Absolutely the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at! The service is impeccable starting with the best champagne upon your arrival and our room was over the top luxurious. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the bathroom was fantastic! This hotel provides you with everything! All the amenities you would ever need! Definitely will stay here again!

Very nicely appointed and top notch service. This hotel is right off the square and within walking distance to everything. The room was elegant and very large with nice furnishings. The desk staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help with all details to make our stay comfortable… including steaming my formal dress for an event. This is a must have experience st least one time… once you stay here you will be spoiled.

Me and my wife Fuimas to this hotel to get together and take in the restaurant on one side. The employees treated us very well, even gave us recommendations for where to eat dinner. The rooms where our friends stayed were very bella.

I've travelled all over. This by far was one of the most relaxing, comfortable and restful place to enjoy this amazing town in wine country. Already looking forward ot my trip back.

Les Mars is exceptional in every way. Accommodations, staff and food — — all top notch. We had a memorable and lovely honeymoon here. Definitely would stay at this beautiful hotel again (and again)!

Cozy, old school European vibe with all the modern amenities one expects. Their staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful with recommendations and reservations for restaurants and various activities. Super easy walk to local spots and main plaza. Loved Chalkboard downstairs for cocktails and Shed across the street for coffee and meals.

Absolutely amazing! Rooms are some of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in and I am used to staying at high end hotels. Staff was very accommodating and made me feel like home away from home. The town is really nice so it was a score for my 10 year anniversary trip. Bring your sig other here and you will have lifelong memories!

Love this place. We have stayed here twice now. The rooms are really nice and the service is great. All the staff is so friendly and accommodating.

Hands down lovely. We went on a whim for Mother's day and I am so thankful. The hotel is small (maybe 15 rooms), on the main square in Healdsburg, and rooms are welcoming, clean and big. Service was great and the fee included a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Only small dislike was the skim milk provided with coffee early in the morning before any cafe in town opened. We also enjoyed the 5pm wine and cheese tasting in the library. It is offered to all the guests. This hotel reminded me of our place in Paris last year and I can't wait to come back again.

Expensive? Yes! Worth it? Absolutely.

I travel quite a bit and stay in hotels ranging from the Embassy Suites to The Ritz Carlton. The Hotel Les Mars is NO Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. In summary, it is exceptionally overpriced for what it is and the people who work there do not make any attempt to personally cater to you or even get to know your name. My rating is "harsh" and is based on the room rate of about $1000 per night (with Taxes, etc). If this room had been $200-$300, it would have received ratings of Very Good to Excellent On this trip, we visited the Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay and the Hotel Les Mars. When we arrived at the Ritz Carlton, the valet promptly met us took our car and luggage. By the time I reached the front door, the doorman already greeted me "Welcome Mr. Liss". Walking toward the front desk, one more person met me by name and when I got to the front desk, they once again greeted me "Checking in Mr. Liss? ". The Hotel Les Mars on the other hand was DOUBLE the price of the Ritz. The Hotel Les Mars has 13 rooms (or so). No valet. No doorman. You walk in and there is either no one in the lobby or a single person in the lobby. They ask you your name. They look you up on the computer. Seriously. They have 13 guests. That's it. They print some stuff on the computer (the Ritz had the room key and package ready before I got there). During our 2 day stay there, we interacted with the front desk and other staff a dozen times. Each time, they greeted us with "what room number are you in"?

Pretentious. But being on a side street off the square just doesn't justify the act here.
