Quaint, unique, original secret discovery! Quick walk to an isolated beach. Old hotel with wonderful charm. You can spend hours looking at all the oddities in the lobby and your own room. Great antique store across the street.

I loved this place! Might not be for everybody, but I thought it was a charming quaint hotel. If you like antique stores, this is like staying in one! Actually, there's one literally right across the street! The furniture here is very dated, but in a good way. The hotel is meant to be like a trip back to early mid-century. Yes, it's fairly minimal in amenities, and the old furniture creeks and smells a little funny, but it's not overbearing in anyway. I see a lot of people complaining about this, but I think they're missing the point! It's meant to be that way! Like I mentioned, if you like antiques and the feeling of going back a few years, then this is a great, fun spot to stay in the Santa Barbara area. It's like being in an old Hitchcock movie, which I'm a huge fan of!

Stayed a few days for a job that was close by, they don't speak good English and were harder to communicate with. If u are just looking for a peaceful place to sleep and return to for sleep it was clean and suited our needs.

The room is filthy and near to the highway. At least cheap…

It's a great little spot and the closest accommodation to Santa Barbara under 200 usd. About 10 to 15 usd uber to the Santa Barbara wharf. The accommodation itself is quaint. It just like your great aunts place!

The inn is older interior, it's a peaceful environment, and the lady seems very sweet. I think when the owner upgrades the interior this inn will be hot. Beach across highway, kinda on a hill, and not too far from quite a few exits to do stuff. No breakfast or washer and dryer. Last minute reservations is good though.

Good enough for a few nights stay. Really close by SB only 10 min drive. Owned by a sweet lady. Think of it like a bed and breakfast but only without the breakfast. Feels like your grandmas home. Way cheaper rates than you would get at SB. Worth it.

Good location, rooms somewhat dirty. Hard to understand owner, Wi-Fi terrible and very intermittent!

Newly remodeled and really nice location. Close to Santa Barbara and the beach.

The rooms were clean and there was Wi-Fi. The building was close to a good breakfast placw too.

Quite expensive considering that is next to the highway (continuous car noise). Despite of that, the service and the room are fine and clean. Nice lady.

Nice home-style settings and nice landlord! Our window right faced the ocean and we laid back on the bed just to enjoy the blue ocean view. I was so forgetful left our own key-chain in the room, the landlord lady called me to come back as soon as she found it (two hours after we left) and refused to take our additional courtesy tip $60. You can call it a place of sweet personal service!
