Great Hotel. Everything was good, only thing is mattresses are to soft, didn’t sleep well because of that so 8/10 When leaving an older man who was in charge of the parking gave our Uber driver a hard time as he had to pull in to pick us up, 2-3 mins to put luggage in trunk. The elderly gentleman was disgracefully rude.

I loved this resort like Hotel, my room was perfect, had a balcony and very clean. Drinking water located at the gym, the Harbour Passage next to the pool deck kept us entertained all afternoon…. Lots of dolphins 🐬

I loved this hotel but in some ways it has gone downhill. The service and upkeep, cleaning has deteriorated. They need to find people to take care of this place — the rooftop bar servers who have pride in their work, housekeeping who clean well and everyday, outside maintenance who take pride in this place, and a thorough cleaning of the infinity pool. Come on people step up!

I love the Edge Hotel and feel honored to photograph these incredible sunsets from here as a local! The staff are the friendliest! The views are AMAZING! It just doesn't get any better! Great hotel. Lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance. The Infinity pool looks out over the water where we saw a manatee and dolphins. The bars were a blast and service throughout the hotel was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

Horrible hotel experience. First they charge a $30 daily rate for the use of amenities and parking, which I thought was only if you parked at location, when booking. Second, restaurant upstairs is horribly slow. Third, room service never came to our room to clean or provide needed items. Fourth, our refrigerator stopped working the day before check out. We had some products go bad because of it. I like the quality and location of hotel but the customer service is lacking!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Think twice before booking. Would have been a great experience if it was not for the front desk and bartenders. The worst ever! Front desk is not knowledgeable of the area. Bartenders are not accommodating and slow. Both are rude at times. We switched hotels mid stay.

An absolutely fabulous hotel! We loved our stay at Edge Hotel this week. Everything is clean & Immaculate including lobby, rooms, Pool area, etc. Very friendly helpful staff at front desk, at rooftop & pool bars, room cleaning staff — everyone we came in contact with always said hello with a smile. We needed service on our room TV & it was handled immediately. A very friendly serviceman who gave us lots of information on things to do & wouldn’t take a tip. The included breakfast was wonderful with a huge array of breakfast food choices. Our corner balcony room was large & airy with beautiful sunset views. Very comfortable bed. Some reviews didn’t like the pillows. I have to agree a bit & glad we brought our own. But a very very minor issue. The pool & infinity pool are wonderful. Pretty easy to get a lounge at any time. Great drink menu at the pool bar & rooftop bar has fabulous views & light fare menu. Easy to find parking in the garage. Easy to walk to lots of restaurants & shops. Access to beach just down the block. So happy we changed our booking from Opal Sands (Next door) to the Edge. So much more for the $. There are just no negatives here — everything is absolutely perfect at Edge Hotel!

Everyone one was super friendly and helpful! We went to the restaurant for lunch on the roof top and our waiter Jeremy was amazing and Friendly, and when we asked questions he was helpful and took time to keep checking on us witch was nice. The food was very good as well.

Pays pages like Clearwater Beach is Awesome to promote them and they are okay with stealing other people's photos and using it as there own. Instead of fixing it and giving the photographer credit they rather delete the photo. Business ethics is pretty much scum and from the looks of some of the review the hotel is scum too.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable, clean rooms with great views! Great amenities such as the infinity pool, rooftop bar, breakfast & right on the water! Employees were helpful and polite. A little pier hidden in the back that not many people know about that you can watch the sunset & boats. Within walking distance of entertainment & food.

My husband and I just spent a few wonderful days at the Edge! Our room was spacious and very clean. We got a pool terrace room and it was so convenient to be right off of the pool deck and bar! Our bartenders were friendly and quickly remembered our names and favorite drinks. The breakfast was great, they had pancakes, eggs, a protein, and potatoes every morning along side bakery items and toast/bagels, the breakfast types also changed each morning so it wasn’t the exact same. The pools were amazing, we spent a majority of our time in the infinity pool taking in the views. Since it is a rooftop pool there were plenty of shady spots during the day to relax if you don’t want to be under direct sun. We have no complaints of the resort fee because it was noted before we even booked our reservation, the beautiful views/bars/food/location/rooms made it well with it. We also became passport to paradise members for free and got credit for our next stay! We will absolutely be back!

I stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding that I was in this past weekend that was hosted at the hotel. The customer service we experienced was above and beyond. There was some wedding drama per the usual but the staff handled it perfectly and couldn't have made us feel any better! Also, the wedding coordinator Jimmy was fantastic! The shuttle driver that was supposed to take us to the beach for pictures called off or something so Jimmy stepped up and drove us, plus he got out of the van to double check we were at the correct sport before making everyone get out of the AC! I'm getting married next month in Pittsburgh and I so wish I had someone like Jimmy to help on my wedding day! You won't regret it!

Best hotel hands down. I had my wedding there this past weekend and I just couldn’t believe the effort and stride the entire staff from the bell hoppers to the housekeeping. Absolutely incredible. Jimmy the wedding planner, he def needs a raise. He was on top, he was even literally running up and down the beach to see where the photographer was. At the end of the wedding they allowed everyone in my wedding to jump in the pool with our wedding attire. I can’t thank the entire staff so much for everything they have done for us. The rooms are awesome. I have a 2 year old so the gated splash pad was perfect, they even supplied us with a crib for her. ***** hotel.

We stayed here for a wedding of our friends and the place is gorgeous! It’s clean the staff is wonderful especially Jimmy the wedding planner! What a great guy he is he did everything asked and more for my friends wedding really goes above and beyond we all loved him! The pool area was beautiful the food was good. Drinks a little pricy but that was expected. Would definitely come back!

Great location, top rooms feel like cruising. All amenities, very clean staff helpful. Wonderful pool. Easy access to clearway er with trolleybus which free with accommodation. Nice choice of restaurants. Had seriously improved since my last stay here.

First of all, this hotel has the bones of what could make it pretty spectacular. The infinity pool is amazing and the view is gorgeous, although as I have seen mentioned you’d think the glass would get cleaned. Whoever says it gets cleaned several times a day I’d like to know when that is. Checked in and stayed the night for a friends birthday. The girls working behind the counter seemed bored and uninterested in their jobs. No one was overly friendly or inviting. Decided to go to the pool for a bit. It is “slow” season for them so you’d think the bartender would be happy to have a guest, instead accused me of trying to play some game with him because I asked him to come up with something off the menu. Another employee who came off as rude and uninterested in having us there. Went out to dinner that night and came back to the hotel and got on the elevator with someone working the upstairs bar (I only know that because of what she was wearing and where she was headed). No hi or hello or acknowledgement and our elevator was full so there’s your chance to talk to some guests and get them excited to come have a drink. So we passed on checking out the rooftop bar even though it looked beautiful from the street. Let’s talk about the free breakfast. While the food was good and I think this is a lovely touch, it’s extremely tacky to tell your guests that you used to charge 10.95 for breakfast but now it’s free so tips are appreciated.

We just came back from a week visit, my only negative is I was under the impression we had beach access at the hotel. However it wasn't a far walk. There was so much within walking distance. Everything about our experience was great, staff very friendly. The bartender Randy was awesome while spending time at the pool. Very relaxed, clean and completely enjoyable experience for my whole family. We loved chic too randys buddy. Breakfast the people were attentive and very nice. Definitely would visit again. We are 2 parents with a 2 year old. Edge gave us room 838. We were very impressed at first, but it took just a few minutes to realize our room was very noisy. I requested a different room multiple times but the staff only offered an upgrade of $50/night extra. I checked my booking site (Priceline) and the hotel's site and they both had rooms available for our dates. We could not sleep! Every honk and every car with loud music woke us up. And during a 6 night stay we had 3 or 4 different neighbors and all of them either had a party late at night or had children that woke up early and the parents would yell at them. The walls don't stop any noise coming from 836. There are plenty of other hotels around so we'll definitely try to avoid the Edge.

We stayed here for the first time last weekend to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. From the time we arrived to the time we left everything was amazing. Every single staff member we came across went above and beyond to help and make us feel welcomed. The restaurants, rooms and pool were all awesome, we'll definitely be back!

