We stay here every time we visit Davie, FL. Real nice atmosphere, good rooms and friendly staff! My favorite spot is the Sauna.

Pleasant check-in staff, clean spacious comfortable suites with coffee maker, microwave oven, Mini-fridge, two flat screen TVs, very good food, drinks an yes, Starbucks coffee. Large rooftop pool. Also, a beautiful fountain at the Main entrance, the water bathed in blue lighting at night. Easy access to Downtown Ft Lauderdale, Seaport and FLL Airport via nearby I-595.

I have stayed numerous times here in the past few weeks, both Alejandra and Amber knows my preference for a quiet room. They never ever once had a hiccup about accommodating my request. I don’t need anything else but just my personal space. Once I have checked in; you don’t see me till checkout. I am of very few needs as a weary business traveller.
The way Rene see it is not like that; he made it very bitter and personal with me. When he’s on shift, he will always make sure that I don’t get to have the quiet room I requested! He would deliberately assign rooms that plunged me right in the middle of the lift landing. His constant vicious and vindictive vilifications about me to the other staffs is most obnoxiously unprofessional and vile! Ask Alejandra!
He spared no expense displaying his contempt towards me like exactly what he did this morning. Instead of listening to me first, he started chastising me and falsely accusing me of shouting and being rude to the Housekeeping Manager Lizzy! The conversation was pretty much over when he rebuked me that he doesn’t need to witness it; she is his co-worker and he believes everything she tells him.
Then it dawn upon me that probably all that banging and slamming from her at early morning 7 am; which only started recently was perhaps instructions or persuasions from him to patronise me; knowing that I like my quiet and peace.

Would usually give this a higher rating however after a recent stay, I can't. Unfortunately my family and I are now sick with respiratory issues. This is as a result of the dust generated from the construction site in the immediate surroundings. To further compound the problem, the carpet in the corridor was cleaned with strong chemicals and industrial fans were used to dry. This diffused the fumes into our room. Upon inquiry, my husband was informed that the carpet had to be cleaned because dogs were kept on the same floor. I believe hotels have a responsibility to inform guests if they are going to be located on the same floor as pets especially since many people have allergies and asthma as is the case with my family. On our return home we all had to seek medical treatment which forced my husband to call to speak to a manager. The manager said that he would investigate and call back. Sadly this is a few days now and we haven't received that call. I don't think we will be returning in the near future.

I would be remiss if I did not take the time to show my appreciation for Benny and Athena. After staying here for three nights, all I can say is thank you. Thank you. Athena has been there to answer and deal with any issue I may have had prior to going on our cruise. She is not only helpful, but patient as well. No matter how busy that front desk becomes. She handles it with such ease. Thank you Athena! Upon arriving after our cruise, Benny was also helpful in settling our rooming issue. It is ironic how as out of towners, finding this hotel was god send. It is clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the staff is amazing. I would stay another week if I could. Thank you for for service.

Stayed overnight for one night. Guest services were very nice brought up plates and blankets when we needed them. 10/10 would recommend. Very nice pool and very comfortable beds.

As I arrived late around 1:30am, the night staff could have been more friendly. The room was hot when I entered, but looked nice and clean. The shower had semi decent water pressure, with a nice shower head. The bed was comfortable, until 7:30am and the jackhammer shook the entire building, waking me up. As I was leaving to head to work, traveling on business, I noticed a sign underneath a stack of newspapers by the elevator, pardon the construction. A little warming at check in would have been helpful. Breakfast was nice.

This is the best hotel you can get right in this area and for the price. I wish the facilities were a little newer as they are in need of a revamp. Overall the amenities of the hotel are still pretty nice. It’s got a great pool, a great gym and a dry sauna. The breakfast is surprisingly basic. I expected more. I wouldn’t pay extra for it.

The hotel is nice and the staff are nice, however the breakfast is pretty inconvenient because you have to get seated even though it’s mostly self-serve. Then you have to wait to order juice or coffee. Why not just put the juice out and make the whole thing self-serve. I’ve seen people come wanting to grab something on the go but have been refused and have to leave because they don’t have time to sit around for 40 minutes waiting to get seated and waiting on a check. They should know better as a hotel that has many business travelers. People don’t have time to wait around like that in the morning.

