I live less than a block away and in a fit of desperation for my wall unit not braving the 96+ heat, booked two nights here for my 15 yr old dog and me. We're extending it another three. The rooms are super comfortable — I'm a working writer and I'm getting more done here than I have in months — — and QUIET — no traffic noises from Fairfax, etc. Pre-COVID I was here frequently for the restaurant TART. Now I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel as well as the restaurant. Will be my heatwave go to!

So beautiful! The courtyard is stunning and so lovely to sit by the fireplace for dinner and drinks.
Beautiful rooms each with different antique features. So much lush garden succulents and little spaces to sit and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Staff here are so helpful and super nice! The rooms are adorable and beds are comfortable. The ambience outside is romantic and there is a lot of seating areas. It’s right across from The Grove/Farmer’s Market so you have plenty of eating options and shopping! Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to enjoy LA.

I love this hotel so much! Right in the central, next to the Farmer's market. Fun design, with pool and lovely outdoor restaurant. The staffs are very friendly too. I would definitely stay here again next time!

Great boutique hotel. Wonderful location. Charming room interior. The air conditioning was a bit loud as it's old but it was ok. There is construction in progress next door but thankfully they do not work on weekends (our room was facing the construction).

This is a hotel at a great location. Across the street is the Farmer's Market which is open all day with a great variety of restaurants and eateries. Along the same block further south is Mendocino Farms, a sandwich place that makes great fresh sandwiches to order. Verve Coffee on 3rd Street is a 5 minute walk. Next to Verve Coffee is Sweet Greens (salads) and Belcampo Meats (organic burgers). The building we stayed at has three stories with a tiny vintage elevator that doesn't always work. Although we read reviews that indicate a fair amount of street noise, our room window opens to the back lane, so, we did not find our room noisy. We love the decor of the hotel, the concrete floor, large walk-in shower, adequate sitting benches and table. The bathroom is very large with a curtained glass window to the bedroom. House keeping deliver warm cookies to our room every evening which was a nice touch. We stayed for close to a week and really enjoyed the hotel. From the hotel, we can walk North to explore Beverly Blvd or Melrose Avenue. We can walk South West towards Beverly Hills. We can walk south towards the LA Museum of Contemporary Arts. Yes, definitely, when we visit LA again, we will stay here again.

The location is perfect, close to everything. The room was nice. The only thing is parking cost every night regardless because you have to use the valet. Other than that nice place.

Food is simple and well done, great place for a date or a group, I want to try all of the amazing drinks but im going to have to come back a few times to get to them all. Valet is nice and inexpensive.

Great staff and very clean hotel, also, excellent location. Overall quality of the property was average and the nearby construction awakened us before 8AM but I would recommend the hotel for the quality staff and location.

An absolutely fantastic and kitch hotel. This is right in the middle of everything and is perfect for a tourist. Also being across the road from the farmers market is ideal for breakfast every day. Straight across the road is stop 11 for the hop-on hop-off bus also. The staff are friendly and inviting and would not hesitate to stay there again.

I ate brunch at Tart and it was delightful. Really good food, courteous service, and a really modern beach vibe. Bottle service was great.

Ok place for quick in and outs. Loud music plays almost all night unless that’s what you want it is bothering. Small pool. Good location.

Great Art hotel. Love seeing the detail stuff like the old cigarettes/ art. Lighting in the room, the colors of the walls, love the glass wall between the room to bathroom. Every close to the Grove mall. Nice area to walk around. The only thing is no mini fridge or microwave.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, as soon as you cross the street you have the "Farmers Market" and "The Grove", where there are all kinds of shops and restaurants.
There are several supermarkets and a pharmacy nearby.
The tourist bus has a stop right in front.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, the bed is very comfortable.
The only drawback is that my room overlooked a construction where they started working at 7am, so from that time you could not sleep, besides being so close to the window you had to run the curtains so you could not see the daylight.
Another negative point is that the restaurant closes very early, if you arrive on a late flight as in my case, you will have to look for other options for dinner.
Breakfast is good (a la carte) but limited.
The staff is very friendly and everything is very clean.