My friends stayed here when they visited. I found the place to be very nice quality. The pool area and bar areas were very nice. Great location, too. Not far from the main drag of Clearwater Beach, and close to some good places to eat.

Nice clean hotel. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Short walk to the public beach. The pool area could use some livening up. It was dead most nights while other hotel pools in the area had lots of fun activity going on.

Stayed in Clearwater for the first time with some family. Absolutely loved the Marriot. They have the shuttle pick you up right in front of the resort. The view of the clear blue/green ocean from our room made our morning even better. From the beautiful pool to the bar outside. Everything was fantastic. I will be staying again.

Customer service very polite and professional. The Edge does not offer room service for their top floor restaurant, you can however charge your room if you get something. Very clean and happy with our stay. The edge pool was nice and enjoyable. Pool light was awesome at night!

Staff is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and updated. The shower is awesome and comes with a detached shower head that's helpful for showering a small child. Food at the hotel is great. Love that they have Starbucks, treats and ice cream. Love the complimentary shuttle to Sand Key beach and the use of the jolly trolley for free to get around Clearwater with hotel key card. The pool is awesome and has a waterfall. Love that they gave a macaw bird, Lisa, at the hotel. I highly recommend.

Room was nice and we enjoyed the view from our balcony. Spent more time at the pool than the beach because of the beautiful view and warm pool water. Breakfast was also good each day. My only complaints would be 1) we had noisy neighbors on the other side of the conjoined room door. Could hear every word they said up until 1:30am. And 2) the woman operating breakfast would begin blocking off the entrance and standing around ten minutes before it closed, and began removing food items before breakfast was officially over both mornings. We also heard her say "close it, I'm not going to keep giving people juice" when families with children were still enjoying their breakfast. Just rude and inconsiderate, something to consider if you enjoy sleeping in a little or get a late start to breakfast. Give yourself plenty of time because once 10am hits, you are completely blocked from all food and beverage aside from coffee.

Room itself was nothing special for the price amenity wise… with non optional resort fee and taxes we paid 300 a night for a King Gulf View room. Gulf View was AMAZING… highly recommend those rooms. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only one restaurant on the roof, but easy walk down to more options. Pools are nice and clean and we're open late, even though signage said they close at dawn. Breakfast was included… but was a limited option that changed daily. Would go back again if we can catch a discount weekend.

The hotel is very modern and beautiful. The hotel sits in the heart of Pier 60. You can stand on balcony from the street view you see the action on strip. Roof top bar and grill Jimmy's was nice. The layout of the hotel is near the checking in/lobby on the 6 floor and it faces the pool. My only complaint was the breakfast not worth paying for.

We stayed last minute for only one night for a beach getaway. The hotel was very impressive on first glance. It was nice to have free parking too, which seems rare for the area. We had our children with us. You can tell the hotel was recently renovated and it looks nice, but may be a little too "modern". Front door is a wide open window, and the the back balcony is also a wide open window to pool. The darkening curtains were helpful. The bathroom door is a sliding door, which you cannot lock. The showerhead is nice, but the shower doors are see through. No bathtub. The two double beds were old, must not have been replaced during the renovation. Very bouncy, noisy and one of them had a big dent in the middle. By the way, the doors to the bedroom from the living room area do not lock or close completely. I usually love Marriott, but this one may be more appropriate for couples getting away, versus families. I did feel like the room was spacious for the family though. Just wish the bathroom and bed situation was a little more family friendly. Did not get a chance to use the pool as we were visiting the beach, but it looked nice.

It's formal and business friendly while being extraordinarily welcoming to families and kids. Jeremy the balloon guy is amazing. The free shuttle to sand key beach park is super fast (the beach is actually walkable) and that jolly trolley over to Clearwater runs ever half hour.

Comfortable and clean hotel with a very nice pool area. Perfect to go here with children. Downsides we encountered: 1. Too thin walls between rooms — you hear your neighbors. If the wall would be a little bit thinner then you probably could see them 2. A/C is to loud, running 24/7. No chance to switch it off. Even on 'OFF' the fan runs. Also when the set target temperature is reached. You always feel a 'wind' blowing around your head in the night. Front-desk argued that it's because of the humidity… Hm…

It was good, very modern, which was quite nice, with a beautiful view of the water (towards the mainland) and walking distance from Sand Key State Park, where you can swim in the gulf. The staff was nice. My issues were that the elevators were getting repaired, which is understandable and that the internet in the rooms was NOT free unless you were a rewards member and you had to communicate with the operator for access if it was included.

