Review of Magnuson Hotel Clearwater Beach 2*

First when we come, there is construction. Mess all over. Breakfeast is cheap. Staff is not helpful or respectful. Too old. Maids are okay. Tub clogged 3 days — no one unclogged it! BEDS ARE SO BAD! IDK if you can even call it breakfeast. Its like a cheap motel. I would cry if I was in a standard room. Sink leaks. Pool is small. For all the people here. LOUDD! Old lift. It takes forever to get to 4th floor. You could hear the elevator in our room. Sagging rust. On the refridgerator. Discusting. In the pool — on the sides like where it says 4ft, etc. There was so much filth that I could write with it. Channels are bad. Internet can't even work. Only good thing was the beach was like 1 block away. Discusting and dirty! Door is falling off of bathroom. Bathroom and carpet have stains all over. We thought the upgrade we got was going to be better than standard and I assume it was but still. Great view but construction is in our way. We could barely get out. They were in front of our doorstep. Staff stares at you like your from mars. TAKE MY ADVICE — NEVERRRRR GO HERE! The front desk staff upgraded us for $10. Had rain so beach was a LITTLE dirty. We saw a Manatee. I found a pearl under the sand. Everything was pretty much terrible. Gift shop was WAY overpriced. EXAMPLE (REAL) : There was a cup for drinking in the $1 store. They were selling the EXACT SAME thing for $10! Unreal. Staff was rude and unwelcoming. Maids were nice. Noisy. Elevator at midnight was loud. Air conditioning leaking. No carpeting outside of our door (4th floor). They took it out and were putting new cement. Loudy from all the construction, makes the floor shake. Terrible and uncomfortable pull-out sofa. Windows are peeling. Gross. Dusty. Discusting behind the sofa. Never will come back. Never. We didn't use our car except for when we had gone to publix and walmart.