Rooms are so spacious, well maintained and clean. They kept our luggage in the holding area without any worries. Well situated for all the sights to go and explore. The happy hour was also a winner. Had a great time so happy we ended up here on a last minute deal,

Wonderful boutique hotel near West Hollywood. Make sure to stop by for the daily free whiskey tasting at 5pm. The only parking is valet (extra $24 per night). Rooms are fun and well decorated!

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. This weekend was the 2nd time we’ve been to LA and both times we have stayed here. It is a beautiful quaint boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is walking distance to The Grove, Farmers Market, and CBS, and just few minutes drive to Rodeo Drive. We will only stay here on return trips.

Unique, kitschy small boutique hotel, with a great location (directly across from CBS Television studios/ Farmer’s Market/The Grove on Fairfax Avenue).
Comfy beds, unusual design with “Farmer’s Daughter” theme. My fav, a Nespresso machine in the room with plenty of pods!
In the lobby, there’s a daily Whiskey-tasting hour at 5 pm. I tried a lovely single malt scotch.
Nice friendly staff who are happy to assist, and there’s a great restaurant (Tart) on premises. Beautiful courtyard with plenty of seating, even a foosball table! Clean, quiet and spacious rooms at a reasonable price. Only caveat, don’t spill water on the concrete floors! I slipped and nearly fell hard! Other than that, I’d return just for

My main purpose for my visit there was to go to Tart for brunch. The Hotel was charming and had a pool, the decor was also very nice. Definitely had boutique type of feel from what I saw from the outside. Tart which is amazing, provided service for hotel guests when it comes to food and drinks.

The Farmer's Daughter Hotel had a lot of personality and a great location. It is probably the most hipster place I have ever stayed in, featuring bbq chips at check in, cement floor and cheeky pillow decor, and a nespresso machine in room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very cute with their farm-themed prints. The TV was nice and there was a DVD player in the room. An in-room fridge is always welcome, and the shower had a great shower head. The hotel is totally kitchy and cute, the staff is sweet and attentive and the breakfast at the restaurant Tart is tasty. The staff is dressed in denim and red checkered shirts. There was a plate of cookies and a jug of lemonade in the lobby. They've got two parakeets in a cage as well! We booked the rate that include valet parking and breakfast. I *loved* everything about this hotel (re-vamped) motel EXCEPT the beds. We stayed here on the last night of our 17 night, 11 hotel road trip. The beds in this hotel were *BY FAR* the least comfortable. The beds were hard and lumpy. They were noisy! When ever you turned over there was a loud crunching noise like someone was walking on styrofoam packing peanuts. Also the bed was not against the wall, so I had to shove a pillow down behind the bed to keep the pillow that I was using from sneaking away from me. There was no light/lamp that I could reach while laying in bed. I had to get out from under the covers to turn the light off at bedtime. We were in room 109. Perhaps the other beds are better. This was the priciest hotel on our trip at $235/night (valet + b'fast incl). I really, really want to give this hotel more than 3 stars, but I just can't with the horrid beds.

Not a bad spot. Quaint. Room was small but nicely decorated. Nothing bad or really good to say about it. Id preferred the Best Western in the valley honestly.

Great rooms that have comfortable seating and are clean and functional. Food at the hotel is excellent for breakfast and good sized compared to other hotels I have stayed at. The location is excellent if you like trying a ton of different food or shopping for clothes. There is a lot to do around and many cool Locations are within walking distance or you can take a free bike from the hotel.

This is only focused on Tart restaurant at the farmers daughter. The food is really good. The prices are high but has been worth it every time I have been there. Service is ok but environment of back patio is great. They also offer 20%-50% off your check if you jump in the pool with all clothes on. Fun concept. They also have foosball and board games for free.

Very cute hotel close to Beverly Hills. Artsy, and the staff was quite helpful with recommendations. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in LA.

Great boutique hotel in a central location in Los Angeles. The staff has been great! We were given homemade cookies and a small bottle of sparkling wine. The rooms are unique and cozy.

+ : quite room (asked before), enough space in the room, very cosy, space to hang clothes, great products in the bathroom, courtyard very nice in the evening, well located, front desk staff nice. — : check out at 11am, parking 24$/day, old AC, 2birds in a small cage not really necessary… Very good hotel in WeHo. I will recommend it for sure and be back if I get the chance!