What a beautiful resort. My wife and I started here for one night, and we were very pleased. The room was very clean and very big. The shower was amazing, and the bed was extremely comfortable. This hotel has a beautiful pool with 2 waterfalls and a hot tub. I felt as though I was on a cruise while sitting out by the pool. Very peaceful. Very relaxing.

Rent your JetSki‘s or wave runners here! We hung out at the Marriott before and after renting a pair of jet skis and the place is beautiful. Every staff member greeted us and was super friendly. And the couple running the rental both were amazing… super professional and really friendly. We hung out and talked with them for a while after an hour on the bay. Also really enjoyed the pool and bar area at the Marriott… Looks like a great place to hang out.

Staying at this hotel was a terrible experience, and an expensive one at that. We chose to stay here because we were in a wedding at Opal Sands and this seemed quite a bit less expensive, but after the resort fee (which I still don't understand because there were no luxuries of a resort) and parking, the room was $320 a night. We would have been much better off at Opal Sands. First off, there was no one to help us with our bags when we arrived or left. We were carrying heavy luggage, and the staff just watched us struggle to carry it. In fact, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful on several occasions throughout our two day stay. As for the room: the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat. The room was cheaply put together and just not comfortable or luxurious in any way. Bare minimum. The bath products were horrible and there was zero service of any kind. Our view was atrocious, and the pool area wasn't clean or anywhere near as nice as it looks in pictures. They boast a beautiful infinity pool, and even that was misrepresented in photos as the part that is supposed to look into the water was blocked by thick, dirty glass. To top it all off, we were kept up all night by really loud hotel guests. The walls were paper thin. We heard every noise our neighbors made. We could even see the lights from their TV and room very brightly underneath a door that connected the rooms. They were up partying until 6am.

It's Marriott what else do I need to say? Those who know? Know! You'll love it and have a great time here and in Clearwater Beach and I prefer these properties I Sand key as they're much quieter and refined than staying on the actual what I call Clearwater Beach strip. There's a lot of action and movement over there but when you want to relax away from that? Stay in Sand key, it's right over the bridge still close enough to the action with a free shuttle bus that rolls around? C'mon man.

Totally misrepresented the room and facility. A bs glorified Howard Johnson with more kids then you would ever want in one place without being paid to be there. The walk to the beach was a path… no kidding… through high rise buildings. My companion had to literally stop 5 x to catch his breathe it’s so far and uneven to walk on. We live in a beach town at home and this was just laughable. The room was so small we called our guests and told them NOT to join us … that it just was not worth the trip! The meal we had … one of us gave gave it a 3.0 and I gave it 4.0 of 5! The staff was fine! I should have known when I chose to self park and realized that my car was in danger … the spots were SO small a Mini would just have enough room! You couldn’t park the car in the spot and exit the car! You had to let your passengers out before you parked then had to Mambo and shimmy yourself out of the 6” to spare. The room over looked a kids pool! The best view of sunset was from the hallway near the elevators! The traffic was horrendous! And there is no breakfast included! What a complete waste of time and money! I would have driven home but we were meeting family in two days! This place is lucky I wrote this after day 1! It didn’t get any better! Too crowed and just an uncomfortable place to be!

Big rooms, nice view, helpful staff. Located on sand key, so it's not right in the middle of the clearwater beach area. To get to town you will need to walk up and over the bridge or take the trolley. Walk next door to Maggi Mae's diner for a reasonable breakfast or lunch. Columbia restaurant is next door for a more formal dinner. Mot much else in walking distance. At least parking is free here, unlike most places in town.

