This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were large, spacious and quiet. The beds and pillows were great. The staff were also very nice to talk to and willing to help and talk to you. I would come here again.

AC/heater is really nice and quiet. Room has a nice warm homely vibe to it. Breakfast is complimentary from 6 am to 9 am. The bed comes with plenty of pillows to cuddle with if you're feeling lonely. Only complaints I have are that there is a weak tile in my bathroom and the lights flicker every once in awhile, creeps me out a bit.

Very pleasant staff, appreciate the complimentary hot breakfast, enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. Facilities are in very good shape. Great location, too; restaurants and shops close by. Beach close by as well. Would stay here again.

When we checked in our room, it was still a mess from the previous occupants. After driving 7 hours. They told us to leave and come back later. House keeping employees were rude and care more about their phones than being helpful. I have stayed at Best Western many times and always look to see if there is one in the Cities we choose to visit. This is the first one that I have been disappointed with. We would not go back.

We had this be one of our stops on our vacation of doing Highway 101. I had called the morning of our reservation and spoke with Robert asking him to please make sure that we would be assigned a quiet room. The room was perfect! The young ladies that checked us in were very polite. This BW is both a hotel and motel if you know the difference. If you prefer having a room with the exterior door inside, you may want to request it. Great location if you are heading for the Redwood National Forest as well.

We had a beautiful room, number 330 with an awesome view of the harbor. It was a very large, well appointed room. They offered a nice breakfast in their restaurant.

Not too many options in Crescent City but this was a nice place to stop over night. Bed was comfortable, small fridge was nice to store our snacks. Having a microwave allowed us to eat lunch leftovers for dinner. There is an awesome park a few minutes down the road that the kids loved. If you have kids give yourself enough time to go play there. The indoor pool and hot tub was great. Pool is heated. Pass on the breakfast. Yes, it’s included but not worth it. The boiled eggs had a weird taste, kind of sour, even the 18m old didn’t want it. The scrambled egg was tasteless. Most of us in our family our GF so the options for us were limited. No fruit. Sausage over cooked. Bacon thin like paper. There has to be better options in town.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Price was reasonable and staff was pleasant. The full breakfast was nice too. When we were there internet did not work in the back buildings so if you stay either get a room in the front or ask if they've been able to resolve the issue.

Great spot to lay your head for the night, but the beds were little too firm for my liking. And People upstairs in the 2nd floor And they have kids that are running up-and-down the hallway it's pretty noisy when you trying to go to sleep. But other than that a very nice hotel.

Best Western Plus in Crescent City provided a great value and location during our visit to the Redwoods. Their breakfast is better than any I've had in many hotels, especially considering it is included in the price of the room. We had no issues with the internet. Two of us were using it during peak times in the room and it was easy to access and very fast.

The hotel is easy to identify driving and by walking. It is close to the bike path that runs parallel to the bay providing access from the pier to the lighthouse. The breakfast in the morning is very adequate and plentiful. The staff has been very pleasant and professional. The motel itself is consistent with all of the others nearby in that they are all rooms facing exterior corridors.

Really great hotel. They offer a complimentary, hot buffet breakfast which includes bacon, waffles and eggs. Rooms were in great condition and we even got an upgrade to a larger, nicer room when we arrived for the night. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for renovations or work but other than that the place was nice!

Nice place to stay. We ran up and down the highway visiting all the waterfalls. Stayed here for nights. Went to Portland and Mt. Hood. Great place to stay.

Lovely property, nice amenities and a welcome retreat from the travels. I would highly recommend staying her. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Not the nicest Best Western but adequate. Breakfast room experience was not up to Best Western standards, food fine but service and attention to general cleanup not so good. Nice location on the harbor. I found the beds hard and my husband found them okay. Bit lacking in insulation of outside noise. We ate at the Pub Restaurant on the grounds. Nice salad bar but horrible clam chowder. I thought $13 for once through on soup and salad was a bit steep considering their wasn't even any bread and the soup was barely warm. It appeared that service was very slow for those few tables ordering off the menu.

We have stayed here several times. This place and staff have never let us down. Always top notch service. Awesome breakfast. Quiet rooms. 2 seconds from the harbor and beaches. Just love this BW.

We had a great experience with the hotel and the restaurant. Clean, great staff and accommodations. Oh, and the views from the room and restaurant you'll have to see yourself. Beautiful! The Sunday brunch was the best buffet we had ever been to and I mean it. The presentation, quantity of food, quality of food and staff were all outstanding. Simply amazing!

Used points to book our hotel and the person who took our reservation upgraded us to a King Suite! It was such a nice getaway for the weekend. Best Western is so great with their rewards, and their rooms are always decently nice. However, the bed we slept in seemed comfy, but I woke up stiff every morning. I don’t usually have that issue with their beds. Also and extra towel rack in the bathroom would have been nice.

