I had a wonderful time at the Inn. In town for a high school graduation I was stressed, tired and sick and from the get go they were accommodating, positive and friendly. I loved all the personal touches as well, and they were kind enough to let me bring the high school graduate for wine (albeit we skipped that part) and cheese. It was lovely and super relaxing to be around such good food, calm tranquil rooms and great hosts. I will definitely return!

So peaceful! Their location is perfect!

The fabulous staff, wine and cheese reception, chocolate chip cookies, beautiful rooms, beautiful views, beach access. Could go on and on!

This charming Inn is an extremely welcoming comfortable home away from home. The staff go out of their way to assist you to ensure that your stay is everything possible. The inn is located a little wa aa from the hustle and bustle of the big city, but close enough for it still to be easily accessible.
Each evening there is wine and cheese available enabling you to meet the other guests if you wish, this topped with the home cooked extras for breakfast and the cookies you've found home.

Nice clean rooms. Many places to eat in walking distance.

Celebrated my anniversary here recently. It was a wonderful weekend. Quiet and quaint. Good food, great service, a spectacular view. I loved it!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Rooms are clean and homey. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I never had a single issue with our stay here. All that combined with a great location (walking distance to the beach and several restaurants) and great price, I’m so glad we didn’t just go with an airport hotel for our trip to LA! I hope to be back soon.

This place is wonderful! There’s fresh cookies, the rooms are beautiful with good views and minutes from the beach. Restaurants are close and staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay extra fantastic. 12 stars!

Clean lovely rooms. Big Jacuzzi tub. Quaint little place near the beach. View of the wetlands. It's a little older but lots of personality.

Very pleasant and cozy. Great birding. Only drawback was they said they reserved an early morning taxi which never showed. There is a night manager on call but no one at desk. Scrambled for Uber to get to airport.

Located on edge of wet lands so interesting scenery. Not far from beach. Super helpful staff. Excellent continental style breakfast. Wine and cheese happy hour. Beware it is a bed and breakfast style so not as quiet in room as a newer hotel. Highly recommend.

We were headed to Australia for a vacation in mid March 2018 and decided to break up the trip with a 2 1/2 day stay at the Inn at Playa del Rey. The staff was fantastic, we were greeted like family upon on our arrival and the property was absolutely wonderful. Our room had a view of the marshlands and was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and our morning coffee on the balcony. The inn beats a crowded hotel any day and is much more relaxing. Our flight to Australia didn’t departed until 10PM on our final day and the staff allowed us to keep our room at the 1/2 day rate so we were able to enjoy the property until 8pm on our final day! Not to mention another evening of great wine and cheese which is served every evening from 5pm-7pm. The inn is a hidden gem in Culver City, Phil S.

We had such a wonderful experience here at a time when comfort, quiet and warmth were SO very needed. We’re local in L. A. And were having work done in our building on my birthday and the Inn was just the perfect refuge. Rebecca and the entire staff were so welcoming, our Grand View Suite was gorgeous, the Happy Hour and breakfast were just lovely and we got extra special service for my birthday which was both unexpected and truly appreciated. Whether you’re coming from out of town or you’re local and want a nurturing getaway from the L. A. “scene”, give yourself the gift of staying at this extra special place!

What an amazing place. Starting with the nicest, most welcoming staff and ending with a fantastic, high quality breakfast… and everything in between. The B&B is quiet and feels like a true getaway from LA. My husband and I stayed in the Grand View Suite, room 304. There were chocolate chip cookies in the room upon arrival. It overlooks the Ballona wetlands and features a large living room with a fireplace. The fireplace is two sided and the other side is in the bathroom — right by the jacuzzi tub. Very romantic. The wine and cheese happy hour, snacks around the clock, and the breakfast are wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderfully Charming Inn at the edge of Playa del Rey overlooking the bird sanctuary. Walking distance from a number of really wonderful restaurants and the beach. Convenient to the airport and to Silicon Beach Venice and Santa Monica. Very romantic getaway for couples. The breakfast is excellent as well and I highly recommend the quiche.

