THE BEST VILLAS EVER! Seriously a hidden gem that is amazing! The owner is the most sweetest person we've ever met! She went above and beyond for us to make sure we had the greatest stay ever! Had the best recommendations of where to go to eat and things to go see and do! The property is super cute and we loved every second of our trip and can't wait to come back and stay here again! The views were absolutely breathtaking as well! 😊 — looking for recommendations.

Katrena is the absolute BEST. She went completely above and beyond for myself and my family. She is kind, efficient, attentive, and her condos are right on the beach. We love Sand Glo! Have been going for 5yrs now. Great little cottage place with great owner/staff that are more like friends or family. Not to mention the views! There is just something magical about the beach at Sand Glo. ☺️

This is more like the real Florida… not a mega hotel. Small in intimate; make great friends all over. Great staff and they do almost anything to make you feel at home and that they really care. Cookies, and donuts etc… and Sunday breakfast and anything else they can think of… Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was our 3rd stay here… we absolutely love it here, never gets old! The staff treats us like family, they think of everything and Kat always goes the extra mile. It’s the perfect beach vacation spot. Villas directly on the most beautiful beach, not crowded. Can’t wait to plan our next trip! Thank you, Sand Glo!

What a wonderful vacation spot for a family looking to get away. We rented all four gulf front villas and took the whole crew! Kat and Teresa are the best! We enjoyed the perfect beach only feet from our back door and dining at Salt Rock just across the street. We also brought our puppies, there is a park just across the street which made it easy for our pets to take care of their business. So convenient for those early morning walks! John's Pass is just up the road in Madeira Beach with fun shops and restaurants for a quick bite to eat. I got a lovely hat at one of the shops! Thank you, Kat for the complementary and yummy brunch on Sunday! The sausage casserole was to die for! One more thing, the fresh baked cookies left in the courtyard were a nice touch and delicious! We will be back, soon!

The location was perfect! The private beach away from the crowds was so relaxing. Kat was a wonderful host and we loved how she provided the beach toys for the kids as well as beach towels and chairs. The room was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Everyone we met had stayed there multiple times and we Can’t wait to go back too!

Best value on the beach. Fabulous hospitality in comfy, quaint setting. Nice, clean units. Treated like family. Avoid the big, busy, impersonal touristy places and stay at Sand Glo!

These are in a great location. Kat is so nice and accommodating. Love the awesome baked goods you get and some of the goodies awaiting on the weekends. Indian Shores is beautiful. Rooms are nice not fancy. It’s not a Hyatt or Ritz. But the beach is perfect! I’d recommend staying here.

Quaint, oceanfront — ideal if you are not concerned with luxury. The owners are fabulous… they brought guests homemade cookies, served sangria on the beach… they made certain there was plenty of firewood for the firepit… they are the most attentive owners I have had the pleasure of meeting. The location is superb and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded!

If you are looking for that home away from home get away, then this is your place. The people here are nice friendly and very accommodating. They treat you more like family than a guest. The atmosphere will definitely have me coming back for years to come. If you are not sure where to go on vacation this is your place. The rooms are very spacious and equipt with everything you can possibly need.! Thank you Katrina for the most relaxing weekend you truly add that special touch.

Kat, the owner is such a warm and kind soul. I stayed there last year with my daughter and sister… We had an amazing time… Everything was perfect… The rooms are clean and the service is impeccable… Memories for a lifetime…

The Sand Glo is the “Kat’s Meow”! It felt like a home away from home. There’s nothing like waking up to Folger’s in my cup and sand between my toes. This was my first trip there but certainly not my last! I love the smaller, more intimate places to stay… very cozy! Hat’s off to Kat and Theresa for hanging on to us for a few extra days!

Great place to stay. We visit this area at least twice a year, would say that sand glo is one of the best so far. Close to a few of our favorite spots. Like the Frog Pond for breakfast and not a far drive from Johns Pass for shopping. Very easy and nice beach access with plenty of chairs.

Feel right at home. The other guests are so welcoming, you would think they were long time friends.

Beach is beautiful! Best thing about it is how private it always felt, it didn't feel commercial at all. Water was clean, warm with gentle waves, perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and Kayaking. My whole family found it perfect! ❤️We can't wait to come back!

