Nice clean place. Locating the office was a bit confusing but everything else was great. I would definitely stay here again.

I wouldn't call this a 5 star hotel by any means but it's a pretty nice place to stay. Bed is fairly comfortable and the couch has a pull out bed as well. The kitchen is nice and has all the supply's needed for cooking.

Cute, homey place. Perfect and comfortable for the stay. Fantastic staff as well. Will stay again!

5 stars because it is so clean and nice. It's no frills, not a luxury suite, but a full kitchen and full size frig/freezer, stove, sink, coffee maker with coffee supplied. Beds are made for you freshly every day. Super nice stay — — especially since the price is so low! I would definitely stay here again.

We have been very happy with our stay both times. Quiet, inexpensive and everything wee needed.

Small hotel in a quiet area is Wasilla. It's a little tricky to get to, you have to take a "back road" as there is no driveway straight off the main road. The room was nice, and the building was peaceful the night we stayed. I would recommend this place if you don't need all the fancy bells and whistles, and just need a simple place for a night or even a longer stay. They had Wi-Fi included with your room rental, and a small kitchen area including a fridge, microwave, a small stove and a sink.

Nice room with kitchenet, quiet surroundings, this is not a big hotel and is calm and quiet most of the time.

Very noisy by busy highway. No heat in room, office stated heat not working in entire building but didn't offer a portable heater until I complained about the cold. Location is poor, no restaurants or entertainment nearby. Very expensive for what is offered. Office is a room in middle of hallway. Would never stay here again for the high price. Very odd place.

Comfy, quiet, and just far enough to stay away from high traffic areas but close enough to town to get your business done.

Wonderful friendly staff and spacious rooms our stay here was comfortable and relaxing despite being fully booked it was very quiet and everyone went out of their way to make is feel welcome and make the stay thoroughly enjoyable!

Just had a moose walk up behind us in the parking lot We are blessed Room was clean and amenities adequate. No restaurant. Wi Fi provided. TV flat screen. Easy to find. Would return.

Plus: 1. Nice and clean. Good kitchenette. 2. Staff courteous and helpful. Mac made arrangements for off-hour check in and provided all required details to check-in 3. Parking was swift and convenient. Minus: 1. Off the main road — about 2 mile drive from AK-3 2. Could hear the road traffic which was a bit annoying and disturbing for sleep 3. Bed had no headboard and pillows kept falling off in the gap 4. Can appear a bit cramped due to the small area. Recommended for staying as positives largely out weight the minor annoyances.

Enjoyed the stay. Appears to be a converted efficiency apartment. A bit different as it seems to be a family-operated enterprise, so no 24zhour desk staff etc. Clean and friendly. Had a second bed in a second bedroom, but no air conditioning in the adjoining room. Got a bit warm in that room. Still a nice, clean and friendly place to stay.

The accessible rooms are NOT accessible at all. I was quite dissatisfied and disturbed that they advertised as such. I pointed out all the issues that needed addressed and will be checking to see if anything is changed. The people who worked there were nice.

Charged to much for a suite and there is only one TV in a room when there is two rooms.

For a single queen bed room for 179/night there were no amenities besides shampoo/conditioner and a body bar soap with instant coffee mix. There were no toothbrushes available with toothpaste and had to go to the front desk to pay for these. They had selective hours when food service was available and had to buy frozen food and junk food to make it up. Not going back and a waste of $179.

Not a bad little hotel. Rooms are nice though not very big. Slow slow Internet but very clean and friendly.

Sketchy people and setting, but it was the cheapest room I could find. Honestly it turned out to be a much better stay than I anticipated. Decent rooms for the price.

The exterior was somewhat shabby but the room was very clean.

My family and I thoroughly enjoy our stays. The rooms are very clean and quiet. I would recommend Alaska's Select Inn to anyone needing a comfortable and quiet Inn.

Very nice, very clean. My wife and little boy and I stayed here for 2 days and really enjoyed it. The beds were really comfortable and it was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend it.

I must say that the staff went over and above when it came to accommodating our unique needs. We didn't have the noise issue that I have seen one one other post and the Hotel was booked solid. I also noticed the rooms seemed to be updated compared to the picks online. (IE:HDTV, Newer Furniture including desk and a very comfortable computer chair. ) I stayed a week to be reunited with my son and daughter and I must say that the Alaska Select Inn made my trip forever memorable in a good way.

First let me say that the people that work there are very accomodating and friendly! My issue is that it's extremely noisy! I changed rooms once but it didn't really help. Slamming doors and late night noisy arrivals. If the people that stay there aren't considerate then you can hear everything. Talking, flushing, walking, showers. I wouldn't stay there again. There seems to be no insulation in the walls or between floors. Doors slamming, stomping in the room upstairs, unattended children running the halls. The walls are paper thin. On the upside, great location, nice people, parking is easy, the kitchen is so nice to have, wireless access. Comfy room and clean enough. If you can deal with the noise then by all means stay. But be warned it's noisy. The staff are very nice.