Me and my wife had a wonderful stay here, spending a night while transiting LAX on our way home. Nice, clean, cosy, good breakfast and the most welcoming, helpful and friendly staff you can imagine, they were really amazing! Highly recommended.

Great little inn! Great service, nice little touches everywhere, good breakfast, and very nice rooms too. Parking is free too.

Overpriced, but nice enough. Clean, workers are nice enough too. Room good. But for a bed and breakfast food was just OK, and sparce. And we paid 50 dollars extra for a Marina view — what a joke. The marina was so far away you practically have to use binoculars to even see it. My advice, skip it. Pay extra and really go to the Marina!

Love this quaint Inn with the comfortable and unique rooms, the genuinely friendly and helpful staff, and the calming, beautiful view. Leave your balcony doors open you'll hear the seals at the marina from time-to-time. You are minutes from the beach, and on a street filled with eclectic, yummy, and fun restaurants and shops. Hard to believe how close you are to LAX yet a complete world away.

This place is a diamond in the city so quant and homey, staff are amazing!

Excellent. The maintenance was fair and the bathroom n the room was fit to anyone. Most of all the staff was welcoming when I entered the room someone lighted up and symphony no. 3 of Beethoven poured out. Great greeting it was.

Very good indeed — unique experience, super staff, fantastic location, near so many restaurants. 8mins from that fantastic 22 mile bike trail, easy to uber — 15 mins from airport. Have stayed in many 4/5 stars all over the world and this one of the few places I would come back to. Really tough to beat. Two watchouts — 1. Book on marina side, the front is busy road facing and risks noise. The back is overlooks a nature reserve and is definitely quiet 2. The chef /kitchen has a sweet tooth and there is a good continental and no cooked breakfast tho Options for this are very close if really needed.

Beautiful little seaside themed inn. Generously sized rooms and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread is also great. Easy access to/from LAX as well as you can take the streets and not enter LAX through the always congested freeway off ramp.

Absolutely fabulous gem hidden away by the coast outside of LA. The staff, service, rooms were all beyond our imagination. Truly a hidden gem and worth staying. My mother and I were only here one night — I wish we had stayed longer! I'll definitely be back someday.

Blown away by this secret getaway in LA. We felt as though we were in Maine. The staff was professional yet down to earth, and the service and attention to detail was astounding. We are already planning our return. We could not recommend this experience enough.

Love this place! Amazing service, so friendly, so hospitable, and so welcoming. Get there in time for wine and appetizers from 5-6 and enjoy the sunset. It's so cool to find a place as homely and earthy and relaxing as this, in a city that is so busy and on-the-go. The rooms facing the wetlands are amazing — — spacious, clean, and relaxing. I highly recommend this place and definitely will return.

Greeted with wine and cookies. Beautiful comfy large suite, with fireplace at tub and in room facing the bed. The grand suite is plush with the living room area and additional room. Lovely breakfast room with view and delicious food. Afternoon refreshments wonderful. One star less, because sandy beach is a short walk, not on premises. Loved this place. You don't feel like you are in a city.

For a few nights at home in the LA area, nothing better. Warm and welcoming staff.

Superb stay. Best staff ever! Nice breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese. The bikes are perfect to visit venice and santa monica. Rooms are super nice and charming. Don't be fooled by the big chain hotels in the neighbourhood.

The Inn at Playa Del Rey was the nicest, most peaceful, beautiful hotel and we will definitely stay there again! Their breakfasts were amazing, in fact, I loved one of their dishes so much that they sent me the recipe right away and they even made it for me again on the morning of our departure. The views are great, the decor is charming, the rooms are beautifully decorated, it's convenient to everything in LA but tucked away from all of the crazy traffic. The service of their staff is beyond AMAZING, they really do treat you like family and they care about all of their guests. We will definitely be back!

