Clean and decent. Nothing to complain about. Prices are fair and breakfast is available. No protein just starch options.

Located at the end of highway 67and Magnolia Ave. Exit off IN the Super 8 is centrally located in El Cajon. I found the room to be clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was on the first floor and with parking right outside the door. The breakfast is complimentary and though not as well stocked as other's I've had was certainly sufficient to get you going for the day. The staff were friendly and pleasant and it was overall a good experience.

I have stayed here before and the staff remembered me. That feels good. I will stay there again.

They use to be a good hotel. I had been going there for years and one day I reported seeing a bug then they put me and my family on the Do Not Rent To (DNRT) List and that's not fair. Never had any problems before. They started discriminating against me… like it was my fault… so if u ever see anything In any of the rooms? Be very careful about saying anything or you'll get put out and blackballed from the hotel!

The hotel, "well", but the neighborhood is dangerous. I wouldn't go back.

The room was exactly what you'd expext for the price point. The beds were VERY firm though there were plenty of pillows on each bed. Before we aired out the room, it had a bit of a funny chemical smell but it did clear out quickly. Breakfast is your typical motel food (cereal, breads, waffles, juice). I expected it to be a bit noisier but we had no issues upstairs. There was a discrepancy between check-in time from the website (2pm) and the hotel (3pm) but they accommodated us anyway at 2:30 without any fuss. We'll definitely stay again in the area.

The room is updated with hard flooring which is nice, but I have never stayed somewhere with a dirtier mattress. I always check mattresses first no matter where I stay and this one was rough. The sheets were clean looking and the bathroom wasn't bad. It was a nice check in even late at night.

Room is nice and clean. Free breakfast bar is good. Front office staff and owners are why I give it 1 star. They will hold your security deposit if you leave the room even a little bit out of order. The towels are dirty, no deposit back. You accidentally spill some coffee and use a towel to clean it up, no deposit. You get upset over the fact that they won't give you your deposit back over that, guess what, you can no longer rent here. Same owner as Northgate Motel and they were very rude to us. The second we get rude back they threaten to call the cops. It was just a horrible experience. They judge you when you walk in and the quality of their service is dependent on what they think of you. Wasn't a welcoming experience.

Very nice staff and rooms. Its not a 5 star hotel but great for the price.

Stayed last minute. I was driving back home but there was dug in the road so I stopped for the night. The clerk was nice and servicial although he kept sling if smoke or not. That was the first red flag! Which tenant will push for you to smoke in a room? I sled to be near the office since outside looked extremely unsafe, the first thing I noticed in the room were the cigarette marks on the blanket, I felt disgusted but figured it was just a couple hours. I tried to fly sleep, but the noise from the freeway wouldn’t let me when the suspicious activity started. Next door I would hear the tenants leave and comeback the room multiple times, upstarts I would hear women come in and come out the rooms at all times at night. I started getting really nervous and annoyed about doors slamming, people leaving and walking outside for hours at night. I realized later that this property is situated on a spot known for prostitution. I was not able to catch any sleep worried about my safety or my car. If you are just looking for a safe place this might not be the place for you.

Dont reserve with credit card theyll say once you show up that your name doesnt appear and theyll want you to pay again!

Nice and very clean. Only complaint is that the air conditioning unit has a fan-only feature and it has been disabled to conserve energy. So if you need the noise of a fan to help you sleep, you better bring your own.

Place was clean enough, but the staff seemed to act that we were a burden for staying. We kept the room reasonably clean, but it still felt that they cleaning staff wasn't happy to be doing routine cleaning, and much of the room was barely held together with shotty repairs that fell off if you touched it. (Is it unreasonable to want to be able to use a towel rack without it falling off the wall? ) If you need to stay somewhere for a night, you could do worse, but customer service here is terrible. I would take my chances elsewhere if I need a place in the area again.

We frequent here when in town to see mom. The rooms are nice and the service is good. We have never had any issues here.

We have accidentally booked a smoking room, but the front desk attendant helped us by switching us to non-smoking one at no extra cost 2 days before the Comicon. Although, my wisfe says the water pressure could be better.

Nice rooms with a fridge and microwave. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Prices are a little crazy on the weekend otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.

Stayed here for about a week couple years back when we were looking for an apartment. Overall it has great customer service nice, big and spacious rooms. Also it has many stores, restaurants, and gas stations nearby. It's also like 2 blocks away from downtown and downtown has great scenery. Some people writing reviews had said some of their valuables were stolen from their cars, well have some common sense and don't leave your valuable stuff in the car. There are homeless who stay right outside the parking lot and they are probably the ones who stole your stuff so lock your cars, don't leave your valuables in your car, and park closer to the main entrance for safety.

Very bad in the pictures the pool seems big but in reality only 5 people fit in the pool.

Nice room. Seemed like they renovated recently. Everything looked new and clean. Place is also at walkable distance to many stores and restaurants. For the price it's really good. Will definitely recommend.

Quiet clean and great breakfast my family and I stayed for 3 day for a get a way and would return any day.

Small pool Careless workers AC not to great If you spill sumthun bed liquid proof sheets dosent get on mattress.
