It seemed quite absurd to be charged 1-night 3 days prior to check-in, then to be charged another deposit upon check-in, when the room was fully paid for prior to arrival. Unfortunately, during the stay, and after, the friendliest person actually in the hotel was the guard at the beginning of the parking lot! Rooms came with a coffee pot, but no plug to use it. Had to move the pot to the bathroom for an outlet. Outlet behind TV was overloaded/fire hazard with multiple plugs. Additionally, there wasn't even modern hotel room accommodates in the room: such as a mini-fridge, microwave, or an extra blanket in the closet! The ice maker tasted like it came from water in the creek down the street and to purchase water in the vending machine required cash — but there wasn't an ATM on the hotel site, only at the park, gift shop or restaurant. Quite inconvenient. I asked for Wi-Fi access at check-in and was told to call the operator to get it. Why? The entire weekend found very large, loud, groups of teenagers for some dance, party, or ceremony, that took it upon themselves to run amok with the only 3 elevators and 1 stairwell available to PAYING guests, when they were not staying — hotel staff chose to ignore. The pool/splash pad was probably the best asset we utilized outside of the room at this hotel. Unfortunately, towels for the pool weren't restocked if it happened to be after 6pm. It's unfortunate that every hotel in the vicinity is extremely run-down that it would not even be an option to stay at. So to have even a remotely clean bed to sleep in, you have to get crappy service. Oh, by the way, it took over a week to receive a "refund" for an absurd charge for a prepaid room simply because that's what they wanted to do, said the finance clerk. If you stay here, bring stuff like you're going camping and don't expect smiles from the real humans — just the costumed ones.