Very nice hotel, located in good spot, and just short trolley ride to the Pier 60 area. Food is expensive here. And no business center with computer that can do printing out of business stuff like I have seen at Hilton properties. Missing a real business center is the reason for 4 stars, otherwise I would have given it five stars. Property is good shape and up to Marriott standards. All hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, fun pool, nice cabanas by the pool, great gym, great kids activities — Kyla is great, beautiful area, easy boardwalk to other shops that connects to the hotel. Conference area is very nice. Staff did a great job. Tyler and Brendan were very helpful. Valet staff and desk staff were very helpful.

The rooms here are amazing! Felt at home, everyone that works there are very kind and helpful. Had dinner and drinks at the bar, Ashley was very busy but still made me feel welcome and was very friendly! Well trained on menu items and cocktails! Will definitely come back!

We went to watercolors restaurant New year's eve. We were extremely pleased with the chef selected special menu. We had filet which were tender and cooked to our specification. Our friend had a hot and cold water lobster which she described as perfect. Appetizers and dessert accompanied the meal. Music was from 60's. The service was excellent. It was expensive but worth it for New year's Eve. Ed.

My first visit to Clearwater and the employees their made it amazing. Bartender Rick Willams was the best. His interaction and conversations with us and others made our stay great. The doorman Bob, what can I say he is the best. He took care of us and made us feel so welcomed. He told us about things in the hotel and around the area. He drove us to a near by beach and had a bunch of fun toys, boards and chairs to make our time on the beach great. These two employees get 5 star ratings from us.

This Marriott is absolutely amazing and the staff is WONDERFUL! Every single person was smiling and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone. We traveled with our 1 year old and it was an excellent stay for kids as well. We will definitely be going back and would only stay at this location!

We were at the Prefix dinner last night for New Years Eve. We both had a great time. From the check in girl at 505 Restaurant to our servers and bartender at the pool they were great. The fireworks were phenomenal. Our view was The Best. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The value was great. Food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go there during the daytime to really appreciate the view. Also a must for Next year. Thank you!

Feel myself obligated to leave 5 star review to all employees of this hotel. Starting from the gentlemen greeting you outside the building to the front desk workers, as well as cleaning ladies. Our week stay there was last month & it felt like being home. Everyone was super helpful & attentive. Location wise, it couldn't be better with everything within walking distance or a short ride. Parking right next to the building, beautiful views of the bay. Balcony was a treat & sunsets & sunrises — an unexpected bonus. Took tons of pix straight from the balcony. Thanks again & hope to see you soon.

We stay at many hotels typically Marriott and this one is definitely is at the top our list. The rooms are spacious, the views are breadth taking and they cater to kids very well. They even treated my husband to champagne on his birthday! We can't wait to go back!

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was very welcoming. Especially in the restaurant and bar. The room was very comfortable with plenty of room. We had a suite with a fold out sofa in the front room. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that you have to pay daily for Wi-Fi.

Loved staying here at sand key. I come all the time! This is my 1st time at the mariott and WOW am I impressed. Amazing amenities and features but what I loved most may have been their pet bird Lisa! What a great idea the guests all love her.

Rooms are not for six. Quite a few modern but the bathroom door that's in it. Middle of the. Room is sliding and closes badly. My wife. I'm locked up with my daughter. Nice place. If there are 5 or 6 slender rooms left girls.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a clogged sink, the maintenance man arrived promptly and fixed the problem quickly. Mike the driver of the beach van is very personable and a great asset to the hotel. The pool & splash pad for the kids is fantastic. Really the only negative thing I can think of is the lack of storage / drawer space in the suites. Other than that, we had a very nice vacation and wouldn't hesitate for a minute to stay here again.

I have stayed in many many Marriotts. This is by far the best one I have ever stayed in. The rooms are amazing. The views are amazing. The service is amazing. About 250 yards from the beach. Just a short drive to shops, restaurants, and all kinds of entertainment. Spent the day on the beach, in crystal clear water. While swimming, we had a huge school of fish swarm us. Thought that was one of the coolest things I've ever seen, until the massive manatee swam within 2 ft of us. Absolutely an amazing place.

This is one of the better hotels we have stayed at, the rooms are clean, food at the restaurants is good, great location, drinks are stiff, free shots at sunset, beds are comfy, even the shampoo, soap and conditioner are from bath and body works. Not on the beach but plenty of action on the water, we see dolphins every evening. We will be back next year for sure!