The hotel is located withing walking distance of a good amount of shops, with The Grove and The Farmers Market just right across the street. The rooms are unique and have their own character to them, with modern aesthetic and unconventional design to them. However, they still have the amenities that you would come to expect. There is a nice, albeit small, saltwater pool, and a nice lounge area outside, with friendly lighting and some fire pits. My biggest complaint is the parking. Parking is valet only for 24 dollars a night. It is understandable that this is necessary since the hotel is located in a city with minimal parking available, but it still is a hefty cost, especially for more extended stays. Overall, it is a pleasant place to stay if you want to explore the Hollywood/Santa Monica area, and still settle down in a lively place.

Great farmhouse vibe (as the name suggests! ) but with an edgy city influence of humor and funk. Why humor? Because of pillows in your room that say "be nice or leave " or funny phrases on your room placards. Why funk? When you think of a farmhouse bedroom, do you also picture it having mirrors on the ceiling? Yeah, me neither. But it came off as pretty cool. And yes, they had a believable farmhouse decor complete with plank wood-ish floor color, exposed sheet metal shelving (but clean/modern), a sink with old fashion water fall faucet and much more. Unfortunately, I was there just to sleep. So I can't comment on the public areas. But I did see they had a great outdoor seating arrangement in many parts of the hotel.

Lovely hotel with a fun atmosphere, great staff and convenient location to the Farmer´s Market, the Grove and 3rd St. I had a room in the main building. The rooms are a bit non-traditional, but I enjoyed this and found mine very nice and comfortable. I highly recommend the Farmer´s Daughter Hotel.

Loved it! I was kind of hesitant to book a room at a place I had never heard of but, once I arrived we were greeted by the friendly valet and when I stepped into the lobby I was pleasantly surprised at how cool the place was! It was early… we arrived before the normal 3p check-in time but our room was ready so, they gladly accommodated us. The place was busy with people of all ages, ethniticity, both locals as well as guests socializing in the patio cabanas. Music playing from the bar and the restaurant was packed as well. It really has such a cool vibe! We stayed in one of their "tack" rooms. It was clean and cutely decorated. The a/c worked well, the shower was hot and had plenty of water pressure. Beds comfy and pillows thick and fluffy. The rocking chairs were comfy to sit and watch the action below or just look at the view of The Hollywood sign. We were visiting the CBS studios to attend a taping of The Price Is Right which is located directly across the street from The Farmers Daughter for my 50th birthday. They have a long list of previous guests who also attended TPIR. Take a peek at the shrine while you are there in the lobby. We missed eating at Tart but, we did eat at the restaurant across the street by The Farmers Market and it was really good. We then went for a stroll thru the market and The Grove. WOW! The following morning, it was an easy walk to the corner for Petes Coffee before heading to CBS.

We are loving our stay! We mentioned we were in town for a very important Dr appointment for my husband and could tell I am very pregnant so they up graded us to a sweet to help make our day a little easier. We will be returning and telling all our friends.

Boutique rooms just steps from the Groove. Service is good, and valet is convenient. Room had a small fridge that had a couple sodas for purchase, but was large enough to handle a few left overs. Second time we've stayed here, will stay again.

Nice place. The room we stayed in wasn't very well lit. Perfect location. Very nice, helpful staff.

We were told we could check in early, however once we arrived at the hotel, we couldn't check in early. We ended up checking our bags at the front. The front desk agent (dark haired girl) said she would call when a room is ready. At 1 pm I called, but she said they still didn't have a room ready and that SHE would call ME when she had one available. I find that strange, especially when check out is at 11 am but ok. Needless to say no one ever called us, so we ended up just checking in around 7 pm. I explained what happened to Mitchell at the front desk and he was very apologetic and gave us a complimentary breakfast which was cool. Except the breakfast service was sooooo slow, but whatever it was free and we were on vacation. The servers in the restaurant were super sweet and friendly though. Our air conditioner was weird. It would come on for like 10 minutes then turn off for an hour or so. It was pretty loud turning off and on and kept me up all through the night. The hotel is cute and in a good location, but I will not be staying here in the future.

