Great place, got it last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice rooms and close to the beach and local nightlife!

Rooms looked nice but the bed was so squicky and uncomfortable. Any move you made the whole world would hear. Not to mention the other people in the hotel were loud and running up and down the halls.

This is their second time staying there, and it's family-owned… Some of which are not the happiest of people… But very confident very efficient… And the rooms are very very very comfortable their newly decorated very clean, and will maintain… Just a very cozy feel… I'm very close too many things including the beach definitely stay there again!

Front desk dude was helpful and the room was perfect for the price. Roomy with a couch that had a pull out bed.

Nice quiet place with rooms that offer sitting area with couch, chairs and sleeping area with TV and area for heating up and eating food. Clean and we'll kept, its parking area in very tight quarters would not be suitable for large vehicle.

Parking is close, Room was clean and roomy, tub-shower is large and water pressure is good, bed was not very comfortable with only a sheet and a very then spread. I had to put a sweatshirt in the middle of the night. I would have ask for another blanket but it was to late. Over all good bang for the buck.

This hotel is good for when you're looking for somewhere to sleep off your drunken night or an awesome new years eve. However the front office has a strange smell also when you get to the 2nd floor there's a strange smell coming from one of the rooms where the owner lives. Not saying it's a bad smell but it smells like curry and it's not my favorite. When it comes to the bed I find my rack in the military more comfortable then sleeping on that hot piece of f****** cardboard. The mattress itself feels like it was dipped in starch and dried stiff as f***. I'd rather have a stiff f****** drink then that stiff f****** mattress. Otherwise the price was decent for just somewhere to sleep my New Year's Eve off. So if you're looking for a hard f****** mattress with decent prices and some curry filled smell in hallways this is the place for you.

My room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was ok, not the best. I had a mini fridge, microwave. Its in a good location and inexpensive. I was there 2 nights.

Overall, good for a motel. Good value considering location near tourist area. Not very accommodating regarding late checkout, said they were full but then let me pay for another night, so obviously not full. There is a nice sized mini fridge and a microwave in the bedroom. Small HD TV in bedroom, none in lounge. Should be in both or in lounge in my opinion. Bedroom is separate from lounge which has a small sofa, coffee table, and dining table with 2 chairs. Complimentary bathroom things are very low quality. Room was clean, water pressure good, and bed comfortable. No pens or paper pads. Restaraunt next door very good. Getting to San Clemente pier and T beach is walkable or a quick Uber ride. Laundry is across the street. Only blackout curtains, no liner, so curtains must be drawn at all times unless you want strangers seeing everything you do.

Room is dated and needs improvment. Nothing spectacular, but a good bargin room. Relatively clean aside from hair on the bathroom floor. The front desk clerk clearly didnt want to be there was was unimpressed we wanted to check in. Dont expect a bath because they plugged (crudely) the water jets and put up a sign saying no baths or the room will flood. Bed was low quality. Would I stay here again? Probably because it was cheap.

This property is located in proximity to the 5 freeway in San Clemente on the North Side, adjacent to it is located Hapa J's a Hawaiian restaurant. Hapa J's have good delicious fresh food. The office for the Inn is located downstairs, the staff is promt in responding but a little too dry and brief in dealing with guests for any questions. Check out is at 11:00 am and adhered to. The good news is the rooms are nice, when I booked I got a den with a couch and sit down dinette table for 2. The bedroom was decent size with a comfortable bed. The bathrooms were clean and the amenities and decorations were fine. The price paid for such a unit was decent, definitely a place to stay upon your visit to San Clemente.

100% the most awful hotel experience I've had. The rooms aren't totally awful, but the staff definitely earns the bad reviews. Manager (who lives in the hotel) is extremely rude and creepy, will watch you ALL THE TIME. Maid service decided to ignore the do not disturb sign, come into our room without knocking, looked at us and then left. The entire staff is really strange, and acts quite suspicious.

I have got to say that this is the worst hotel I've stayed in in about 20 years we arrived late in the evening and for some reason I had a feeling somebody was standing outside my door. When I open the window blinds there was the guy who owns the hotel standing there listening closely to my door and acting super creepy. When he saw me looking he ran back to the other side of the hotel where him and his family lived Two Doors Down. The next morning we had the do not disturb sign and since we were staying for two days we figured that we were not going to be bothered but they knocked on the door disturbed us any.

Hands down the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever been in in my entire life. You could eat off the floor. The front desk I was terrible but I give it 5 stars because it was so clean and the rooms are really nicely updated flat screen TVs really huge shower a really nice hotel actually I was impressed, budget-friendly prices. Century Located middle of San Clemente across the street there is a really Good Cafe called "Pipes"

Worth every cent paid! Room was clean, sorta 80's but clean and neat. Smelled good and was well stocked. Breakfast was a basic continental with no frills. Front desk staff was excellent. The only things I didn't appreciate was the "hidden until check out" funny tax and safe charge. Not a big deal but $7 that sorta slips up on you.

This hotel is okay. Very basic. It was frustrating to have staff knock on our door to clean our room and they didn't speak any English. They had to get a second person who still only spoke Spanish. The best feature of the hotel is being only one block from Surfin Donuts.

There rooms are incredibly small, some are even incomplete I. E. To TV or tea table or microwave/refrigerator etc… Staff was very rude and wouldn't give us the opportunity to explain a situation that happened and instead gave us two options pay $200 extra or caryy the huge amount of stuff back out of the room wd just got it into.

No frill motel. No breakfast but coffee in lobby. Ok price for the area. Close to beach and some shopping.

I can't speak for the other people's experiences but my room was clean and updated and decorated tastefully with updated refrigerator, microwave, TV and blow dryer compared to other hotels in the area that I had stayed at a better price compared to the same accommodations. I live here in San Clemente and my home was being renovated so I needed a place to stay for a couple weeks. I stayed at 4 different places under $100 a night and this place was one of the best. Little Innby the Sea was good too, the 2 worst were The Inn at Calafia and the absolutely worst for the price was Oceana Boutique Hotel. What a dump!

It was terrible I get there an they give me my key an my ride that dropped me off wanted to make sure everything was ok an came in for a min an was going to leave before he gets to my room the guy working there is like go back to the office an were going to kick me out I wasn't doing anything wrong or even having anyone come by im over this place they have poor customer service skills they need to go back to there country dont recommend this place at all horrible.

Most disgusting, repulsive place I have ever been to walked in and walked right back out, and was refused a refund. A horrible establishment, stop on by here if you would like to acquire an std, tb, bed bugs, scabies, any and all of that good stuff. Put it this way its such a classy establishment people actually live there, they rent the rooms out for people to live in not like someone on a week or t weeks long vacation actually staying there got their own dressers food, throw rugs dishes all over the place rough scene. Not to mention ever room is essentially a smoking room good luck with non smoking horrible service unfriendly staff, people were working on their cars, painting their cars in the guest parking area, just an all around bad experience.
