Room recently renovated. Good location. We walked to North Beach for dinner most nights which was better than eating in the wharf. Enjoyed our stay. Probably not worth the price, but we always felt self walking around the hotel area and had no huge complaints like others had. Have to rent a mini fridge if you want one, which is pretty crazy for a $300 night hotel. We just used ice machine ice to keep things cold in the sink. Also, very expensive Wi-Fi if you want it in the room. Available in lobby for free.

Response to Response: What a non-reply! My stay should have fallen short of YOUR expectations. What you are saying is that you are okay with your rooms being disgusting and filthy. I hope this review serves as a warning — this hotel considers filthy rooms to be acceptable. Do not stay here. Original Review: Rude, unhelpful and unapologetic front desk staff. Unengaged managers who couldn't care less about issues guests raise. Unclean rooms with broken lights, filthy A/C filters and poorly / improperly made beds. Find somewhere else, Sheraton might have been a good brand years ago — it's not worth your money or time any more.

The lobby is well maintained and the amenities are certainly not from Sheraton 4 stars as it lacks bar fridge service, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired and the carpet on the floor conveys old sense. In addition, the patio with hearth allows entry to any even dodgy subject and the attention from the hotel staff is really minimal. In addition, for a buffet breakfast they require 31 dollars per person.

Check in was great — the gal was super helpful and was able to request a crib last minute for our son. The mattress was a spring mattress and wasn’t comfortable. The pillows were flat and the sheet/duvet combo was really strange. The big duvet just slid off the whole bed cause it was to heavy. The room was fairly clean and taken care of. The customer service was okay. We had to get hot water for my sons bottles everyday for his formula and with most of the workers it was fine. But for a handful of employees it was like pulling teeth — “it’s too hot, you can use the water in your room” or “you can just order a kettle” instead of sure mam let me get you some hot water. A little low on the customer service in my opinion.

The room was nice but not bad noise from the street at night. No bar and few select restaurants in the hotel clean. Lots of options very close to eat/drink.

Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the wharf area. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The only issue is having to walk through a cloud of cigarette and cigar smoke when you enter and leave the hotel. They have a huge and lovely sitting area where they allow smoking making it unusable for non-smokers and obnoxious as you enter and leave. Quite surprising for a California hotel which claims to be non-smoking.

Very nice hotel. Walking distance from Pier 39. We had a great room and an awesome experience. Super friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Only down side is the parking but that's San Francisco for you. At least the staff gave me some advice for cheaper parking across the street at safway.

I would have given it 5 stars but the parking was an absurd $70 night. That's just a ripoff. Go across the street or down the street in its $30 night. The location is excellent. It's directly across the street from fisherman's wharf. Rooms are very nice. I have seen complaints about the bedding but we thought the bed was very comfortable. There is a fair amount of construction/remodel going on but they're doing it nicely and it doesn't interfere. The crew is very nice. Tommy at the front desk was excellent.

The gentleman that checked me in (Tommy) was excellent. Helpful, friendly and very professional. He took care of me quickly and efficiently even though I had some questions. Hotel is good, room was surprisingly small. Two beds in that room was very "cozy" but not in a good way. Grounds to be well kept, clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Great location and comfy beds. I was happy that I was offered the option of a ground floor king vs. A fourth floor with two separate double beds. Cleanliness was decent with the exception of hair (from the previous guests? ) and a suspicious brown thing on the shower curtain. Also the shower head or water pressure didn't provide much water.

Comfortable rooms. Excellent location and its fireplaces totally cozy for guests who want to enjoy outside the rooms.

The staff is friendly. Despite the long checking / checkout line, they remain courteous. Location is good if that's the corner of city you're spending time in. Walking distance to fisherman's wharf, good for tourist and taking ferry to Sausalito. There's a Safeway grocery store next door so convenient. 1 gripe. We had a non smoking room but the bathroom reeks of smoke. We were there for a night and lazy to switch so did not ask to. So check it before you get settled in.

The ONLY reason I give this a 2 star is because of the wonderful staff. The customer service is the ONLY good thing about this place! From the uncomfortable spring mattress to the tiny space. The nightstand couldn't even be opened because it was up against the air conditioner, which was right next to the bed! A motel 6 or super 8 would have had better rooms! Definitely didn't live up to the Sheraton name. We extended our stay 3 more days but changed our hotel to the Holiday inn express and it was like the Ritz Carlton compared to the Sheraton!

