The ladies at the front desk were awesome. Friendly and accommodating. Few things to know: There is no gym. No bathroom in the main area No dishware in the room you have to request it as needed. No breakfast. The hotel itself is located right next to incredible food and shopping.

We stayed here on a Friday night. The hotel location is great, walkable to restaurants and shopping and close to airport. The check in was very slow. We arrived at 2:30 PM so we were a little early. They had someone physically walk to a room to see if it was clean and then come back and go check another, after going 3 different times, the man came back with a couple choices. It just seemed an inefficient way of conducting business. The rooms come with a small kitchen but if you need any kitchen items you have to check them out at desk. We assumed there would be a coffee pot but there wasn't. The room was quiet, clean, nicely decorated for that type of hotel. The bed was comfortable but the pillows awful. My husband went down at 9:30 AM for coffee, no luck. The hair dryer didn't work so another trip to the desk. We paid $131including the tax on a priceline express deal. It was okay but I will look for other options if I return to Burbank.

This place is good for a relatively cheap trip or if you need cheap accommodations for a long period of time (hence "Extended Stay"). However, the manager was not helpful whatsoever! There was only one lady working the front desk any time I was there, and if she was busy, he would ask people in line if they had been helped. That sounds great… But if you said "no" he responded with "oh, well she will be right with you" and would go sit back down. Well duh! I know she will! If you aren't going to help people don't ask!

Good location, staff is nice and place is clean. The rooms are dated and stocked items scarce.

There's a lot in the rooms themselves. It really is intended for you to stay a long time as there is a full fridge, stove, microwace, and sink like having a kitchen. A first for me for a hotel. It was convenient distance for going to Universal studios and walking distance to a large outlet with a myriad of different types of stores.

This place is extremely basic. The ability to have a kitchen is great, but there are no other amenities. No gym, business area, restaurant, or bar. The bed is fine but the sheets are cheap. The shower head is filled with calcium buildup or something. The hotel is right by the loud trains. The best part is probably the proximity to the mall/plaza.

First of all this is not part of Marriott. It looks like a run down hotel with bare bone operations. They have charged me for $18 for Internet without even my notice. When I called to ask they said I used high speed Internet which I didn't even know. I always used the code which they provided. Very bad customer service. I would never go back to this place again. Good bye.

I would give this place a negative star if I could. Right from the beginning I knew it was going to be a nightmare (literally had nightmares). As soon as we walked into the lobby you could grasp a really awful smell (not even the worst). Then the staff was quite rude when checking in. As soon as we got into the elevator you could tell it hasn’t been cleaned In awhile, however this wasn’t even my main problem… the main problem comes to the room. 1. The smell was horrible I had to wrap one of my old shirts over my nose all night just so I wouldn’t throw up.

Stayed here very recently over a weekend! Location is great if you are on Burbank business visit or visiting universal studios (like me). Rooms are large with kitchen amenities! Guest service is good. The room service is weekly so you mess it up and you clean it up for rest of the days! Overall a good place, reasonably priced! Got a deal with 35% off on their website!

This was my first experience with a long stay hotel.
They work differently than the regular hotels, the rooms have full equipped kitchen, you can request dishes and the different kitchen utensils that are delivered in a plastic box, do not make daily cleaning, only 1 weekly cleaning if Your stay is greater than 7 days.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, not a luxury hotel.
The breakfast included is actually a sort of coffee station and snacks, it depends on the day sometimes there was only coffee and tea.
The elevators make noise and it gives you the feeling that they have not done maintenance to the pulleys.
On several occasions there were guests in the hotel lobby with bad looks, we got to see a man without shoes and pretty sloppy/dirty sitting at the entrance, they should take care of this to avoid giving a bad picture to the rest of the guests.
You get what you pay for, it's a budget hotel where you can save not only on the stay but cooking in your room, not a luxury hotel but at least inside the rooms you are comfortable.

The great thing about this place is all the shops near by. It's located right next to the Empire Center which had a Target, Wal-Mart, Staples, I believe a Lowe's or Home Depot which is great if you forgot something at ho. E like I always do. Also you have a choice a several different restaurants to ear at. So it's a decent hotel h Next yo everything you might need. I usually book a room and then head over yo target to grab food to cook cause nothing beats a home cooked meal. Just plan for it. There's a microwave and two burners, a fridge and sink. No oven though. All in all a great place to stay. Staff isn't too bad either.

