Biggest issue? BUGS. Whether they are bed bugs, fleas, “no-see-ums”, or mosquitoes — BEWARE. My husband’s feet and legs are covered in bites (I seemed to fare slightly better as I slept in socks). I’ve read a fair few reviews recently with guests claiming to have been bitten while staying here, only to be met by rude excuses by management in the replies. My suggestion to this hotel, if your hired exterminator says there are no bugs — HIRE SOMEONE ELSE. Too many independent reports of bug bites for this to be a coincidence… Overpriced for what it is, but being in Sedona that’s to be expected. Pet friendly, but I wouldn’t stay here as a non-pet owner. There was a distinct foot/dog/damp smell in the whole place, especially in the room. Families with lots of rowdy kids stay here, so if you’re looking for peace and quiet — splurge for the resort hotel instead of this one. No microwave and room wasn’t cleaned well between guests. We found a pair of socks in the middle of the room when we arrived. The plumbing in the bathrooms isn’t great, and you can hear loud knocking sounds from pipes. A/C worked well, but was stuck on 69 so we were chilly at night. The A/C was very loud, but did well to drown out the dogs, kids, and loud pipes. The balcony with a view was nice, but be aware that your view of the red rocks will be accompanied by views of the parking lot and surrounding trees (if you manage to book a room facing the right direction…) I would not stay at this hotel again.

Great rooms! Comfortable and clean. The dog park area is great as is the outdoor patio area. I would go back in a heartbeat. A lot of hotels say they are pet friendly, but this one really is.

Sooo expensive! We paid $370 for one night & 2 tiny double beds. Air conditioner went off every 30 minutes — all night long and sounded like jet engine going off. Filthy bathroom. Filthy elevator. Breakfast is cellophane wrapped pastries from 7-11. Don't be fooled by pictures!

Quick check in, great location. Fair price for the area. The room was clean. Pool area was clean and well kept. Would stay again.

We chose the Andante Inn, and booked through Trip. Com for a lesser priced option in Sedona (where most things are pretty expensive). I was concerned it would be pretty shabby; but it was actually a great experience! Although the rooms are fairly small; we were able to get a Roll-away-bed (had to really squeeze it in! )! I was surprised that we had a cute balcony with a decent enough view of some red rocks off in the distance!
Parking was plentiful and easy. The lobby staff was helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was brown bag, due to Covid. The location was great, Gas/Grocery/McD's, and even a few restaurants VERY nearby! We were very pleased, and would stay here again! NOTHING fancy, but was clean and comfortable after long days hiking!

Staff not considerate to families at all. The location and views of this hotel are lovely. What we did not realize was how NOT family friendly it would be. We had phone calls and visits from staff telling us people were complaining of our children running up and down the hallway. Mind you, they were not and no one cared to complain about the drunk girls wailing all night, the live band outside the rooms on the front of the hotel { which I would like to add I enjoy. It was off by 10 and we don’t usually get to go enjoy a good live band } nor the couples drinking and laughing all night. It’s just easier to blame it on the kids I’m guessing. We personally did not complain because people are enjoying their time in Sedona and that made us happy to hear. Unfortunately just the sight of children bothered others. Hotel staff was disrespectful and never asked us about the situation. At one point someone down the hall came knocking and said they were calling the lobby because our kids were running down the hall. At this time we were sitting watching a movie together in bed while sharing a slice of birthday cake in peace, soaking up the good vibes from the day. We explained to the fellow guest this and he yelled at us saying he’s calling anyways. Staff once again, never asked us about any of this, nor would they listen when we tried to explain that nothing of the sort was happening. We were scolded and spirits broken down.

I have stayed at over 100 hotels and the Andante Inn is one if the best I've had the pleasure to experience. I will return to this hotel every single time I visit Sedona, AZ from now on.

Nice rooms, clean rooms…

Just stayed here last weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. We arrived in Sedona earlier that expected, and tried to see if we could check in. The wonderfully kind ladies at the front desk said a room wasn't available yet because they have a late check out. Which was understandable, so she would call when a room was ready. This gave us a chance to do a little shopping down the main Sedona strip. Location was great, especially since we were headed to Jerome that evening. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was great! I did have to play with the new air conditioning a bit to get the tem right. I loved that the rooms have balconies! It gave such a breathtaking view at sunrise. Breakfast was decent and overall it was a great stay! Will stay here again!