I spent one night in this hotel for our anniversary meeting with my husband, the front desk asked us if we celebrated something we told them yes, we had a bottle of champagne in our room and an aperitif basket it was a nice surprise and u n Very good stay. The staff at the reception very friendly. Again thank you.

Staff were friendly and helpful. For the most part the rooms were clean and comfortable (pillows were not the greatest). The lobby did have a perfume odour that was a little bothersome to one of our party. Parking was 56 dollars until 4pm the day we checked out however we felt it was worth it for the convenience of being a short walking to fisherman's wharf. Would consider staying at again.

From other Sharaton I am much better accustomed, the bathroom is tiny, the room is also not really big, no free Wi-Fi in the room, but the location is great, nearby, Pier39, Powell/Mason cable car, Madame Tussauds, Lombard Street for a few days it goes, for longer I would move to Hyatt, Marriott or Holiday Inn.

Good location, very close to Pier 39 and other places of tourist attraction. Expensive parking, noisy and no refrigerator the room.

Very spacious rooms. It is well located and is good attention. The campfires are very nice outside.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. Mom loved the roll-in shower, how easy it was to transfer from her wheelchair to the seat in the shower, and the cushioned seat while she showered. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Full pillows and down comforters made it easy to fall asleep. The was plenty of room for mom to move around in her wheelchair. The only thing we didn't care for was the parking. The parking garage has very low ceilings with exposed pipes and was dark. It is also an additional $56 to park in the garage. They do allow you to remain parked there until 4pm the day you check out. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, with amazing Concierge services. Corinne, In particular, was especially efficient. We were only in town for two days and she recommended the best way for us to see all of the sites we were interested in. In addition, she suggested some amazing restaurants, especially in Chinatown. We were pleasantly surprised to see she had sent a complimentary dessert platter to our room. Our room was comfortable. Almost everything is within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again, and have told my friends about this wonderful hotel.

This place doesn't deserve the Sheraton brand. Very poor room cleaning, cheap shampoo and soap, besides trying to save money on soap bars (2 days in a row with 1 tiny bar for 2 adults), the oldest TV set I've seen in many years. Super small towels. Very noisy (I can hear upstairs guests walking all the time). Bathroom so small that makes us feel in an airplane. Unfriendly staff. When I called front desk to ask for more soap, they hung up on me. Definitely, I'll never return.

Great place to live. No need to rent a car as parking is very expensive. Uber is the best way to get around. Room service was good. Place was nice and clean. Grocery store is at a walking distance.

The rooms are nice and very clean and the staff are very friendly and the location is good, close to pier 39 and a grocery store. But wait why the 2 stars you ask? My main problem with this hotel is that the room or building design is flawed. You can hear people in the room above yours walking and you can tell they're just walking normally but it sounded really loud as if no sound insulation between your ceiling and their floor and the sound is amplified by the room. There was creaking sounds too as they move from one end of the room to the other. I am literally writing this at 12:50am because I can't sleep due to the noise. We ordered 2 connecting rooms and the other room also have this problem. They did offer to relocate but it was really an inconvenience and we're checking out the next day so we just put up with it. My other issue was the size of the bathroom, its TINY. You can barely turn and close the door after hitting the bathtub and toilet bowl. The room was very spacious and I feel they should've given more space for the bathroom.

Bad service, from the reservation we ordered an extra bed for two children and they never delivered it, we waited 4 hours for the room, very slow, they charge the Wi-Fi separately. The pool never worked. I don't recommend it.

It was a very good hotel. They do not know what it means soundproofing. I did two blank nights for the traffic noise that came into the room. They put it all up but it definitely does not live up to a Sheraton.

Room decor was modern and clean. I stayed in a ground floor room facing Mason Street, which was loud at times, and I would have asked for another room if I had the chance. But the hotel location was great for visitors who are planning to do lots of activities within the fisherman's wharf area. Very walkable. Good in room amenities, nice staff.

