Always an enjoyable stay when we stay here. Beautiful sunsets. Beach is never busy. Rooms are always clean. Ladies in the office take always amazing care of us.

Best place on the beach! Only place I'll stay in that area!

Beach, small but quaint. Room was clean just very outdated… parking was a little difficult especially when people can't park between lines… lots of places to visit, close to everything, will go back…

My now-fiancé just proposed to me on the beautiful private beach of the hotel. We enjoyed our room which had a double bed and living room area with a couch and kitchen which was very helpful for our stay. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful! I had a view of the ocean from my queen efficiency. My dog also made some new friends. Everyone was very nice and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Sunburst Inn. We stayed in a cozy room right on the Beach and we were right next to our favorite bar Mahuffer’s. The staff was friendly and you can even bring your dog. They have beach furniture and a nice grill, Wi-Fi, TV, microwave, and a large fridge. We will return! 5 stars!

Our room was very small. It was supposed to sleep 4 adults but the fold out sofa took up most of the floor space leaving very little room to move around. And if it was to sleep 4 adults, why were there only 2 towels in the room? I would never stay there again. Dirty, small rooms, never had the common areas cleaned or washed down. The pics on line are not truthful.

If you love — the ocean, quiet, clean, white sand beaches and feeling like at home — this place is for you. Location is fantastic. Close to all shops, bars and restaurants. St Petersburg and Clearwater is 25 min away. We spent here a wonderful family vacation!

Awesome place, quiet, nice clean, and nicely decorated rooms, the staff is amazing very friendly and make you feel like your at home! The assistant manager Laura and I even watched a sea turtle lay hers eggs, cover them and head back into the ocean! Awesome experience! Will go back soon!

We live in the Orlando area and this is our absolute favorite place to stay when we go to the beach. The staff here is beyond awesome! They make you feel like family. Bring your furry friend as well. The rooms are clean and you are literally steps away from an uncrowded most beautiful beach. Beach towels, chairs, toys are all provided. You can also bbq on the gas grill. Just bring yourself and relax.

Friendly and helpful staff. Casual atmosphere, beautiful beach. Plenty of beach chairs for guests to use. Everything you need for a beach getaway. If you're looking for room service, a pool or a swanky bar then stay somewhere else! (There is a very interesting bar across the street). If you want a quiet, friendly place to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach, The Sunburst Inn is a great choice!

Very quaint mom & pop place **on the beach**
Rooms are very adequate. Staff is very accommodating. It was exactly what we needed! Laid back & comfy :) The only issue, is parking. It’s tight & can be short a spot when full.

We stayed at the Sun Burst from August 20-24, 2018. This was our first time in Florida and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the beach and by how cute and comfortable our room was. We hope to be back soon :)

Was there this weekend with 3 teens and a 7 yr old wonderful family place right on the beach. No fighting crowds for a spot on the beach. Office staff wonderful. Clean rooms. Will be the only place I stay. 6 stars.

This place is awesome sam and the girls that work there are awesome they take very good care of the place and your needs its right on the beach the perfect place to be.

Nice atmosphere, nice vibe, family feeling during high visitor season. Would do it again, check-in can be a little confusing if you come too late like after 3pm but it worked out.

The beach was literally out the back door. I thought the place was cute, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly.

My husband and I stayed in room 21 last night. The set up of the room is perfect, very friendly staff, one of the tv's didn't work, I made a call and maintenance came right away, unfortunately he couldn't fix it and I like to fall asleep to tv. Loved everything else about it, it would have been nice to get some kind of compensation for that though. Would stay again.

This quaint little Inn is a special find. My cousin introduced my husband and I, to your Inn, this week. And we booked for next year. I can not wait to come back and see Bob the Blue Heron!

The Sunburst Inn is a nice little hotel with the rooms set up like studio apartments. The staff is attentive without constantly looming over your shoulder. You can't get any closer to the beach. I would highly recommend the Sunburst to anybody that wants a clean & comfortable place to stay without giving your first born child in order to afford it.

This is an excellent hotel for reasonable pricing. It isn't the Hilton, but the rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the beach is quite literally right outside the door. Lots of dining options up and down the street and a casual beach bar directly across. Perfect place for couples who want some quiet time together.