The Sheraton Suites in Plantation can be a little tricky to find but if you follow your GPS you won't miss it. There is free parking available which is always a plus, and I came in on a Friday afternoon with a large group for a private event within one of the rooms and was pleased with the all around service provided to our large party. The food served consisted of garlic bread, salad with caesar dressing, meatballs, and pasta. Honestly usually don't get too excited about food at these little hotel spots, but after having my plate I have to say I was surprisingly pleased. The desert provided was also incredible would go back just to have those brownies again!

Good clean hotel. Cordial, sometimes friendly stuff. Nice facilities (a pool, sauna, small gym). Good place for business travelers. Close enough to Fort Lauderdale.

We had a very nice, spacious suite and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and tidy and the housekeepers did a good job each day. Small but clean and adequate gym in this hotel. A short drive from several chain restaurants for dinner.

We stayed here last Saturday because it was close to an event we were attending. The room is spacious and that's about it for compliments. The bathroom toilet had urine when we got there. The bath tub would flood immediately when the shower was turned on, so you had to bathe in a pool practically. The rooms smelled dirty, of old unattended carpet. The staff cold an unresponsive when we voiced our concerns. They offered a "free breakfast buffet voucher". I will not stay here again and I will possibly never stay at a Sheraton again as well.

Do you like dated and depressing hotels? Fifty shades of brown and popcorn ceilings? If you're into that kind of stuff you'll love this place. The roof top pool is a plus and saves this place from a 1 or 2 star rating. Housekeeping does a great job as do the bartenders and wait staff. Front desk employees could cheer up a bit.

This hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are very big and the bed very comfortable. The rooftop bar and pool is very nice! Just FYI there's a demolition right next door, so construction can be loud.

Had a wonderful stay here as a getaway gift. Stayed in one if the SPG suites equipped with a Jacuzzi which was just perfect. Visited during off season and had an awesome stay. The pool on the roof was a nice surprise and the staff was super helpful and so nice! We'll definitely go back again.

Very nice hotel. Staff is accommodating and very professional. My room was spacious and very clean. Location is right near busy street with many stores around the area. Variety of restaurants are present so finding one towards your taste will be easy.

This hotel is nice, however there is a major building project taking place in the property where the old Fashion Mall was. This means noise and construction all around this hotel. I will revisit in a couple of years as I am sure the location will be wonderful once complete.

Room was clean and spacious. Very close to mall, shopping, and restaurants. Nice rooftop pool with hot tub, sauna, and gym. Building under construction but did not hear any noise. Left my Samsung in the business center area and the head housekeeper made sure it was returned to me after I had came back home. Looks like it will be even nicer once renovations are complete. I will be back!

Surprisingly clean and spacious because exterior landscape is still very much under construction. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Didn't try bar or restaurant. Advertised small plates at bar is non existent.

The Plantation Ballroom is wonderful. Technology is up to date.

My family booked this as my wife and I were attending a concert in Fort Lauderdale and we wanted to take the kids t the beach. We got a one bedroom suite which was a decent size to sleep six. We were about twenty minutes from fort Lauderdale. The resort is currently under construction, but that did not hinder our stay. The room was quiet and served its purpose for the evening.

Was there for 2 nights. Fantastic rooms. Lacks a decent restaurant though. But overall a very pleasant experience. They have a awesome heated pool on the terrace.

Even though we booked directly through Sheraton, we were not informed that there was demolition going on right next to the hotel. Entrances to the hotel were blocked and the detours poorly marked. The key card reader on our first room didn't work: the door wouldn't unlock. We were moved to another, but it wasn't fully turned — there was only one bathrobe, no spare sheets or blankets, and lacked some of the complimentary toiletries. It took multiple calls to the front desk to get everything we needed. Otherwise, it was adequate (if a little dated) as a place to sleep/shower while traveling. I wouldn't stay there if I were vacationing in Fort Lauderdale.

The rooms are amazing. Spacious and great views. There isn't much to do outside of the hotel but a great area to get away.

Location is the only reason I don't give five stars as well as some of the guests there. Not pleasant. Otherwise, clean, very modern, comfortable, lots of amenities and a good restaurant. Beds were very hard but that's all about taste.

One of the better hotels in the Plantation area. Suites are well equipped with nice rooms, two bottles of free water, and very large jacuzzi tubs. Free Wi-Fi is available and there is a smallish lounge for frequent travelers with status on 8. The hotel location is somewhat inconvenient right now since the mall which previously was nearby is now fenced off blocking many connecting roads. This makes the hotel rather hard to access.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Super recommend. When I go to Fort Lauderdale I know where I should go.