No frills but just what we needed and at a great rate! Private beach, private pool and hot tub, small kitchenettes in each room, balconies (only some with a view), perfect view from the beach, awesome location right on Clearwater beach with lots of fun activities, good bars, and restaurants in walking distance. We'll be back! Note: The new building next door is WAY too close, but that's not this place's fault. No view from one side of the hotel. Parking was really tight on 4th of July weekend! Glad we got there early.

All of the hotel staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating. Fair parking, great location from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The room was as described from booking online. The bed was clean and comfy. The kitchenette was stocked with plates and utensils, as well as clean. Everything was as expected, minus the bathroom. It APPEARED to be clean but it smelled so strongly of stale urine. It was awful, worse than a public restroom. (And that's coming from someone that works in a hospital and is use to all sorts of smells. ) We had to use our sun block spray to cover up the smell. I suppose we'd be willing to book here again as long as the room rate is reasonable.

Not a bad place they have a pool, attached beach, bar, IHOP. They call it a resort but that it's not all inclusive, beach chairs are extra and I've overheard other complaining about hidden fees.

After an hour everyone on shouting say it was a false alarma. La worst experience of my life. Charge for all parking. 15 $ per day and to top it off they charge $ 100 for others if something happens to the room and give it back … as the restaurant food other than pouting 5 people $ 170 bad lunch. Ese hotel called it terrorism hotel not recommend 0000puntos when the alarm sounded thought it was a bomb or terrorist attack firefighters arrived just never got false alarm response many guest left the hotel that night. 0000000 stars if you want a holiday horror stay in Holliday Inn Clearwater …

The uber thay had me download picked us up we ended up crashing he did not have insuranse people dont have these people have uber or lyft pick you up clearwater uber and lyft dont have insurance to cover you holiday inn lied to us about the ride share we almost got KILLED.

Save your money! DO NOT STAY HERE. My husband and I decided to do an impromptu stay at the beach and unfortunately this location was the only one available from the ones we called. The rooms are not clean. We found a finger nail in one of the bathrooms. The balcony was so hot due to the back part of the AC units being on the balcony. We couldn't even enjoy sitting outside because of the extreme heat from the units. There is also horrible music that plays from their restaurant which last until 11 pm. We will NEVER stay there again.

It's mamorial day weekend and all. But for the price me and my gf paid to stay in a handicapped room with absolutely no view but of the maintenance room out on the side of the hotel was a sad deal if you ask me. Valet parking was never mentioned and not included in the room price. Umbrellas out on beach are not included in price either. We will never be staying here again. Can't believe people conduct buisness this way!

Room was great. Restaurant was mediocre. Lots of construction currently. No beach, have to walk about 10 minutes. But at least you don't have to fight for a parking space.

The Coconut Cove is awesome. Great value for the price. Lola is a sweet heart! All the staff is very friendly. Will stay again.

Warning to anyone considering this hotel. There is NO parking available other than valet services, no warning of the cost. In a recent booking were assured space for two vehicles per room. Upon arrival I could not park onsite. The first night I had to park in a satellite parking lot away from the hotel. The second night I was refused parking anywhere on their property due to having an oversized vehicle, a 4 door pickup. The staff was very difficult to deal with and does not feel responsible to provide reasonable parking for its paying customers. I had to rent overnight parking from another business.

This review is moreso about service than anything. I booked a room for my family Thursday night but unfortunately the hotel overbooked so I was sent to a partner property just across the street called Quality Resorts. The Coconut Cove staff was beyond gracious and I received my stay FOR FREE at their expense due to the over booking. I was very pleased with the way they handled the dilemma. I have stayed at Coconut Cove in the past and was very pleased with the condition of my room. Even though I did not stay at Coconut Cove this time I would still recommend this hotel. A) The prices are very reasonable compared to the larger hotels on the same street. B) They could have refunded my money and told me to go find my own accommodations but they took care of my reservation elsewhere so I essentially received a FREE vacation c) Although the property is small, it's well maintained and cozy like a little apartment (I know this from a previous stay which is why I returned a second time. Because of the way the coconut Cove team handled this mishap I will definitely be booking with them in the future. Superb job and thank you guys so much for being so gracious. Shawn B.