Very nice room, 2 queens, very clean lrg TV everything very nice, even the patio. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options. Food was good. Nice place to stay. Need information on things to do?, the local visitors center extremely helpful.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was great. My only concern was the pillows were too firm for us. The continental breakfast was not what it's been but still OK. Will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The shower was large and enjoyable, and the breakfast was good. Enjoyed the dry sauna, and though the jacuzzi could have been warmer, it was still pleasant.

This is usually our first stop on our way to Washington, and have stayed here many times as well. They have enlarged the hotel within the last couple of years. Again, if you can stay in their suites as they are quite nice and very very roomy. Food is just a short drive down the street and they do hook u up with a nice on the house breakfast each day.

Lovely property with restaurant on site. The room was very comfortable, clean and seems to have been recently upgraded. Nice restaurant on site as well as next door. We choose to try the one next door, a bit disappointed, definitely will try the on site restaurant next stay as the reviews were very good. Good breakfast, attentive wait staff. Will plan to return.

This hotel was one of the most spacious Best Westerns I have ever stayed at. Our room was massive. It was an amazing room for a low price. We were a little disappointed that we missed breakfast because it ended at 9 and we showed up at 9:30. We were not informed of the breakfast hours when we checked in. There is a very good restaurant on the property which was very convenient. The jacuzzi and sauna were great. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the best pace to stay in Crecent City. The rooms are really clean and the staff is great. The one thing I would say is that the free breakfast is some thing to avoid. Next door there is a good place.

I recommend this motel to everyone. The employees were very pleasant, polite, professional and efficient, working as a team. Check in and check out was a breeze and he breakfast was very good. Nice place an quiet. I will be back.

This hotel is an elite and professional branch of the best Western hotels. The two story restaurant and bar was outstanding. The indoor gym pool sauna was fun. The rooms elite. This stay is a must.

Very satisfied with Best Western Crescent City. We were upgraded to a second floor room with a view toward the marina which was very nice. The inclusive breakfast was better than most hotels that offer 'free' breakfasts. Enjoyed our brief stay.

Very nice property. The decor and rooms were comfortable. We had a suite for the 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 kids. There was a kitchen in this room that we didn't need, but for an extended stay it would be useful. The breakfast was large to accommodate the size of the motel. The staff at breakfast seemed overwhelmed with trying to keep food items and utensils stocked. They may have been understaffed. The location of the motel is very good for sightseeing. We visited the Trees of Mystery as well as the Jedidiah Smith redwood park. There are other sights to see close by as well. A visit to the visitors center is advised. I thought the cost for the room was high, but that seems to be the case anymore. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the ares.

A very nice and pleasantly located hotel for both business and leisure. If you are exploring the redwood forest then this is the hotel for you and yours. Breakfast was above the norm for this type of hotel and the staff during breakfast was pleasant and efficient. Food items were varied and kept at appropriate temperatures. Front desk staff were very professional and dealt with minor items briskly.

Our stay was a last minute idea so getting a room was a plus. The room was clean. The parking lot needs to be bigger. The staff are great. We loved being right on 101. Right down the road from a great beach. I think our only complaint would be the price $200 with taxes a night was pretty high. But again we paid it because we didn't have many choices.

We are on a 2 week road trip from Wisconsin to Utah, Oregon, and stopping here at the best western on our way to the redwoods. Beautiful hotel with such friendly staff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette (7 adults, 1 child) and had plenty of room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the bathroom. It is one full bathroom so if someone is taking a shower or going to the bathroom they are the only one who can be in there. The breakfast was hot and really good, eggs, sausage, etc. Nice sized buffet with great friendly service. Overall I highly recommend this hotel near the Marina.

Very disappointed in the motel! We were on the second floor right by the stairs, so that was a drag hearing people stomping up and down, no fridge, no microwave, no phone and no internet either. Had to take my laptop down to the office and she showed me how to get internet which I had already done, as soon as I get back to the room, no internet and when I FINALLY got it, it was so slow, could not do any work from my lap top at all. Our room was so small and the carpet was filthy, so I wore socks every where when not in my shoes. I guess they did not like us. For $189 for one night, I expected a LOT more. We checked out and stayed our second night at the Bay View Inn, a LARGE CLEAN room, microwave, fridge, JACUZZI TUB, internet without having to add passwords and codes and the bonus is we got the room for $89! yeah! Guess where we are staying from now on?

Meh. The walls were very thin and it was too easy to hear outside noises. There was also to much light with various night lights (including one in the light switch itself), but not everyone wants to sleep in pitch blackness so I'll give them a pass on that one.

For a cheap night stop over you can't really beat Best Western. The room was clean and there was a free breakfast before we set off the next day.

In the Crescent City/Eureka area, this is a great value! And the staff is really nice. Even the so-callled "older" double room we booked was clean and nicely furnished with a mini fridge and bathroom with a tub! Even a partial water view. For about $130 (June 2016) we had a very comfortable night's sleep, fast Wi-Fi, and a full hot breakfast buffet — — all included!

