They Tell you one price over phone and when you get there they tell you different price on room then they say some one make mistake but costumer will pay for they mistake.

This place was filthy, the lady at the front was short and rude, there was a tick and roaches on bedspread I pulled blankets back to picked pillows up and they came out of everywhere, mildew smelling room. I asked if we could move to another room and she said no but that I could come to the front to get new sheets to put on bed. I ended up sleeping in my car because there were no rooms available due to Labor Day weekend! Lady showed NO remorse or care in the world!

I hate to say this but nothing at all impressed me with this "motel". It is out dated and in dire need of being updated. So I check in at 9 pm. The first room I was given, when I first walk in the door of the room, the heat hits me. It is Florida mind you. Why dont they have the A/C turned on, it is at least 85 degrees inside. So I turn on the A/C. Then the strong smell of mold hits me next. So, I'm like it will go away when the room cools down. 5 minutes later the A/C turns off. I try to turn it back on to no avail. Call the front desk. Girl comes up and gets it started. I ask about why it's so hot and why it was off in the first place. She blames on lightning, that I did not see any of in the area all day. So she leaves. In about 10 minutes it shuts off again. I call down and ask for another room. She says come down and she will give me another room. I go to that room. A/C not on again. Very hot and smelly in that room also. The A/C did stay on though. But, I lay on the bed naked for 3 hours sweating till the room finally cooled down. Worst night in a motel ever in my life! I was in town on business. If I was paying for the stay out of my pocket I would have demanded my money back. Avoid this place at all costs. I will be letting my employer know to remove them from the lists of motels to use.

Decent room, clean enough, kind of smelled until you put on the ac. Nice pool and friendly front desk woman. I would stay here again for the price and its pretty close to everything.

Was a good place to stay. Air conditioner was a little slow getting the room cool, but it was very hot outside also.

Checked in in the evening. The evening staff member was rude and making remarks about my breathing… weird… we went to our room for 6 people there were only 3 towels in the room. We asked for more towels and the same evening staff person gave us a hard time about asking for more towels. She finally agreed to give us more towels and said she would drop them off at our room in 10 min. 30 minutes later she finally CALLS our room and says the extra towels are ready in the lobby and she said that she was unable to deliver because the lobby was full of people checking in. We went down there within 1 minute as our room was above the lobby and because the majority of us had to use a hand towel to dry off as we were getting ready for dinner and the staff member was alone in the lobby doing nothing! We take the towels and then she goes outside and just starts randomly walking around. This is on top of a dirty room with dirty Qtips and bed comforters being dirty.

Very clean and staff were nice and helpful. Room was what I wanted and needed for my pets. Price was average. Just not enough places to walk your dogs. As of 10/2018 no more dogs allowed. How awful.

Place is rundown but charges almost the same price as nearby nicer hotels. Was charged 219 for the night and when I asked about a government rate the response was gov’t is just taxes removed. Called La Quinta, reserved rooms for 175 per night at their gov’t rate. Small outdated rooms, laundry area is outside by the parking lot.

We stayed here for 4 days and it was awesome. Room was very clean and ac worked great. We stayed in room 220. The staff was friendly. The overnight man working the front desk was very helpful! He made adding another night to our stay easy! We would definitely stay here again!

This place was nice and clean! The service is so nice too! If your in fort Walton, go to this hotel!

I was very disappointed with this hotel because (1) the employee at the front desk had a nasty attitude, (2) the sheets had dirty spots, I asked for clean sheets but never recieved them, (3) housekeeper didn't clean our room and I don't know why, (4) the pool was extremely small only 4ft deep. My visit was June 1-3, 2018 this was my first and last visit at this hotel.

The hotel is not taken care of. Room 124 had molded walls around the tub in the bathroom, and the beds in Room 122 were crawling with bedbugs and other bugs on the surface of the bed, and many more under the covers and on the pillows. Disgusting!

A good clean motel. Noise is the biggest issue. Anything happening outside can be clearly heard such as the neighboring dooms dogs and children.

It is a simple hotel that meets the basic necessities to rest, it seems to me that it is very well located and you have near very close a way of good restaurants.

No soap, shampoos kind dirty and potential trip hazards at parking lot (stop bump broken rocks around). Kind clean.

The Manager is a scammer. Booked on line and marked smoking king size. Asked to change and they wanted my cc said no. Tried to cancel wanted 50% cancellation fee. BEWARE! Bunch of INDIAN CROOKS! Called Orbitz and they refunded while the manager argued. Rip off scammer!

Food was left if frig. Bathroom floor very dirty. Dirty wash cloth left hanging from shower head.

These were beautiful clean traditional hotel rooms in a remarkably quiet little area!

Mold everywhere, dirty clothes in drawers, smelt like butt, bugs, and human waste in toilet. Warning warning do not stay here! disgusting!

We pulled up after being on the road from 6am to 9pm and were checked in promptly without any hassle so we were still able to make it to our gig on time. It helps that the hotel was only 5 minutes from the downtown area. The room was clean and the staff was courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

For one I wouldn’t put a star if I didn’t have to! Roaches everywhere. Mildew everywhere. It was dirty old & tasteless but that isn’t the worst part … they claim pet friendly but charge 20$ per day per dog NON-REFUNDABLE! Then they scam you. 50$ deposit at check in and once they seen we had pit bulls (ada certified dogs) they required another 40$ deposit so my husband went bring it. Not only did they not note that we did they only gave 13$ back off the original 50$ deposit for additional pet cleaning fee! Absolutely nothing was wrong with the room it was probably cleaner than when we first walked in! I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY AT THIS HOTEL! These people are rude & unsanitary to the max it’s ashamed they even charging 60$ it should be 20! Smelled like cat piss maybe y’all shouldnt allow CATS.