Wonderful Stay and Great Staff "Always enjoy my stay at Andante. Stayed in king deluxe suite very nice room with gorgeous view. As usual balcony was the plus point, sitting outside and enjoy the evening. There’s bar next to the hotel with live music. Had issue with the Tv and desk lights — thanks to Philip who came right away to fix the issue. The girl who check me in I think her name was Amber gave me lots of information about hiking trails. Thanks to both of them for making my stay wonderful and enjoyable Will be coming again:-) "

I can’t say enough about this hotel! The rooms are fairly average, but the view, the surroundings, the staff, and the breakfast made our stay phenomenal! Gorgeous views from our room, live music in the evenings that you can hear from the pool and the fire pit, staff that went completely out of their way to recognize my son on his birthday, and breakfast that included more healthy choices than I’ve ever seen at a hotel’s complimentary breakfast buffet — all at a reasonable rate — make the Andante Inn a great choice in Sedona!

Poor customer service. Rooms smell like dirty rags. They don't have 24hr maintenance so if something is not working properly you'll be forced to put up with it until the next day if maintenance comes around to it. They will not go out of their way to accommodate you. Air conditioner in rooms do not cool so rooms get really hot. There's a bar on front of the hotel that gets really loud at night until late so it's hard to rest. Totally not worth the $361 we paid. Will never be back again.

Is all you need, is clean, good breakfast and nice nice staff.

The balconies. We have stayed here before and this year we have balconies. It’s so nice to sit out and watch the sunset on the mountains. The view is beautiful.

Nice room, pet friendly and has it's own fenced in dog park, beautiful landscaping, walkable to many restaurants.

It was a nice place & of course the scenery. Nice comfortable beds.

Convenient location for doing our out door activity's. Good location for restaurants n gas station. And very cozy and comfortable.

Not a bad place to stay for the night, I had a reasonable deal for booking last minute. The only problems I had were noises. The AC is this large wall mounted unit that blasted all night at regular intervals, and for some reason two doors down, people thought it was a good idea to blast music and have a full on conversation at 11-12pm at night while we were sleeping on the patio outside. Other than that, beds were comfortable and well made, and overall decent customer service.

Not a bad hotel for tourists that aren't going to spend much time in their rooms. The rooms are kind of small. Our shower had hair in it and was not clean when we arrived. Staff was not friendly besides the maintenance man he was very friendly, by far the friendliest employee we encountered.

Room layout was okay, however AC unit wasn't very cold and did not come down room very well. Breakfast was very basic, no hot buffet like other hotels over than pancake maker. Hotel was in Area in West Sedona so it was not very busy, loud outside which was a positive. Pool was small but adequate.

Awful. Stale odor in hallway and room. Fire impairment warning posted on door and front desk said nothing about it. Then… bedbugs. It pays to open the linen on the bed. We left immediately. Yikes. Inn of Sedona resort. Nice. T.

The Andante Inn is a wonderful small hotel. I have stayed at the Andante several times in the past year and I love it. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the rates are very reasonable. The staff is super friendly and always accommodating. I have had to make some last minute changes and they are always very helpful and flexible. The location is my favorite part as West Sedona is absolutely beautiful. The views are fantastic, amazing trails, restaurants, great grocery stores and shopping that are off the main strip. I highly recommend! I will be back this fall.

Have stayed here on several occasions. First couple times were excellent. Last visit, the room was very moist. Not sure why. Good other than that. However right now I am laying in the bed & I’m 99% sure the sheets are dirty. Pillow case had a smear all over it & the sheets are very wrinkled & have fresh looking stains. Grossed out & not sure what to do. It’s 11:30PM. Everything else was good, just dirty sheets & moist are my complaints. You get what you pay for.

The room was clean. Beds are comfy. Staff is friendly. The pool is questionable, cloudy.

I wouldn’t even give this place a star. We got a room on the 16th at 5am and paid to stay till the 17th and during our stay we realized they were under construction and the rooms were in much needed work the a/c was loud throughout the night, the towel in the bathroom was dirty when we walked in. At 10 am they started cleaning making a ton of noise. At 1:30pm we get a call saying we were suppose to check out at 11am but they gave us until 1 but since they didn’t tell us that and we didn’t know that because we paid to stay until the 17th we were given until 2pm. The front desk lady was super rude not just to me but to the other people checking in. So we paid $170 for a room for 8 hours even tho we asked for it the 16th-17th and I checked the receipt after the fact but it still said our check out time was until 430pm that day so they kicked us out early but charged us for a two day stay. Even the guy that checked us in said we had the room until the next morning. I’m pissed and annoyed and this ruined our trip in Sedona we had to cut our trip early because we didn’t want to spend another $100+ dollars on another hotel.

