The staff are so great here, its so clean and tidy and the rooms are really well kept. Especially want to say how great the lifegaurds are. They are extremely helpful and so friendly if you need something. I got a nose bleed and all the life guards made sure I was alright even when I was back swimming they asked how I was. They made our time at the pool a lot more enjoyable. Thank you so much to the life guards working on Friday 17/08/2018 around 7.30pm at the pool.

Nice room for 4 on the 7th floor. If you stay on this floor, they put a "Rock Royalty" sticker on the back of your room key, and this comes with a few perks. There is a complimentary breakfast, lunchtime snacks, happy hour with complimentary drinks (alcoholic beverages included), and evening snacks… very nice! The staff is friendly and accommodating, always smiling and willing to help. Gym is adequate, short walk to water taxis that take you on a 3 min ride to city walk, or you can take a quiet, beautifully landscaped, 6 min walk to the entrance of Universal Studios. The express passes are an awesome upgrade, and the pool is great!

The gym is a great facility with locker rooms, sauna, up to date equipment etc. Pool side is great. Rooms are nice however we had a room with an adjoining door and unfortunately you can here EVERYTHING it was literally like they were in the room. Which considering the price per night isn’t cheap is extremely annoying late at night and during the morning. Listening to general chat, snoring, phone alarms going off. Horrible. Ruined it for me. If you stay here ask to move if you have a connecting door.

One of my favorite HR! Better than any others I’ve tried. Best food and beer anywhere or any HR in the world! I mean that cause I’ve just visited 5 others through out Europe and they al sucked but one. Dublin, Ire. — Universal HR really is outstanding. I always look forward to Nachos and beer!

The service and stay was phenomenal! — Arrived at 7:30am. Arrived by shuttle from airport. And checking in was quick and smooth. — Checked in and room was ready! The young man that took our luggage up was so informative. You could tell he truly loved his job. Room spacious and clean. — Also had passes to Universal. Easy walk to park. Also water shuttle available. — Rented Cabana at pool. We all had a blast. DJ, contests and overall great atmosphere. — hungry? No issue here. Had room service served 2am, breakfast buffet available at Kitchens restaurant and small cafe open till midnight serving ice cream, pizza, Starbucks coffe, candy, beer, wine, paninis, etc. WHAT stood out the most—the raving fan customer service! THANK YOU for the great experience.

Great facilities. Good service but can improve. Can't compare with Disney world resorts service. You have to pay for packages you sent to the hotel. Great food and service on the pool restaurant.

Beautiful hotel! Check-in took a bit due to other guests cutting in line, but the front desk staff were nice. The guy at the dining/tickets desk seemed a bit impatient, but the rest of the staff made up for him. The hotel itself is a very nice 5 minute walk from Universals CityWalk, or you could take the water taxi, which my kids enjoyed. The pool was decent (with a water slide! ) and the live entertainment was unexpected and fantastic. There are several hot tubs, a kiddie pool, ping pong table, a Sandy "beach" and was just a nice place to relax. The area itself is close to amenities, like Starbucks, Walgreens, and Target. Be aware that Orlando itself is undergoing a ton of construction, so the city itself is wanting in that aspect, but the resort areas make up for it.

Really nice rooms. Spacious and clean. Wish the AC would go colder but that's my preference. The fridge could be larger too but its good. Very nice views, easy access to universal and the perk of express pass because of the room is great. Nice ride over on the boat. We really appreciate the access to Tesla HPDC and J1772 chargers. Always wish there was more but they have a good start and the best I've seen since arriving so definitely impressive.

We were treated at the desk with a Hard Rock pin for my birthday. Enjoyed a day at the parks with Express Pass entry since we were staying at the hotel. And then came back to a slice of birthday cake after we were done at the parks. Cake was delicious. Everyone from bell hops to the front desk agent were extremely helpful and very nice. It was a great experience from start to finish. Wish I had more time to enjoy there.

This is our favorite hotel at universal studios and we come back annually. Our room has been updated since the last time we started and it looks great! Everything is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Plus it's the closest (shortest walking distance) to the parks and your room key is your fast pass.

Top floor is completely VIP. Accessible via elevator or stairway with special hotel key card. The VIP floor has a special room filled with all you can eat/drink of a wide variety of food and snacks. If you're nice and ask staff might show you the suites. They are beautiful. Showers could easily fit 20 people and so could the bed. Love this resort!

