Great place. Nice rooms and clean. Great coffee. I would stop here again. Not pet friendly. I have dogs sleeping on my truck he digested where I can park and let them potty.

The clerks Brett and KJ were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and quiet. Breakfast had eggs, bacon, and sausage available… great place for the price…

Usually I shy away from Super 8 motels, but after reading the reviews and seeing this one for myself, I am pleasantly surprised… and relieved. Apparently, it's been quite a struggle to find decent, budget hotels during this trip, but this is a good find. The front desk man, CJ (I may have gotten his name wrong), was very friendly. I told him I write reviews and was too tired to be disappointed. He assured me I wouldn't be. The hallways do smell a bit like mildew, and the paint is orange and brown, but the room is CLEAN. It has a modern look with huge prints hanging over each bed. The room is well-dusted, carpets aren't stained, and the area around the toilet is even clean. This is a very huge welcome to weary travelers like us! Thanks!

We have visited three times enjoyed each visit. The staff is courteous, the beds are clean and firm with down-like pillows, and the bathroom shower is faux granite. For being a 2 star hotel, I feel that the service and the room are above what is to be expected. We've stayed on both the second and third floors, and our rooms were always clean, updated, had working appliances, and were bug-free. The only "Eww" moment was this last visit because the toilet lid and seat are stained pink, which I know is caused by buildup of improperly diluted cleaning solution. True, there were some less than "desirable" proprietors while we were there and we smelled marijuana smoke once coming up to our room, but you can't hold the hotel responsible for that. Yes there is no elevator, so if you have limited mobility I strongly suggest booking the first floor. It is also on a 6 lane highway and a stone's throw from the interstate, so you may hear an ambulance or two in the night. I also suggest booking a room on the second floor if offered, because the temperature stays better regulated in the middle — they have wall units that don't run if no one is staying in the room. May 2018 Update: Our previous stays were usually $60-80 per night, but for the night of The University of Alabama's graduation our rate went up to $375.99, with the night before being an expected rate of $90. This type of price gouging should be illegal!

Great rooms and friendly staff. I was late for the free continental breakfast and the owner/attendant still allowed me to eat. Very polite and friendly staff. I highly recommend them.

I would give this hotel 5 stars if the rooms were bigger and the beds weren't so soft. The front desk staff was very accommodating to me and my service dog. After seeing the reviews for motel6 were all one stars I figured I would try to stay here. They didn't charge me an extra fee for my service dog and accommodated us. The rooms look more like a laquinta then a super 8, and there's a hot breakfast. Rooms are very clean. Very glad I checked this hotel out and it was cheaper then the motel6 was listed at!

I absolutely love my room and the staff! The staff can direct you to the best food at the greatest low prices. I will star here, every time in Tuscaloosa or near by. Extremely convenient to the interstate and events.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful when needing to make reservations or modify the reservations.

Don’t do it. Smells gross, air conditioner is ancient as everything. Bed was literally broke in the middle no joke. Still has carpet EW. Never ever again.

Enjoyed the room facing the bushes in the back of the hotel. Did not hear the highway even with the window open.

Bed, tv, and hot shower. It's clean and reasonably priced. Easy on and off the freeway, and close to university boulevard.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Older, but well-maintained room. Room a little stuffy when we arrived, but not bad. Link sausage and eggs on breakfast buffet — the first time we had that in the last ten stays at hotels in this price range. Shower water took a little bit of time to warm up. Soft bed. Good Wi-Fi signal.

Just a normal roadside hotel without an elevator. Free parking and reasonable staff. Breakfast was ok. Cheap for a reason.

I visit Alabama once a month room Detroit and from now on I will be staying here everytime! The rooms are clean and very friendly atmosphere! The customer service is unreal! Patel I think he said was his name is one of the most helpful people Ive ever met! They didnt have a smoking room which is what we reserved and he went out his way to help us! Made what couldve been a very frustrating experience ok! Great way to start my year! Will see ya every month if possible!

In town for graduation, so I only needed a bed, a shower, and a parking space. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with sausage links and eggs plus the usual cereal and yogurt. The automatic pancake maker was delightful, but then I'm a fan of gadgets and conveyor belts. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, and the toilet seemed to run more than necessary, but those are minor things, so I gave four stars instead of five. Definitely met my expectations for a low-frills hotel, and I would certainly consider staying there again.

I was actually greeted after checked in. Clean room, nicely furnished, and Wi-Fi actually free. Everything in room you need for extended stay.

If you have friends come and see you that you have never seen in twelve years the manager doesn't like that. He threw me out for to many visitors. So I went to the Days in next to Walmart. A lot cleaner, better hot breakfast, and friendly staff.

The Super 8 of Tuscaloosa is neat, clean, and well maintained. Bed are comfortable, and the free breakfast is above average, for this hotel class. The front desk staff are friendly. Right off of Interstate 20/59. I would stay here, again and would recommend it. Rjt.

Clean sheets and towels. Just remodeled last year. So new paint, TV, curtains, and bedding. Unfortunately, the carpet had a sticky feel to it. The vent in the bathroom made a horrible rattling noise. And I had to clean mildew off the shower head before I could take my shower. The breakfast was sub-par.

Nice hotel for a decent price. They have complimentary breakfast in the morning with options such as toast, pancakes, sausage, cereal, and more. The staff member Brian was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly hotel clerk. He was super friendly and great at his job. I've stayed here twice and would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Only thing I didn't enjoy was the pillows lol. Over all great room and great price.

Very dirty rooms. We looked behind the nightstands and there were wrappers and at least a half inch of dirt. Would never recommend this hotel!

In pretty good shape for a Super 8. As usual the room got my allergies to react. Breakfast was sausages, chicken rolls, danishes, and cereal. Coffee, orange juice, and apple juice were also served.

Room was extreanly hot on entry and took all night to cool down. Poor breakfast options.

Stay about once a month… staff very friendly, rooms always nice and clean, nice with best price, right off interstate and good location for eating places.

The worst bang for the buck unless you like peeling paint and lights bulbs burned out with blood on the bottom of the toilet. Carpet and interior in need of a remodel. However the staff very friendly and the breakfast satisfying, Will never return or use a Wyndham facility.

Average place. Air conditioning could be better, walls weren't very soundproof (with noisy people above us and to the side). Slight old-hotel smell. Beds smaller than expected. Breakfast mediocre: oatmeal, waffle machine (out of syrup when I ate), two cereals, toast, coffee. No hot chocolate, no muffins, no bagels.

Great location right on interstate so very convenient… clean room at reasonable price. Enough choice in breakfast… I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Plain, basic motel. Some wear and tear, but the room is comfortable with modern furnishings and the bathroom is clean. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast: cereals, muffins, coffee juices and DIY waffles. Quiet, despite being right next to the interstate. Grounds a bit trashy. Fairly priced.

A good room for the price. It was clean, the attendent was friendly, and there were no bed bugs.
