A great place to stay. Excellent hosts, well equipped and relaxing.

I have and do always have a great time when I come down to palm springs and every resort I stay at has always been great but this resort was nice by appearance and that is all the owner there was the rudest most disrespectful person ever he seemed nice at check in to get the mo ey but after that he became a very mean unhappy person who spoke to me as if he was some higher power and just was not a nice person I would never recommend ever to stay there ever.

The absolute BEST weekend! My husband booked a long weekend for us for my birthday. From check in to check out, it was a fantastic experience. The owner/operators are such nice guys and they take excellent care of their guests. L-O-V-E the BearFoot!

An intimate (11 room) clothing optional resort for gay men located within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs. Immaculate.

I have stayed at the Bearfoot Inn several times and I have always had a great time. Very nice rooms, very tidy and clean, love the hot tub, great views, close to down town, free access to great gay gym, free parking and a great service by the sweetest guys. You can't go wrong booking at the Bearfoot Inn.

Room are not particularly clean, the drawers were full of bits and the floor not well swept. This place could be great if cleaned better and the owners were more friendly as the hotel has a lovely pool and a nice communal area for socialising.

Pros: The beds were comfortable and sheets and towels were clean. The scenery is amazing and the pool and hut tub are nice. Cons: The floors were very dirty, like they are poorly cleaned. They kick you out of your room to clean instead of coming back at another time. Everyday we came back from a long hot day in the desert they turned off the air conditioner so your room was hot and muggy. The refrigerator in our room was off and smelled awful. The manager is surly and has numerous rules guests must abide by and is not afraid to make passive aggressive comments, definitly detracts from the vacation if you are afraid you'll get yelled at. We were told we couldn't use the BBQ grill because it'd be to much trouble. He actually threatened our group that he wouldn't have the continental breakfast if we made to much noise at night.

Clean room. Great price. Swimming pool is private. Great location. For the price you can't beat it.

We love staying at the bearfoot Inn, it's quiet, clean and very enjoyable, I really like Glen he's kind every time we go we will continue to stay there.

My husband and I stayed for three nights and enjoyed this place. We are considering a return visit soon! I read the other reviews and believe they're too critical, for example, one guest stated he was chastised for leaving the spa jets on. Well if it was his home and he had to pay for the electricity to keep the jets going and not having them be used he too may want the jets turned off when not in use. Keeping the resort's overhead expenses down helps to keep the guests' rates down. Anyway, the place is clean and pleasant and offers much more in way of amenities than most hospitality establishments offer, for example, breakfast, free Wi-Fi, pool towels (which, by the way, are very plush and absorbant and luxuriously soft bath towels are too), soda/beer on an "honor" system refrigerator in pool area, kichette in some rooms with refrigerator, microwave, blender, pots, pans, dishes, flatware, private patio in back of room, in-room safe, and more. The owner keeps to himself so it feels like a truly relaxing, resort where the guests can feel at home and be themselves. The negative comments are probably from high-maintenance individuals who would complain regardless of where they are staying. The resort is very convenient to downtown and all the nightlife, shopping, dining, etc. This is truly a gay man's resort for those who have outgrown the pretentiousness of their 20-30s and want a more relaxed, mature environment. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Two days seemed like two weeks. If you want quiet, service and quality you should look elsewhere.

Always a great time! Friendly, clean, no drama, and sometimes a little frisky. The owners Glen and Jerry couldn't be nicer or more hospitable.

Though the resort is visually very pleasant, the manager is not. We were chastised for leaving the jacuzzi jets on for example. 8 of the 10 guests we spoke with reported unpleasant run-ins with the manager. One guest mentioned he wanted to have a friend visit and was told there would be a $10 "day use" charge. To use the barbecue required a $20 clean-up fee. There are MANY gay resorts in Palm Springs and though this is off-season and we stayed mid-week, the resort was only half-full and I'm sure the surliness of the manager contributed to this lowered occupancy. My partner and I are older, quiet, respectful and polite but were told we didn't need to come back by the manager. He complained about the electricity bill yet the water must have been heated to 180 degrees! When I mentioned he could cut back on the temperature of the water heater he responded that that was his way of keeping people out of the shower. We have stayed at several resorts in Palm Springs and never experienced the rudeness and total lack of hospitality we received at the Bearfoot Inn.