Great hotel. Quiet, nice suites. Hotel was VERY clean. The front desk persons were very helpful. The location is very nice.

The whole hotel was very nice and it wasn't crowded at all. The room was huge and had a lot of nice little touches, like a free bottle of water, and lots of towels, and lots of soaps. It had so many blankets on the bed I felt like a 7 layer taco dip. There were lots of slide doors and it made it feel like the room had 4 rooms. The pool on the roof was really nice but there were some empty alcohol bottles around (it was Saturday at midnight). It had a sauna and a handicap accessible jacuzzi. I also liked the express checkout.

Nice facilities — comfortable and friendly staff. However had an issue at check-in with the cc on file and kept getting different answers when trying to resolve. Also, haven't been impressed with food.

I own a California based company that requires that we sometimes host events at out-of-state hotels. As someone that has dealt with hundreds of hotels over the years, I have had to deal with every imaginable type of personality. With that said, I have never dealt with anyone that was more customer centered, than Ashley Contento at the Sheraton in Plantation FL. If you are looking to host an event at a hotel in south Florida, and if you are looking for an individual that views their customers as the single, most important part of their job, then I would strongly recommend this hotel, and that you ask for Ashley. She is certainly a gift to the Sheraton, as well as to each and every one of her customers. Five stars, to say the least.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and neat and have ample space. The pool area us also very beautiful.

Best room ever. My room had its own living room with TV. The bathroom was bigger than a cheap hotel room. From the rooftop pool you can see downtown Fort Lauderdale as well as other cities. Definitely staying here again!

Clean and spacious hotel, perfect for families. Had no issues getting extra towels, pillows and blankets. The suite we stayed in had a bedroom with 2 double beds, a bathroom with a closet and separate toilet and shower, microwave, mini fridge and utility sink, a desk and a couch with a pullout bed. Doors allow the bedroom to be closed off from the living area. The lobby is beautiful and the hotel bar and restaurant are very nice. Common areas (pool, gym, sauna, club lounge) are well-maintained. It's clear the hotel was recently renovated. The only complaint is the world's worst elevators. Seriously waited up to 5 minutes for one of the 3 elevators servicing the 9 floors. Wouls give it 5 stars if this was resolved.

Nice large suite rooms with a good layout. Separate seating area is comfortable and doesn't feel tracked on. Everything was very clean.

Rooms are now renovated at this hotel, with very friendly check-in staff and comfortable rooms. I would give this a 3 1/2 stars, but round it up to 4 for the nice staff. The location is convenient, but it is in the midst of a lot of strip malls. The Club Lounge is small, but the staff is friendly there as well. There is a pool and small jacuzzi on the roof with a very small but well-equipped gym. The restaurant downstairs is very slow, but overall a decent hotel.

The room was huge, and very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. I loved that there was a rooftp pool, gym, and sauna.

Rooms are nice, restaurant staff are excellent but there's no access to food late at night and easily the worst coffee I've ever tasted — my company contracts this hotel and I stay here often. Better coffee please!

Really nice room, especially the club floor. Very busy and slow check in staff. Did have a billing issue but they are fighting to make it right. Definitely the nicest hotel in the area.

I loved the rooftop pool, it was my favorite place to go when skipping school nd take a swim nd go in the hot tub.

It's a shame for the sake of the hotel that it's stuck being attached to an abandoned mall, however that doesn't affect the quality of the hotel at all. It is beautiful and clean inside, and the rooms are very nice.

Very very nice 5 star hotel. Rooms are luxurious and very modern. Even their TV is very high end, slim bezel model, not the economical version. Ample power and USB ports for your smart devices needs. Very very excellent hotel. Services are superb as well! This hotel is even the stay over of choice for airplane captains and attendants! (saw a whole bus of them arriving) Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends!

This hotel was probably great 10 years ago but is showing it's age now. Peeling paint, cracked tiles small beds and old elevators. It is a great location though and has free parking and Wi-Fi. It is a good choice for a one night stay pre or post cruise. Access to the airport or port in the morning only took about 10 minutes. My reservation was free because I used my airline miles to book the room and it was a decent choice. Had I paid for the room I would have been a little more disappointed in the overall quality.

The room was recently renovated and clean. Queen bed with sliding doors to separate the living space from the bedroom. There was a pull-out couch, desk, refrigerator and coffee. Separate sink and dressing area from all other spaces. Friendly front desk. The pool is on the roof and was not busy in the evening. Overall a good experience. The closed down, not maintained mall attached is a little disheartening.

