My family and I stayed here waiting on our new home to become available. The staff is amazing and willing to help out in any way they can! I absolutely hate the smell of cigarettes which I didn't smell at all but there was a cigarette burn in one of the blankets on my bed. The pillows weren't awful like someone else had mentioned and there also were NOT any homeless doing drugs or hanging out in the hallways; I actually didn't see one homeless person around the hotel at all. I was surprised at how many dogs I could hear just barking non stop in their rooms but the people around me were very quiet and courteous. The landscapes did have a lot of pet waste which isn't the staff's fault and can be blamed on owners that are extremely lazy and have no respect for cleanliness. I would say that I had a lot more positives than negatives and would stay again if I had to. I dont see any negative pictures for all of the 1 star complaining there is about this hotel. I guess the smoke alarms go off frequently in the middle of the night, sometimes multiple times. The alarms going off is definitely the worst part about staying there. The people that live there long term seem to be used to it like it happens all the time.

Clean rooms. They have breakfast. Great location next to all the action. Price was good. The interior is modern. Needs were comfy.

Not a fan of 2star hotels for $200+ a night. Old dated but it was a place to stay. Temecula? Not to sure what the draw is bit ppl seem to like it. I'll stay in San Diego.

With every hotel stay I have there are the good and the bad with the stays. This hotel had a more goods than bad so over all they deserve the 5 star review. If you take into consideration that this hotel is in Temecula and it is in no way a big city, it was very nice for the price. Most hotels do not offer the accommodations that these hotels have. Full size apartment fridge, stove top, micro, sink and plenty of cabinet space made the 2 week stay a lot more comfortable. It is convenient to the freeway and main areas of Temecula. Minutes to San Diego and nearby wineries. The hotel staff was exceptional and friendly. I made a point of getting to know each one personally as they always were so nice and helpful. The manager Hilda was very fair with my rate and always cordial. Dezaree was awesome with ensuring I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The wonderful hellos and kind words of concern as to how my day was from Susan was fantastic and heartwarming. John was always friendly and assisted me several time in getting amenities and local information. The cleaning staff were always cordial and had big smiles to greet you with. The on-site laundry was convenient and affordable. Parking was easy and safe. Beds comfortable. Room was clean. Not much to complain about. So therefore the 5 star review is deserved. Thanks for the great stay.

They should b called the tweeaker towers not extended stay america. When I was in prison the breakfast was better and it was much more sanitary then this place.

Always, helpful and grateful to lend a hand Dezaree from day one has got be settled and made sure I've had anything I may have. She does a great job with customer service!

I didn't have none of these experiences. The moment I walked in it smelled like smoke. When I got to my nasty room, I walked right out and demanded my money. Period! The nastiest place to stay. Yuck! Anyone implying this is a nice, clean place is just as Nasty as this place. Moral of the story! Dont stay at Nasty places. Leave b4 you leave with something!

Had a great experience here. My room was outstanding. Hilda and her staff were so helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding area with things to do, the kitchen was a real plus! Thanks, I will be back.

The Staff was professional, and helpful. It was affordable, great service, rooms have a kitchen. Close to Theaters, Food and Mall.

Great location good prices the extended stay in Temecula is a great place to stay for a short stay or long stay I always am happy with my stay here the staff here is probably the best staff of people of all the motels that I have stayed that includes everyone housekeeping included the manager hilda and rose who works at night always are helpful with my needs.

Clean hotel. Full service kitchen. Nice staff. Quiet and peaceful.

I came down for a softball game and this place is great the staff is verry friendly and helpful they pointed me in the right direction for food and fun for the family. The rooms were clean and we even had our own kitchen. For the price you cant beat it.

Great stay as always. Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants, theaters, Temecula Mall, etc. Love the fact that the rooms have kitchens. Makes the time staying all the more comfortable. I always bring some simple groceries so I can fill up the fridge. Makes a big difference when staying. If you get thirsty or hungry and its right there for you. The hotel has that home away from home feeling. Staff are always friendly. Hilda the manager is the best!

