I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February for work.
I stayed on the 4th floor and the kitchen and refrigerator were large enough and the room was functional. Friendly front desk staff.
Late at night on the fourth night, the fire alarm sounded for a long time and we prepared to evacuate. The alarm stopped after a long time, but we were not informed that there was no problem after that, so we did not know if we should release the evacuation.
On the day of check-out, the elevator was completely stopped due to a malfunction; there was no sign on the door of the elevator on the 4th floor, and you had to go to the reception on the 1st floor to confirm that the elevator was out of order.
Since there is only one elevator, it was very hard for me with a broken knee to go down from the 4th floor to the 1st floor with heavy luggage.
On the third night, an unknown guest kicked the door of my room several times, which gave me a sense of fear.
Overall, I felt uneasy about the management and security of the hotel.

We had to find a place close to Stanford Hospital for an early morning appt. We chose this hotel because we liked the idea of a suite And free breakfast. Everything was just perfect. Friendly staff and clean establishment! Rooms were quiet and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable.

Pros:
-Our room had a full kitchen.
-Close to Stanford.
-On-site laundry.
-Pool room (if you're into that)
Cons:
-Poor Lighting: Rooms are very dark even with the curtain open. We actually went to the local Target and bought some lamps. That's how severe it was.
— Hard to get towels: They often question why you want extra even though they only provide a few per room. We had to explain that there is more than one person in our reservation, we can't survive off a couple towels for our entire multi day stay.
— Service is slow: If you need something they forgot to put in your room such as Kleenex or towels … Expect to have to call the front desk many times because they don't show up.

Excellent stay in Palo Alto, just a short drive to downtown Palo Alto and Stanford. Rooms are spacious and having breakfast and free parking are great! Breakfast is excellent, wide selection. Great for families (except that they only have a king bed and a queen sofa bed in the studio suite… which is fine for us)

My stay was October 27 for two nights.
Very Clean large rooms and very comfortable beds. Nicely laid out and furnished. Excellent location. Adequate breakfast with excellent coffee.
Friendly check in. I was acknowledged as a Diamond member. The only negatives were that the room was not made up the second day of the stay although I requested it. I hope that the Hilton policy changes from opting in for a room clean the second day to opting out if you don't want it.
Also the hair dryer is too low even at the hottest setting. I have very thin short hair that normally dries in a few minutes but the hairdryer seemed to take forever to dry my hair.
The lobby and hotel in general are kept very clean and felt welcoming.
I would definitely return.

I very much like this hotel. It was very nice very similar to Aloft hotel which I love the location iskk8 good it's right downtown by all the shops and the staff is really good and the breakfast is probably one of the best breakfast I've had from all the hotels.

Very good service, clean and modern looking. It was very quiet and comfortable. Great for extended stays.

Fantastic so far. There's a kitchenette inside the rooms that comes with plates, cups and utensils plus a stove top and microwave. Every morning they serve a lovely breakfast with ready made food.

Great place to stay! The complementary breakfast has great selection and I'm not sure if its California oranges but the OJ was amazing. They also had free drinks every evening! Can't beat the value.

Great hotel, rooms are gigantic with full kitchen. Breakfast was ok just very crowded with limited seating this was unexpected considering it was a Monday. Overall a great experience. Even has free EV car charging.

Everything super! From the location / the lobby / the employees / guests' room / the free breakfast / weeknights' free dinner / coffee area — ALL! Coin-operated self-laundry also very clean & spacious. Didn't find anything undesirable…

Best Hotel ever! Great GM great staff. Very comfortable rooms great breakfast and dinner… so if you are staying in the Palo Alto area this is the place to be…

I enjoyed this hotel. I checked in and got my room very quickly, the had a wide selection of breakfast Good, and coffee and tea available 24/7 For early mornings/late nights. The one thing I would change is the shower. It never really got that hot and the water pressure was kind of low. Otherwise it was great!

Great hotel, I try to alway stay here when I’m in Palo Alto. The rooms spacious and always clean. Breakfast and dinner are good as well, plus you’re within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants.

Not the most obvious location, but I enjoyed my stay. Really nice lobby with beautiful ventless fire place. Rooms have good space, ample drawer space, and tons of channels. Very good experience.

I'm Brazilian, it's my first time here in CA but this hotel is incredible. From the attendances to all the services, everything is amazing. Congratulations for all employees because you are the success of this.

Handicap accessible room absolutely awesome. Five stars. Great amenities and morning breakfast is jot, fresh, and delicious. Very spacious and clean. Staff is respectful, clean, caring, concerned, and professional. Will stay at this place again, for sure hands down.

Nice people in fact really nice people but the rooms or freezing and the HVAC didn't work and constantly blew cold air. Was there for two nights for a conference and every night I got home I was exhausted and didn't feel like leaving or changing rooms which yes I should have. For the amount of money and technology in the area surrounding this hotel this place was a joke. I do want to be very clear though the people that were there were extremely nice and went above and beyond.

