Absolutely horrible experience after never have one issue or complaint with our favorite brand for nearly 2 decades. We’ve been traveling to Daytona area for years to compete in a triathlon and this year my husband called to ensure the hotel had beach access with the recent hurricane. He was told yes only for us to arrive and see the pool and surrounding area was demolished and had to walk down the highway past several hotels (and had to plan for sunset) to gain access to the beach. We just wanted what we paid for — exit our hotel to the beach or honesty on the call. The manager was rude and said ‘you should not have called the 1800 number’. Extremely poor service from what we have always experienced.

Staff and location was great… I was not made aware of an extra charge and when I questioned it… the “manager/GM Bob” was extremely rude and basically bit my head off. I’m not a dishonest person, I’m willing to pay the fee, I just wasn’t made aware of it or asked about it ahead of time. It was automatically charged and I was told I should have signed a paper which I never did.

My husband was on a business trip, so the grandkids and I joined him for a few days. Nice size room with fridge, microwave and small ocean view balcony. Staff is very nice to the children, ages 6 and 3. Breakfast while here includes chocolate and plain waffles, omelettes, sausage, and 3 kinds of fresh fruit, which my grandkids love! Mini snack convenience nook near front desk is much appreciated, as I’m using it to bribe the kids! 😂

Second time we've been here. View is amazing. Large, clean rooms. Staff is awesome. Breakfast was tasty. Love the bar by pool too. Love this place and love Daytona!

Waoooooo. Is an AMAZING place.! The staff is so friendly. Rooms are super clean. The breakfast is delicious and the lady for this area is super nice. The ocean view, pool, jacuzzi, the pina colada from Tiki bar are AWESOME! I recommended this place 200% for couples and family. 👍

Had a wonderful time we had a oceanfront view top floor definitely recommend! The pool was beautiful a little warm but nice! Very easy access to the beach. There is a nice tiki bar restaurant good food! Will definitely be back again.

The friendliest staff I've ever had at a hotel. The lady at breakfast will always say good morning, smiles at the kids. The cleaning staff asks if everything is good. Naomi at the front desk, second to none. Even the late night guy was friendly and immediately available. Top notch group.

It's a great place to stay and has a great staff and has a great tiki bar as well. Will stay here all the time for now on. Tammy at the front desk is amazing!

Checked into hotel 10/2/20 room was filthy dirty. I went to front desk they sent someone to clean they did nothing. I pulled sheet back there was a piece of tape with blood on it. There was hair all in bathroom floor. This was our anniversary weekend that was ruined because we came home. The manager did not call me I had to call her and all she done was say I am sorry.

I took my two granddaughters for a quick get away and This hotel was absolutely Amazing! The rooms are beautiful and very clean! Every staff member was so courteous and friendly! Chris at the front desk was awesome. We arrived pretty early and they had our room ready and allowed us to check in. I also requested a late check out so the kids could have a little longer to play at the beach and they generously gave us an extra few hours at no charge. I've stayed in Daytona for many many years and this was by far the best experience. Thank You Hampton.

This is a very good hotel overall. It does have some flaws but no one is perfect. The breakfast had an omelette every day and seemed to be made a different way everyday, so in that regard it would’ve been nice to have variety. Staff is friendly and helpful except there was some house keepers who did not seem to enjoy their job at all. Overall a wonderful and relaxing week and will be back to see you guys in February for these beautiful views for race week 2021! :)

Absolutely great experience beautiful sunrises friendly staff. Whether it’s this time where there is chaos or normal business it’s a great great place to stay.

We have a balcony view and it is awesome ❤️. There was broken glass across from our room, when we called they immediately cleaned it up.

Perfect location, a stones throw from beach, breakfast very nice and staff super accommodating, really comfy beds and soft feather pillows, and a king size each!

We love Hampton inn hotels wherever we go we find one to stay always very clean front desk helpful with recommendations nice relaxing atmosphere in all of them. Currently barefoot ocean front balcony enjoying the sounds of crashing waves!

It's a Hampton Inn. Nothing over the top or anything that stood out beyond any other. The breakfast bar is different everyday. The coffee in the lobby is ok all day long. The staff is polite. The rooms are clean. The parking lot is tight, but everything is in Daytona. For the most part it's quiet.

The service at this Hampton Inn sets it apart. I have stayed there several times, and the staff always goes above and beyond to ensure an exceptional experience for guests. The staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive… they seem to take real pride in their work. This Hampton Inn gets A+ for cleanliness too! I am excited to return after the renovations are complete!

Brand new hotel with no damege of previous hurricanes. Not enough personal during rush hours, sometimes I've seen a long check-in line. Compared to Daytona Beach hotel's rates the service should be better. Small parking lot! Pool area and facilities clean.