The room was fun and cute. The people could be more hospitable but overall was ok.

The location is perfect, have on hand everything you need. The people speak Spanish if you have any problems, always very talking about. The place is very welcoming and you feel at home. Bonus: between 5 and 6 PM has time of whisky! Free! And with snack!

Room 109 for one night. Room was fine, food is VERY expensive and not that great, valet was nowhere to be found, though we found his podium.

It's a pretty cute hotel. The aesthetic is great. There were some minor problems with our room. There was a burnt out bulb that was never replaced and the shower head is loose, so it won't stay where you put it. Check in was easy. The staff is very friendly. Valet parking is available. The location is great for shopping at the groove.

After a gas leak rendered my apartment unsafe to stay in until the problem was solved, I moved to the Farmer's Daughter for a week. What a charming place and delightful staff. It was like a 'staycation' and really close to the fun-filled Grove. I can recommend this gem of a hotel with its quirky aesthetic for all your out of town guests or yourselves if you also fancy a restful week-end without the hassle of travel. 'Tart' offers a nice choice of food both for room service and eating on siteand there are plenty of restaurant options within walking distance.

The exterior areas of this motel are fun and designed well if not a bit too hipstery. The rooms are where this motel loses points. Let's leave denim for jeans not bedspreads. My room felt a bit dark and creepy. I wouldn't stay here again because of the rooms. The valet staff is excellent while the front desk staff made several mistakes. The location is the best feature of this motel and if you are a tourist and/or under 30, you will probably thoroughly enjoy this motel. For this 35 year old, I felt the rooms fell into the "gross" category and the hipster touches like the aggressive Whisky tasting did nothing for me. The brunch scene at Tart, the motel's restaurant, was packed all weekend with a cacophony of joyful kikis rising up into the gorgeous LA atmosphere each time I walked by. Again, not for me, but many may enjoy.

Great stay until they stole from us. Had an expensive and heirloom hat stolen from us by the check-in. No honest attempt at investigation or consolation from the staff following our numerous complaints. Really really poor service on top of violating criminal behavior.

The hotel was OK at best. There wasn't any closet in the room. Modern, I get it but no closet? Get it together. Also the hotel was under construction and so was the pool! What did we get as compensation after complaining? ONE drink ticket! One for two people! And really? A drink Ticket? We stayed there for over a week! With construction starting at 8 am! This must be a joke. Will NEVER recommend this to anyone. Very very very disappointing.

Fun hotel. The owners are lovely. The restaurant Tart inside has some great American dishes. Its right across from the Grove.

Very disappointed. Not worth the price. This place is a superficially remodeled seedy motel. Mold in the bathroom, shower barely worked and tub didn't drain. Room didn't smell so great either. Pricey valet parking. I suppose they can get away with it due to the location.

I stayed at the Farmer’s Daughter last week and have been raving about it ever since. The place is beautiful, the staff is fantastic, they have a whiskey happy hour (which gave me quite the education on the spirit! ), and there’s a great restaurant and bar attached that has a wild brunch. If you’re the least bit athletic you’ll be able to walk to quite a few Hollywood hot spots from the hotel. First of all, the Farmer’s Market, and The Grove, are right across the street. In the span of four days I ate Brazilian BBQ, fantastic Mexican, and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. (FYI — If you get up early, and hit up The Grove before the majority of the stores open, it’s pretty awesome to walk around the nearly empty outdoor mall, see the fountains, and hear the music, which the day I went was Sinatra, playing through the speakers) There’s also a 24 hour CVS down the street, which came in handy when I needed an energy drink at a random hour. I walked to the El Rey Theatre (1.5 miles) for a show, the route to which had me pass right by LACMA. Melrose, and all its quirky shops (and my friend’s art galleries) is also only 1.5 miles away. Amoeba Music is a bit more of a haul at around 3 miles away, but that’s still not bad being that most days are beautiful. Also, less than half a mile up from Melrose is Hollywood Boulevard, which you want to walk down anyway.

Great hotel and real cozy. Great to take your lady there and enjoy LA.