Truly breathtaking place, the owner can't do enough to help, there is kayaks and paddle boards available to explore the coastline. Plenty of wildlife in the sea. Will definitely be going back!

Perfect beach access. Firepit, bbq, boogie boards, kayaks for guests with no extra cost, rocking benches, beach chairs, loads of towels. Owner is very friendly and helpful. This is a cute Lil gem.

About a month ago it was my boss's birthday and her husband wanted something special and romantic done for her. Since they were staying the weekend at Sand Glo Villas I called the owner, Kat and she helped arrange a beautiful picnic basket on the beach with blankets, candles, wine, cheeses birthday cake etc, The weather wouldn't cooperated but Kat hung in there and waited by the minute for the rain to stop and a glimmer of sun to shine so she could set everything up… Even though I know Kat was completely inconvenienced by the last minute set up and weather… She was such a pleasure to work with and the set up was Gorgeous. My boss said this was the best birthday she has ever had. The room was so amazing and comfortable and the view was TO DIE FOR! Kat was just awesome! My boss was so impressed by everything that weekend she booked ME a weekend there for my birthday! It was the most relaxing weekend I have had in years. My husband and I will be regulars! I absolutely loved waking up, walking out the door and having my toes touch the sand. They had a paddle board on site… I would have probably never tried to paddle boarded but I tried it and LOVED it. Thank you Kat and Teresa for such a special, relaxing weekend. I look forward to making his my home away from home! 10 stars!

Some of the condos are falling apart. They need major remodeling. The only nice thing is that they are located right on the beach.

Don't have much to say other than "Sand Glo Villas is excellent". Owner Kat puts a lot of effort into this place, which is why it's also a favorite among locals. And it's right across the street from famed Salt Rock Grill, so you can walk there in one minute.

It was so welcoming, the rooms felt like I was at home immediately, the lounging area facing the beach has very comfortable chairs and a swing! Sunday breakfast was amazing with a lot of interesting people to chat with. Kat, the owner, is a fabulous person. You can tell she really puts her heart and soul into this adorable place and made sure we felt welcome! Very interesting person and a lot of fun to talk to! It was a rejuvenating and wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel over the larger impersonal commercial hotels that are so cookie cutter and cold. Love supporting the local business and community and staying at such a unique place run by a local person!

Absolutley Magical! My wife and were visting friends close by and decided to get a room on the beach for the night. We got the number off a small sign next to an unassuming set of cottages surrounded by million dollar condos and we knew it was going to be expensive. Boy was I wrong! We were able to stay at one of the smaller villas that wasn't right on the water but with a view for $100. When it came time to check out 2 days later I dreaded it but I had met the owner (Kat) during Sunday breakfast (unbelievable and complimentary) and told her we were locals and lived in Tampa. I didn't want to know how much the 2 bedroom villas right on the beach cost but I shyly asked for a weeks rate. To make a long story short we stayed in that villa for the next 2 weeks while commuting to work. Layers of stress pealed off during that period of time and strengthen the bond between my wife and I. We just got back from our second stay and can't wait to go again. Don't pass the opportunity to visit the Sand Glo, have dinner at the Salt Rock Grill across the street because life is to short and you have to stop and smell the roses. Funny thing on this last visit is one of the couples we met the first time was also there and they are from Canada. Kat (the owner) is a phenominal person with a heart of gold and I'm thankful to her and her staff for all they did and continue to do.

My girlfriend and I had our first vacation traveling from Ohio together, and it was absolutely amazing to say the least. The room was beautiful and the owner Katrina made us feel right at home. The search for an affordable nice place to stay in clearwater has finally come to an end. We will NO DOUBT, be back very soon.

Watched the sun set from the upper deck of our beautiful 2 bed beach "home"and had our toes in the sand within 60 seconds of everyone else leaving. The owner Kat treated us like family. We came for the weekend and stayed for 2 weeks thanks to "Kat" making it affordable. May sound like I'm exaggerating but as the layers of stress peeled off mt soul was restored. Magical place if you can slow down to feel it. Thanks Kat! Mike and Christine on the other side of the bridge.