We stayed at the Rock on the Florida rate at 209.00 per night normally 450.00. I absolutely loved this hotel! I will never stay on any of the Disney park/area hotels again! This will be my go to hotel for Orlando theme parks. This hotel seemed spotless like it was brand new! The vibe here was super cool and homey. It is classy and upscale in a warm and inviting way. The food at all their restaurants was very good! The pool is lovely and there is a walk path from the hotel to the City Walk that will leave you feeling the way you feel on a perfect fall day: contentment, with a wee bit of nostalgia.

Hotel is beautiful and a very short 5 min walk to the Universal parks. I was surprised to learn that the hotel is pet friendly, which is great (I love dogs), but may be a negative to some. I had a noisy dog next door, but luckily it was quiet at night during sleep. Note: pets are allowed only in "garden side" rooms.

My stay at the Hard Rock Hotel was overall amazing, everyone was very nice and helpful. There's only things that I had issues with. One, was that our room wasn't cleaned every day and we had to call a number, but they did get back to us immediately each time. The second thing is when we took a water taxi, which again was great, but I did not appreciate how two of the security guards who are supposed to pay attention to whats going failed to notice that my grandmother who is in a wheelchair was waiting longer than she should have to, to get checked by one of them. There was no line at all, they saw my mom, my sister and I because we went up to them but they did not turn around or notice my grandmother patiently. They were laughing and talking and we had to say something so they would know. The only thing I really ask is that instead of your security guards flirting that they focus on their work. Other than that we really did enjoy our experience. The restaurants were really good and the pool and hot tub was great.

Never stayed here before so figured it would be a nice getaway for my husband and I. The hotel is nice but nothing special to justify the price. The staff is nice and the hotel is clean but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you, so much so that it keeps you awake. There’s a nice little bar by the pool that serves food but it stunk of what smelled like raw sewage around the bar area. The best part is the boat that shuttles you to and from city walk. Overall, there are many other nice places to stay for a lot less money. Don’t think we will come back.

This is, by a long way, the best hotel in Orlando. Staff are great, food is delicious, pool is amazing. I have nothing negative to say about this place at all. If you're visiting Orlando check into this place, it's the coolest place in town & it's on site at the best theme parks in Orlando. Beats that place with the old mouse hands down.

Having spent one of many nights here so far, I've found the hotel clean, friendly and "rocking! ". Located right on Universal Resort, it's great to visit the two paths and the lands of Harry Potter within. The lounge on the Rock Royalty level (Club 7) is too small though and gets full very quickly.

The Hard Rock is a beautiful hotel. Modern and clean and the staff are super helpful. The pool area is an amazing beach-like experience with white sand, hit tubs, slide, and bar. The Kitchen provides an onsite restaurant and there's also a small store to buy water, alcohol, and other food items (but it's pricey).

The Kitchen, restaurant, at the Hard Rock hotel was delicious and an excellent choice for Orlando's Magical Dining. The Bacon crusted meatloaf was great, the chicken cabanero was good but the chicken was dry. It was a slow night so I assumed they used chicken that had been out for a while. Oversell experience was good though.

The service is very good. If you have any questions do whatever it takes to help you.

This was the most amazing experience we've ever had at a hotel in Orlando. The hotel itself looks awesome with rock n roll decor inside and out. We stayed in a Queen suite which was very spacious with the most comfortable beds and pillows I've ever slept in! The service of the front desk, beach club/pool servers, room service was outstanding! The pool side entertainment, DJ and live music made our experience so wonderful! The fact that Hard rock is right next to Universal and the City walk within a short walking distance was a huge bonus — although we did utilize the water taxis after a night on the city walk which was great and super convenient! The Kitchen restaurant has a large breakfast buffet with many choices and OMG hard rocks burgers are awesome! I have to say this place has the coolest employees working here, each server we met at the pool or inside was just amazingly awesome. Every question I had about Universal, The Horror nights, City walk was answered by the Hard Rock hotel staff. So, Hats off to you Hard Rock — we will return again next year and hopefully every year after. You guys Rock!

We have just started our stay at the hard Rock and so far it has been amazing. The rooms are very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Upon check in we were given a text message asking if our rooms were OK, it was a nice touch. Walking acess to the city walk is very convenient and makes vacationing super simple! Nothing to say but good things about the Hard Rock.

Very nice hotel. The walk to the parks was about 5 min. We brought our dog and they gave us a bag of goodies for her. Staff was incredibly friendly. Room service was DELICIOUS, and didn't take long at all to be delivered. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel and perfect location, less than 5 minutes walk to Universal Studios. Rock Royalty level is the perfect way to stay here, on Level 7 you get various food and drinks provided throughout the day, so you don't need to worry about buying breakfast or snacks during your stay. We stayed here twice and would definitely want to stay again.