The third floor was filled with homeless and section 8 type lowlifes that cause problems and lower the standard of living and comfort of the hotel. One animal next door to me banged on my wall and started an argument where he threatened to assault and beat me. Of course the staff took his side and called the police on me and forced me to another room, even after he screamed so loud that other tenants on the same floor opened they're doors at the commotion. All three floors smelled like cigarette and cannabis smoke at times especially the2 and 3rd floors. Overall the hotel was satisfactory, for the most part. I think for the price however there should be a better selection of TV channels and the TV itself was quite small. Each room come with a microwave, full size fridge and freezer, and two electric burners, but no oven. Some rooms have bathtubs and carpet, others just showers and floor. Staff is polite, professional, and helpful, thank you Jonathan! And Desiree! Oatmeal, coffee, tea, and granola bars are offered in the morning and there is an on site laundry with a snack kiosk. I would consider renting again.

Traveling throughout the US for both business and pleasure, I have frequented many hotels. There is a lot of variables that go into making a hotel stay pleasurable. More often then not, people in general will complain and gripe about minor things as well as things that are beyond the hotel’s control. Therefor giving them an unfair review value. There are three main factors that I use in determining a hotel’s quality and like-ability. Price • Service • Amenities — Things they can control. Price — This hotel fairs very well to other hotels in the area that don’t even have the same size space nor a really good sized kitchenette. Varies by day and time of year, but is very reasonable. Service — The staff is not only friendly but helpfull. There were several times in which I needed assistance with supplies, keys and service. On every occasion I was met with a friendly smile and a courteous attitude. The hotel manager needed to assist me with a long term rate and was absolutly pleased with her professionalism, friendliness and service level. Not only was she eager to assist me in making my stay more comfortable but also ensured I received a fair rate. The other front desk staff have always greeted me with smiles and great service as well as well as always attended to my needs. The cleaning staff have kept the property clean and made the environment comfortable and have kept my room top notch.

Clean hotel. Close to many shops and fast lanes. Staff very friendly.

The Extended Stay America Temecula was an okay place to stay for our family of 5. Room was clean but it did have a weird smell. I ended up getting a room freshener and that helped. Its a bit light on the supplies — towels, shampoo, ect. The grab and go breakfast is a bit of a joke. Coffee, granola bar, and oatmeal but they didn't restock daily so even that selection was picked over. My husband made the comment that they seem to be operating like they are going out of business. The staff was friendly. We would stay again. Good prices.

The hotel is dirty. We brought our dog and have to take him out to potty and the parking lot is dimly lit and you don't feel safe at all. Their are all kind of weird looking people walking around. The hallways are never vaccumed. Everything in our room was sticky. The carpets we're disgusting and stained, we had to ask for dishes for our room and he gave us 2 bowls and plastic spoons claiming everything else was checked out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The only reason we are giving this place one star is for the staff at the front desk. They were really nice and very respectful. As well as being great about my Emotional Support Dog. Now the hotel, it smells like cigarettes even in the “nonsmoking” rooms. It also smells of marijuana all the time. I know it’s legal in California, but it shouldn’t be in a hotel. Maid service comes once a week. We didn’t have a trash can when we showed up. We asked for one twice in one day and still didn’t get it. Then it become unsanitary due to myself starting my cycle. I know that’s a lot of detail but I had to use a ziploc to dispose of my items cause I didn’t have a trash can. There was no other way to be sanitary about it. Again, sorry for the details but that one got to me. The shower was nice, but it was only hot for 2 minutes and become luke warm. You can tell that people live here too. It’s pretty obvious. We stay in Temecula/Murrieta a lot, but we will never stay here again. Again, I want to say that I really liked the staff at the front desk.

