This is a no-frills hotel a few blocks from the beach an train station. There's a gas station, grocery store and bagel shop less the a five minute walk from the rooms. The rooms are clean, reasonably convenient and comfortable for the price. You can walk to the beach and train station.

I think for the amount they charge, they can atleast upgrade their bed situation and not such hard pillows. The stay is always nice tho. Ery pleasant people. So close to the beach as well!

The shower never got warm, this was 5am in the morning. Otherwise, clean and quaint. Free coffee in the morning and parking on premise.

Coming back to because it felt very like and very economic.

It was a cute little place right downtown so walkable to many places. Enjoyed staying here!

This place is perfect! It's adorable, and a real nice motel! At this price point, you are getting huge value for your dollar, the rooms are booked, work a small dining nook and a nice sized bathroom! And the room is set up with a little touch of character! For a holiday weekend, I would much rather stay at a place like this than a corporate motel, this place just had so much character! And a fire pit and grill outside with a dog year, and yes, pet friendly! Highly recommend!

Good but not great. The little things like the outlets being old and phone charger constantly falling out was a bit of a hassle. The room was clean and the people were friendly. The place is a bit older and starting to show it's age. Would I stay again? I would. Price was reasonable.

Wonderful little Motel on the "Kings Hwy". Clean. Great Hosts. Large rooms. Walking to food, shopping and the pier. Pets okay. Definitely will return for another beach getaway.

My husband and I have been two times and it was a nice lil place. No frils but clean and nice.

Always coming back to this hotel when we visit. First, as a girl, then to celebrate my enegagement and now with my own little family. I love it here. Clean, peaceful, quiet, close to everything.

The services we great! We had the suite and it came with the patio. The room had alittle kitchen and fridge. It was like 3 blocks from the beach.

I've stayed here twice and loved it both times. The motel is dog friendly which is the reason why I chose it. The staff are really chill and the rooms are comfortable and cozy with ocean themed decorations. This motel is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the ocean and located amongst local shops. Overall I would happily come a 3rd time.

Place is awesome for what it is. Good location, walking distance to the beach. Right next to an amazing Bagel Shop!

Set your expectations for a no frills, personally owned and run motel and you will love this place! Great location just a 15 minute walk to the beach, another 15 minutes north to an outlet mall, a short drive to everything you need for a frugal, comfortable stay! We were attending an event at Casa Romantica, a 10 minute walk (mind the lack of sidewalks) and decided to extend our stay to explore San Clemente and San Diego. We walked/ran on the beach every morning and there were some great trails in some conservation/preservation land to the north, don't mind the construction. We went grocery shopping and used the little (3cu ft) fridge and microwave for meals and just generally enjoyed using the PBM as our home base!

Cool little place. Everything is close by. Wiil stay there again!

We absolutely love this motel! And Kate the manager is great! Big spacious rooms, fire pit, bbq, everything you need in walking distance.

We spent 2 nights here and we had all we need. The owners are so kind! The motel is close to the beach and restaurants. We will come again on our next trip to California… ;-)

We stayed 2 days during the week and have to say it was the best experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and large. We brought our Dog and loved every minute. Would recommend to all for this area. Rates were spot on near all you need especially if you Surf Sano.

Cozy place with access to key locations.

I just spent last weekend at this motel and absolutely loved it! My boyfriend and I had the most fantastic time and the suite with our own patio was fabulous. It was right in the center of town and we walked everywhere! I would definitely recommend this motel to others and would love to go back for another visit!

Dirty Room, Shredded Towels,, Noise during off season. Never a manager on duty if you need help complain. Very limited Parking. Stayed there 2 long Days and Nights in February.

This place was a great place to stay. Its walking distance to the beach, bars/restaurants, grocery store, and pretty much everything. For the being a pretty inexpensive place I was happy with the service and how nice the rooms were. The staff was really nice and helped answer any questions and they also have a little fire pit area with a barbecue and a lot of seating. The only things I would change and its not even a big deal was 1) I wish the TVs were a little bigger (Thats jut me being greedy I guess) and 2) The finishing touches on the room I was in (bathroom door wouldnt close and there was a utility closet in our room). Other than those 2 things the place was perfect and I would definitely do back.

This is an adorable little hotel with a very nice office worker, spacious rooms, comfy beds, patio area, & free coffee in the morning! Great price & we can see the ocean from our room too! Conveniently located near a coffee shop, bagel shop, burger joint, grocery store, and bars! Definitely recommend it!

Had a real great time in San Clemente with el and my cousins. Will go back would love to try my cousins nephews other hotels in the states hint hint lol.

An awesome little motel! Close to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and freeway. The owners are very kind:) The King Suite is amazing! We have our own little private patio with tiki torches, bbq, fire pit, and patio furniture. Everything is in excellent condition. It also comes with a full kitchen stocked with everything you need. It has a very homey relaxing feel to it and the rooms are very modern! We love our stay here and will definitely be back a lot more!

This place is awesome. You like a kick back relax place and chill then this is the place to be.

What a beautifully quaint place to stay! From my first call to my tenth call, (yes, ten times lol) Jed took care of me the whole way through. He didnt even get offended when I asked him "Jed, be honest with me, I can take it, is this place a dive? " He took it like a champ and responded honestly! Its an older motel that he has been renovating step by step. And he was 100% correct, the motel is perfectly matched to the rest of San Clemente. Its old world charm meets a bit of modern day technology. The customer service can speak volumes for any place. From the beginning of our weeks stay, to the end, Jed and his staff were MORE than accommodating. This includes, name change, room change, addition and cancels of rooms (family wedding), to bringing us blankets and pillows late in the night to accommodate my kids. We will be back to stay. Beautiful town, beautiful place to stay, great people and amazing food.