I have had my fair share of hotel stays, and this hotel is BY FAR best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the valet, to the front desk, kitchen staff and janitorial — every single customer/guest services member was EXCEPTIONAL. They are personable, thoughtful and very professional. The rooms were very well kept and extraordinarily clean. The rooms are spacious, modern and have comfy beds. It is well worth the few extra bucks to stay in such a phenomenal hotel. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

While this place might be up to date on its trendy color themes & outside appeal, I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me. The room smelled so badly like moth balls it will give you a headache. After opening windows & blasting the fan, it wouldn't go away. Bedding, poor and over used, the springs pop and poke. The front desk & guest services answered on the third try. Poor customer service. While this post may seem drastic, I am very realistic, and least of all fussy. I cannot believe the cost vs the lack of any quality.

Conveniently located in Fisherman's Wharf with a 5 minute walk to Pier 39. Customer service was great from front desk, bellman, and cleaning staff. The rooms we got were updated, clean, and modern don't be alarmed by their exterior it's updated! Decent size room for a double queen bed. — Rooms:clean, roomy, no mini fridge — parking with in and out $62 (24 hours). Underground garage parking. If you decide to park in the street read the signs carefully! They have a seating area outside with firepits to hang out.

During my stay, I didn't appreciate how the hotel staff told me and another friend that we weren't allow to keep our beautiful German Sherpard in our hotel. We SIGNED A WAIVER to hotel dog policy. Well, moments later we went to dinner and left our dog in the hotel not for that long. We ended up getting locked out of our hotel from 12 AM MIDNIGHT and waited til 2 am. We aren't happy at all and they didn't warned us about locking our hotel and our dog was scared and barking from the inside of OUR HOTEL. Our other guest next to us can't stand the dog barking and made it worst by telling the front desk, when really we didn't mean any harm to anyone. We already paid 1 week ahead on a Prepaid Reservation for our stay and it's NON-REFUNDABLE and this is the THANKS we get to be the MEMBERS here. We will never come back here again! we get told it's pet friendly and figure it's not. We pay for DOG fees, there shouldn't be a PROBLEM, Parking we paid that too and On TOP of the Hotel Fee IS ALL SEPARATE Fees. Noisy People after 10pm and the staff or security doesn't stop them from being loud verses our DOG doesn't BARK past 10pm or not for more than 10 minutes. What A SHAME this place became. We were told it's DOG FRIENDLY and APPARENTLY it's NOT!

Good location if you want to be by the Piers. Nice rooms. Clean bright and quiet. Handle and tub/shower switch were broken but still usable. Overall, I'd recommend.

The location on the harbour is ideal (Pier 39 and Alcatraz). For the rest it is certainly not a 4 star. No free Wi-Fi! $16 a day. Better still parking at $55 a day. The room was tiny (but pretty) and not in accordance with the photos (no fridge). No mini bar and not even a free bottle of water (at 350 euros at night is a minimum). For Bath products, this is the minimum of the minimum. Medium soundproofing, plan Quies balls. The value for money is bad and the hotel without the slightest charm.

This is a very nice hotel. The location is very convenient as it is located at Fisherman's Wharf. Near all the nice attractions. Hotel amenities include Swimming pool which is a must. The cleaning lady some some fruits we bought and she brought a fridge free of charge without us asking her. It was a nice surprise. We did not even have to ask. Definitely recommend it and will stay in it next time we come back to San Francisco.

The hotel has a great location. I was able to get a good price for the room through hot wire. The room itself was adequate and up to date. Bed was not as comfy as I would like. Also parking there is $50 but just a block down I was able to get $20 overnight. Otherwise very helpful staff and good experience.

I used my Sheraton points to book two nights in April 2016. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to book it using only 24, 000 points, being that the normal rate was about $300/night. The Fisherman's Wharf location is just about as good as it gets. We walked to the wharf restaurants (less than 5 minutes) and Alcatraz cruise dock (10 minutes). The room was fine and what you expect from Sheraton. The staff was very friendly. We did not eat in the hotel. Parking was fantastic, right under the hotel, though you'll shell out $54/night+ tax, which is about what you will pay anywhere near. The view from our 4th floor window was, well, of the rooms across the way and the guy one floor below in his underwear. We kept our shade closed 99.9% of our stay. Overall, you can't go wrong with the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf. It is close to everything and competitively priced (if we would not have used our Sheraton points).
