Our room was awesome we got the jacuzzi room and it had a great view of the beach. The room was huge, great hospitality. Cant wait to stay here again!

I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday with a trip to the coast. We really enjoyed our stay at Oceanview so much we booked a room with a balcony for the 4th of July 2020 they were booked up for this year. Very friendly and attentive staff and a great view from our room on the 3rd floor. Great restaurant nextdoor the Apple Peddler and the aquarium is right there. I would recommend Oceanview to any of my friends heading to Crescent City!

The room was a 3 queen bed suite at the end of the building on the first floor. The size was perfect for our family and the price was decent. Why the 3 stars? The beds are absolutely horrible and hard. The bedding is old, outdated, stained, and has holes. The pillows are way too soft they just flatten out. Our bathroom wasn't very clean (there were at least 4 pieces of hair in different spots of the shower and debris on the floor. ) They have a parking lot and parking is free. They have a breakfast included in the price of the room. It's not fantastic, but adequate. Options include donuts, muffins, bagels, toast, eggo waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, 3 kinds of cereal, oat meal packets, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit (apples and bananas). Non smoking rooms.

We stayed here for 3 nights, leaving this morning, and we really enjoyed this hotel. It was clean, the rooms were up to date, and the staff were friendly. I think my only complaint is our last night. Someone was smoking out back just below our room and it was blowing in, so we had to close up and not enjoy the sea breeze. Other than that we would stay here again.

Very nice hotel! We loved our stay here. The rooms were very clean and nice. They serve tea and hot chocolate whenever you want. They are close to the beach and restaurants. The continental breakfast had lots of options. We would definitely stay here again.

Made our reservation on the internet. Check in was quick, room 302 has 3 queen beds that was perfect for our family of six. We brought a box fan recommended by other guests on yelp. Our beds were comfy, there aren't any extra pillows or blankets. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Continental breakfast was good. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, frozen waffles, toast, bagels, variety of muffins, bananas, apples, variety of cereal, and oatmeal, orange and apple juice, coffee and regular milk. Breakfast was from 6am to 10am.

Outside the hotel, it looks pretty stellar. Inside, it's rather nice and upscale. Got to our room that was nicely arranged, clean, and well kept. The only thing that I wasn't real sure or happy with was that the bathroom had a sort of sulfurous smell to it. Kind of like hard boiled egg smell. Had to make sure it wasn't just me, but my mom's room had the same smell. Was sorta odd.

Wait staff is great. The rooms were big, nice, and clean. Breakfast is good but bread heavy. The shower had really good water pressure. A beach area is a short walk away. I enjoyed my stay here.

Convenient location to the best Mexican restaurant in town, and to the beach front park. The hotel receptionists can be more professional. The kids will like an indoor pool to exert excessive energy before going to beds. This is a nice hotel with big rooms. Get the 3 beds room for the best.

A beautiful hotel on the beautiful California coast. It’s got good breakfast, nice large rooms, and it is close to the city making everything easy to get to. One thing that might bother some light sleepers is that there is a fog horn that beeps and you can especially hear it at night, the fog horn has nothing to do with the hotel it is from the marina right next to it. Overall it’s an amazing hotel. I will definitely be returning.

Keep in mind that crescent city is not Luxurious. This hotel is better than many other options in town but the rooms are not four star. There are rooms that face the bay over a field and a road so it is not on the beach. The lobby is nice and the person at the desk was polite and helpful. The parking lot is nice as well and you will close to restaurants and ocean world as well as a convenient stores. The rates are typical for the area.

We had a nice clean room with a view of the ocean. It was very nice. They have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate whenever you want without having to pay. They also give you free breakfast every day you're in the hotel.

We stayed 3 days (sun-wed). There were 4 of us. Two couples, two Jacuzzi rooms. My husband and I have stayed in alot of hotels in the past and this one has been one of the cleanest, quietest, nicest continental breakfasts and friendliest hotels. The room is very spacious, the Jacuzzi is great, barely any noise from other rooms, very clean rooms. The only recommendation I have is to update the decks for room 226 & 228. Kinda feel unsafe when u have 4 people out there, feels unstable. Other than that amazing!

Located close the ocean but a sizeable field us between the inn and the ocean. I was on the top floor and could see the ocean but it didn't feel like I was on the ocean. I had a king size 1 bed it was very large. Layout seemed to be for 2 queen size beds so the room was large. The Continental breakfast was muffins, bagels, bread and juices.