The restaurant's food tasted like a TV dinner. Way overpriced. But the hotel room is nice and the gym equipment was nice too.

This hotel has complementary parking and Wi-Fi and is easy to locate. Customer service was nice, but kept telling my room would be available in 10 minutes, but I ended up having waiting 2 hours, while other people received their rooms. I have several complaints regarding the cleanliness of the suite. At first glance, the suite looks clean, however, my lamps and lampshades are dusty, there is mystery goo on the alarm clock, the remotes have gunk on them, the sheets have brown and black stains and the pocket doors don't slide easily.

The hotel was wonderful, everyone was fabulous, and the restaurant food was terrific. Jose Albuquerque in the "Cilantro" went above and beyond to help in the restaurant, and Adam the bartender did as well. The pool was just Beautiful on the roof, while floating, amazing. The rooms were clean cold and wonderful bedding, ect. Didn't want to get up! I would call for something and it was there in minutes, with great attitudes. When the construction is finished, I can't wait to visit again, even though while there last week, they only worked to make things better, after 9:30 am til 5:00 pm.

They had construction thing going on and it was a mess. 9 am and hammers started to tik tik tik … I was working on a conference call that I had to stop. I returned at 4 am on one one of the night. I went to room to find the door outside the lobby was closed. I went downstairs but lady at reception refused to accept that their was a door out there and gave me a new key. I went back and same result, tried to call reception from floor phone, guess what … Phone is not working. Called the desk number from cell and they said no one is picking at reception. Went back downstairs and then they engaged the manager who said yeahhhh their is a door 531 there and then they opened it (4 am — July 10th) All this time manager was sitting behind and tried to stay as disconnected as possible. Long story short, I had to mess with these under trained staff for 30 minutes after a 20 hours day. I am still giving them 2 stars because rest of the stuff was OK I guess.

I am very happy with my experience of 2 nights at the hotel last May holiday weekend. Just the Wi-Fi complain, it is very slow.

A great deal for the Sheraton experience. We usually stay in $50 budget motels, but have stayed here a few times to splurge while in town visiting family. I would pay more to stay here. Great service, very clean, extra amenities, well maintained property. Good location too in Ft Lauderdale metro area.

Very modern hotel with ample parking! There is a nice pool outside plant — of course there due children — are the volume accordingly. — Also in the rooms you can hear loud talking in the hallway! The room was very big had a sofa, 2 TV, kingsize bed and had a very elegant — only tub not fit in the picture! Wash basin outside of the toilet! Very handy! Refrigerator and coffee maker no booking through Hotwire breakfast €80 the night.

I called in this morning after booking a stay longer than a week online to ask if we could have a room with two full or queen beds rather than a king because I am traveling with a friend. The lady on the phone asked me to hold on then very rude attitude said, 'That is between you and priceline, you don't book with us you deal with them'. It was very rude tone. I suggest this could be a manager or owner as I doubt staff would bark that out. Next time just politely lie to me and say there are no two bed rooms available and I will take your word for it. If you bark at me like that I will post a negative review. See you in a few weeks. Hope the hotel is batter than the lady answering the phone in the morning.

Terrible service. Over priced breakfast buffet with bad quality to follow. Creepy closed mall next door made everything feel really run down.

Room was nice — all hotel staff was freindly and ver pleasant — restaurant however was different matter — Wait staff was in atentive and to the point of being rude — wanted a $10 tip for a 9.22 bill — ridiculous gave her a $50 for 9.22 got $40 back (all in $10 bills) was told I still ower her 22 cents. Where is it and pay up! handed her $10 and had to find her almost 15 mins later to ask for myu change nd she says"well isnt that my tip?! ridiculous — and she never even cam back after taking order to refill coffee or water or anything. I had to go find her for bill! enough to make me second guess going back to hotel.

Stayed here on several occasions love the scenery, the front desk clerk is always courteous to me. The rooms are very comfortable and always relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone whose looking for comfort and also its not too far from the Fort Lauderdale Airport.

In general very nice suites (two rooms plus bath). Clean. Friendly staff.
But: We had a room with windows to the gray courtyard. This would not have been a problem for me, but obviously the air condition aggregate for the complete hotel was located inside this courtyard causing a so high noise level inside the room that I think we wouldn't have slept if we weren't that tired from an exhausting day.
From our point the rooms located to this noisy courtyard cannot be given to guests as the permanent noise is really disgusting.
