Room was surprisingly very clean and there was a mini fridge and microwave. Good Direct TV channels. The only thing that was a turn off was the nasty pool. It looked dirty and there's no way I would swim in it.

Not impressed, the room was run-down and too tiny for two beds. Pool was dirty with old chairs and broken down appliances sitting around the pool. It looked like a dump.

Very clean and nice room. I don't know what motel the other people stayed in or if they've since improved but the room I'm in (12) is very nice for the price. It's definitely cleaner than the Hilton Checkers in DTLA that costs 5x as much which was kinda surprising to me. Definitely not sketchy at all. Large TV in room, fairly comfortable bed, no bugs or weird odors and my non-smoking room did not smell like smoke at all or stale smoke. I didn't see any weirdo motels types and the swimming pool looked properly maintained and didn't have anything float in it. Room is a decent size not huge but not claustrophobic and had plenty of clean chairs, an executive desk, 3 end tables and a bar/tv table. Bathroom is totally spotless. Front desk people were nice and accommodating. $20 deposit but that makes sense I'm pretty sure most decent hotels charge more than $100 for deposits. For the price I definitely recommend it.

For just a place to crash after a full day of California it good.

Stayed in room 48. First off… BLACK MOLD IN BATHROOM! There was no ventilation in the extremely small bathroom which created mold all over the ceiling and walls. This was upsetting to me because I have medical issues. Room was non smoking but someone took the batteries out of the smoke detector and smoked anyway. So the room smelled like cigarettes and mold. Felt extremely unclean and I was worried about taking off my shoes. The carpet was slightly damp in places and I don't know why. When I checked into the room they insisted on a cash only $20 deposit. Was never notified when I booked the room they only took cash. Glad I had money with me cause I typically dont carry 20 dollars worth of cash with me. When I checked out I had to ask for the deposit back and he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. Had to stand my ground and tell him I wouldnt be leaving without it. Really really dirty. Bad customer service. Only redeeming thing about this place is the location.

It was clean but when the microwave was voted the Breakers.

It was an okay Place low-key nothing fancy and the pricing was okay.

The price was great for the area, but many things where in disrepair. The door to the bathroom had been patched several times making it very difficult to turn the handle without sticking, the bathroom window was broken and not locking, several holes in the walls, and the inside handle to the entrance door fell off just by trying to open it.

Not new, but very clean, safe and a great location. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Wifi connection was weak though. I would definitely come back to stay at this motel!

My family and I stayed at this motel room 28 and be very careful with BED BUGS stayed here for one night and my husband had to kill couple roaches, crickets, and it was mold and dirty even the table wasent clean horrable place my six year old son got over 17 bed bug bites and now we have to take all our luggage to the cleaners for bedbugs dont stay here!

One of my favorite places to stay. Clean, close to shopping, food Knotts and Disneyland.

The outside of the buildings are super charming and appealing. I was surprised to see it was so close to both Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.

Went to check into the room, door handle fell off the door. Every lightbulb was bare and the ac in the room looked like a pile of junk. Don't stay here, its a scam.

It was a decent place to stay. The bed wasn't too uncomfortable and the water in the shower got hot immediately in the morning. The toilet was loud while flushing though. The fridge kept everything really cold, which was nice. The Wi-Fi was also pretty fast.

We stayed here because it was one of the few places we could find with vacancy. If you get room 43 check for bugs… bed bugs. I always check the rooms before and we found bed bugs on the headboard and mattress. Immediately asked for a refund but Mgr refused. Was assigned another room on another level. Went in and checked, made Mgr move bed and mattress too. We stayed. However gross the room looked. The bathroom turned out to have black mold on the walls and there was no freaking place to hang your towels had to put them on top of the toilet back. Do not stay here. Learn from my mistake!

It is economical, the rooms are well equipped the attention and the cleanliness is very good.

This places starred out okay. When we got to the hotel its smelled like someone was smoking before we even got to the place. And tried covering the smell with air freshener eww. It looks like they can't even count how many towels they had in the hotel. Because they were blaming us for taking one! We used our own towels because they don't look clean at all. Overall I don't recommend this place one bit.

The air conditioning unit was located in an inconvenient place that took a long time to cool down the room. The service was and cleanliness were both fine, though. Nothing extraordinary about the Sahara, but it was a good, cheap, overnight hotel.

We've stayed at sahara multiple times now. As for the reason I continue and will renting rooms here : its awesome! Im a nice and positive person so naturally everyone (who is) nice and positive back. The staff is remarkable. The rooms are great value. I know what im getting when I get a motel. Non smoking king size or double queen is legit af value. And I even left me macbook in my room, and was able to come and get it after a day had passed and they had other renters in it even. Honest staff. Generous with value. Love it thank you!

I wouldn't even give it a star. The room was nasty. After pulling back the sheets I noticed dirt on the bed. The pillows all smelled like arm pits. And the sheets were itchy and smelly. Hardly any of the lights worked and to top it off the ac was noisy as heck. And I got charged $115 for that room. The worst mistake I have ever made. If it wasn't for my son who was super tired I would of kept looking All night if I had to. I don't recommend to anyone. Go else where. You will thank me.

I'm always scared to stay at a motel. I'm very picky about the cleanliness of my room. My husband and I wanted to save money, however, and I was nervous about what we'd get. I was happy to see that our room was clean, housekeeping came just about every day, the price was reasonable, the management very nice. Great location, close to Knott's Berry Farm, short drive to Disneyland. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. The fridge worked a little too well and froze the milk after a few days, but it was wonderful to have it. You will want to bring shampoo and conditioner. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, courteous staff, rooms are clean, nice TV… But the outside looks really outdated, but not a bad place to stay, about 20 min drive to Disneyland.

I would give this place a minus 5 stars if I was able to. Had drugs given to me outside my room by a stranger. Kids were told to be quiet every time we left our room even when loading in to our car to go to Disneyland. Took them swimming and was told they are not allowed to jump splash or play only swim to relax. We were the only ones out there at 6 in the evening. One plus we didn't seem to get bed bug bites which was a surprise because this place is nasty.

The room screams all night; very noisy pipes. Decent bed, lights missing in the bathroom.

Great price $55+ tax = $63. Owner was very friendly and nice. He offered to brought me see the room to check if a/c working. Have fridge and microwave in every room. Even though it is located by the street, but still quite. Reasonable environment and price.

Very Affordable rates! The Management were Very Friendly too, and the room was clean, comfortable, safe, and quiet. My only complaint is that the Ice Machine is Never working. Other than that, I Highly recommend this Motel.

My wife Daughter and I checked into this Hotel for a Disney weekend, and we so disappointed the air condition was moldy and roaches all over and Black Mold in the Bathroom that was painted over, comforter had burn wholes in them microwave was nasty do recomend this place to a dog to stay. Pool was Dirty and they charge for ice not a good place to stay.

I Can't even Offer this place one star We booked 2 rooms to this motel while at Knotts Berry Farm and arrived after closing so around 10:30 pm we checked in and at that time the desk clerk gives 1 key card and tells us to go to this room and to wait untill he checks if the other room is ready and he will come to the room with the Key Card we had Sleepy children with us and could not understand why the room would not be ready this late at night. Once in the room to wait for the next room we noticed Cockroaches crawling on the walls we immediately packed the kids in the car and asked for are money back. This place is a joke and should be shut down.