I've been here numerous times within the last 20years… Every time I visit small changes are nice that they've made in the rooms. However, if a large breakfast was included it would be better. When I went their were fruits, coffee, Danishes, etc; Love the romantic feel! The view I had overlooked The Marina … Beautiful at night ❤️

Have been here only one day so far and already am so impressed with the inn and its welcoming, kind and courteous staff! The attention to detail here is wonderful, the room is a cozy heaven of relaxation and we are bowled over by how flexible and accommodating the wonderful staff have been — even before we arrived. I would give the inn more than five stars if I could!

Clean beds, sheets and towels (just watch out for the insects near windows and balconys. I've stayed at 4 star hotels recently that did not provide a service like Inn at Playa del Rey. They have free high speed Wi-Fi and they have free parking. Highly recommend this place if you are planning to stay close to LAX airport. However, the staff can help you out plan your entire stay and show you the best places in LA. The only downside, from my point of view, is the location because sometimes it took me 50-60min drive to universal city walk with traffic.

Excellent location a little off the beaten path with great access to beaches, marina, airport. Personal are friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms, decks and dinning is top rate, comfortable and relaxed.

This is a fantastic place! (We live in the area, and used it as a staycation — a break from our two preschoolers. ) The room was very comfortable and cozy — fireplace, beautiful view of the marsh, balcony. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. There were even cookies and a welcome note in our room when we arrived. We borrowed the bikes for a fun ride on the beach path, enjoyed their delicious happy hour — and the breakfast the next morning was scrumptious. (They give recipes — can't wait to get the granola recipe — best ever! ) The only problem was that the time flew by and we had to leave before we knew it! We'll definitely be back. Thanks for such a restorative get away.

A really beautyful and friendly place. Perhaps the most romantic Hotel we've stayed during our roadtrip through the West of the States. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

From the moment we were greeted at check in we knew booking two nights at this Inn was a great decision. They were kind enough to upgrade us which was very appreciated. The staff that greeted us at check in was very friendly and went above and beyond service during our entire stay. Rebecca seemed to be at the front desk, in the kitchen, re-stocking drinks and home made goodies constantly. Nice wine and cheese gathering each evening and the free breakfast was fabulous. The inn is very well maintained with oversized gathering areas both inside and out. Loved the "beach" decor. We took advantage of the free bikes and rode to Santa Monica and hung out on the beach for several hours. Great place to relax when flying in or out of LAX and only 5 miles from the airport. The bedding, pillows, down comforter, etc. Were very comfortable and high quality. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay again when back in the LA area.

My wife and I spent our 8th wedding anniversary at the Inn at Playa Del Rey. We can't wait to spend out 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th. The view is amazing and the staff really goes above and beyond. HIGHLY recommend this B&B.

Romantic and serene free bike rental.

I chose this inn because I was looking for a romantic place for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary and trusted all the great reviews I read online. I had very high expectations and was not disappointed in the least. This place is a gem. We stayed the week after Christmas and received a complimentary room upgrade. It was spacious, clean, bright and inviting with a jetted tub and fireplace. I peeked in a few of the other rooms and the others looked just as adorable and cozy. We borrowed a DVD to watch (complimentary) and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and bike ride in the morning. Our stay we were assisted by very pleasant, friendly staff. I think we're going to make the Inn at Playa Del Rey an anniversary tradition.

My wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was perfect. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and beautiful, and the ambiance was very romantic. The room rates were also very reasonable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.

We love the Inn at Playa del Rey! We always stay here when we are in the LA area for business or pleasure. It is a 10 minute drive to LAX and there is no traffic. A short walk will get you to the beach and a number of good restaurants. The rooms are clean, bright, comfortable and welcoming plus the staff couldn't be nicer. Enjoy a glass of wine with homemade goodies on the deck in the evening, warm homemade cookies and a hot homemade breakfast in the morning. What more can you ask. If you come on business, they have wireless internet and also a small room to hold a meeting if you need it. This is our favorite B&B.