Room was nice and roomy. View of ocean but also on the end so the balcony was out of the sun all day (faced to North). I burn easily so that was nice for me. Room was clean and comfortably cool. The free breakfasts were good and the offerings changed slightly every day. There was also free coffee n the lobby. Staff were very friendly, kind, helpful, and patient. This includes all the staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Lovely staff. Love the splash area for the little ones. Breakfast was good and plenty. I would recommend this to anyone that plans a visit at Daytona. The boardwalk is only 1 mile away and the little beach section in front of the hotel is clean and not crowded at all. Just loved our stay.

This hotel was great for our family weekend getaway! We selected a two room suite with city views which was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the included breakfast, pool, and beach areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We.

We had a great weekend getaway here. First time staying here and it was good. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. AMAZING breakfast! We choose this hotel instead of where we usually stay because where we usually stay no longer has a Jacuzzi. The one here was definitely worth the stay. Very big and hot. The only thing I would recommend is having some music out by the pool area. Thank you for your great staff we will definitely be back.

Beautiful the experience, but for such a high price I was hoping to be amazed. We had a lovely room, but the pool closes at sundown and was patroled by rude security guards. I loved the room service, and recommend the terrace rooms, but we kept finding ants in the bathroom. 3/5 but I would stay again.

Awesome hotel! Front desk was very friendly. When We checked in they tried to accommodate a special request that we had as well. We got a 2nd floor city view suite. Room was very spacious and clean! Loved the free coffee/tea in the lobby. Breakfast was included which was hot/cold items (eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, cereals, waffle makers, fruit, etc. ) pool area had a hot tub and a small pool. There was a splash pad thing for little kids but it wasn’t on during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property right on the water. Room 1-10 face the ocean. Room 11-16 face the street. Within walking distance to the boardwalk and lots of dinning option. The staff is very helpful and they offer a breakfast free to guests. Would stay here again. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

This hotel is reasonably priced. It is extremely clean and well taken care of. We stayed at a Hilton Resort in Orlando prior to coming here that was not nearly as nice as this Hampton Inn. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is the perfect temperature and open until 11 pm. Along with a nice hot tub. There are microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. There is also a coin operated laundry for those that need to wash clothes while here as well. I am so pleased with our stay here. Our room has a balcony and overlooks the ocean. You can also walk right out into Daytona Beach from this hotel.

First time in Daytona and only had room booked for one day. Loved this place so much we booked a second night. Great breakfast. Awesome beach front rooms. Great pool area. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice hotel. Quiet location and nice oceanfront rooms. Front desk Matt was excellent and more than helpful. Won't go wrong staying at this property. Breakfast was great and lady was very helpful with knowledge.

We travel a lot for Gym meets. We stay at a lot of Hamptons. This one redeemed themselves but it was a traumatizing check in. There was hair all over the mattress cover (I always do a precautionary bed check) and then after all the hair I saw a bug on the wall above the headboards. After 20+ minutes analyzing it, I concluded it was a beetle, but first impressions were disastrous. For the price and the name, I shouldn’t see a speck of hair from anybody but my family. The staff was great and accommodating though. Changed all the sheets and mattress covers. We would t exclude this from our beach front options in the future but will be very skeptical coming in.

Best customer service and the whole packages. I am very very satisfied with all services. Best breakfast and room are sooo comfortable and very clean. The best vacation ever. I would like to go back to the same hotel. Great job!

It was very clean and the staff was very polite and the beach clean.

I enjoyed my stay. As a gold member, I was recognized at check in by a gentlemen during second shift, he also offered a two o'clock check out which was appreciated. The next morning we were greeted by housekeepjng and breakfast. Was very pleased to see their smiling faces so early! I was disappointed in the morning desk staff though. There were two young woman, not very friendly whatsoever. One was even talking about a guest to another! Really shocking. But you can't expect the same service across all Hiltons. Morning front desk staff should be more courteous, perhaps more training and respect for others.

The front desk attendants are superb. The rooms are nice. But the room service is a little sloppy. Tighten that up and it would definitely get 5 stars. Plus the suites are not on beach front which is a bummer if you have a larger family and want the view.

Had to switch rooms after checking in. Occupants in the room next to ours were smoking weed. Told the front desk and while they did upgrade us, it was almost comical to them when we complained. The room that we were put in is literally right next to the ice machine on our floor. So there’s nothing like waking up every couple of hours to the sound of other guests getting ice. The lamps outside by the pool are falling over. The concrete steps that lead to the beach are falling apart and have no hand rail half of the way down making it really easy for little kids to slip and fall. Not the Hampton inns that were used to. Definitely wouldn’t come back to this location. Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else.

Delightful 3 night stay! I was able to select my own room online which did not disappoint. Lovely top floor ocean front room with a balcony. The entire staff were accommodating and so kind. Housekeeping staff did a great job daily and the complimentary breakfast for what it is helps me stay in my budget. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Thanks for a relaxing mini vacation!