Terrible do not disturb sign, always falls on on ground when door closing. Got disturbed by house keeping when sleeping. Terrible experience.! Please change your improper design do not disturb sign! If sign is change d, I will change to 5 stars.

Best place to stay. Very friendly staff and nice room. Located at strategic location. Its a prefered stay for me.

Awesome experience. Very courteous front desk. Good variety in breakfast and social evenings. Room are spacious and clean. Overall a wonderful stay and recommended.

New, clean suites. Well furnished kitchenette. They are fairly small and contain only one king size bed. Not all the rooms have a sofa bed.

Fantastic hotel with a free evening meal Monday-Thursday (including beer and wine) and free breakfast every day, both of which are a high standard. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for, and most hotels in this area are expensive anyway to be fair. The staff are helpful and friendly. Hotel has good facilities — laundry room, small outdoor pool, grill area, games/media room. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Great place to stay especially if you're there for a longer trip.

This place is fantastic! Clean, lovely staff and has very nice social evenings. I would hugely recommend this place above others in he area.

All my colleagues recommend this place and I see why. It has free breakfast and a good amount of appetizers at the end of the day. The grills are awesome and next stay I will definitely get some steaks and burgers and enjoy myself all night long.

Nice, modern rooms with large bathtubs. Complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast, plus happy hours Monday — Thursday. The pool is a bit small, but looks nice. Rooms are soaked it quite a bit, so be prepared to walk a bit if you're not near the front. Great looking game room with a pool table and on site laundry are bonuses as well. The suites really make a difference for long stays with a full size fridge and mini kitchen.

Great new property. Breakfast was above average for hotel buffet. All employees were super nice. Media room with pool table was a hit with our kids.

The Front Desk Staff/Manager was extremely rude when I contacted the hotel for a bill copy of a previous stay. Stayed at hotel on business everything was fine during stay however the customer service I received after was unprofessional and rude. The manager was very snippy with me when I asked about my stay being charged to two different credit cards and kept interrupting me, he clearly didn't want to assist me. I will never book this hotel again or book this hotel on behalf of my coworkers because of the unacceptable service I received.

Great hotel and I especially loved the food. Between 7:00 and 10:00 AM they served a breakfast. Between 4:30 and 7:30 there was a dinner (all included in price). For breakfast they offered hot oatmeal, eggs, sausages, potato, omelette, waffles, cereals, different pastries, great selection of fresh fruits and berries. For dinner they offer a soup (their Italian wedding soup is to die for! ), vegetables, green salad, hot dogs etc.

The rooms are great and super clean. I can't comment on the cost because I've only stayed here while on business. I do know they were cheaper than the hotels that are around. Great location. Close to everything. Usually pleasant staff. There's one guy at the desk that always seems to work nights, he's awesome! They parking seems bad but they have an underground garage. They have a pool table!

Location was nice because we had to go to stanford. Parking kinda sucks. Room was nice.

Located on historic El Camino Real in Palo Alto, this Homewood Suites is more in the style of "urban living" than some of the other Homewood Suites that feature detached properties accessible only from outside. However, this location doesn't disappoint — the rooms, even the "urban studio" style I've stayed in that has integrated amenities are bigger than some of my apartments I've stayed in while in college! The staff is friendly and service is to the high standards set by Hilton. Being in Silicon Valley, this location has plenty of USB and normal power outlets for keeping devices charged and ready to go, making this a great place for doing telecommuting. Everything is new and up to date as far as amenities go, and there's even an underground parking garage protected by a gate. For the money, this is definitely one of the better hotels in the area, and satisfies the "bang-for-your-buck" itch. I would definitely stay at this property again when I'm here on business!

The City of Palo Alto destroyed the Palo Alto Bowl, a beloved community institution for decades, for this! A transient hotel?!?! This destructive act in the name of "development" epitomizes the de-evolution of Palo Alto as a *community*. Bowling alleys are places where neighbors gather, laugh, have fun, make new friends, and build community. Transient hotels house individuals with no roots and no plans to make roots or contributions in the community. They, in fact, help destroy communities. They cater to the tech CEOs who need to house their cheap foreign workers who take our jobs while being trained before returning home. I hope the additional tax revenue makes all the PA city counsel members nice and rich. Great job!

The rooms are nice, the food is ok but does tend to repeat. If your light or fan starts going on its own tell the desk, they're all wireless here and yours will need another code.

It's a very new hotel. Awesome is what I would say and the best I have lived in a year. It's a studio style so it includes small kitchen separate living room space, etc. And size is very big. Love it!

Surprisingly spacious and nice rooms, a lot nicer place to stay than the Crowne Plaza Cabana which is opposite.

The best! If you stay for more than 2days, I really recommend here.

New, clean, nice, friendly staff, great location for business travel or Stanford visit… I am so happy this new hotel opened. Great value for business travel and a nice central location for the entire Silicon Valley.

I've never stayed at a Homewood Suites before but if they're all as nice as this Palo Alto location, I'm going to have to make it a habit. Great amenities: my room was perfectly clean, the towels were fluffy and the staff was very friendly.