The location was good and the staff and beach area were nice. There was no parking it was valet only, which was not advertised. It is an older building too. Not worth the price.

Parking is valet only, which they don't mention on their website, and is not included in the room price. The thermostats in the hotel are set to 74 but the AC is so bad it can't get below 76 in the spring. They only had one person handling front desk and phones so you had to wait to check in. The room was old and musty. The balcony had barely enough room for two plastic chairs and aimed directly at the construction going on next to the building. The door frame for the balcony is warped meaning it doesn't seal properly. This lets in humidity and noise. According to the hotel, room service is provided by IHOP. According to IHOP, you can only place a to go order, they don't deliver. Overall the hotel is poorly run, poorly managed, and poorly maintained. They put the word "quality" before everything but I do not think they know what that word means.

Great place. Price was great. Clean, close to alot of attractions. Sister property across the street that has a beach that u can use (save u $$) with a great tiki bar.

The first night we stayed in a suite across the road from main building Wifey and I had some type of insect bites on our lower legs. The areas were painful and itchy. Wifey got cellulitis, infection around the insect bites. After 4 days the redness went down. My insect bite took 3 days not to itch. I informed the front desk. I thought it might have been bed bugs. I was convinced by staff the the type of bites were NOT bedbugs. We changed rooms and got a 5th floor ocean view that was great! Neither room was close to being an ADA accessible room. Not even elevated toilets. Convenient location, with nice breezes for the upper floors. Good restaurants and beach nearby are handy. I highly recommend the upper floors, 2 elevators and really good ocean views. But, definitely non accessible.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in Oct 2014 and found the experience to be very good. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping very good. Rooms themselves are a little dated but that gives it the 2 star rating. Close to the beach, good restaurants, and other services.

I tried calling this Hotel everyday for a week to get a hold of someone to see if they recieved my reservation, I booked it online but I didn't think It saved the booking properly so I wanted to call to make sure they recieved it. After calling everyday for a week I finally got someone when I tried again, As soon as he picked up the phone he said "can you hold on" and I did, I waited for him for 12mins! to get back to me but never did! So I went back on the site I originally booked and figured out how to see if it was booked and I deleted it! When I deleted the booking I wanted to try calling the hotel again to see if they got the message that it was deleted. I called back and a girl picked up and said "Hello" then when I said "hello? " she said thank you for calling, can I help you? (What horrible telephone manner! Very unprofessional! ) I complained to the girl how I couldn't reach any one and was on hold for so long last time that I wanted to cancel my booking and to see if she got the cancellation. Instead of showing me sympathy and apologizing for the inconvienence she said "YUP got your cancellation" I was not even rude to her at all I sounded a little annoyed over the phone but I had a right to be! I do not think I would reccommend anyone to go to this place, I haven't even been there yet but the way their office or staff is trained doesn't make me want to even give them a try.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Incredible location directly across the street from the beach and a great value for the money. The rooms are nothing fancy and a little outdated but they are large and extremely clean. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and courteous. My wife and I have stayed there twice and will choose this hotel the next time we go back.

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for our most recent summer vacation. We had never been to Clearwater Beach, so we were very excited. I did some research before booking a hotel and I have got to say that I think Clearwater Beach Hotel is the best value hotel in Clearwater. Great Price for a Good Hotel. Very Clean, friendly staff, clean pool, great sunset view from the room (which made the room kinda romantic, ;-), and best of all, its only footsteps from the beach. Me and my family loved it. Definately going to stay here again. Didn't rate it 5 stars, since my only complaint is that during the night you can hear the street noise a little bit too much inside the room. Couple of car horns woke me up during my sleep. For the price, this hotel is great.

It was a good hotel very close to the beach and everything. Before booking the room for the weekend I called for any discounts they may have. I was told that for staying for more than one night or having AAA I would be able to get a discount. When checking out the clerk told me that it had to be for three or more nights to get any discount rate, which is different from what I was told. That was the only issue I had with this hotel.