It was a very nice place and I was happy to stay here with my family. It was just a quick overnight for us and the only thing I might have wanted for the future would be a pool for the kids.

Decided to go to this hotel on a whim after finding a good deal online. Everything about this hotel was fantastic from the staff to the views. The rooms are nothing special but they’re clean and sizable. I would totally go here again next time I head up to the National Park!

Very clean, the instant we checked in and walked into our room it smelled fresh, and I have a very sensitive nose so I usually catch even the slightest odors. We stayed 4 nights, and the staff was very helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for their guests. We are early risers, and breakfast starts at 6, but we were surprised to find breakfast was out a little early to cater to early birds such as ourselves. Just one of the many good things about our stay. Overall I was very impressed and would not hesitate to stay again.

Clean room with dated decor. Comfortable night's sleep. The Crescent City harbor has a fog "horn" that beeps every 8 seconds. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room on the inland side and bring earplugs.

We stayed from a Wednesday to the next Tuesday and really enjoyed our visit. The trip there ended up taking more time because of road construction but when we called to find out if there would be an extra fee or anything they were very kind and said that as long as we had a reservation that there wouldn't be a problem. They also lowered our rate when we got there which was very nice. The photos don't really do it justice. It is very well kept, very clean and everyone if friendly and helpful. It is also well located for the trails, beach and anything else you may want to do. I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Cresent City.

Great room, very large with great views on the water. On site coin op laundry. Decent free breakfast.

This Hotel was so perfect. Room was huge and the sound of the fog horn was so peaceful at night. My family loved it as well and they are hard to please.

The place is Ok. It's a budget hotel. The staff was friendly. The carpet in our room was ripped in a couple of places. The armchair had a hole in it. The room felt like they had some odd furniture and pictures laying around and threw it in there. These are minor, but they do add to the experience. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I like a little more comfort in my hotel rooms. It was worth the try. The Mexican restaurant across the street was really good though!

I have stayed here at ocean view inn a few times now, both visits were great! Friendly staff, clean, and big spacious rooms. Also, another great place that is identical to ocean view inn is light house inn! I have stayed at both places and both are equally great! I plan on staying at these wonderful places again in the near future.

Really happy with this experience. Room was clean, staff was great. Location was amazing. RIGHT NEXT to Ocean World. South beach is 4 minutes by car. The closest beach off the back of the resort (thought the RV park) was fun. Shallow water, shells and sand dollars everywhere. Pic attached was from that beach. No filter. Was an amazing foggy/misty morning. We're planning a trip back, and will stay here again.

Clean, friendly staff, and budget friendly. We were lucky this place had an opening at the last minute. Popped in and they made it a piece of cake. Bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Thanks for the hospitality.

Located on Highway 101 close to the city park and lighthouse. The rooms on the street are still relatively quiet. Breakfast the usual Motelstandard. Opposite a small Mexican restaurant which you can recommend.

Excellent hotel. Looks like a lot of care was put in this hotel. Rooms are very large. Price is reasonable. Service is friendly. Breakfast is good for the price (free). Rooms are clean. Wifi is reasonably fast. There is nothing to complain about. Would stay here again on future visits.

Excellent! All the staff here are apt to help when asked. Manager understands the meaning of great customer service and greets everyone with a smile. I have children and they are convinced she is a nice lady and looks forward to breakfast when they will see her. I will be back and will recommend Ocean View Inn to all of my visitors, friends, and family. Thank You!

We loved the price, view and in room jacuzzi hot tubs they offer here! Staff was very friendly and everything was very very clean! The nautical theme throughout the lobby was awesome and they had coffee, tea and hot cocoa for guests all day long as well as a nice Continental breakfast. Will definitely be back!

Overall a good experience. Staff was helpful, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well kept. We had a room with a view which was a nice bonus in the morning. Only complaint was that the walls were so thin we could hear the entire late night conversation happening behind us. Didn't try the breakfast but it looked pretty good! Laundry machines on site too.

Fantastic hotel with great staff who know how to look after visitors, breakfast was the best so far on this trip, very clean large room over looking ocean, only down side is the sound of the lighthouse horn in the night, we would highly recommend you stay here.

The Hotel can only be recommended. If I should ever come back this way again, only this Hotel.