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for… a relaxing, clean, comfortable place to stay right on the beach! Jessie, the manager, was super friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond for us. There is a hip coffee shop located a very short walk from the Inn, and plenty of places to eat a short drive away. We will definitely return!

A beautiful beach, clean room and located exactly where you'd want to be. I wish we could have spent even more time here.

Appreciate this place, improved since last visit. Would prefer high tops on upstairs deck so we can see the view. If you're needy & high maintenance, you may be disappointed. Great private beach area, never crowded.

Nothing like opening your back door to the beautiful scenic view of the beach and sunset. The kids and I had a great time and we definitely plan to come back soon.

We've been coming here for years. Its like coming home. If you remember old Florida then this is the place for you. There are no frills but we love it. We have beautiful views of the gulf and our beautiful sunsets. My mind can shut down and relax here. Great place.

The Sunburst Inn is my favorite place to go on the west coast! It's quite, cozy, relaxing! The staff is amazing, especially Amy Cooley! She is professional, friendly and works so hard to ensure your stay is everything and more! Will always recommend this place to stay!

Staff there were amazing. Super nice people. Rooms are kept clean and there's just a few things here and there that could be in better condition around the apartment itself, but other than that absolutely everything is wonderful. Even has a really nice view of the beach in some rooms.

It's convenient and right on the beach. The room was tiny but clean and comfortable.

Day before arrival, got a call that our deck outside our room was being renovated, but not to worry, would only be for a day to a day and a half. But the grill was working! "No" on both counts. Deck work never completed, grill knobs turned complete circles without igniting the grill, and office staff had me wait on towel exchange — seriously — so that she could listen to voicemail messages. Evidently, the "pause" button for voicemails didn't work, either. One day, when trying to exchange towels (yep, you take towels to office to exchange them), no staff members were present. After waiting a couple minutes back in room, returned to find no staff… still. Exchanged towels on my own. Suffice it to say, wife's birthday weekend will be spent elsewhere in the future.

I went for a wedding nice place service was very GOOD… rooms are nice… and LOVE looking out to the beautiful beach.

Very affordable place to stay right on the beach. There is no pool here, but if that doesn't bother you this place is perfect. Staff is nice and the rooms have a comfy home style. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Had a few issues in our room the first night, but they made it right with an upgrade. Great location. Fair price.

This place is a dream! Small, quiet, cozy, and on one of the most amazing beaches on the gulf. My mom came to visit me (I live in St. Pete), and we had an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for one week in March 2014.1. ) The room was nicely decorated but dirty. 2. ) When fixing something on the stove I received a shock from the lid of the pan I was using. When I told the manager about this, her first response was not to apologize but to tell me that that was something for the electrician. 3. ) When a water spout was spotted 30 miles off shore and headed to land, the manager and her assistant were hectically removing the umbrellas from the table outside out second floor room, I asked what we needed to do. From her reaction I do not know if she knew. She told me "I guess you could shut your tornado shades". I then asked what needed to be done, she told me she would tell me if thing got worse. As someone with MS and walk with a cane sitting on the second floor of a building with a water spout aka tornado coming this did not give me much confidence. In Nebraska we are headed to the basement at times like this. 4. ) It is sad such a cute little place but due to the lack of hospitality and cleanliness we will not be back.

This is our first time here and we have fallen in love with this place! The people are very nice and helpful, the whole place is extremely clean and neat, and the service is wonderful. The price I booked the room for was awesome! We want to bring our daughter, her husband and their kids here. SOON! I can see us returning to this hotel for years to come. Thank you to the hotel staff for making my first vacation in several years wonderful and peaceful.

Loved this little inn by the Gulf. What a cozy and nice place to stay — — the rooms are done up adorably in cottage fashion, and you walk out to refreshing breezes and wide-open water views. Everyone with us had a blast — — from the adults down to the small children. Did not bring our dog with us this trip, but this great place is pet friendly as well! We will be back for sure.

I read some of the negative reviews for this place but decided to stay there over the 2011 Labor Day weekend and was glad I did. Stayed Sat and Sun nights and it was awesome. The original owners have just taken back over for the previous, which were the cause of the bad reviews. I can attest that this Motel is great. The owners were very nice and attentive to my minimal needs. Awsome beachfront location, very easy to get there and greaty interaction with the owners. I am definetly staying again asap! What a relaxing palce and great location.