News flash! Go to welfare office and get free room here. Just out if prison? Perfect. Jerry Brown gives you free housing here. Homeless? Get with the right agency and you can live here for free for 6 months. This is not a hotel. Breakfast? Coffee and candy bars. Ik oatmeal bars. That us not breakfast. Maid service once a week. No cooking utensils. None. Refrigerator sound is nasty. Sheets hurt your skin. Difficult to sleep… Sketchy people here. Very substandard. This outfit has a "deal" with the govt And gets our tax money to subsidize the down and out element of society.

Great location staff always available 24 hours A-day They provide provide you with everything that you need. Very clean peaceful hotel, the staff is great.

I would not even give one star if I could. To high priced for what you get. No alarm clock, no coffee maker. The room has not been vacuumed and was very dinghy feeling. We had a compressor tank tied down in the back of our truck and a guy asked if it was bolted down because it would be gone in the morning if not. Also they charged my debit card when I had been set up to pay when we arrived and then gave me a hard time because I wanted it changed. Did not feel safe at this place at all and then a cop showed up and parks for a few hours. Then we find out that the place is used to house homeless people during the week. Never again staying here. We paid $170 for one night and didn't even get a decent breakfast. Over all bad place to stay.

This is definitely the. Lower end. Very nice staff but the price changed online when we got here. Hotel smells like smoke. Marine Corps rooms, 1 towel, near highway and paperthin walls. We didn't want to shower here.

The staff here makes you feel at home. Desirée Tony and Suzy at the front desk give exceptional customer service making sure you have all you need so you'll have a pleasant stay.

Rooms are small. Rooms clean but worn. This place has seen better days. Location is great. Centrally located near mall & wineries. Near downtown Temecula for shops and nightlife. Service… staff is nice.

I highly recommend this Extended Stay America. During the March heat wave we experienced here in Temecula my a/c out and I had a friend visiting from San Francisco, so we decided to get a room until it cooled off. We chose Extended Stay because we trust the name and it is within walking distance from everything except the wineries — which a just a quick drive away. We were not disappointed. The staff was so sympathetic to our situation and very courteous. The room was exactly as we expected — clean, fresh smelling (it didn't have that "Vegas hotel" smell that a lot of hotels tend to have) and the A/C worked perfectly. Though we didn't use the kitchen as much as we thought we would, except for the refrigerator for left-overs and creamer, it was very clean and fully stocked. Even though I am a local and may not be visiting this hotel as often as one might, I have recommended it to friends from Orange County who visit our beautiful wine country and to my Mother and Aunt who will be visiting from out of state. Thank you VERY MUCH to the entire staff of Extended Stay for being so friendly and kind. Also for putting up with all of our questions and giggling. You guys and gals are GREAT!

To me this place feels like I am staying with friends. It's a perfect convenient location for wine tasting, mall shopping and freeway access, and at reasonable prices (which can be hard to find in Temecula! ). Very friendly helpful staff, especially manager Hilda; never too busy to answer a question. Rooms are quiet and clean, with a full kitchen (except no oven) and full-size refrigerator large enough for all the ice cubes you want and a week's worth of fresh food (go to the Farmers Market in Old Town) to cook either by microwave or electric cooktop. Free Wi-Fi works great, on-site laundry very handy, and (best of all) my little dog can stay there with me! Feels less a hotel and more like my friends' guest house.

One of the rudest check in experiences I've ever had. Had to wait 10 minutes, no one even greeted us. Just heard from around the corner be with you in a minute. Rooms were okay if I were you I'd look for a different Hotel.

Smoking hotel. Halls smell of smoke, was stuck with a smoking room as we booked form Orbitz. Has kitchen but no utensils, pans, or plates. Overall not bad for needing a hotel overnight, breakfast to go was coffee, tea bags, gronola bars, muffin and oranges… But wouldn't recommend if your sensitive to smoke smell.

By far the worst housekeeping, front desk associates are inconsiderate of your needs and schedule. Roaches as well more than likely due to poor housekeeping. Don't waste your money.

This one accepts vouchers for battered women. It can be very noisy with their kids running wild late at night! Fights occur occasionally.