Impressed with room. Clean. Nice decor. Very small pool, but it's the beach, so that's where you should be. Lots of food and shopping nearby.

We arrived at our hotel at about 1130pm. Late flight and all and kind of glad we did… The freaks come out at night. A crew of tweakers were out and about taking apart the inside of their car. No biggie. I am from Dallas. But once I stepped foot in my stifling hot and humid room the smell hit me like a freight train. I figured ok cool turn on the AC window unit and no worries. Welp. My allergies came on so fierce that no amount of benedryl was going to save me. We were in the room a total of 5min and went to front office and asked for a different room which the gentleman was happy to do but it didnt work out for us because of no mini fridge and he gave a full refund. You get what you pay for so if you dont plan on staying in the room too long then its worth it but my allergies are nuts and it was a no go. Rooms are clean and nicely put together once you get past the smell. Desk clerk was super friendly and definately accomodating. Just watch out for the tweaker farm. And keep valuables locked up just in case.

I couldn't connect my PS4 to Baymont Inn's Wi-Fi. And the light fixture wasn't working in the bathroom. Other wise, it's very nice all around. Hotel, staff. Clean too.

Nothing to complain about. Staff was kind, great last minute place to find during evacuation.

We have an 8 month old morkie puppy who was in his cage and they refused to clean our room and provide clean towels our entire stay. Spend $20 an night extra to get treated like less than other guests because you have a service animal. It is a damn shame. Skip this hotel.

The room was clean and the next day we were treated to a complimentary breakfast that was great. A wonderful lady from Jamaica worked the kitchen and was so sweet.

For one, I asked for a none smoke room and the put me in a smoke room. 2. Im laying down, and a roach crawls across my head board, I get up, and I see more in various other places. I didn't pay $205, to be staying and paying for roaches. Terrible experience.

Easy access to room, less frills means the price is lower than the others in the area, pool to relax at but I'm in Florida I don't want to stay around the hotel. Lower price means more money to spend elsewhere.

You pay for what you get. I've stayed here several times as a Baymont and several others when it was a Hampton Inn. This review is just for the Baymont stays. This is more of a motel — it has the basics and that's about it — free internet and breakfast, and a bed. Rooms and basically everything else needs updating. I've had issues with cleanliness too (given a dirty room which was switched after I complained; soap bottles that looked reused or partially used; towels with hairs on them still) and the pricing seems to attract questionable characters to say the least. I wouldn't stay here with my family. It's a shame too because the management has always been friendly and the location is close to Hurlburt/Eglin. If there were half stars I'd give it 1.5, but without serious improvements, I can see how it can be rated higher.

Nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, and quiet environment. The free breakfast should be free, it was not very good. I've been to better free hotel breakfast. Would stay there again. It's a little far from Destin/beaches despite only being 12 miles, traffic is horrible around this time of year and it can take 40 minutes to get to beaches.

We found 4 cockroaches in our room during our stay. Gave me an uneasy feeling the rest of our time there. When we complained, they came in and sprayed, but didn't seem too concerned about the matter. When I informed the manager about the situation, I was kind of shrugged off, saying he knew about the situation and was sending someone in to spray our room (our room had already been sprayed…) All I can say is you get what you pay for with this place. Will splurge a little more and go somewhere nicer next time.

Need an upgrade, too expensive for the service provided, the housekeeping made up one bed in my room; no cleaning either. It also has the smallest swimming pool I've ever seen, I've seen bigger pools at family dollar. They have horrible manager service, restrooms are so small. The housekeepers will just open your door without even knocking. The rooms also have funny smells and the parking lot is so small that I couldn't find parking at night.

They charged me 30.00 for a lost remote that the night front staff came and exchanged for me because the other one didn't work. They charged me for a whole in the blanket that I reported 56.00 and a bunch of 11.00 fees. Like seven times. I called after I saw the charges the manager wasn't there was supposed to call me back and never did. The hotel was decent but everything was broken. Tvs are old. Only good for two adults as they are very small. Construction workers everywhere that were weird looking. The pool is small and right by highway 98. They beat on the door at ten and ask if your checking out or staying again check out isn't til 11. The phone didn't work. The lady at front desk who was responsible for making sure the breakfast items were fresh had not changed the oj half the stuff was cold and we got there at 645. It should of been fresh and hot. They don't greet there guest. They are very judgemental because my husband has tattoos they treated us like convicts. The price was fair but it's not near the beach. No good view. It's small property. The Indian guy upfront was the rudest he was very rude if I asked any question. Go down the road and stay somewhere better if you are visiting. Trust me it's not a must stay.

Our stay at the Baymont Inn was Great! If you are looking for a short quiet stay or just a weekend get away. This is the place, it's location was on point we were able to find everything we needed. We traveled from Mississippi and made reservation in advance, they had our room prepared and cleaned. Checking in was convenient and checking out was convenient. Thanks Baymont staff members, we appreciate your courtesy and generosity and hope to stay again when visiting Florida.

Five Stars for being very local friendly. Clean rooms, fridge, microwave, clean, great water pressure (in showers), big screen tv, breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. The price is very affordable without sacrificing any convenience. Close to Destin and beaches. Overall 5 stars because of the value.
