Reviews of My Rosegarden Guest Rooms
Had a wonderful experience with Kathleen! We stayed in the yellow room on the top floor. We had a queen bed and a pull out bed for myself, husband and two year old with private bathroom. It was very comfortable for us. Breakfasts daily were delicious. We had a few egg dishes, a few sweet and savory options over our four days with Kathleen. Coffee was plentiful and Kathleen was above and beyond helpful!
Okay… frustrating experience. For starters the parking is very limited and we had to park miles away and take an uber in to the location. It was my fault that the reservation I made was a day later then when we arrived. The owner said it was not big deal, she could easily accommodate because there was plenty of space… I should have known to go somewhere else at this point because she acted slightly put out, and left a passive aggressive bill under our door with a note saying we were accually scheduled for the following night, but I felt locked in at this point with card miles away and our stuff unpacked. The owner then said we would wake to a hot quiche breakfast and other things. Instead we basically got a continental breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, and tea. I will say it was a cute set up but not even close to what I was expecting. The bed was very comfortable, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything in the houses, the bathroom was drafty, and the shower head is make for someone 5'3" tall. I hate leaving reviews like this but for my valientines getaway with my wife it was a disapointment.

We stayed at My Rose Garden for one night, the 4th of July 2018. The location was good, parking worked out pretty well despite minimal spaces, “Red” room was clean as expected, and we never had any issues with sharing bathrooms with other guests. We did have one concern from the morning of the 5th. That we wanted to bring to the attention to the owner, Kathleen, and potential guests. Kathleen was in a rush to get out to play golf and left my husband and I and a German couple, with a table of breakfast including quiche (that was delicious), hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, and OJ but no bread. She gave the four of us instructions to tell the guests, who would be arriving later for breakfast, what to do if the coffee ran out. We were instructed to tell them if they wanted more coffee they would need to make their own pot back in her kitchen – which seemed odd. There were places set for at least 4 more people so none of us were sure how many additional guests would be eating breakfast – with that said we all we all felt like we had to limit what we ate to make sure there was enough food for additional guests and also felt somewhat obligated to stay to inform the other guests of the situation. Unfortunately, after the 4 of us ate, we highly doubt there was enough food to feed more than 2 additional people. In the future I highly recommend Kathleen hires additional help for mornings when she has personal business and plans.