Room was very clean. It had a kitchen and the hotel offered all sorts of kitchen amenities for use. Location was extremely convenient for Universal Studios. Only a short drive. Hotel is also pet friendly which is wonderful. Front desk personnel were very nice and professional.

The hotel was perfect for us. We had to evacuate our house due to the fire. We had our 2 cats which this hotel is pet friendly thank God. The room was perfect. Hot coffee downstairs and breakfast bars was a plus. The room was a studio with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and Wi-Fi. We were very pleased with the staff and guests.

If you decide to stay here make sure you HIDE OR LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES! … The hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work so we told the front desk and they said they would have someone bring another hair dryer up to our room. When we returned to our room later that day the new hair dryer was sitting on the counter near my bag of jewelry. The next day I noticed my diamond cross necklace was missing! All my fashion jewelry was left as it isn't worth anything. The cross necklace was $1000. The hotel will not return my calls to discuss this matter. Either don't stay here or don't trust the people that have a key to your room!

I have never stayed at such a bare bones place and I have been all over the US and stayed in some sketchy places. 1 star is for the decent TV. My room was freezing, heat didn't work. The faucet ran, not dripped, ran all night. No ice unless you want to make it in your room. Who has time for that? No ironing board or pants hangers. No dishes even though they give you dish soap and advertised fully equipped kitchenette. No coffee in room. ANY hotel I have been to has coffee in room. I picked it for location, not price. It should have been half the price though for half a hotel. Won't stay at this chain ever again. So disappointing.

If I can give this hotel a 0 star I would, this hotel does not even deserve a 1 star. I found bedbugs on my bed, "bugs" more than 1. The room had a really old smell. There was stains on the mattress. The rug was filthy and had stains. This hotel has no gym, nor a pool. When I spoke to the people at the front desk they were completely rude, and told me "I can either put you in another room, or give you your money back, theres nothing else I can do for you". I have several pictures of the bedbugs and the dirtiness of the room. When I called to complain with corporate that my room had bedbugs, I kept getting hung up on by several representatives. I will never stay in an Extended Stay ever again. First and last time. I feel completely disgusted that I laid in a bed full of bedbugs, and I feel more disgusted with how these people treat you. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! And I will be suing.

My room is small but nice, with a mini-kitchen and a comfortable bed. The free Wi-Fi is nice too.

Staff was friendly. The check in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is close enough to the airport, so getting there via Lyft was not a problem.

Room: -Bed: The bed is a bit flat and the reclining chair is a bit cheapy -Bathroom: The doors are extremely squeaky and there is only one tiny tube of shampoo & 1 body towel… The sink is very outdated. Shower water takes 6 minutes to heat up Service: -Front Desk: We had to wait until the front desk manager came to help us, but he was 8/10 friendly -Cleaning Area: The hotel is behind some Harvey building… not the best area for a hotel There are also some creepy people.

I had a nice room with a kitchenette. The hotel stafg are very friendly and helpful. It is also pet friendly.

Walls were fairly thin. Could hear the room next to us yell at each other at 5 am… Night staff was awesome, but day staff couldn't even figure out how to print a receipt. Housekeeping was also awesome, helped with an item we forgot. Courtyard next door is much better… you get what you pay for…

It is a nice place to consider. The rooms are equipped with kitchenettes. Plus it is located around a great selection of food joints and shopping centers.

Lovely clean room and you get what u paid for. People in reception are so very nice and gentle. They have patience and they respect people.

No room service if your stay is under 7 days. We are there 5 days and the hotel refuse to send someone to make the room. Carpets in the room are disgusting. Smell is terrible. No service. Parking spots are limited. Shower pressure is horrible. Shower head is clogged with calcium built up. For the price you can get way more decent stay from Airbnb. Ans way more close to downtown LA.

Nice place to stay. It is clean and is located in a place with access to free way and various shopping centers.

Wow. What a dump. Absolutly filthy. The first room stunk the ac didnt work and ther counters and furniture was a disgrace. The second room was a little better but counters were not clean. The hallways were littered with garbage and carpets were disgusting. What a disgrace. The only saving grace here was the ladies working the front desk were so polite and professional. I feel sorry that they have to work in such a place.