I have read the reviews and can honestly say that I have a different opinion. This place is wonderful and in a very good location. The staff members are courteous and pleasant at all times. The rooms are awesome. It's like a home away from home.

Cons: No plates/silverware in the kitchenette. The hotel appears to be used to as temporary housing for parolees (police were dropping off as we were checking out). Pros: Takes pets, friendly staff, and cheap.

I don't know why there was so much negativity on the reviews about this place. It was an absolute GREAT experience. Good, clean room/bathroom, awesome staff (Chris was AWESOME), good free breakfast/coffee, and a convinient location. I highly recommend this place :)

I was welcome by adriana with a smile. She check me inn and made my stay here a memorable one definitely coming back and recommending friends and family.

This place is very clean and great transitional place for my family. They even accommodated me nicely when there was a little mix up. The manager is very nice. A couple of the staff are not so friendly. All and all I would stay here again and recommend it.

I checked in last night around 8:15 p. M. I checked out at 9:00 p. M. This was the worst place I've ever been in… I never want to even look at that place again. It felt like I was staying in a homeless shelter. Wino's hung around outside, dogs in the hotel… the hotel stunk horribly, I didn't even touch the bed other than checking for bed bugs. I left and drove around for a little while, while I decided what I was going to do. I went back to the room and decided no, I can't do this. I check out. They refunded me with no problem. I wouldn't recommend this place to a dead dog. Sorry Extended Stay Temecula Wine Country you have a lot of work to do.

Staff not helpful to out of towners for the most part. Ammenities not as advertised. Advertised price was $278 was charged $287 and was told we had to go on website for possible adjustment and no receipt at check out, again was told I had to go on website for it.

Temecula, Ca. Stuck here for 3 weeks while house is repaired from water damage. Not a nice place, Noisy, smelly. Dog friendly hotel? No place to take them outside, building surrounded by bushes including oleander, have to drive them to grass when they need to go out. Nothing in the room as pictured, have to ask for anything in the kitchen, not always given to you happily, The picture of the "grab and go breakfast", they put 6 of each thing out at a time so it's hit and miss if there's anything there. Moldy smelling drains, maintenance had to pour water down our drains to fight back the smell in the bathroom. Broken, damaged and missing things everywhere. Electrical box in our room, lock is missing so the door just hangs open coming into the room. No vent cover above the stove, nasty and greasy fan. In the lobby the other day, a set of tiles falls off the wall, people see it happen, 2 days later they just leaned it up against the wall. Intrutions, people in the room to check the Wi-Fi, people in the room to check the fire alarms. Rushed outside at 6am for fire alarm, water shut off for a whole day in the hotel because of broken pipes. Then find out the city has a contract to give free rooms to the homeless and take vouchers from social services! That explained the insane lady next door to us, accusing us daily of reporting her for making to much noise, not true, and telling us what a lovely day it is to be outside working in her yard, the hotel actually.

Hate this place. I will never stay at this location again. Very dirty room, housekeeper is very noisy.

Wow, wished I had read this before I stayed. Bed was hard as a board, room is not very quiet and the place has a strange smell. Not even the cheapest around here, but we will not return as it really made our trip less than fun.

We checked in for 2 nights but stayed only 1. Could not stay for another night. Very uncomfortable. Beds squeaks. Bathroom looks scary. Free Wi-Fi sucks but want you to pay for better Wi-Fi.

The rooms are really small. The "breakfast" is granola bars and coffee. Probably the most uncomfortable I've been in a hotel.

Three words: slowest internet ever I like extended stay for the price and the kitchen etc. However this particular hotel of all the ones I've visited has the slowest internet. Slower than dialup and I had excellent Wi-Fi signal. I also noticed targeted ads point to south carolina so I think they port through a server there. Not a good idea if the hotel is in californina. I'd stay here again if they got a new service provider but I think next time I will find another hotel that uses a loacl inter service provider. It's not so bad on the east coast but out here it takes over a minute for a page to load, thumbs down for the buisness traveler.
