It was ok. The room smelled strongly of cleaners and I am allergic to that, so we had to go buy an air purifier at Walmart to use to get us through the night. The hot water and cold water were mixed up in the bathroom sink… no big deal once I figured it out. The free breakfast was pretty good, although I have had better eggs at other places. I did not like the coffee at all. It was strange that I never saw another woman guest there besides myself that night or the next morning. Not sure if it was a fluke or what. It was nice to be able to walk over to Outback for dinner and walk back to the hotel! The staff there were friendly and helpful!

Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and fresh, the staff are always friendly and helpful, breakfast is good. Both our stays have been very good.

The staff was so helpful in getting us extra blankets for the kids. Probably one of the best smelling hotels I have ever stayed in.

We landed at this hotel at 2am after not being able to find a room in a 60 mile radius. Last room available, but it was just what we needed. Room was clean, newly remodeled in fact. Bed was heavenly! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was undergoing renovations and they started early, so that was unpleasant because they were right outside our room. Otherwise, everything was great.

The place was ok they serve breakfast and stuff like that I was therenfor 5 days for job related thing.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at! I am certain that the bathrooms had not been cleaned in a very long time! I complained to the sales director and she did nothing! This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Look at these pictures of the bathroom!

Needed a place to sleep, stopped at a few hotels that were all booked. Beaumont in had rooms at a great price but, as soon as we got into the room a roach crawled across the wall, we left immediately and got a refund with no hassle.

Great rooms and friendly staff! I come here every week as I am an out of town college student that attends Jeffreson State. I’ve been staying here since January of 2018 every week. The hotel has been getting remodeled and sometimes it’s loud, but this is my second week staying in one of the newly remodeled rooms. I couldn’t ask for a better room. I’ve been to a lot of places and stayed at several Sheraton and Hilton hotels. This one by far has the best staff. They get to know you quick and every evening when I get here I hear “good afternoon Mr. Kelsey” and every morning I leave “have a great day Mr. Kelsey! See you next week! ” The remodeling is looking great and can’t wait to see the 100% finished product!

Seems to be a hotel that's just been built, but nice staff, near food and shopping and beds are comfortable.

The most clean and comfortable to stay in and the employee's are nice and understanding, you will love this place.

Very nice staff clean rooms and a good breakfast I'm very happy with my stay and when passing through Fultondale I'll pick this hotel again.

Do not stay here! As soon as you walk in the front lobby is under construction and a disaster area. The night clerk was nice, but once upstairs there was zero air circulating, room was hot and stunk, hairs in the tub, etc. The next morning to save time and the hassle of finding somewhere else to stay I went to pay for another night and was told the rate went from 85 to 106? Looked online and that wasn't true. The lady who works the morning shift wasn't even at the desk when I walked over but on her phone in the "dining" area and was less than friendly and with the rate increase I left. The hotel should not be open for business much less with a higher rate.

When I stay at a hotel in not looking for all the amenities of home. I want friendly staff that treats me like a wanted customer, clean and quiet rooms, comfortable beds. Things like TV, breakfast, internet are all nice extras but not necessary. This hotel had the basics plus several extras. And this morning I had a hot waffle, sausage, egg, oatmeal and cereal with oj. My wife said the biscuits and gravy were good. Good stay.

Didn't even gst to place a night, looked online was 67, rude lady at the desk said cheapest 109. Her attitude was disgusting, she sat looking at us the second we got to the desk, totally lazy. I'm a manager at a Minnesota walmart, if I had an employee do that, I would have a talk. I wish this place luck, with service like that. Oh advise, smile, even if it's fake.

Would love to give it a minus. Worst place we have ever stayed. DIRTY! No decaf coffee or waffles. Machines broken. Oranges were yellow a d sickly looking. Frosted flakes were not. First room we were given had not been cleaned. Second room so bad I had to throw my socks away.

Very warm welcome. Rooms were very nice. Price was in good budget range. Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Location was slightly obscure. The reservation placed 4 hrs prior was "unable to locate" resulting to about a half wait while the problem was resolved. Did Not receive the room indicated in the reservation. The room was poorly maintained by any one unless it was absolutely necessary, ie… only the beds had been seemingly changed. Floors did not appear cleaned. There were many more issues that I could continue with but I would rather not speak of this hotel again to be frank.

My sweetie made it very special for me. Service was great. Thanks to all for making this.

Good staff, but room smelled of mildew, bed lumpy, could clearly hear upstairs guest walking in their room. Good price.

Excellent staff. More than willing to make our stay perfect. Great location from the main highway and shopping areas.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location right of I-65 as well as many restaurants to choose from (of all price ranges). Multiple shopping choices as well. Just far enough out of the city center to feel safe bit clear enough to be near all the attractions.

Staff was friendly. Room was booked under Holiday Inn Express & Suites. They honored the price I was given. I didn't get the king size room, but overall, it still was more comfortable than the last hotel I used. I actually was able to sleep.

Reserved a room with two Queens, none available at check-in. Desk clerk was very polite and got us in a room that worked, but was not ideal. Bathroom was outdated and needed an update, especially the shower/tub. Faucet had to be turned just the right way to get hot water and overall appearance left a little to be desired. Breakfast seemed like it would have been good, but it fell short. There was a great selection, but several issues. The cooked eggs were way over cooked and left in the heat lamps too long. Additionally, the very cool pancake maker was out of batter. The only thing that kept this at two stars instead of one, is the friendliness of the staff.

Horrible customer service, charged us for an extra night at a extra premium price for a basic room and after a MONTH still haven't refunded the overcharge! I think that's call theft! Stay away from this den of liars and head to the Hampton…

The hotel smells fresh as soon as you walk into the lobby, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and everything feels comfortable for an overnight or extended stay.

Good location. Nice staff. Clean. Breakfast area is small. Door is hard to enter if you are carrying anything. No fridge in room. Beds are comfortable.

Owner had the room ready for our event. He was wonderful and very accommodating. Event went very well! I would recommend this hotel.

Modern rooms with plenty of outlets, a microwave and fridge. Friendly staff can help arrange a taxi to the airport.

The room was clean but I felt it was overpriced. She gave me her "best" price which was more than I've ever paid in a Holiday Inn. When I intimated I was considering leaving, she dropped another $25. Even then, had I seen the room first, I would have held out for more. My problem was I'm used to a room with microwave and frig which had neither. It had an overstuffed chair crammed between the bed and wall that didn't fit well. By the time the chair and footrest were stuffed in, to get in bed you had to start near the foot and crawl up to the top. I suspect they don't have maintenance on site. The bathroom towel rack was loose with some of the screws sticking out and the top towel shelf looked like someone had been doing chin up's with it as it was bent down. Not so bad that the towels were falling off but almost. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. That was OK if you didn't want to shave after a shower but if you did, the fog on the mirror was indeed a handicap. If you briskly moved the door back and forth, the clearing of the mirror was dramatically improved. The desk clerk was very pleasant but if people were willing to pay her starting price, she could well afford to be pleasant. I don't know what issues others have had with the breakfast but I felt it was as good as most if not better than other Holiday Inns. The lady taking care of it was VERY pleasant and went out of her way to see we had everything we needed.

I was happy a little pricey but place is nice and clean people are nice and courtious.