2 double beds, small kitchenette with hot plates. No plates, silverware, or cups in room. 1 TV Stand and a small table with 2 chairs. 1 small reading chair, and a bathroom.

The breakfast is very basic only cookies and coffee.

This hotel was clean and modern. The only drawbacks were the grab and go breakfast was pitiful and they ran out of coffee everyday. Also there is a Metrolink train that runs every 30-40 minutes beginning around 7:00 am and blows the horn… LOUDLY. This directly behind the hotel. Otherwise, great location to food and shopping and easy access to the freeways and airport.

Nice rooms and contemporary decor. Rooms have kitchenettes and cooking utensils are available from the concierge. Right next door to large shopping center and restaurants. Easy access to the airport.

The room was nice and clean. As far as location, it was great. Closed to a lot of stores and restaurants. The service was great. Angel attended us and she was amazingly friendly.

We recently stayed at the Extended Stay America in Burbank, California. This was our first time staying there and it was the most terrible experience we have ever had with any hotel. Not only is the customer service horrible, the staff including the manager lack basic hospitality etiquette and common sense guest service skills. This place would be a great candidate for Hotel Impossible. The manager and the staff gave us a sub par check-in, the room was not clean, and they gave us only one bar of soap in the bathroom for two days for two people, and the floor was dirty as well. But this was not the biggest problem, the problem was their attitude. We did not feel welcomed at this place. No one ever smiled and I am assuming because they don’t like their jobs. Hotel lacks basic amenities in the room and the “pick up and go” breakfast was a joke. They had old packaged muffins, and there was no coffee. In fact, we had to walk a block away to another hotel’s lobby to buy coffee from their coffee shop. When we went to the front desk to confront this issue, the agent at the front desk was on the phone for over 15 minutes and did not even the courtesy to get back to us and completely ignored us. We finally gave up and left the lobby.

I wish I could give it a negative star. The whole experience was a nightmare. The rooms look nothing like the pictures! In The first room, my children found an old prescription in the couch. We went down and asked for a new room but they didn't have one large enough to accommodate everyone. The night manager was nice enough to give us two rooms, comping one. But in those rooms we found just as much filth. Pulling down the covers in the bed revealed toenail clippings and a leaf. By this time when we went to complain the front desk was closed. I have never been to a hotel where there's no one working the front desk. So we could not check out. Because we prepaid online we were not able to get a refund on site. We had to call the corporate office many times.

A decent place with reasonable prices. Clean, plenty of towels, free Wi-Fi, a small kitchenette in some (or all? ) of the rooms. It's in a large outdoor mall so the location isn't great but it's convenient to almost everything in Burbank. The "breakfast" is a bit of a joke — coffee, a basket of oranges, some kind of small, factory-made pastry, and 1 or 2 other things — but the woman who checked me in, did her best to manage my expectations, pointing out the small display and describing it as "grab and go. " She actually repeated that to make sure I got it. The shopping mall has a small cluster of food shops about 100 yards away — I had a REALLY good turkey burger last night at a place called Grain Lab that had good-sounding salads as well. And Starbucks there was open early this morning for a somewhat better breakfast than the hotel offered.

Based in the price, the hotel is not good at all. It doesn't have daily housekeeping and the breakfast is a joke.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT STAYING HERE! On the first night of our stay we found a cockroach the size of a lemon scutting about. I'm completely disgusted. There's no subtitles on the TV, maybe the remotes don't work. Our room always smells like Indian food, sweat, strange perfume maybe that used of a 120 year old woman and even worse the whole hotel smells like cigarettes! I'm scared that there's bed bugs after seeing the cockroach and I wonder how it got to the fourth floor. The breakfast sucks just a small cabinet with a coffee maker and oatmeal with your option of muffin, nutri-grain bar, classic cafeteria fruit or oatmeal. I feel more like I'm in jail than in a California hotel. They need to either knock the place down or remodel the whole lot. There's a strange abandoned (? ) matress in the parking lot. The staff is creepy. For an L. A. Hotel I'm completely revolted at this dump. Beware do not stay here not worth it at all!

Staff is friendly. Room was clean but the toilets are so loud you can hear them flushing in other rooms near yours throughout the night. Not great for light sleepers like me. But good experience overall.