The Hampton Inn Daytona has some awesome rooms. The Atlantic Ocean View, is breathtaking! The staff is very nice and friendly! Would highly recommend the hotel. We're visiting in December and is just perfect.

The rating on this place on Google did not disappoint! Our room had a great view of the ocean with a balcony. I expected such a clean hotel since it's on the ocean but I was surprised. Staff was great too.

We had a room overlooking the sea. As far as we could see, all rooms have a balcony with chairs.

We stayed here for our honeymoon a year ago and returned for our first anniversary because we loved it so much. They have extensive breakfast options, the rooms look like you're the first one ever staying here, the front desk staff are great. When we checked in the manager texted me to make sure everything was okay with our room. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The view is amazing from the ocean front rooms. We love this hotel I'd say it's the best in Daytona beach.

Large, clean room. Friendly and attentive staff. The pool is a little small, but it's clean and refreshing. Having direct access to the beach is great, and having a huge box of beach toys is a big plus for those with kids. Would definately stay here again!

Recently visited by a friend of mine, it's got a great shot of the beach. Great continental breakfast, nice pool to relax in, and a workout center is located here, too. Very nice and clean rooms, very spacious. Respectful staff as well.

I have not stayed in this hotel buy I would still like to write a review. My parents live in Daytona, as did I for 20 years. Today, after hurricane Irma, my parents had been without power for about 2 days. They rented a room a couple hours ago in order to get power and hopefully a shower! After getting checked in and settled, they ran back to their home for a few things and realized the power was back on. The Hampton gladly gave them their money back. This doesn't sound like much but it is. Hotels do not have to do this, especially during disasters. I just want to say thank top your company for doing the right thing!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Was accommodating for my motorcycle. Room we had was very private but I would have liked a tub instead of just a shower.

This is a great hotel in a great location. It has an outdoor pool and deck, and a hotel type hot breakfast is included with your stay. The rooms are very nice, with all modern amenities. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the pool water is cloudy. We are here for 5 days, so I'll revise my rating if it gets corrected.

One of the rare occasions where reality overcomes expectations. The hotel offers exactly everything we could ask for at a price that is hard to find for a Florida beach hotel. The room was really big with a walk in closet, was recently refurbished with quality materials and mattress, double glazed windows and room doors that they really provided sound isolation. All rooms have a balcony and views at the ocean, the breakfast is ok for the room price and the parking is ample and free. There are amenities and equipment of a 5 star hotel and to conclude if you are at Daytona beach this is a really nice choice.

Excellent rooms, great room service, good breakfast, hot tub was nice and hot, the pool was nice and open pretty late. Would definitely come back! Very comfortable beds.

Great stay! No problems except for the bathroom sink didn't drain properly, mentioned it to the front desk and within 5 minutes they had someone in our room who fixed it. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and lovely to chat with. We had a beachfront room and it is a gorgeous view! The pool is warm and so relaxing. Rooms were clean and beautiful, the hot breakfast was lovely and didn't taste like it had been sitting there for a while (had that experience in other hotels). Overall it was a perfect stay and we will definitely be returning to this hotel when we come back to Daytona Beach.

Modern rooms. Reminded me of a New York City apt. Polite staff, my room was called a few mins after checking in to make sure everything was ok. I've stayed in many hotels and that was the first time that had been done. FREE parking!

The staff is amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. The pool and pool area was really great during the day when it was hot. Hot tub and fire pit were great at night. Rooms were clean. Beach front room did seem a little small, but did have a great view. And breakfast in the morning had lots of selections and was good.

This was wonderful! Clean and good breakfast like all HI but pool and "toddler spray area" great! Ocean front beautiful beach. Chairs/umbrellas available to rent through the county venders on beach. This hotel has a nice storage box that had beach toys available to borrow. (It was a take one /share one type box and we really appreciated it. What a good idea). Ocean view rooms have a nice balcony too.

We recently stayed on a short vacation. I like places that are well maintained and clean. The hotel is only about five years new. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was good. Had an oceanfront room with a balcony which was perfect. Laundry facility available which was a big help. I liked the location which is the northern end of Daytona Beach. The beach was great as was the pool. This Hampton Inn checks all the boxes. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful four day vacation. Very clean, great maid service. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Our oceanfront view was so relaxing and just what we needed. Breakfast was great too. We will stay at Hampton for sure whenever we go to Daytona again.

This hotel is excellent. It is very clean, has excellent service and a great location right on the beach. Breakfast bar is incredibly clean and we'll maintained by friendly staff. We would definitely return to this hotel. One interesting fact/word of caution… cars are allowed to drive on the beach! This was a surprise!

We paid for an ocean view but got a partial view. Still beautiful on the side. Room was clean and great. It was great 2 day vacation. Great beach temperatures. Would recommend this place again to anyone. Free breakfast was really good too. Friendly staff!
