it to be anything more than a Motel 6

This place is the worst. I have been to many hotels because I travel a lot. The carpet dreary, the room have a funny smell. Furniture were broken, chipped. I have never been to a hotel without at least a coffee pot. The towels were dirty. This place is overpriced. Save your money and get something better.

(Bugs) The AC in the room sounded like a lawn mower starting up so me and my husband didn't sleep at all. My daughter was able to sleep but when she woke up in the morning she was covered in bites. My guess is bed bugs. We were moved to a different room and it was much better. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was $15.00 which was way over priced for what was offered and they also charge you a resort fee and this is no resort. They also charge you a $50 convenience fee for incidentals each night. For what, I am not sure… It's not like you can order room service. There are better places to stay in North Lauderdale for sure!

Hated it there! Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Couldn't find the damn place and literally NONE of the employees could give me directions… They couldn't even tell me what other stores they were by to give me an idea of where I was/needed to go. Either bed bugs or spiders were in the room because I left with bites all over me! Its been two days since I have been back home and still do not have my 50 dollar deposit back in my bank! I will never go there again and will never recommend them to anyone.

This hotel offers a 5 star experience on a 3 star budget. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view was breathtaking! The beach was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh.

This hotel is amazing in so many ways. We booked the executive suite which had a balcony viewing the ocean and another viewing the pool. Being that close to the ocean was breathtaking. We spent most of our time out on the balcony people watching and listening to the ocean.

Had a blast there didn't mind that the grab n go was to much money but the people that worked there was awesome they were nice to me and the bartender was so nice and Jason was really nice I give you guys 5 stars wish I could give you more stars.

I came here with my husband and we had a blast. We stayed in a standard room and it was clean. I don't understand the negative reviews. I loved my stay here, plus the hotel gives you get free shuttle to Sawgrass Mills Mall. That's freaking awesome!

I was there a month ago for a business meeting and had no hot water in the morning. I disagree about the manager being rude as she was the best thing the "hotel" has. The rooms were very outdated and after a shower floor was soaked from all the water getting out due to old curtains. 1 person covering the so called "bar". Was about to book again for the next business trip but then read reviews and remembered my experience. No Thanks!

Bugs in room so I was switched to another room. Cancelled another room for family members coming the next night because I didn't want to take a chance. They said at the desk I would get a refund. It never happened. Kara Levin the manager never returned my call. I called several times. Dispicable customer service. Plenty of other hotels in the area.

Charge you fees if you contract with the airline, many ants in the bathroom.

Formerly a Holiday Inn, can't get more 'cookie-cutter' then that.

Horrible service-would give 0 stars if possible. We put out the "maid service please" sign on our doorknob at 10am; upon our return at 6pm there were no towels in the room; we had to call 2 more times to get them and it took over 2 hours. At first we thought we'd wait and have a glass of wine in the bar only to find that it's not open on Sundays (only the next day was a sign put up that said "bar closed Sundays"). Got back from dinner out and STILL no towels. Manager was so rude she should be fired (whatever happened to "the customer is always right? "). Only good service was from the Starbucks Cafe staff (and at a dollar more per beverage than at a real Starbucks they should be attentive). Took forever to get hot water in shower. Cabinet above fridge was broken as was fluorescent light beneath that cabinet. They did remove the $15 daily "resort fee" (in 95 degree weather a warm outdoor pool is no resort) because of the inconvenience we endured. Go anywhere else.

Also found a roach. Smells bad… crappy food for so much $$$ with gratuity already included!

With in an hour in the room found 2 roaches in the bathroom and took 10 minutes to get hot water. Our room also smells bad. Buffet is over priced.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. There was mold in the shower of my room. There were stains and hairs on almost every towel we tried to use. I understand that they're doing some renovations, so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I would defibitely not stay there again. I will say that their restraunt was wonderful, and their staff was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received in both of these areas.

Very poor customer service.

The hotel room was very nice, 1 king size bed, the bathroom wasn't dirty, the maintenance staff was pretty attentive with towels and soap. The room had a nice living room area which had another Tv. The down side is (something that was not mentioned to me before booking the room) They charge you $16 PER meal PER day, and they also charge $16 PER day to use the pool. I did not use the pool once and still had to pay for the pool for the days I stayed. Advice to you guys, you should actually give those water resistant bracelets for those who use the pools, people don't like paying for what they are not receiving. ANOTHER thing, when we checked in we were told by sandra that we were being charged a $35 fee in case of room damages and that it would be put back, no problem with that. But we were actually charged 50$, this was when we checked in — just to clarify that we had just got to the hotel so there were no damages yet, and there were no damages when we left. The name says Sawgrass mills but its actually the Sawgrass grand for the 3003 address. Sawgrass mills is in another location.

Very good at some things.

The hotel is weathered and worn. There was a smell In the hallways that was terrible, and the carpet was soiled. The rooms were better but this did not remind me of a resort. I would suggest for what the resort is charging pay 50 to 100 more and stay at a nicer place. I gave them two stars because I think they are in the middle of a renovation.

We booked (months in advance) an executive king suite with a fridge and microwave because we had a 9 day stay but when we got here all they had was a king suite available. Our room was NOT cleaned properly. Stanger's hair (and who knows what else) everywhere! I don't think it's to much to ask for clean linens and a clean shower. We found a small cockroach in the desk drawer. The fire alarm went off forever 1 night (no fire).

The place was under construction, so there was a mess here and there. The breakfast its a joke I couldn't even eat it so don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Overall the place is below average.

Maids stole out of my purse and bed, 4th floor smells like mildew and pee, only one snack machine and one microwave and is all the way in the first floor. Every time I wanted a snack or to warm up food, I had to go down 4 floors just to do so. And they charge if you put the "privacy" sticker on the door. 50 bucks.

Don't stay here — — there are SO MANY other much better hotel choices just down the street. This place is getting old and worn out (and so is the staff). It needs a total renovation. Things just don't work anymore (especially the antiquarian heating and air conditioning units). The restaurant is also old with below average food. The maitre d' is haughty and inflexible. What the deal is with the pool surround is beyond me. It has loose tiny stones that hurt your feet when you walk on them. I mean, just get it fixed. You MUST have a car to stay here. Nothing is close. The other hotels farther down on University are near a mall (with all the standard stores) and some outdoor shopping malls that are very nice (Kohl's, Marshall's, etc. ). They are also within walking distance of dining CHOICES. You might want to choose this hotel to save a few bucks but don't do it. You'll regret it. Don't forget, they host soccer stuff so odds are you'll be housed amidst loud kids.

Great service as always.

The hotel wasn't too bad. The on site soccer fields were closed but has a nice heated pool. Service from the staff was horrible. If you asked a question it was like you were "bothering" them. Also make sure your doors are locked as room service (house cleaning) will just walk in.

The ac unit was loud but great place to stay. I will stay here again.
