Room was ok. Bathroom floor was wet around tub like the shower curtain had been hung outside rather than inside during a shower. No plug for drain, so no bath. Door didn’t have 2nd lock up higher for adddd security. VERY limited parking. 8-10 tight fitting spaces behind 1 building and 4-5 even tighter behind a 2nd.
Said breakfast in the morning — but when we got to lobby about 7:45, there was 1-2 pieces of bread to toast and no coffee in the pot. We waited a while, but no one came back to check on the “breakfast”. For $100+ a night, would definitely expect more than bread, coffee (if there was any) and a empty pitcher of juice.
But the room was ok.

I called with an emergency to speak to my father the person at the front desk decided to refuse to drive there job and hang up it was based on a family member being in the hospital and this women couldn’t do her job decided to hang up I do not suggest coming to this hotel there are better places to spend your money they need to realize it’s the guest money who has there hotel still up and running so there should learn basic respect.

Looks ghetto, but have breakfast (doesnt say so on the website) thats a plus. Hardwood floors are nice too. A couple holes in the comforter but we never use that. Really needs an update but suited our needs for the weekend.

We couldn't ask for a better location! Staff wasn't the most talkative on the planet, but gave us a great pizza place to try around the corner, and the coffee, toast, and pastry in the morning did the trick. Our room was spacious and had all the basic amenities, including a desk, which I appreciated for work, and Wi-Fi was okay. Overall, for the price, it was exactly what we needed — place to sleep, cute courtyard, and all the basics. Would recommend if you need a place to rest before exploring the area.

This is a run down hotel but is was okay to just sleep at. Pretty much you get what you pay fo learned a lesson. It is located close to the beach. The wall paper was peeling, cracks on the ceiling and wall. The breakfast was a complete joke. The parking is so horrible and was ridiculous. Would never rec this place again.

Awesome service clean room. I just wouldn't get a room close tongue street again because of all the noise of the traffic. Other than that I had no issues.

I’m sure any of the 5 stars on here are fake. First when I called to book and asked if they are going to send a confirmation to my email she said yes & said to call back if I don’t get it in an hour. When I called back she was giving me attitude over the phone bc she couldn’t spell my name & said that they don’t give email confirmations? We got there & this place was disgusting. When we first checked in they didn’t let us use a restroom till we got our 2 hotels. We came a few hours after check in time and they only had one of our rooms available. I paid some cash and the other half on my card & they only gave me a reciept for the amount on the card. So they were trying to pocket the cash or not get taxed on it. Receipts from McDonald’s looks more professional. After we went to our room you could smell wet dog and mold immediately. The drywall is coming off on the wall and ceiling. The carpet had stains. The blankets had cigarette holes and larger holes you could fit your hand into. There wasn’t a fitted sheet. The microwave had hair in it. In the closet there was a pill on the top. We decided we couldn’t stay there & would just cancel the trip & drive back to Arizona if that was the case. There’s a lot of people that are saying they couldn’t get a refund but we did. The manager in the front was very rude & said she could have the maid re clean the room but unless they were going to refurnish everything we didn’t want to stay there.

Its ok. The room itself is nice enough, but the bathroom is small and dirty, and the sink is rather small. Another down side is the beds are a little firm. Would I stay here again? That is a rather hard decision seeing there are many both pros and cons I could write down.

Wouldn't stay there any longer than a night but it was fine for what it was.

Was having a bad night and just needed a place to finally end the night. The lady was very unwelcoming and rude. Obviously did not value us as customers whatsoever. Room smelt of urine and bathtub drain popped off. Would never even take this location as a last resort ever again!

Rooms are disgusting and smell like mold with the wall paper peelong off the ceilings bathroom is foul and the manager at the desk does not care she just wants the $$ I would avoid here at all costs.

They were great about letting me park my bike where it could be watched. A little deferred maintainence but over all nice.

Good location, rooms are clean, the breakfast is good (coffee, orange juice, toasts, cakes, butter, jam…) parking with vidéo. Ron is the concierge and he is very kind and professional… Thanks to Ron we spend a very nice time in this Hotel. Thank you again!

As someone who spends over 200 nights a year for business in hotels, I feel I have a good sense of what to expect at a property. This is the single worst property I've ever stayed at. Dirty, loud, felt unsafe, and I will never stay here again. This location is part of the Choice Hotel group which has been getting better in recent years, this location is not what I expected from the brand.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel this is not the right choice at all. It's not near Venice Beach, it's like 30 minutes with a bus ride, but that's not the worst thing about this place. The cleaning services were extremely low quality (pubic hair everywhere, dirty towels, used shampoo). The parking lot is very small.

