Affordable price, the room was clean and smell good. In this same town in another hotels they were asking for doble the amount of money that this one.

Shameful. Price gouging fire victims is wrong. I will never stay at another Econolodge. If this is the way they treat their guests, they can keep it.

Terrible business practices! Raising room fee on people and not telling! Raising rates because people are being evacuated due to Carr fire and charging these poor people even more! Haven’t they already lost enough?!? I will never stay at another Econo Lodge EVER!

I would like to express my extreme disappointment with They are taking advantage of those have been evacuated and displaced by the My best friend and her family have been staying at the Econo Lodge in Williams for the past 3 days. The rate they were given when she checked in was $89/ night for a room with 2 double beds. She has dogs and they charge a non-refundable $20 per pet, per night deposit. So she has been paying (or so she thought) $149 per night. She checked her bank account and found that she is now being charged $129 per night for the room in addition to the $60 in non-refundable pet deposit. They never informed her, so she went to talk to the person at the front office. She was told they raised the rates because there is such a high demand for rooms right now with all of the people being evacuated. This HAS TO BE illegal! She told me the TV hasn't been working in her room, and she called once she woke up the first morning. (They didn't check in til about 3 in the morning). Now she's being told she is going to be charged for the TV. WHAT?!?!?!?! They said she should have called as soon as she checked in. Mind you, they didn't try to turn on the TV til when they woke up later that morning. WTF?!?!?!?! Is this really the way they do business?

So sad when a business overcharges fire victims, I will never stay in an Econolodge after hearing about this. And in addition deciding to add another charge for the TV. Shameful! People are quoted one rate and then billed another higher rate on their credit card should dispute it,

If you are charging people being evacuated from the fire more than your base rate and adding more for their animals then you should rethink your customer service. It's horrible of you to take advantage of those affected by the fires. I will never stay at an econolodge of this is how you treat people.

Horrible to not be honest and taking advantage of victims of the fires in the area. I would never recommend such a dishonest place.

Where do I begin! This place is ran by unprofessional people with no common sense to how to run a business! I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes! To be greeted by the General Manager "Ishita Patel" (while wearing a sleeping gown at 1pm) on top of that she was rude when making me a reservation because I couldn't check in until 3pm. I apologize if I had woken you! She clearly put me upstairs out of spite! Because down stairs was all reserved even tho the lot was completely empty that night! The next morning when I tried to check out so I can get a receipt that gave me a 0.00 balance she was no where to be found. I rang the bell and was in lobby for a hour while breakfast went on nothing but there was a picture frame with a paper that said " Thank you for choosing Econolodge drop your keys here! " Written in black Sharpie! Are you kidding me! Talk about LAZY management! The owner should be very happy with your work there or just doesn't care about there business! Either way you should be fired! Unless this is your business otherwise you have no business running a business!

Not people friendly. Not treating people fairly. Changing the room rate after check in is not good business.

Newly renovated rooms to a modern decor. Very good AC. Very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful. Towels and bedding were new and clean.

For an Econolodge which is typically a 2 star hotel it's actually very nice and bordering on 3 star hotel status. California hotels are very expensive so to get a good 3 star hotel I've found it's about $30 more than other Western states.

It was nice at first. But the customer service was aweful she was really rude to us. When we got Into the room it had looked like it wasnt swept or mopped. An there was a roach in the bathtub.

Simple, neat and clean, fairly comfortable beds… Dog friendly and pastry in the morning.

Decent one or two night stop. Granzellas has great food right across the highway. Good place for trucks to park. Small breakfast in lobby, nothing special, ends at 9am. Standard room comes with table and chairs. Pillows are small but comfortable. Everything is clean.

Bock Bock! Great place to stop in and grab a meal or what ever you need for your road trip!

They are ok. Budget hotel. Beds are ok for a night but they suck. They are low and hard with small pillows. Really close to the freeway so if your on the back side good luck trying to sleep. No commercial vehicles in the parking lot. I only had the rig and they wouldn't let me park in there. Dirt lots in front if No one is blocking the entrance to it.

This place was absolutely horrible. $100 the 1st night they put us in a room that smelt just like piss. Then when they moved us they put us in a room with 2 full size bed instead of Queen. And then all night until 4 o'clock in the morning little kids jumped and banged on the floors. I would not recommend this place to anyone this place should be shut down for being so disgusting. And then to top it off when I brought it up to the staff at the counter all they could do was be rude not a friendly place at all.

Was very satisfied with our stay here. The room was very modern and updated. They even accepted our two dogs that are both over 60 pounds for a small fee.

Room cost us a whopping 82.49 including tax and was much better place to sleep than in the car at a rest stop. Hotel appeared clean and even had a pool and a continental breakfast.

Wi-Fi and new floors and clean! Can't get much better for a budget hotel. I would stay again.

Wonderful clean place. Motel 6 was outta smoking rooms but this place was available so ummm, yeah.

Too close to I-5. Loud semi trucks all night long. Could not sleep even with ear plugs.

Rooms were nice… seemed clean. Location right off the freeway. Sadly thousands of mosquitos plague the property. Spent the first hour or more killing about 20-30 mosquitos in the room before I could go to bed.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was, how well it was stocked, even with in room coffee. The price was exceptional. The front desk was courteous and business like. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Williams.

Terrible hotel. They have bed bugs. Very poor quality, rooms not clean pillows are not pillows. No ice machine broke asked if the had ice elsewhere their answer was no. Cont breakfast ducked room dirty and with flies. No one desk for long period of time. I highly suggest do not go there unless you want to bring additional unexpected friends to your home.

Right off freeway, rooms were clean. Had some odor due to them having smoking rooms also. Free breakfast small, but free. Lots of food options close by also. Good for a one night stay.

The location is terrible and you will get to enjoy the sounds of the highway all night on one side or views of parked semis and a refinery. Flies kept me company during my stay but that may not be standard. Breakfast consisted of one piece of bread left or waffles. They showed no interest in restocking either. But considering the price what can you expect. Bed and room was clean.

Comfortable, cozy& quiet. Great bed, amazing pillows. I got good rest.

It's about what you would expect for the price. It's pretty clean but shows wear (ripped shower curtain, carpet wear, ceiling stain in bathroom). The rooms are a little outdated as well minus the nice flat screen tv. Overall, I was not disappoint but my standards were not the highest.

It was a good choice. After you kill the mosquitoes, the room is perfectly acceptable. Quiet and accepts dogs.

-Wow very CLEAN -SMOKE FREE -I travel ALOT so I've had horrible experiences with motels/hotels but I will for sure be staying at this place again. -totally recommend it.

Clean and comfortable. Clean linen, comfortable soft beds, brand new towels in room. My family also enjoyed the complementary breakfast. People working the desk were nice.

Clean room late check out waffles are great.