The service is wonderful, very clean. Only complaints are room keys deactivating and small small toilet and bathroom. The location is nice, across from boats. Right next door is a really good restaurant.

I gave them a chance and they blew it. We stayed 3 nights here for Valentines weekend and specifically chose this place for the hot tub. We needed it for pain relief. The bed was hard, the hotel was inundated with teenage boys (our first night 30 of them, unsupervised, crowded into the pool and broke the hot tub). The next night we told them the hot tub wasn't working and they didn't listen. The third night we didn't even try because it wasn't fixed. Our fridge never worked which is an issue because we need to store medicine. The rooms on both sides of us were up until midnight and never really quieted. When we asked for a discount because of these things we got $40 back out of a $360 bill. $40 for leaving in more pain and frustration than we came to our vacation in. I have never been so frustrated with a hotel!

The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. They have an indoor heated pool and other amenities that I didn't have the chance to take advantage of. There is an average continental breakfast in the morning. A nice place to stop when passing through the redwoods.

New third floor room was awesome! Super comfy bed, really nice shower and still smells brand new. Pool and hot tub were ok, nothing speacial but clean. Free hot breakfast in the am was really good. Would for sure stay here again.

Super comfy room. Had only 1 room left was a suite but gave us a discount. The breakfest was great with potatoes meats eggs omelet fruits. Woukd deffinetly stay again. Recommended to anyone.

Called in to make a resorvation. The guy I talked to was a real nice man. Made me excited to stay. Got here. Lost our resorvation even though I called only three hours prior. The frontdesk ggentleman was so rude to us basically accused us of lying about making the resorvation then argued with me saying I didnt call the hotel directly. Which I called the local number not the 1800 number. Still being the rudest front desk clerk ever. Told us we had a nice view room only to be behind their wall next to the stairs. Talk about the worst service for the price. If he hates his job and cant do it well he needs to go find a new one. Only reason I stayed is its my sons birthday and we made a one night trip and he really wanted a hotel with a pool. Wont be coming back next time.

The BEST WESTERN PLUS Northwoods Inn really is a plus. I see there's some work right now going on outside the building as they're upgrading but I pay no attention to that as well it's always nice to see good maintenance taking place and upgrades taking place the lobby was nice clean the people were very helpful very helpful and had a sense of humor and I like that. The room I was in was the normal size and a roomie nice nice bed, nice pillows, refrigerator, the microwave, granite counters in the bathroom. A roomie bathroom I don't know maybe I got a handicap room but who knows. The table to work on with the computer was just fine the chair working at the computer table was excellent and that is a real plus as some places the chair is the downer of the room, but here it was a big positive. I did like this particular Best Western Plus and I would definitely return here. Good price good value, I like it.

We stay at best western 6-10 times a year, this one is below the bar, non working frig, dirty carpets in a old building, the breakfast was in a restaurant next door that was not good. 3 hour old pancacks, out of gravy. The customer service desk appeared not to care, This operation needs help.

So I decided to take a trip to Crescent City with my family and my friend. When I got there, we went into the lobby and started the process of checking in. My brother my friend and I went into the dining/computer area. On the computer was pictures of beautiful redwoods and nice scenery when suddenly a way too revealing picture of a woman holding open her gluteus-maximus cheeks. She was wearing no clothing and my 10 year old brother saw the picture. He, my friend and I will be scarred for life. When we brought it up to the management, all we got was 20% off of our next stay which was not a fair deal. We should have gotten a free night and an apology. Seeing porn in a hotel isn't appropriate and I hope to never see something so disgusting again. But otherwise the hotel experience was good. The rooms were nice and the hotel comes with a delicious free breakfast buffet.

Better than holiday inn and other top hotels. Priceline got this hotel for me for a good rate. U can't go wrong with this hotel. Stay here and u won't regret it. This just Off us101 and close to shops to run errands. Beds were super good and both the interior and exterior of the hotel looked very good and inviting.

The staff here is incredibly nice. They were quick to resolve issues and had a great attitude. Good breakfast and nice hot tub, sauna, pool area. Construction is a bit noisy at the moment.

Rooms are great but the building lacks proper insulation the unit above was you could hear everything they did it was very bad. The food next door was acceptable but highly overpriced $20 for a dinner with 5 shrimp, potato and cold veggies! I am finding in my travels along coast that everything everywhere in California is highly overpriced for getting a terrible product. I am sure if you stay here its fine but I would find other places for food than next door.

This motel was a disaster! Even though they posted a notice that their establishment was under construction it doesn't come close to describing what we encountered. If we had not made reservations well in advance and traveled a long distance (Both by car and plane) we would not have stayed. A parking place was nearly impossible to find, our entry way under the stairwell, construction materials were all over the place and we were still charged their normal rate. Never again.

Friendly staff, great room, clean, and quiet. Room included a minifridge and microwave. The restaurant next door was also very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast buffet was great — far better than the usual continental breakfast you get from a hotel. Would stay again.