It's a good place to find everything you're looking for.

The front desk clerk was kind of rude and not engaging. The situation was ridiculous and we had to park in the street both nights, having to wake up before 8am to move the vehicle as to not get towed. The room was fine and the amenities were also ok.

Not bad for the location and price. We've stayed here before, but had a better room. We're usually running around LA during our visits or I'm here for CEs, so a fancy room is not a priority. This time our room is missing a slat in the blinds, there's no screen in the bathroom window, and the bathroom door catches on the floor. It has the damp mustiness characteristic of the area (we used to live nearby) while that's not a big deal, it does feel grimy. I'm a frankly grossed out and will spring for better accommodation next visit.

A disaster the place the hotel and full of dirty Mexicans not limpimpian the rooms.

This place was okay but I really don't feel like it was worth 150 a night more like 50 a night But all other decent places booked completely We slept good very peaceful but the cleaning part was not well at all as soon as we walked in I noticed the sheets were stainedeating they didn't even change them they just need to do a better job at cleaning Besides that the guy at the desk was nice which evened it out But I would of loved for it to be more clean because I had my girls with me and they are babies the good thing we had our own blankets The restroom wasn't really clean.

It was a whatever stay. Nothing really negative to say nor positive. Was attending a pool party nearby at another hotel and wanted something cheaper. Price was not bad for the area.

DIRTY ROOMS, UNWASHED SHEETS, BROKEN A/C! We only came to this place last minute to stay for our trip to California since we didn't have anywhere else to sleep. First room they gave us, the air conditioning was broken and the employee spent 20+ minutes working on it in our humid hot room, then called his boss, then the boss arrived and we were given another room after they were not able to fix it. Our second room is absolutely filthy — you can tell they didn't bother changing the bedsheets or pillowcases after the previous people left because we found stains and crumbs IN THE BEDS, and the carpet floor is filthy and covered in crumbs and bits. Plus, there is still an empty Mcdonalds cup sitting on a shelf. They barely made the beds and expected us to sleep in here after paying more than $400. Filthy rooms, half-assed service, and way too expensive for the price we paid for two nights. Never visiting here again, and I still have to stay for a second night. Would leave 0 stars if I could. >: (

This is the dirtest. Stinkiest… place to stay. Not just this location. But this entire chain. I've stayed at another rodeway in Phoenix and it was just as nasty and overpriced. You'd honestly think it is an hourly motel. The parking is the absolute worst! There's only a handful of spots for paying guests… but they are literally so close an average size person can not get out of the car without hitting the car next to them. If I could give it zero stars… I would.

Very nice room and great service.

Did not provide typical amenities like shampoo/conditioner and did not have hot water. Parking was minimal and difficult to get out of. Beds were comfy!

They were able to accommodate us at the absolute last minute. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good location close to the freeway. Pretty much what you'd want from a hotel.

The water to the toilet was turned off, but other than that it was pleasant after we got the toilet figured out.

It was very clean but housekeeping quits if you stay more than two days and you have to ask the front desk to restock your room.

This hotel does not deserve one star. It is disgusting. Conditions are appalling: blood-stained sheets, dirty walls, broken appliances, stained furniture, dirty carpeting, mold. They should be ashamed. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Pretty expensive for this accommodation. The area is reasonably sure, restaurants and supermarket nearby. July $185

Horrible service, canceled my 3 day room reservation without letting me know. Ants and other bugs crawling all around check in area.

Tried to get a room with cash at this location since I had been there before. This time there was a lady she wanted almost 200 dollars just because it was a cash transaction. So I went a little closer to the beach and got one at lincoln inn for 80 dls. Beat that rodeway inn!

Check in told me "last room" $200. Dirty gross stains on wall, curtains falling apart, loose sink plumbing leaking, shower faucet not working. Not worth staying here even if paid to. Breakfast was a joke.

Arrogant, unrespect full, unprofessional and very bad service. Bathrooms are stinky no fans, no break fast (except name). Internet is so slow. It seems they are trying to get money, but it is not worth to stay there.

The location is pretty nice, the lady staff in their office was so accommodating. She even asked if we have some questions and request she said "just call us". They have ample space for parking, too. The room they provided is not that big yet enough for the three of us, my family. Their price is so reasonable compared to other motels and lodge around. Before we get on this motel, I called several places similar to this one but all charges almost double the price of this motel. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a temporary place to stay here in LA, and I surely stay here again when given a chance to visit our friends in LA.