We stayed here because we were going to universal studios. I looked at other reviews and was afraid our room was going to be awful. The rooms actually look like they were slightly remodeled. They are quiet and pretty comfortable rooms. It's in a good area close to target and restaurants. The staff is really friendly. And I loved that they didn't charge for parking or have other hidden fees. Great stay, great location, and great staff.

Good location, nice room. You get what you pay for. You only get new towels if you bring them to the front desk and exchange them. Housekeeping is only once a week.

Rooms are clean however maintenance does take a while to fix things. One of the two elevators has been broken for a while. Also, hotel is located near train tracks so you will get some early horns and vibrations from the trains.

The room was really clean and very convenient with the kitchen in the room. One problem was the grab and go breakfast, they should have a wider selection of things to eat. But other than that, very nice hotel.

Used priceline to reserve. Checked in late, but there is no check in after 11. Had to wait for staff to let me in. Ground floor room, somewhat noisy due to train. Room dingy. Would give it lower rating, but I was just overnight, and the place is geared to extended guests.

Good place good service… But only thing they don't have anything new in breakfast… Everyday same breakfast…

This place is a nightmare! I had my privacy invaded in an egregious way. I have a weed card and I smoke hash and the housekeeping came in and found it in a drawer and is trying to charge me 250 as if I smoked cigarettes in the room. I'm going to sue this place! I paid for another night and had a do not disturb in the key slot which they removed and entered and looked in my drawers!

Smells like smoke. Very noisy location with trains all night, loud airplane traffic. Not very friendly.

Service is great, location isn't. Train goes by in the middle of the night makes it very noisy and impossible to get a good night's sleep.

This is a place perfect for business trips, the beds are very comfortable and the location of the hotel isn't too far away from downtown or the studios. The downside of this hotel is that the rooms are cleaned once a week if you're staying for more than a week which is understandable add they have very little staff.

Hotel room like any hotel you would expect. The internet is garbage 90 KBPS, we are in California where technology blossoms and yet you have 80s internet speeds what the actual. Anyway way over priced because next to airport thats my 2 cents.

Rooms are bit smaller and there is no automatic setting for air conditioner. Service and break fast is good all other good shops like food and grausery are near by.

Price was high. Service at counter great. Housekeeping can be better. Rooms smell nice however all hallways and elevators smell of cigarettes and skunk. Comfy clean beds.

Luke warm water? really? how cheap can u be? towels are like sand paper. The free breakfast is coffee, (no juice), water for oatmeal, yuck, an oatmeal raisin bar, ick and some no name chocolate muffin. At least buy some Otis spunkmeyer muffins. The trains weren't that loud compared to the 1980's compressor on the fridge. Tv sucks, only about 30 channels and Internet is kinda slow. Someone near my room was smoking and the lobby rats hanging out all night near the clerk was creepy. On the plus side, the location is next to the airport so that explains the high price on a cheap hotel. Take your chances, but one night was enough for me.

This hotel was in a decent area with some shopping and restaurants close by is why I booked it. Right after arrival I could tell that it was a very cheap run hotel especially for the price. They don't even have automated doors to their front lobby which would have been nice given the 3 bags I was carrying. Check-in was ok. The elevator was a little scary, it shook a lot and made a lot of noises. The entire hotel smelled like smoke. Luckily my room didn't smell but it did have a big hole in the carpet, a stain on the chair, water rings on the counter and hair on the bathroom counter. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding was very old and cheap. I can't comment on the grab-n-go breakfast because they don't put them out until 7:00 am and I had to catch an earlier flight. Another thing I found very odd was that they don't have any hotel staff at the front desk (or in the hotel? ) from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. To check out, a sign said to dial "0". I assumed this was from the phone behind the desk so I dialed it and it was just a busy signal. I travel quite a bit for work and this hotel was definitely one of the worst ones I've stayed at. There are several nice hotels in the area. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.

I had a very poor experience at this hotel. The lobby and the room smelled like old curry, the staff was unresponsive to a complaint I filed, and the overall customer service from the management on down was very poor. After my stay, I emailed management about my experience, and they promised to send me a voucher for a free night (see below). After providing my address, the voucher never came. I travel a lot, and this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at, and one of the first times I've ever complained. Avoid Extended Stay Burbank, and you'll probably have a better experience. Did I mention the place smells like curry.