This place is horrible we came in at 430 in the morning spent 170 to stay the early morning until the next night sure we probably came a bit early but they kicked us out after less 10 hours of being there dont spend your money here the rooms are barely holding together everything in under construction the maid start there day far to early and they wont match online offers.

Bike-friendly room at ground level. King bed room had plenty of space. Can do a load of laundry for 3 bucks for longer stays enjoying the trails of Sedona. The included breakfast was good enough to fuel you up for any and all outside adventures.

It was nice and tidy. The rooms were spacious. I nnmnn paid extra for a view but it wasn't much of a view. The pool was really cold but expected for an early season. They were doing construction which was messy and loud. I definitely did not think it was worth the price but was not a terrible place and hopefully will be better after the remodel.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast good, just all this plastictrash for breakfast is unbelievable. Why is it not possible to have real cups and plates.

Rooms being updated. They are adding balcony. Room was acceptable not more. Clean room but old. Nice towels. Ceiling tiles really dirty. Needs new carpet. Bot on Groupon but it was nor mentioned noisy work from 9am to 5pm.

The bedrooms are nice, lots of pillows, bed was comfy, blankets were warm. Heater worked well, couldn't tell you if the A. C. Worked or not. Parking near the rooms is VERY minimal. They are doing construction and it is taking up quite a few parking spots as well. The breakfast is your usual continental — cereals, yogurts, milk, coffee, etc.

We actually didn’t even finish our stay here. The construction unaware about last from as early at 8-6 everyday right outside our window. Woke up seriously to the workers saying “everyone is about to get a wake up call” and laughing. Originally booked the hotel because it was so pet friendly owner said could t even leave the dogs kenneled in the room for dinner. Had to end up boarding the dogs just so we could one of the challenging hikes they couldn’t make it on and to be able to go eat our dinner. Walls were paper thin extremely loud and the floors were dirty had to wear flip flops the whole time.

Andante Inn is Beyond the artsy part of town on a busy strip of Highway 89. At check-in service was friendly and efficient. Our rooms were fresh clean and updated. The bathroom was thoughtful with anti-slip strips in the tub, a curved shower rod with a see-through window which let in plenty of light, and storage shelves below the sink. Breakfast, which was included, consisted of a choice of oatmeal, cereal, pancakes, fruit and yogurt. Milk and Juice were also available as well as toast, bagels, and English muffins. The Inn has very competitive rates for the market. Given the friendly service and the thoughtful comfy fresh & clean accommodations I would definitely stay here again. Very pleased with the stay and service.

I stayed here for 3 nights. Overall the stay was nice. The rooms were clean. The service was good. My only complaint was the smell of the room. Very time a walked in it smelled funky. We ended up airing it out each time we walked in. The free breakfast was nice to have, but very simple breakfast. Nothing fancy.

The room was very clean, and right outside the building were amazing views. I loved that they used a refillable dispenser for the shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of wasteful bottles. The area was very scenic, and had any amenities you may need. Breakfast included cereal, pancakes, oatmeal, biscuits&gravy, and coffee or orange juice.

Nice and clean rooms although a little small. Breakfast is typical for a hotel but good.

This is s great place to stay, new, very clean, great location, comfortable beds, very nice staff, breakfast included. Pet friendly with nice grassy area. Very well rated yelp restaurant infront. There was also a wine bar next door with outside seating with guy singing and playing guitar to mixed music, guy was excellent. Not a regular player. U could hear him softly from the grassy pet area and sit on a picnic table and watch few people dance while he sang. Back to hotel now. Pool was very clean with towels and shaded area. Honestly of your not going to be staying at a resort this to me is the nicest place to stay. I got a great rate from Expedia for about $82 total which was so worth it. For the maids who helped me search for my little Maltese, I was in shear panic, funny enough she was in the room, guess the only place she could have been was under the dresser type sink which was very low. Thank you to the wonderful maid's who really cared and help in the room by room search. All for nothing but so greatly appreciated for their assistance. Will be back for sure. Thank you!

