A diamond in the North Shore! Such a million dollar view from our room on the 3rd floor! Staff was super friendly and service with a smile. Room was very nice and spacious with a romantic fireplace! Breakfast had actual fresh fruit in addition to waffles and juice. Well exceeded our expectations and we had a delightful stay.

The hotel Is very good and clean, but other guest's TV sound was so loundly for whole night I couldn't fall sleep and wanted make a call to reception but was not business hour so no one answer the phone. Very bad experience.

Wonderful staff and an extremely clean environment, rooms are cozy with fireplace. Small Continental breakfast but do you really expect anything else from a smaller establishment? Is definitely stay here again.

Cute place, great for a weekend ski trip. Decent breakfast in the morning before you hit the slopes. Also they have a hot tub.

Recently renovated rooms with fireplaces in a great location. Reasonably price for the area. Save money by booking directly.

Love this place, it's simply clean and not fancy. Easy to park, nice breakfast and I like seeing the same nice front desk woman from Poland. Like a second home during ski season.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is super nice. Also we only paid 227 for 2 nights which I think is a wonderful price considering the quality of the room and the beautiful location. You can see the lake from some of the rooms. Not ours unfortunately but that's ok. Highly recommend this place.

The Firelight is a nice place and I would definitely stay there again. It's very quiet, the rooms are large, really clean with comfy beds, gas fireplaces, etc. It's cozy and nice.

Good front desk staff, comfortable rooms and no problem parking. Breakfast is a help yourself continental style but very basic and it happens in the reception area which is a little cramped for that purpose. Wi-Fi worked well but cell phone signal is very patchy. Can be a little noisy due to traffic on the road. Absolutely fine for a few nights stay.

Room was clean and nice. Room had a nice view of the lake. Hot tub was nice. Would stay here again.

Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. As far as I could tell, this hotel does not have air conditioning. The room never got too hot so not having ac was not a problem. Firelite is within walking distance to the lake (maybe a few hundred feet) which made the stay very pleasant.

Bed is a little too soft for me personally, but the view of the lake and pool from room 324 is charming. The gas fireplace adds a nice touch. The room is smalllish, like a hotel 6, but far more clean. Smells fresh. Great for the price in Tahoe! And excellent location!

Recently remodeled and looks nice. Remodel inside the rooms seems incomplete with several items seemingly unfinished. Beds are ok, lots of pillows. Breakfast is limited but was tasty. Gas insert fireplace was nice but we noticed no air conditioning unit. Road noise is moderate but we were on the top floor. Lake view from the balcony was decent.

Great value for money. Large modern cozy rooms with fireplace and views to the lake. Breakfast was OK, I loved that they had fresh fruit salad though seating is very limited. There is a bus just next to the hotel to the Northstar ski resort. The woman working at the reception was very nice.

Location is great, by great cafés and a fantastic restaurant. Rooms were newly renovated and clean. Service was ok.

The room is nice and cozy with a fireplace. Easily fit 4 people in double queen. The breakfast and views were great too. Convenient and cheap place to stay for skiing.

Booked this place last minute on our way into Tahoe based on some older reviews. We were not disappointed. The charm of a classic motel with fully updated rooms. The room was very spacious and clean with a gas fireplace, USB ports, fast Wi-Fi, mini kitchenette and a lake view. Very close to slopes and restaurants. Hot tub that was open late was great after skiing. Fresh continental breakfast included not the junk you get at most motels. For the price this place can't be beat.

Basic motel that was very clean and basic. Excellent place and amenities for us just needing room and shower to launch out each day, evening. Wife loved continental breakfast, very basic but had fresh fruit, excellent waffles, and hit cofee, would definitely stay again.

This hotel is a bit of a hole in the wall, but for a cheap place to stay while skiing, it fits the bill. Free Wi-Fi, good TV channel selection, spacious rooms, and a continental breakfast.

We stayed in a few hotels around King's Beach, Tahoe Vista, etc and at that price (we paid $94 weekend rate) it is simple THE BEST. Clean large rooms, balconies, working hot tub (open late) and — surprise! — a real free breakfast with homemade waffles, fruit, toasted bagels, etc were awesome. The property, unlike many in this area, looks well-maintained. Finally, the frontdesk staff was very helpful. Definitely coming back.
