Nice, clean motel convenient to shops. Staff always friendly. Bathroom a little dirty last visit, manager was going to address with cleaning staff. I will return.

On a recent two week trip in Arizona we stayed in the Sedona Motel partly because of its moderate cost but mainly because of its proximity to Tlaquepaque where the popular Día de Muertos (Day-of –the-dead) festival was to take place. The hotel lobby was being renovated, but the rooms were finished. Ours had a queen sized bed, microwave and fridge. It was spacious and very comfortable. There was a lovely covered patio at the end of the motel where one could sit and look out at the Sedona red rocks and enjoy a quiet read and drink. There are several restaurants and gift shops within walking distance, and Tlaquepaque (a recreated Mexican Marketplace) was a short five minute walk away. There was a liquor store just across the very busy main street and there are grocery stores a short drive away. The street is extremely busy during the day and almost impossible to cross, however, there are roundabouts within easy walking distance either way from the motel where it is safe to cross, or change direction if you’re driving. We would definitely stay at the Sedona Motel again.

Location location location! Every room with a view from bed of the red rocks, excellent coffee house across the street with views, of course, fresh interior, really lovely organic bath products. Wonderful staff and very, very clean! Such a treat.

Great place to stay while you are in Sedona. Centrally located, the name "motel" may throw you off, but it really has nice amenities. Newly renovated rooms are there, and the new lobby/office is also quite a bit more modern. The parking is right in front of the room, like a traditional motel, but the rooms are well furnished. The shower temperature is good but water pressure for the showerhead is on the weaker side.

We are here right now and we are sure that we are very lucky to get this place. Very stylish and comfortable room, refrigirator, coffe machine, Tv, air conditioner… very clean property and friendly stuff. Located in the very heart of Sedona and we feel like being in a 4 star hotel.

Walking distance from a lot of great places. Staff was friendly and rooms were nice! If You're in the shower when your neighbor flushes their toilet or decides to shower, the water gets cold.

The views are spectacular! The rooms have been updated and remodeled, and very nicely done. Within walking distance to many very nice places to eat and Shop.

Old place with brand new charm. Awesome place with awesome views. Close to everything including downtown Sedona.

Even though this place was under a pretty major renovation project, we really enjoyed our stay. Practically had the whole place to ourselves. Cleaning staff was top notch. Hotel rooms were very clean and modern. The hidden patio area on the far left side has a beautiful view and offers some nice seclusion. Motel located minutes away from everything. Will stay there again!

Excellent value for stay. Clean and renovated rooms. Don't let the motel name steer you wrong, it's definitely worth the money. Being close to the Y is also convenient.

Great place to stay in sedona on a budget. Rooms are clean, comfy beds, excellent view on community patio, but no more than a 3star motel.

Red rock views right from bed! Quiet rooms, fridge and microwave which is a plus. Room was clean.

Clean room and quite spacious. Great for couples and families going to Sedona for vacation. However, if you want to use the Wi-Fi for work then good luck! I tried million times, even different ways other than what they wrote on the paper (after tried typing in the password they gave me for 40min with no luck! ), to keep getting the message "incorrect password", or the Wi-Fi didn't even show up! Called the office and they said they will reboost it. Tried again an hour later and still not working. I gave up and had to use my Wi-Fi hotspot. Of course I couldn't watch Netflix on my limited data. It's a beautiful town but they have to understand there are people who go there for work too, and if they offer Wi-Fi then the Wi-Fi should work.

Awesome place to stay in Sedona. Neat old-school motel with recently renovated rooms. Quiet and very clean, great location near uptown and shopping. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Love the view and the chairs outside of rooms!

I stayed at the Sedona Motel on 3/29/17. This place is newly and beautifully renovated, and in a central location in Sedona, close to restaurants, shops, and touring companies. Sadly, I was only there for one night, but would definitely book there again if I ever find myself back in Sedona. Also, since it was a stop on a bigger road trip, I got in late, but the staff was great in making sure I had what I needed when I did arrive. You can't beat the rate, quality, and service. And you get to support a local family business. Book it.

We had a couple of spare days to kill after a trip of a lifetime to the Grand Canyon. My mom and her friends had been to Sedona a few times, and while it didn't really sound like our cup of tea, we thought we'd check it out. Mom recommended the Sedona Motel. I called to make our reservation, and the guy who took care of me over the phone was very nice, efficient, and friendly. When we arrived, he gave us a choice of rooms, as it seems like it was not their busy season (mid-January). We picked the room on the far end right next to the patio. The view, of course, was wonderful. We also enjoyed making our coffee in the room in the morning and enjoying it out on the patio (or a beer on the patio in the evening). The room was clean, and the fixtures all functioned well. The guys in the office (I'm not sure if one or both of them were the owners) were also very helpful in directing us to their favorite places to hike around Sedona. They also have the fastest Wi-Fi I've ever seen in a public place. As soon as I connected my iPad, I noticed I had nine apps to update; they were downloaded and uploaded quicker than they would have been in my home. We'll be back!

This location is incredible with the amazing views and the close proximity to walk to shopping and dining. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in helping us to figure out what to do in the area and where to go. Will definitely be staying there on our annual trips to Sedona. We slept well in our quiet comfortable room.

I took my wife and two young children to this motel. The room next to ours had a couple of guys and a prostitute getting drunk. The disgusting and perverted noises were enough to make us sick — and this continued off and on for hours. This was not the place for two kids under 4 or anybody with self-decency for that matter. We tried calling the front office and going down to it but nobody was there to help us. My wife addressed the disturbing issue at check-out. The owner kept making excuses and justifications. There was no credit or even apology offered. My wife continued to press how unacceptable it was (and embarrassingly had to do this in front of another guest) — with an issue this serious there should have been no grief given. All the owner offered was to stay again for one more night but this time on him. We felt it extremely unprofessional how he dealt with an issue of this nature. We declined his offer — there was no way we would ever stay another night at this establishment. It's a shame we had such an experience. It seems people spoke quite highly of the previous owners, it seems it is not being run to the same caliber as it once was. Be forewarned especially if traveling with children. We also found the motel to be overpriced for how outdated it was. Maybe some rooms have been renovated but ours clearly was not.