Check in was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel was clean and updated. Would recommend staying here if you are in Sedona.

We had a great stay at Adante Inn! Great location with lots of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Great views and close to sight seeing. We spent two night and had our dog with us. They put us on first floor next to entrance for quick potty runs. Hotel was quiet and clean. Staff was helpful and awesome! One suggestion is that they have snacks in vending machines and not just sodas… We were very happy with rates and will definitely stay here again in future.

As I walked in… there was another couple checking in too. They were got to choose which floor they wanted… and they got settled in at 1pm I would say… so I asked if I could have the 1st floor… for my mom's convince. "they said no"… "yours it's not available only in the 3rd floor but we do have elevator". So I said ok that's good… but I could get in either because it wasn't available until 3… I did asked why … they just said it's not ready it's available until 3pm… that made me not liked as much as I wanted. Sedona is beautiful. … and really at the rate that I ended up paying… I didn't like the breakfast either… for that nightly rate… continental breakfast is not good… but other than that I did get to check in at 2:40pm.

The check in was very fast and easy, the Clerk was friendly and got us to our room quickly the continental breakfast was not the best but it was just fine for me and my familythank you super eight.

This is a great affordable place to stay in the otherwise expensive area of Sedona. Hotel was super clean with all the usual amenities. One big win for us was that it is dog friendly with a 25 dollar fee. It is close to everything you may need, restaurants, grocery, and cafes. Only 5 minutes from the heart of downtown Sedona. Again this is a great dog friendly and affordable place.

Pretty nice and clean. Thin walls were unfortunate in the mornings. Front desk service was super fast and friendly.

Good location, good service, Wi-Fi was a little slow but overall okay. Rooms are nice and clean, we had no problems during our stay.

This hotel changed my mind about super 8! Very friendly desk clerk and helpful recommended restaurants to us and was spot on! Accomidated all of our needs beds are comfortable. Will definitely reccomend!

Clean room, decent last minute price. Not a luxury hotel, and bathroom could use an upgrade. But for the price its not bad and I would probably stay again.

Good but not great but a good value for the budget. It's not in the heart of things but it is in walking distance of several restaurants and convenience stores.

This Super 8 will change the way you think about Super 8 motels. This property was clean and attractive. Our room with two double beds, a 32" Samsung HDTV, mini-fridge and microwave was very nice. I have stayed in Comfort Inn Suites, Marriott Suites, Ramada Inns — and none can hold a candle to this Super 8. The front desk staff was professional, pleasant and helpful. If the wonderful continental breakfast isn't enough for you, the convenient on-site Golden Goose Cafe and Bistro has a lovely ambiance with friendly staff and food to match! I will drive 111 miles to visit Sedona many more times and I will stay at the Sedona Super 8.

Great place to stay and relax.

The room was nice, clean and cozy. The people at the front desk were also very helpful and friendly. There were a handful of things within walking distance too, very handy.

Rainy days in Sedona did not slow us down from having a wonderful stay. In fact the mist rolling over the Red Rock Mountains was breathtaking and the trails were peaceful and close. Definitely worth the money. Thank you Nick at the front desk, your suggestion was perfect for dinner.

This place was great for the price. It's a Super 8 so don't expect resort style rooms but to sleep in it's fine. Was in Sedona for hiking so didn't spend much time in the room but for sleeping room was quite. The breakfast in the morning I would say is better then must places I've been. They offer good selection of yogurts and both Special K and Frosted Flakes. If you are looking for a place to crash at night this place is it. Close to food places as well.

We just stayed here at the Super 8 for 3 Nights while we were in Sedona for a wedding. It was 100 bucks a night and for the area, I dont think you could beat it. The service of the front desk employees was great, we had our German Shepherd with us and they accepted her with no questions asked. The rooms were clean. By no means were they fancy, but they were good enough for the little amount of time we were in there. If your on a budget, I would recommend giving this place a shot. I give it a thumbs up.

Stayed 3 days — fine, but accidentally double booked the first night. The Owner is a real jerk not to refund a satisfied customer — even if it was the customer's mistake. I told him, "In my business the customer is always right. " I don't think that's so in his. My advice, don't be his customer.

Surprisingly good motel in expensive Sedona. One of the cheapest options for staying in this town. Clean rooms, excellent service. The "continental breakfast" included with the room is a little sad though. Also, pet-friendly hotel.
